"You lie about not tricking me." That nose wrinkled a bit. When the ice was shot towards him and Mei, he could only hope Mei moved out the way. Jack leaped up and doing a flip in the air went over Emi, twisting just before he landed he now stood behind Mei's twin with his dagger point pressed against the small of her back. "I don't enjoy being tricked, but I could forgive that. I won't forgive that you endangered Mei-chan. For that I might kill you." Jacks eyes had hardened and he was glaring hard at the back of Emi.

“She ruined my face…why shouldn‘t I use hers when I damn please“ Was her reply as she turned erected a barrier of ice along her body…including her back. She turned towards him then, attempting to kick him in the stomach to push him back. She was furious… how could this happen? She would get that damn necklace…
Mei watched a moment before bringing up one hand so blue white fire could form into it as a blade and she advanced on her sister. “Emi…this doesn’t have to be this way…” She whispered quietly, her eyes sad. Despite everything…she still loved her sister and felt guilt for the twisted thing she’d become after that terrible fire….Maybe it really was her fault like emi always said… ((anyone can join in btw XD. I had emi show up delibriately to give something to do for anyoen who wants it XD)) |
His eyes were quick, once he realized Emi was erecting a barrier over her flesh he shoved that dagger point into her, only for the handle of it be jerked from his hand as she turned towards him. Jack was ready for it though, whatever attack she would send at him. He was a thief and an assassin. Being quick on his feet was what kept him alive. He caught Emi by the ankle as she kicked at him and twisted hard in hopes of snapping that ankle. The look in his eyes would be enough to scare anyone. Jack didn't say anything, only a feral feline growl emitted from his throat. His eyes glowing yellow-green, the pupils slitted like a cats. He kept her ankle in his hands. Even if he couldn't snap that bone he could keep her off balance for awhile.

Akio got up and placed his hand out to Angil offering to help her up from her seat, when he noticed that this place wasnt getting very good. "Angil could you go find Rosa for me?" he asked softly looking at everyone pulling out their weapons.

Angil relized what was going on on the other side of the room and became serious. "Ya, I'll be upstairs if you need me." She didnt like to be around violence. The only reason she knew how to fight was because of her brother but this situation seemed a bit too much for her.

Emi let out a cry of pain at the light wound but it sounded more furious then anything. The twist of her ankle made it even worse but she decided to sacrifice the bone in order to launch another volley of Ice at Jack while he was distracted by the move. She had not survived this long because she was slow…
Mei jumped forward, throwing her flame sword to knock the volley of ice of course so it would spike into the wall instead of Jack’s chest whether he stayed where he was or not. Mei formed more fire in her fingertips, biting her lip as she remembered her promise to her parents before they died….to watch over Emi even though she was technically the younger twin. “Emi…Please….don’t make us kill you…” She whispered, though she knew her sister was beyond reasoning with at this point… |
Jack hadn't even flinched when the ice came towards him. Fully expecting it to hit him in the chest. Mei had saved him from the ice though and for that he was a bit grateful. His long tail came around, wrapping around Emi's other ankle and jerking up to pull that foot out from under her. With the hopeful result of her falling backwards. At the same time as that foot was pulled out from under her, Jack would let go of the ankle he was holding and fall onto Emi. His legs on the outside of hers to pin them tightly together and then he'd grab her wrists in each hand forcing her arms up, above her head. Shifting about a bit so he could hold both wrists tightly with one hand as he brought his right hand down to her throat. His fingernails had extended, sharp panther like claws had seemed to grown from where his nails should have been. He pressed these claws against her neck and snarled.

Akio was getting a bit angry from the fight, sisters fighting each other basically wanting to kill one another and then even Jack, he dropped his cloak to the floor and spread out his wings widely out. Suddenly with one punch towards the ground causing just a long pillar a light to cut through between them all, forcing Jack and Mei to one side and Emi to the other. "ENOUGH!!!.....whats wrong with you all?! are you completely insane for what happened in the past!?!" the amount of energy he used to such a large surrounding area had made him fall to one knee making his wings hit the ground he looked up at them all angered and exhausted.

