Beautiful Dirty Rich (Open)

Dear _____,
We've seen your work. You are an amazing model. However we want you to star in a movie. Star you say? What about other actresses and actors? Well this is as much an experiment as it is a movie. Attached we have a summary of the movie Simple Georgia if you're interested please write us back.

Summary: Georgia is a small town girl with dreams of making it big in Hollywood when she is catapulted into fame in a very bizzare way will the stars of the red carpet love her or hate her.

Roles:

Georgia- the main character our bright and shining star if you have this name in parantheses after you stage name you're her! Georgia is a small-town girl and she's very naieve. But she's also poised enough to get what's going on around her. Her love interest is Benjamin. Congratulations: Carissa

Isis- Georgia's best friend our supporting character. If this name is in parantheses after your stage name you're her! Isis isn't naieve she's street-tough in the ways of Hollywood at least. She has taken Georgia under her wing to protect her. Her love interest is Robert. Congratulations: Amadalie leReaux

Caroll- The villain! If this name is in parantheses after your stage name you're her! Caroll is seductive and shrewd she delights in other's pain and being in the spotlight. There's one problem though Georgia is stealing her spotlight. Time to take her down. Her love interest is Loren. Congratulations: Aurora

Cordelia- Caroll's lackey for lack of a better term. If this name is in parantheses after your stage name you're her! Cordelia is almost comically stupid and is often comic relief. She does what ever Caroll tells her. She's a brilliant actress in her own right though. Her love interest is Cameron. Congratulations: Andrea Li Thomas

--------

Benjamin- Our main man, Benjamin is ruthless when it comes to acting jobs but underneath he's a genuinely nice person. If this name is after your stage name in parantheses you're him! Benjamin is very scarred and can be needlessly cruel. He doesn't know how to feel about Georgia. His love interest is Georgia. Congratulations: Jason "Jazz" Grayson

Robert- Benjamin's best friend. If this name is after your stage name in parantheses you're him! He's clumsy, endearing and adorable. He's incredibly loyal to Benjamin. Robert has been with Benjamin since he first broke into the bussiness. He loves Georgia like a little sister. His love interest is Isis. Congratulations: (MODEL NAME HERE)

Loren and Cameron (Ian Freist) are wildcards. You will be meeting them soon.

Thank you,
Maxxie Films

((Amadalie leReaux (Isis)))

Amadalie leReaux was not French. In fact she was Russian and her real name was Annette Klaus but like most models she adopted a stage name. Stepping out of the car Amadalie straightened her dark hair. She was participating in an experiment that Maxxie Films was hosting. A cast of all models. She figured the movie would probably rake in cash just because everyone was going to be gorgeous but the critics would flay it alive. But it would be fun, she was told that they had four females and two males in the main cast counting herself but that two more male parts were being written into the script.

Amadalie glanced at the letter in her hands. Isis, best friend, tough chick. Amadalie's blue eyes went to the studio. Studio 7 is where they weer starting out. Why the producers didn't hold some kind of try-outs was mystifying until Amadalie had seen here character description. She wouldn't be acting! She WAS Isis! Did that mean everyone else resembled their character?

If so then this wasn't really a movie, Amadalie thought, it was more like shove a bunch of people together in a room teach them lines and film it. Ah well, then at least she'd like the girl who was supposed to be her best friend. She opened the door to the studio. "Miss leReaux, you are the first to arrive. Please, take a seat whilst we wait for the rest of the cast. Do you have any questions?" This man was obviously the director.

