She watched Hikaru jump out infront of her. Her eyes went wide as the leader said he wanted to marry her. "Please, stop yelling." Dawn said as she looked at the men. "I will have to think about your offer, Diago. Give me till tomorrow night to think, please."

Daigo sat there in thought as he crossed his leg over the other. "Fine...tomorrow night! I will be back. Lets go!" he ordered everyone of the vampire clan memebers to disappear and thats exactly what they did. Hikaru stayed with Dawn as he turned around looking at her worried about what she was thinking. "Dawn.....wha-what will you choose?"

Dawn looked up at him and smiled as she closed her eyes. "I have no choice. If I say no, they'll punish you. Besides, I'd get to live forever with you." Her lips brushed his cheek as tears formed in her eyes.

Hikaru looked at her with worry in his eyes. "Dawn...you dont understand...Once Daigo marrys you......I can never be with you.." he said with a tearful voice. He really wanted to confess his love for her but couldnt find the words for it.

Her eyes stayed on his as she felt like the world had shattered. "What?" Dawn fell onto the couch, ready to cry. "But...that's not fair." She looked at the floor and started to shake a little.

He walked over towards the couch and sat down right beside her, as he sat there he took his hand and put it on her chin to raise up her face so he could look into her eyes. "Dawn...please dont cry..." he said with a quiet yet gentle voice.

She looked at him as a tear rolled down her cheek. "But...I don't want to leave your side." Dawn rested her hand on his thigh as she moved closer to him.

As he felt her hand on his thigh he took his hand away from her chin and wrapped his arms around her. "I dont........ want to leave you either....." Hikaru leaned his head over to her cheek and kissed her down towards her neck, but strangly even though he was doing this his lust for blood didnt activate.

Dawn blushed as she looked at him and closed her eyes. Her arms wrapped around his waist as she tilted her head for him. "Hikaru..." She said softly as she looked at him.

As Hikaru kissed her, he started to form tears in his eyes as they came down his cheeks they seemed more like blood tears rather then actual 'normal' tears. Being a vampire he wasnt exactly able to do anything a human should in a normal life. "D-Dawn.................I...............I love you." he said with a quiet voice with his tears still coming down his cheeks and his head at her neck still.

Her hands rubbed his back and the back of his head as she smiled. "I love you, too, Hikaru." Dawn held him to her as she tried to soothe him.

He kept his head on her shoulders and near her neck as Hikaru closed his eyes as he smiled with with slight joyful tears coming down his cheek even if they were blood tears rather then normal ones.

She smiled as her hands cupped his face and she wiped his tears. Dawn looked at his blood on her finger and licked it.

Hikaru saw as Dawn liked the blood on her finger from his blood tears, his eyes widened a bit when he saw her do that. "D-Dawn?........." he asked as he began to slightly smiled a bit as he tilted his head. "How very......vampire-like of you, deary." he said with a slight chuckle under his breath.

Dawn blushed as she looked into his eyes and smiled. "I want to be like the one I love." Her lips met his as she touched his cheek. She knew he was confused about her licking up his blood but she wanted to be with him. Even if she had to change.

Hikaru gasped a bit hearing Dawn wanting to become just like him. "Dawn.....I.....I cant do that, not to you...." he said with sadness going through himself. "Trust me Dawn......becoming what I am.......its....its a life of torture..." he said as he looked at his hands then at the ground. "I dont want you to go through the samething."

Her hands went to his as she looked at him. "Then what do I do? I either become a vampire or a vampire's meal. I doubt I'll be alive either way much longer..." She said softly as she squeezed his hands.

He looked down at her hand touching his as he began to frown deeply. He slowly looked up towards her eyes as he leaned over and kissed her on the lips. "I promise you.....I wont let them hurt you......I cant do it to you.....not unless I have to." he said with a whisper into her ear.

She nodded as she kissed him back and rubbed is chest. Her arms stayed around him as she wanted him always by her side. "Thank you. I love you, Hikaru."

Hikaru began to raise his arms up as he hugged Dawn tightly to his body and smiled gently. "I love you too, Dawn." he said as he began to graze her hair down her back.

Dawn hugged him back as she smiled and kissed his neck. Her eyes closed as she rubbed his back, too.

He sat on the couch with her as he hugged her still grazing her hair down her back. "Oh Dawn.....I just remembered something." as he smiled and tilted his head over to the side.

Her eyes went to his as she looked at him. "D-did I do something wrong?" Dawn touched his cheek as she seemed worried. She wanted this to work, whether she died or not.

He gave a slight bit of laughter as he leaned over still holding her close to his chest and kissed her deeply on the lips. "That one was for the bet we made, remember?" he said as he backed his face away from hers by only a few inches that their lips were just nearly touching. "You said if we didnt reach your house before sunset....I'd owe you a kiss."

She smiled and nodded as she kissed him back. Dawn rubbed his chest a little as she looked at him. "I'm glad you didn't forget."