Emi found herself falling and for a moment she simply glared at the cat. She pressed her hands into the floor as she turned and attempted to launch herself forward and out of the way of his pounce. She would have likely failed, of course, and been pinned but the wall of light came between them. “Thank you fool” she muttered to herself as she reached into her pocket to squeeze a magic gem that instantly teleported her away to wherever it’s match was far away….she escaped! To come after Mei again another day…
Mei said nothing a moment, simply closing her eyes as the disappointed dragon began sinking back into her skin ….it felt like ice against her skin then, the burning finally stopping. For a moment she sat there, her naturally blue lips turning into a frown as she stayed silent a moment. She only let out a dark snort of a chuckle, muttering “yes…yes she is…” to akio’s statement but there was more sadness then amusement in her voice. |
Jack lost his balance for a moment as that wall of light separated him from his quarry. A snarl escaped him and once it was clear that Emi had escaped because the angel boy had helped her. That panther turned towards Akio with murder in his eyes. A growl from his throat as he stalked over to Akio and wrapping a hand around his throat lifted the boy up. "What kind of Angel are you?" So much anger swirled in his cat like eyes. "Angels are the creatures that purify or protect all from pure evil and pure hatred. You are supposed to protect us from creatures like that..but you..You stupid thing aided a creature of pure hatred and allowed it to escape." His tail had went up and wrapped around Akio's waist, squeezing a bit as his hand squeezed Akio's throat. "You...You are not worthy of the wings you wear."
Jacks other hand shot forward, reaching around Akio just enough to grab a handful of feathers and yank them out. "You're no better than the monster you allowed to escape." Almost effortlessly Jack tossed Akio to the side, and then started towards him again. Those claws extended from his fingers. "Allow me to strip you of your badge of purity." Pure menace radiated from him. |
Akio laid on the floor and began to laugh manically, he had already lost all purity in him because he was sent out of heaven and cast out as a fallen. The pain he had felt from the feathers ripped out of his wings were like a little tickle rather then the pain of being banished, and that was why he took it so humorous. "Fine...go ahead...take them off!!......Your right!! I dont deserve these wings! I'm already casted out as fallen anyway! these wings shouldnt even be mine! here let me help you!" he grabbed onto his own wings and started to pull them as light started to appear from where his flesh and wings collided, he just kept laughing insanly as he kept pulling on them nearly ripping them completely off. "Before I finish though...let me ask you something...If you killed Emi, you wouldnt be any different then an ordinary murderer...remember that!!"

Angil looking from a cracked door suddenly slammed it open and threw one of her Sai between Jack and Akio. "STOP!!!!"

Runes got up from the table and excused herself and went back out into the night. The cold hair kissed her softly as she placed her hood over her mutant features. Eyes looked about as she tried to figure where wonder for a awhile and let the moon relax her. She would be happier in the morning. The night was always bitter sweet.

“Jack…Jack stop!” Mei responded, running towards him as he through the angel. “He didn’t know! ….stop it or I’ll bite your ear…” She said quietly, trying to lighten the mood with her tease as she stood in front of Jack and put a hand against his chest. She didn’t even flinch as she heard the sai land behind her, her eyes on Jack as her eyes pleaded with him wordlessly…
Hearing Aiko she glanced towards him, frowning. “And stop that Angel, You’re being a fool again… Leave your wings alone before you hurt little Angil’s feelings…” She yelled at him a moment, shivering as she tried to stop the fight. |
Tears were rolling down Angil's face and she dropped to her knees. "How could you....they were so pretty...."