"Who are Loren and Cameron?" Amadalie asked in her Russian accent. It was noticeable but not thick she could see surprise in the director's eyes. "They are wild cards. Cameron and Loren are not actors and they are not models. They are wildcards chosen from real life positions. I think you will like both"

Carissa{Georgia}

Who was Carissa? Really she was no one special. It was almost freaky how much she sounded like Georgia. She was from a really small town in Maine. She hadn't ever been anywhere like Hollywood, or even New York City for that matter. This was just like her dream come true. She had traveled to New York and became a model, she was also in a few broadway shows..not big parts but it counted. So she did happen to have a little tiny bit of a background in theater. When she got the part of Georgia she didn't even think about how much different Hollywood would be. As a model she never had to deal with critics talking about her because it was always what she had on that mattered. No one really knew who she was other then a pretty face with a tall boney body in some crazy outfit. It worked out for her though she never tried to be skinny it just happened to be that way. She was about 5'10" and weight about 115 lbs. So many people thought it was unhealthy untill they saw the way she ate. Living in a small town Carissa new everyone and they all found it funny that such a skinny girl could eat as if she were as big as a hippo.

"Go on and have fun." Her mother had said before she boarded the plane. Stepping off she wasn't sure if this was such a great idea. What was Hollywood really like? Would everyone like her? What if they didn't. Carissa grabbed her bags and showed her I.D. To the man who was going to bring her to the studio. The man asked her why her last name wasn't on anything. "I don't tell people my last name, I changed my first name because I don't feel like all my friends and family being known to the world." She stated sitting in the back of a black limo all off her things getting piled in behind her.

Carissa didn't have time to go to the hotel room so she had to carry two suitcases, a laptop bag, a backpack, a hat, black gloves, and her small black purse that matched her outfit perfectly. Speaking of outfits she hoped it wasn't windy since she had on a short flowy skirt the wouldn't be good in wind. Whe they got to the studio Carissa got out pulling all of her stuff with her and placing the hat on her head over her short blonde hair and walking into the room. Her hazel eyes sparkled in excitement.

CrimsonShadow 02-17-2010 04:20 AM

A black sleek car pulled up to the studio and stopped right in front of the place. The driver got out and opened the rear door. The first thing you saw was a silver pump and a really long leg that was covered with a pair of black ripped jeans. Soon you saw the other leg and then the girl appeared completely. Taking a step away from the door you could see that she was wearing a silver tank top and a black leather jacket over top of it with silver accents. The girl had long wavy red hair that fell down to her lower back. As you worked your way up to her face you could see red lips and when you reached her eyes you were captivated by her vibrant emerald green eyes. As the driver shut her door he handed her a small black and silver clutch.

Without even saying a thank you or anything the girl took off for the doors. Walking like a real model she strutted through the doors and when the guards at the front door stopped her she flashed them a dazzling smile. "Excuse me miss, may I have your name?" he asked her. Her smiling brightning up a tad more she answered him, "Aurora. You can tell everyone I'm here now." Walking past them she entered the room the other models were in. This was going to be fun.

Blissful_Nightmares 02-17-2010 01:45 PM

Amadalie was left alone for a moment as the director went to show in two more females. Amadalie had seen both of them at some kind of show or another. Carissa was it? She was still relatively new to the business. And the other girl, Aurora, Amadalie didn't like her mostly because at the time they'd both been walking for the same designer and Amadalie felt Aurora was unforgivably rude.

"Please, both of you sit down" The director said. "This is a small enough group to start with. But perhaps we will introduce roles. Amadalie here will be playing Isis. Carissa is our leading lady Georgia. And the lovely Aurora will be our villain any questions?"

Amadalie smiled. "Do we have to like each other?" She asked sweetly her Russian accent dripping poison. "I'm afraid I've never quite gotten along with Aurora"

The director lifted an eyebrow. "You're full of questions today, Miss leReaux" The Russian model simply smiled but her feelings had been made clear. "Does anyone one else have a concern?" The director continued surprised at the display of venom from Amadalie. She didn't speak to often let alone drop insults.

