He started to walk towards the edge of the roof not knowing that she was blushing, while his wings looked as though they were frozen solid. "I'm going back inside..." then suddenly he jumped back down to the patio, and picked up his cloak.

Mei awoke with a start, shivering slightly before shaking her head. It felt like…something was there… but of course the room was empty except for her and a sleeping jack curled up under the window. She glanced at the cat man, remembering his offering of letting her sleep in his room…a strange creature to be sure. Pushing all away but at the same time pulling them closer…

Shaking off the thought she decided to go in search of a midnight snack, too uncomfortable by the strange feeling to sleep. She walked out to the bar, after getting herself some cider and cheese since the bartender was asleep… So she sat, nibbling on her snack with a frown.

Akio walked back inside and noticed that a girl was sitting at the bar eating, he didnt bother to talk to her so he just kept his mind to his own and walked over to the counter to check out of the inn.

Mei glanced at Akio and nodded in acknowledgement but her mind was still distracted so she sad nothing. She simply let him pass, still nibbling on her cheese as she stared down into her cup of cider. There had to be a reason….and now that the snow seemed to be calming down it made her even more nervous…

Once he had checkout of the inn he turned around and bowed his head towards Mei in respect, and turned around. As he made his way to the door and opened it his vision started to get blury from the lack of sleep and food. He held onto the door frame and shook his head to gain back some of his vision and forced his way out.

Mei sighed as she saw him leaning so heavily on the door frame, glancing at her cheese with a look of annoyance before standing. He looked like he might just fall over… so she followed Just behind him out the door, her arms crossed over her chest. Tossing her dark hair she said nothing but waited, watching to see if he got anywhere alright… If she had to carry him back in she would…”You’re not much good to anyone if you fall over…” She murmured softly.

Akio noticed as Mei had started following him, and turned his head slightly to the side. "I never was.......I never will be....." he spoke gently turning his head back and still walking on the snow covered trail limping, as he walked he dragged his cloak and the tip of his wing in snow. After a while he had lost his balance and fell to his knees, slowly then forcing himself back up.

That’s only true if you give up…” Mei muttered and shook her head, glancing upwards at the dreary sky a moment. Seeing, or rather hearing, Akio fall she rolled her eyes and walked forward. “You’re not going anywhere…Stop being an idiot…” She said simply as she pulled his arm over her shoulder and gripped his waist before turning and half dragging him towards the Inn whether he resisted or not.

As Akio was dragged towards the inn he kept trying to force his wings to spread out, but was too exhaust to do anything. He kept his head down as Mei brought him back. "W-why.....my life has nothing to do with yours...so why are you helping me...?" he said keeping his voice soft and somewhat quiet. "What happens to me....shouldnt matter to you......."

“Yeah well if the partially see through top and tattoo didn’t tell you, I tend to do things I shouldn’t.” Was Mei’s teasing response as she continued to drag him. Once she got him inside she’s push him into a chair near the bar and hand him her cup of cider which was still warm and the remaining cheese. She put her hands in her pockets then, leaning back on the counter as she shrugged and muttered “People thinking others lives have nothing to do with theirs is the problem with this world…”

Akio sat on the chair not accepting the cider or cheese, he lowered his head and pulled the large cloak over his head and holding onto it tightly to keep his himself warm, thanks to the pixie's magic none of his wing tips were shown. "You mortals........know nothing of a fallen angel's pain....yet you act like you know our suffering..." he said with a muffled voice under his cloak.

“Is that so?” she paused, a humor in her gaze that made her dark eyes twinkle slightly, “…but go ahead and dwell…doing wonders for you so far isn‘t it?.” She answered with a soft chuckle, simply tilting her head to the side and watching him. She was a kind hearted soul yes, but there were certain things she had very distinct opinions about… giving up was THE number one. She paused in her chuckle, however, and glanced at the window a moment. For a moment the optimistic flirt frowned but then she looked towards Aiko with the same smile as before.

Once Akio had heard Mei talk about him in such a way he couldnt stand listening to her, he knew what she had said about him was right, so covered his ears still hiding his head on the table. "Please....j-just leave me alone...." his voice sounding depressed, while his eyes were starting to tear up. Eventually tears started coming down his cheeks, with that his wings started to fold down closely to his back.

Mei watched him a moment longer until he started to cry, causing her to stand a little straighter so she could put her hand on his back in a comforting gesture. She said nothing, simply stared out the window in silence. She was getting use to the emotional people here…and she wanted them to stay safe… She frowned a little again, her mind on a certain woman who she knew too well…

Akio had stopped sobbing and looked in the opposite direction of Mei and towards the patio. "Please..could you take your hand off my back?...." he said softly still not looking at her.

Mei merely shrugged as he spoke, crossing her arms again and leaning backwards against the bar. She didn’t say a word, watching the window in thought. The snow was clearing…that meant Emi might come soon… and this worried her. Still…she absently reached out and took a piece of the cheese she sat on the table in front of him and nibbled it thoughtfully.

Akio didnt move from the seat and kept his head turned to the side looking outisde, as the storm passed he smiled lightly wondering if he could leave the inn safely without worrying about the cold weather blowing and freezing his wings. "I...I think its about time I go.." he said weakly getting up with his vision still blury.

Mei simply reached out, putting a hand on his shoulder and pushing downward to force him back into the chair. The storm was lightening yes…but he was still weak. “I don’t think that’s a good idea….you can barely stand up.” She sighed and shook her head, chewing on her vivid blue lips a moment in thought. With Emi coming…was it really much safer here anyway? Now that was the question…

Akio was immediatly forced back down to his seat as he tried to walk away, he was weak but the same question kept coming into his head everytime, and it annoyed him. "Why wont you let me go?....." he said weakly with his eyes looking as if he was going unconcious soon from the lack of energy he had.

“Because I’m not interested in seeing anyone commit suicide today…” Mei answered bluntly, tilting her head to the side as she looked back at him a moment. “Which in your state is exactly what going out there would be …” mei was not one to mince words ..well except when she was flirting but that was another matter.

Akio didnt know what to say to what Mei had said to him, since he knew for a fact that with the amount of energy he had left, if he walked back into the cold he really would die. His eyes had nearly lost all their color and he had almost collasped to the floor. Once he regained his balance he lowered his head onto the table so the chances of him falling would lower, even if it was a very small chance.

Mei simply nodded as he lowered downward, pushing the cider at him. “Drink something … it’ll warm you up…” She muttered, perching on the bar for a moment and crossing her legs. She managed to smile but there was worry lingering in her gaze. He was not doing welll… this was not well timed. ((sorry Had to go take my dog for a walk xD. And ignoring a puppy who needs to go outside is a bad idea >.>))

Akio looked at the cider but pushed it away lightly. "I....I dont drink cider.....only tea." he said weakly trying to keep himself concious with the rest of his energy, his eyes were getting heavy it felt as though he really was going to pass out there.

Quietly, she wanders through the snow which now inched up pas her ankles. It was getting cold. Velvet began shivering as sh made her way through an area crowded by trees. "Hello?"