Jack had laughed at Akio. "Stupid angel. I am a murderer but I am not a creature of pure hatred, like the one you just let escape." He frowned deeply at Mei as she put her hands on his chest to get him to stop. "Feh. The little fool deserves whatever punishment he can get." His ears twitched slightly at the sound of sai traveling through the air but he didn't flinch as it sailed harmlessly behind Mei.
He glared at Akio for a moment before sighing deeply. "Baka." Some of that anger left his eyes and he moved away from Mei, going to pick up the sai that had been thrown. Angil would be lucky if she got that back from him. He tucked it into his belt and turned his back to the wall. "Oyasuminasai." He muttered under his breath as he moved towards his room. He had slammed the door behind him. The sai he had acquired was placed on the single table in the room, he pulled his mask off and tossed it to the floor, entering the small wash room that was connected to his room and he stared hard at his reflection in the mirror there. |
Akio on his knees laughing insanly from the lost of both of his own wings they were only hanging by a small feather touching the smallest pigment on his flesh, with the two large gapping holes on his a strange yellowish light pretruded from there, he slowly got up to his feet and walked towards the restroom to see the damage he had done to himself with a crazed grin upon his face, dragging the wings slowly away with feathers falling off one by one. Once he reached inside he turned and looked at the damage, it was so guersome that it was humorous, while in there he began to laugh again. "Oh thats grand! They wont come off all the way huh?!" he began to pull on them, but this time he actually felt pain.

Angil got up and ran downstairs and followed Akio to the bath room. She skidded to a stop at the door. He had started to pull on them some more. she ran up and started to tug on his arms. trying to force him to stop. Tears rolling down her face. "Please...stop....I love those wings..."

Mei then turned towards the room she’d been invited to last night, thinking of his tone as he spoke. People could be so fragile in such unexpected ways… Shaking her head she walked in after him, letting her form slip away to her male form. It was similar to her female, same coloring down to the naturally blue lips but with hair just to ’his’ shoulders. The shirt became a short sleeved, plain transparent t-shirt and her tight black pants the same as before.
Mei then stepped in with his hands in his pockets, tilting his head to the side. “being the cat’s out of the bag so you might as well see… I see your scars you might as well see one of mine…” He muttered as he opened the door and walked to the washroom door. He didn’t walk in, simply turning and leaning his back against the wall next to the door and talking to Jack through the doorway. |
Akio had suddenly gasped as he saw Angil stopping him from pulling his wings anymore. "Angil...Jack....hes right about me...I dont deserve these wings of mine. I was banished from heaven to be a fallen...god had mercy on me for letting me keep my wings...but now I know...I wasnt supposed to have them.." he let his hands down as he looked as his broken wings just hanging on his back, then he looked back at her. "I probably wont live very long without these...so I wont be able to follow you....I'm sorry I broke my promise." he smiled softly and looked at his back with the light pouring out. "If you want to find your brother...grab a cup and take the light coming out of my back....It can grant your greatest desire...but theres only a one time chance once you make the wish...I die." he said weakly smiling at her.

Jack frowned deeply at his reflection. Watching as his pupils slowly became less slitted and more round. His anger had begun to fade it would seem. A finger on his lips, when Mei entered, he didn't even turn to look at her..or him. He did glance in Mei's direction. "Gomen...Imoutosan." He mumbled the words quietly, leaning forward a bit, pressing his forehead against the mirror he sighed deeply. That hand had lowered from his lips, fingers trailing down his chin and throat, those fingers grazing over the scar that wound around his neck.

Akio started coughing up blood onto the floor as he fell down to his knees from the lost of the little of light he had left in his eyes and body. "Angil....please.....hurry....make your wish.......I cannot keep my....lifespan much longer." he had said forcing the light back in to keep him alive for Angil's wish for her brother to find her. "Just say the words.......'I want my Nii-san back' and you'll be granted it...." he started to cough up blood once more.

The frozen world crunched under feet. The night seemed to loom on as she leaped into a tree and let her body rest. The moon watched her closely as lay watching the world beneath her. Runes didn't stir. She slowed her breathing and waited. Someone had to be out here. No one leaves the night to it's own peace.

Sighing Mei walked in, looking downward as he grew closer. He put his hand gently on Jacks shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze, shaking his head. “Nothing to say sorry for handsome…Emi….is… she brings out the worst in everyone…” he murmured, glancing towards the doorway again in thought. Sighing softly he added quietly “I just…. Im afraid she’ll be back and if you ally yourself with me…that would be bad…”