Andrea Li Thomas(Cordelia)

Drew checked her reflection in the mirror. Almond eyes, light brown hair and smooth caramel skin. Her face had what her friends called the 'golden ratio.' She had won the lucky genetic lottery thanks to her parents. Her blood was half asian thanks to her mom, and half white thanks to her father. Better to be half than none though. Since she lived in the suburbs of Diamondbar; it only took her a few hours to arrive here. Even though Hollywood and her home city were very close; it still felt like they were a world apart. This was probably due to the fact she knew no one here. After dropping off her luggage at the hotel, she took a taxi up to the studio. Drew arrived wearing tight blue jeans, a white long sleeved shirt and short combat boots. Passing through security, Drew went to search for the model's room. Where was it...Ah, there it is. Opening the door, Drew strode into the room to join the other girls there.

broadway_princessxo34 02-17-2010 09:42 PM

Carissa watched the other model, Aurora, come in. She looked really stuck up and didn't find it very hard to believe someone didn't like her. She sat down near Amadalie and smiled at her. Hopefully they would be friends because it was really hard to play best friends if you hated someone else. She looked up and smiled at the new girl coming in hoping unlike the other three cast members she wouldn't match her personalitly although Carissa had a bad feeling she would.

"Yeah..I have a question....Why do we all seem to have the same personalities as are characters?" She asked in her sing-song voice. A smiled trailed across her face she was going to have a fun time with this if they didn't have to work at getting their personalities right.

CrimsonShadow 02-18-2010 03:48 AM

Aurora walked farther into the room and colapsed dramaticaly into a plush chair with a heavy sigh. She smirked over at Amadalie when she told the director she didn't like her. "It's ok Amadalie I don't like you either and FYI, I'm not going to be nice." She began to tap for perfect manacured nails on the arm of the chair hoping to annoy the other girls. Man am I going to have fun with this.. she thought to herself.

When the last girl walked in Aurora stopped tapping and smiled over to her. "You must be playing Cordelia. There's a chair over by me you can sit in." Looking back over to Amadalie she glared at her. I can't believe she has the starring role. But oh well being the bitch is always fun.. Aurora began tapping her nails again this time impatiently.

Girl in the Blue 02-18-2010 06:44 AM

When she walked in, one of the girls in there smiled at her. Andrea smiled back in response but it turned into a frown when she heard the girl speak. She had seen the girl before in another fashion show, although she doubted that Carissa would have remembered her. Looks like one of the actresses was a narrow-minded girl who judged others by first glance; although technically, Andrea was also judging her likewise through her words. Inwardly, she was torn between how to react. This was her first movie job and Drew didn't want to be enemies with anyone but it's difficult not to if she worked with someone who was impolite right off the bat. Biting down a rude response, Drew reminded herself that having friendly terms with everyone was important in this industry. Being careful to hide the her true feelings from her face, Andrea pulled up a patient smile to Carissa. "No, I would hope not," she responded with a light laugh "But try not to judge a book by it's cover."

Responding to Aurora's statement, Drew nodded ,"Yes, I'm Cordelia's actress. And which one are you?" Sliding into the chair that Aurora offered her, Andrea realized that this was exactly like the script's character relationships. The other two models, Carissa and Amadalie, seemed ready to get into a fight with Aurora and Aurora seemed to act likewise. Carissa seemed to have already marked Drew herself off as an idiot. Sitting by Aurora, she came to the realization that the cast is already starting to divide and that she might be playing the sidekick on set and off; if she teamed up with Aurora aginst the other two. This would not do at all as she hated being seen as a ditz or a lackey. "I've seen you girls model before in several runway shows and you guys are all incredibly graceful," Drew complimented the three and smiled honestly ",I hope we can all be friends and work together to make this movie a success. My name is Andrea but you may call me Drew." Turning to Carissa, Drew said "I'm sure your a smart girl but let me reassure you that I am nothing like Cordelia in real life." Well, that was a bit of a lie. Sometimes Drew like to let loose and be silly but she had to act as a proffesional right now, so a small twist wouldn't exactly hurt. Sitting back, Drew waited for the director to instruct them on their duties.

Blissful_Nightmares 02-18-2010 02:02 PM

Other girls. Yes, this was more of a reality show than acting. Now, that just left the men but where in the world were they? Amadalie listed off every male model she'd ever worked with tying to decide which ones were Benjamin and Robert. No one came to mind.

