"Let her come, koibito." He mumbled mostly to himself. "I'll make her regret tricking me." He motioned to the bartender and ordered another warm cider. Placing a few coins on the bartop to pay for it once it was brought to him. With a sigh he lowered that mask just far enough so he could drink from his cup of cider.

“Koibito? Must you tease a girl so…. Do be careful though…she‘s stronger then she seems” Mei responded quietly, more out of habit then anything. She glanced at him as he removed his mask, seeing the scars on his lips her keen eyes picked up despite the distance. She couldn’t help but turn her head towards him, tilting her head to the side. She didn’t look disgusted or anything, merely curious.
“You have fascinating lips Jack.” She mused quietly before turning her gaze back to her cider once more. She reached into her pocket then and pulled out a small crystal that smelled vaguely of magic…but there was a crack down the center. She began to throw it up and down in her hand absently, thinking of something..something that seemed to make her gaze turn from flirty to slightly sad… |
Akio looked over at Rosa and smiled seeing her rainbow wings. "Their beautiful.." he said happily as he saw her hover. Once he heard Angil talk about not knowing what happened he gasped a bit. "Did your mother ever tell you stories of dark elves?" he asked her sadly, since he was an angel he knew about many wars that had happened espeically ones against other races rather then just humas.

Rosa smiled and listened in about the elves. she kenw that the elves fauht for many years since her mom allied a couple of elves. other than that she was clueless to so it would be good to learn a little history.

Angil Looked pensive for a second, trying to remember the stories. "Not that I can recall. I only remember mom yelling at Nii-san when he decided to become a warrior. Something about people wanting to kill him. I figured that was only because of him choosing to fight. But could have there been more to it?" Her eyes showed both curiosity and fear. She was young, her mother died when she was even younger, so she was eager to know about herself.

He nearly dropped his cup of cider at her remark about his lips. Slamming it down on the counter rather hard as he quickly pulled that mask back up. His eyes slightly wide. He muttered a few more curse words in his native language before he turned to glare at her. "You shouldn't look at such ugly things.." Jack was frowning deeply and watching her now.

His sudden slamming caused her to miss the crystal, her lips curling into a frown as it hopped along the table. She stepped around the table to pick it up, glancing towards him as she put the crystal in her pocket again. Crossing her arms she tossed her hair, her eyes narrowing on him as he frowned. “You really should not tell a girl what to do but that didn’t stop you. Besides…they aren’t ugly, just unique.” was Mei’s honest response as she shrugged and walked a little closer with a curious expression.

"Angil...your kind...the elves...you have rivals...they are called 'dark elves' they believe in pure destruction and choas, your kind believed in harmony and peace. Both leaders ended up fighting each other in a war, your brother. He was possibly in it as well...your mother along with." he said sadly looking down at his feet then back at her. "I was part of the war...I fought alongside your brother, he was my partner. Very brave, Very strong."

rosa was surprised. the angel and the elf had a connection. she wondered about her mom if she had met them. her mom had only healed a few people with her blue powder and blue hair.

"Was?" Her eyes swelled with tears. "Is he...Is he...?" she couldnt finish. she has searched for him for so long. Finally when she did hear of him, it couldnt possibly be of death.

He had turned his head from her, a hand going up to cover his lips which were already covered by the mask. "They're ugly.." He grumbled the words out, a bit muffled by his mask and hand. "..and not something other people should look upon."

“You really have no idea what ugly is…” Was Mei cryptic, and rather saddened response. Shaking it off, however, she simply turned to him as she sat nearby. Again she titled her head to the side, grinning lightly as she murmured “You can hide it sweety but I’ll form my own opinion. You’ll find I’m a rather stubborn girl…”

He looked at Angil, seeing as she was about to cry. "No....No...your brother, he isnt dead...at least I dont think he is." he said trying to comfort her with the best of his ability. "Your brother and I had one last mission together....inflitrate the enemy base and kill their leader, after we completed our mission, the entire army came looking for us....we both ran...I flew to the sky to recon the surrounding area, but was brought down...I told your brother to keep running, and leave me...he did just that. I was captured......but thats a different story....your brother is alive...out there....somewhere." he said once last time looking out to the distance hoping he was still alive.

" I have an idea!" Rosa blurted outand floated o the ground." we can check up on his location using pixie dust! remember it can grant small wishes so if he is alive you will be able to see where he is!" Rosa admitted telling Angil.

A small tear rolled down her cheek, but relief was in her eyes. he was out there. she looked at Rosa. "Can you really do that?"

He shook his head. "Cruel things are always ugly.." He had lowered his hand and now just stared at his mug of cider. Frowning deeply behind his mask. His tail had wrapped itself around his waist now, keeping it out of the way of anyone near him.

" Yeha it will only last for seconds since there isn't anything that was his or at least i don't think there is. i'll be back though. I need to get water, or should we head inside and warm up a little bit and do this" rosa asked smiling. she would do anything in her power to help.

Sikura flew down from the top of the roof and shook her wings clean of the snow. Her eyes closed as she landed on the patio and cleaned herself of the snow. She looked at the others and bowed her head before walking into the bar. The neko was still with that disgusted woman so she looked away and went towards her room. "I should be going since the snow doesn't hurt me."

Angil glances at the door. " I think Kitty and Ice lady are finished. It should be safe to go in and warm up a bit. I unfortunately dont have anything that was his. but just a glimpse would help. Just to know that he is safe. Come on. I'll get drinks for everyone."

“Too bad you’re too pretty for anything to look ugly on you so prove yourself wrong…But that’s just my lowly opinion.” She responded, playfully bowing as she stood. With that Mei walked to the window, staring outwards and watching the people on the porch in thought. Despite her playful, flirty banter she was worried… she knew Emi would have to show up eventually…and that… was never good…
As she saw Sikura she couldn’t help but smirk a moment, for despite what she thought of her Mei found Sakura quite attractive. She could tell from the look exactly what the other thought of her, however, so only said “Hello there Beautiful Raven, we’re done if you want to talk to him I believe… “ If she left though... at least that'd be one less innocent... |
Rosa smiled. " I bet he is okay!" Rosa assured her and then walked inside and went to where she had been sitting a while ago. there Rosa put some dust on the table and then appeared a wooden bowl and inside were some mint herbs since they help with memory. then she got some water and poured it in and waited for everyone for the final step.

Her eyes went to Mei and Jack as she stopped on the stairs and looked at her. "What did you call me?" Sikura had a friend when they were younger called her a raven. Even though she had black wings, she was still pure at heart. "Thank you, Mei. Sorry, I was angry earlier." She walked down the steps towards Jack and Mei.

Akio walked inside along with everyone and stood at the doorway to the patio. He wanted to know where Angil's brother was as well since they were best friends for so long and he didnt want to lose their friendship either.

She sat on the other side of Rose and waved at the Bartender to order drinks. both excitement and worry filled her.

Jack had frowned deeply, but didn't grace Mei with a verbal response. He had, however placed his hand over his masked lips again. Closing his eyes and inhaling deeply and letting that breath out in a deep sigh. His eyes open and his gaze flickered from Mei to the Angel and back again. She probably just wanted to come over and take that feather from him anyway.
