After putting the blood and milk in the blender, he looked at it with a bit of confusion feeling like he was forgetting lots of things. "OH!" he yelled out remembering the ice cream as he ran over to the freezer taking out vanilla and strawberry ice cream. Which would she rather have?.... Hikaru thought as he shrugged off the thought and just dumped two scoops of each into the blender and looked around for anything else he was missing. Once he had gotten everything into the blender, he smiled with a nod to himself as it blended together smoothly.

Her ears picked up the sound of the blender and smiled as she knew he would return to her soon.

After a couple of minutes had passed he finished the smoothies as he poured them into two glass cups and brought them up to the room. He slightly opened the door by pushing it open wtih his foot as he tilted his head seeing how seh was sitting on the bed waiting for him. "Miss me, love?" Hikaru asked with a little laugh as he handed her one of the smoothies.

Dawn nodded and took her smoothie from him. "Yes, I did." She said as she leaned up and kissed him before sipping her drink. "Very good, thank you."

Hikaru smiled sitting down next to her with his drink in his hand as he smiled softly. "I'm glad you like it...." he said with a whisper as he glanced at the tv for a moment than down at her stomach for a moment. I....I wonder if its true... he thought with a softer smile as he leaned over placing his head onto the side of her shoulder while looking at he tv.

She watched him put his head on her stomach as she smiled. Dawn watched him as she touched his cheek and sipped her smoothie. "Something wrong, love?"

He slightly looked up at her while his head was on her stomach as he smiled softly. "Nothing, deary." Hikaru said with a little whisper as he placed his smoothie onto the floor right between her legs.

Her eyes stay on him as she nodded and sips her smoothie. But little did they know that someone was looking for them.

He kept his head on her lap unaware that they were being watched as he closed his eyes a bit softly. After a couple of minutes though he reopened his eyes and picked up the smoothie on the floor and sipped it a little before looking up at her for a bit.

Dawn rubbed the back of his head as she smiled and looked back at the t.v. Suddenly, a man jumped through Dawn's front window and brought with it the chilly night air. The man wore black everything but carried silver weapons and other items to fight his enemies. "Time's up, Hikaru." He said as he threw down grenades of garlic powder.

When Hikaru saw the man appear into the room, his eyes widened as he looked down at the grenade for a second. "What the hell!?" he said as it exploded letting out a cloud of glaric smoke. "Damn!!!" he yelled turning over at Dawn wrapping his arms around her closely so she wouldnt take in the smell of the glaric. "Hold your brea--" right before Hikaru could finish his sentence he passed out on her with his skin slowly peeling off.

The frightened girl looked at the man as the garlic powder eruptted from the grenade. She covered her mouth as she started coughing and looking at Hikaru wrapped his arms around her. Dawn's body was covered by his as they laid there passed out.
The man walked up to them and carried them to his van and drove away. Leis of garlic around their necks to keep them from waking as he drove. |
Hikaru stayed passed out with Dawn in the van as they hit a couple of bumps, but for some reason no matter how much they flew up he never let his arms go from around her.

Her eyes stayed closed as his arms stayed around her unconscious frame. The van stopped at an abandoned castle not far from her home. But the windows were covered so it looked like no one would look for her there or look for anyone there. The man carried them in and locked them in separate rooms in seperate parts of the castle, even though it was hard to pull Hikaru off her. Before he left them he took off the garlic.

He woke up hours later in one of the towers of the castle as he slowly opened his eyes looking around the room he was in. "Wh-where am I?.." Hikaru asked himself as he contiued to look around, until he realized that Dawn wasnt around. "Dawn?!..." he asked quickly not getting an answer since they werent in the same room.

The man looked into the cell at the vampire as he smiled. "Look who's awake. You're little pet isn't here right now." He said as he spoke to the vampire through the door. "But if you're good I may let you watch her die." His voice broke into a laugh as he threw in photo of Dawn unconcious. But she did not remain unconcious for long. Dawn woke up in a room all by herself, far from where Hikaru was, tied to a chair with garlic around her neck that made her almost human again. "Hikaru?" Her eyes looked around for him weakly as she started to cry. "Hikaru..."

Hikaru looked down at the photo of Dawn being unconcious as his eyes widened in shock. "Let her go!!! At least let her go!!! Sh-s-she has nothing to do with this!!" he yelled with pure anger, struggling to get free from the chair he was sitting on.I have to get free!!!.....I,....I need to find her!!!!

He looked at Hikaru struggling and tossed a crucifix at his feet to take more energy from him. "I can not have the lover of a vampire to live. She may seek revenge once I kill you. So I will dispose of her first." The man said as he walked away from the door. She sat in her chair and cried as she worried about Hikaru and what would become of them. The powerless vampire could only look around for him.

When the crucifix landed in front of him, his eyes widened as he suddenly felt extremely weak inside. Dammit!! Hikaru thought trying to move a few of his mucles, but couldnt since everytime he tried to move the crucifix seemed to begin to drain even more of his energy, at a faster pace.

Her eyes opened as she heard someone walking towards her cell door. Dawn looked up with tears on her cheeks as the man looked at her through the small barred window. "I see your awake, little bat." His low voice hurt her ears but she just looked up at him weak and unsure what to do. "What do you want with me? Where's Hikaru?!" She demanded as he threw a sharpened cross into her shoulder and caused her to cry out. The young vampire hung her head as the cross drained her of more energy. "I want to torture Hikaru for as much torture as he brought to me. Therefore, you're deeply involved, my dear." The man left with her screams of pain on tape to reply over and over for Hikaru's torture.

He kept struggling in the chair as his energy kept lowering quicker and quicker. The vampire didnt seem to care even if it meant his life to get Dawn free from whoever this hunter was. I have to get free!!! C-come on!!! B-b-body!! move!!! Hikaru thought as he finally ended up making the chair fall onto the floor with him still in it. Oh.....t-t-this is just perfect!! he thought sarcastically.

The man looked in at the helpless vampire and laughed at him. "Did you escape plan fail?" He asked as he held up a looped tape recording for Dawn's screams for him. "You better hurry. She's losing blood and the energy to keep lving." His eyes narrowed on Hikaru as he left the tape recorder there to torture him more.

When he heard the screaming from the tape recorder, his eyes widened as he bit down onto his lower lip with his fangs. Dammit!!!! I....I need to get free!!!! Hikaru thought, sqarming and twisting even more then before as his eyes began to give off a darker glow of red thinking that he'd be too late to save Dawn. "Dawn!!!!" he yelled as loud as he could as he couldnt feel a little that the ropes that tied his hands were breaking just slightly behind him.

Dawn's eyes opened as she sat there with her shoulder bleeding. "Hik-Hikaru.." She said softly as she heard him say her name while it echoed throughout the castle. Her eyes started to close as she soon fell unconcious.His eyes went to Hikaru as he heard the ropes breaking and growled. The man tossed in another garlic grenade and more crucifixes. "Damn you, Hikaru. I shall get my revenge on you for what you did to me."

As Hikaru saw the gralic grenade and multiple crucifixes land in front of him, his eyes widened as his energy began to drain even quicker then usual as he started to cough up more blood. He looked up at the man as he bit down onto his lower lip causing it to bleed a bit. "Wh-w-who are you..." he said with a weakened tone trying to stay concious.