She liked the girl who was playing Georgia. That was good. The director broke in. "Ladies, ladies. This is a social experiment not a chance to pull out the claws. You are all similar to your characters to eliminate the need for auditions but also to make the relationships feel more real. We're hoping Simple Georgia will be a great hit!"

"Feels done before." Amadalie interjected blandly. "Excuse me for being blunt, sir"

"Yes, the plotline has been used before, Miss leReaux. But no one's ever done it quite this way. Now, the men will be arriving later. Why don't you ladies get to know each other before they do?"

Girl in the Blue 02-18-2010 07:28 PM

Andrea's face paled like the blood had drained from it. The director chose her because she looked like a moron and a lackey? Feeling horrified, she slumped back into her chair a bit as the director prattled on. Wonderful. Oh well, looks like she needs to be able to convince everybody that's she's more than that or a career in this field is bound to be short lived and doomed. Pulling herself together, Andrea leaned forward to the others to appear more open. The actors are coming to join them soon. She needed to make a better impression than she had on this group...

broadway_princessxo34 02-18-2010 08:12 PM

"Drew, I didn't mean that I thought you were like Cordelia, I just was wondering cause I noticed that Aurora and Amadalie seem like their characters. So I was just wondering. I didn't mean to sound judgemental. I still want us all to get along...and be friends or at least not fight with eachother." Carissa said looking across the table at Drew. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I swear I would never do that." She tried to smile felling really bad that she had seemed to make a judgement about someone. Really making judgements wasn't at all like her normally.

Girl in the Blue 02-18-2010 08:27 PM

Drew smiled honestly. Well, no real harm done. Perhaps, she had taken Carissa's words to seriously. "I'm sure we can all be friends," she responded. Although she wasn't sure if she was reassuring herself or Carissa. Straightening out her outfit and Drew wished that someone would break the ice. Seeing that no one did, Andrea took the initiative and said ",My character looks pretty interesting.." Shaking her head, Drew took a look at Carissa and asked ",what about you? Do you like your role?"

broadway_princessxo34 02-18-2010 08:39 PM

"Yeah, I think my character is kinda cool. Although it freaks me out how much she seems to be like me....." Carissa said smiling up at Drew. "Maybe they were secretly filming us just so our characters would have at least on thing that was like us." She joked laughing softly. She really had a feeling that who they were playing was just like them but decided not to think about it. Drew seemed so nice..but then again some people were completely different from what they seemed. Although Carissa really hoped Drew was really nice.

Girl in the Blue 02-18-2010 08:52 PM

"Then I guess I got chosen for Cordelia because I was goofin off at the moment," Drew nodded in agreement. Hopefully that was the real reason but she had a bit of a doubt."Maybe the director just happened to pass by us somewhere and decided that we were good for these roles. Not that I'm complaining. This is my first time being in a film." She looked at the others in a questioning fashion. "How about you guys?"

broadway_princessxo34 02-18-2010 08:57 PM

"Mine too!" Carissa exclaimed. "I've been in theater productions before though. I have a good singing voice I guess...and being a model helps with the dancing and stuff." She said smiling slight. Models also tended to have a better stage preasents because they had been trained to be able to show things off. This movie, at least filming it, was going to be very interesting and hopefully fun.

Girl in the Blue 02-18-2010 09:09 PM

"I'm not sure if we're going to be singing in this movie but your experiance is a good bonus," she said ",I had strepp throat and it damaged my vocal cords quite a bit, so I guess I might ask the director to let me lip sing if the movie calls for a few songs." She laughed and stretched her arms. Being stuck in this room was starting to get to her. "Do you think we can get up and go check out the set?" she asked, although the question was adressed to everyone in the room.

broadway_princessxo34 02-18-2010 09:20 PM

{I'm gonna wait for someone else to post.}

Blissful_Nightmares 02-18-2010 10:03 PM

Amadalie had been spacing for a moment before questions drew her back in. "This is my first time acting as well. Perhaps, we should go look at the set. It appears we won't be filming on location"

A few rooms away the director was busy welcoming the newest arrival. Ian Freist otherwise known as Cameron. "All the ladies are here already! I'm so glad that you agreed to this! The original though was to find a model. But no one acted enough like Cameron!"

Ian Freist was every inch a business man. This movie was free publicity. Well more than free actually, he was getting paid to be here like everyone else. "I see"

"You should go meet them. I left them in the foyer talking amongst themselves. I'm certain you'll enjoy all of them"

Ian laughed. Of course he would he was working with gorgeous models. It might've been some man's fantasy. But then Ian wasn't exactly used to acting so he assumed that starting out in such a low-budget chick flick would help. At least Freist Enterprises was being named as a benefactor. That would help immeasurably. The director sped off to greet any other male who'd shown up. Apparently, the men were entering from the back while the women entered from the front.

Ian entered the area that the Director had shown him too just as Amadalie was affirming in a Russian accent that they should go and find the set. "Afternoon, ladies." Ian said politely. The description for Cameron was short: "Loren's best friend. Usually coldly polite to the point of freezing. He doesn't like to talk all that much but when he does he doesn't always think over his words. It's led to many thinking that he is either rude or just stupid." It was very flattering to be told. You're cold! You never think about what you say! You come off as stupid or arrogant! Come play that in a movie! But he figured as much as it was insulting it would also be fun.

"My name is Ian Freist. Looks like I'm the 'wildcard'"
*
*

Amadalie looked up. So at least one male had arrived. "Hello, Mr. Freist. Would you like to take a look at the set with us?" She asked.

The man in the doorway smiled. "Why not?"
((I might add more positions if any wants to double. Benjamin is reserved but Robert and Loren are available))

CrimsonShadow 02-19-2010 04:46 AM

Aurora sat back and listened while everyone talked. Things were starting to heat up and she couldn't help but smile to herself. She was rude and mean in real life but she could totally amp it up for the movie. It was just so fun for her to be a bitch. But she would play it semi nice for now, earn everyone's trust. Well as much as she could, then crush everyone in the end.

Standing up Aurora walked over to Amadalie and smiled. "I regret that we got off on the wrong foot. I know I can be rude and that my attitude can be distasteful, but I would like to start over if you do." Finishing she stuck her hand out as a test for the other model.

((So I'm just wondering. What's everyone's time zones?))

Jason 'Jazz' Grayson

Ah the acting world. Jason's brother was his agent and the one who had pulled him into modeling after school. Now he found an acting job for him to do. "Talk about working me to the bones," Jazz grumbled ",I don't even get full pay; who says I have to pay you such a big royalty for everything?"
Throwing him a bemused and half condescending look, Jazz's brother went back to answering his emails on his blackberry. "Look Jazz," he said ", you’re not my only client and I did you a favor. Modeling is a great job and managing all your appointments and contracts is extremely difficult."
"I'm not your client, I'm your brother."
"This is why I find the best gigs for you."
"What do you mean best gigs? This is like a Disney movie and I'm playing the goofball."
"Aren't you always the goofball?"
Jazz resigned himself and spent the rest of the car ride procrastinating in his head. He didn't enjoy being forced to meet new people and having to be constantly friendly to the uppity ones. After dropping Jazz off, his brother chatted with some of the workers around there and gave him a pat. "Call me if you need me," he said with a glance that secretly conveyed the message 'don't screw up and I don't have time to answer your little problems.' Nodding and waving good-bye, Jazz headed into through the back door and into the studio. Where to find the other actors...shouldn't be that hard as he heard that the rest of the cast were all models. Just look around for the skinniest ones on the set and you'll find them, he thought to himself with a sigh. Please let there be some interesting people here.

Girl in the Blue 02-20-2010 11:27 AM

((my time zone is...um, well I'm in Taiwan so if your american than I'm a day ahead of you guys--I think))
"Hi Ian," Drew said conversationaly ",glad to know you don't take what the director says to heart much." So this was the guy playing Cameron? He looks pretty nice--bodywise. Pulling the door back and giving a dramatic bow, Drew added in a joking fashion ",after you ladies."
