Her name is Salem Winchester.
She is called Salem though.
She is 17 years old.
A little about Salem:
Salem is the bass guitarist for Shoot Star. The fame has really gotten to her and she sees herself as a goddess on earth though she has not always been like this. She's travelled with the other 2 girls for years and has formed a tight bond with them. It was her initial idea to go back to school. Salem seems to just be a mirror; a reflection of what the world wants to see her as and nothing more. Empty inside, she knows greed and fame and no longers remember who she used to be. She is a prankster around the girls, but that is all, they are the only people she trusts and the only people she will confide in. The life of fame has tainted her with it's 'you are ever important' policy and the lack of trust that goes with it.
She wasn’t always like this, no. Salem used to be the girl that would talk to anyone about anything. She was never afraid of doing anything just because people thought she was weird for doing it, in fact, that was more insentive for her to do it. She may seem cruel and heartless now, but only her friends now the quickest way to her heart, animals, especially babies.
As a child Salem’s dream date had always been to go horseback riding and then have a picnic near the pond with the waterfall that was in the woods behind her house before they left for fame and fortune.

Salem woke to an annoying beeping sound in her ear. It was the first time since as long as she could remember that she heard it. She pulled her blankets off her head enough to be able to glare at a clock that read '5:45'. Why on earth did she was to go back to regular school? Well this was a bad idea, she thought to herself. Ignoring the beeping, she pulled the blankets over her head again in an attempt to fall back to sleep. It seem that just as she did that her mother came in.

"Salem sweety, it's time to get up," she said in that false caring mother tone. Truth was Salem could tell her mother was satisfied by her so far hatred of 'the real world'. She wouldn't let her mother be that satisfied this early on.

"Fine," she mummbled. "Are Tenshi and Lyna up yet?" She asked her mother as she pulled herself out of bed and over to her dresser.

"No clue," her mother said as she left, defeated for now. Salem shook her head and looked in the mirror above her dresser. She had a serious case of bed head. Lovely, she thought as she slammed her dresser drawers shut before then going to her closet. After grabbing her clothes she went to take a shower to wake her up. They'd have to walk to school, she didn't really care for that idea.

Once she was done and dressed in her short skirt and black shirt (pic, just not showing undies XD)) she went downstairs for breakfast. It was prepared. She was not liking this one bit. After stubbingly around the kitchen for about 10, 15 minutes she finally had her bowl of cereal and glass of orange juice. Sitting down at the table she started eating as she waited for her friends to get down there.

Lyna woke to a really high pitched beeping noise near her head. She couldn't remember what the noise was until she opened her eyes to see an alarm clock. She sat up and glared at the clock and picked it up, chucking it out the open window. Why the f*** did we want to do this, she thought as she got out the bed. Salem's mother walked in to see if she was up yet, she turnned her head towards her and glared.

"Salem is waitting for you in the kitchen," she said in a fake i really like you tone, but Lyna knew she hated her guts and just put up with her because she was in a band with Salem. "Yea, well go away i don't need you breatheing down my back." witch she didn't say the last part out loud but she thought it to her self. Salem's mother walked out of the room saying rude things under her breath about Lyna.

Looking at the mirror she saw that her hair looked like a bush of pink, she sighed and turnned her flat iron on. The flat iron was ready for her to use after she had gotten dressed in her, black combat boots, black kaprais, a pink tank top, pink belts and threw on her black and pink jacket with animal ears.
Once she was done ironning her hair she trompped down the stairs so Salem would know that she was comming. She went to the fidge and pulled out the cream cheese and heatted a bagle up.

"Yo, Salem......." she said in a why the hell did we want to do this type voice. She sat down next to Salem and began to eat her food after she got a cup of coffee to drink with it. She noticed that Tenshi wasn't down ther yet, she looked over to Salem. "I see Tanshi is sleeping in again." she said bluntly like she was stateing a fact not a question to her.

Salem chuckled a bit hearing Lyna practically destroying the house as she came down the stairs. It was hard not to guess who it was. Lyna seemed to love making her presence known. That and she often did that when Salem's mother ticked her off. "Mmm, looks like it," she said as she ate the cold meal before her. "How on earth did you find your food so quickly?" She asked flabberghasted, "It took me forever to find this stuff. And let me guess, mommy dearest was just ever so nice to you this morning?"

"I told dearest mother that if i couldn't find my food in the morning i was going to quit the band. Your dear old sweat mother didn't want that to happen of course. She was just 'lovely' to me this morning by cussing me out under her breathe again. Oh i need to pick up another alarm clock, and no i didn't break the window again." Lyna said non-chalantly as she got another cup of coffee, she looked at the calender and noticed that Salem's birthday was comming up soon. "What are we going to do for your birthday, Salem?" she asked as she sat back down and leaned back in her chair, Salem's mom walked in at that time and glared at her. Lyna just gave he a smug look and started to rock back and forth in the chair. She was having a good time pissing off Salem's mom even more. Lyna's mother walked in and looked at her, she shrugged her shoulders at her mother and continued to do what she wantted to do, not caring that her mom was going make her sufer for it later.

"Morning mom number 2!" Salem said rather cheerfully at Lyna's mom. She ignored her mom though, it was always best. She was the most unpleasant out of all the mothers. Her father though, he was nice, just always worked. He never wanted this for Salem. She then looked back to her best friend and practically sister.

"So that's what hit the bushes huh?" She said with a chuckle. "It's a good thing you didn't take out the window this time. I don't think our parents would like that. Who knows, they might not care since it's our home this time and not the hotel or bus." She expected the conversation between Lyna and her own mother to be much as it was. It almost became a routine.

Salem had finished her cereal and pushed the bowl away, then tipping her chair onto its back two legs she took another drink of her orange juice. "And about the birthday thing, no clue yet," she said staring into the glass. "Why don't we go to a club or something? I'm only gonna turn 20 once," a smirk came to the girl's face as she rolled her eyes up to her friend to look at her.

Chris yawned and woke. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and got up out of bed. He took a shower and adorned his usual leather and punk outfit. He sighed heavily as he gathered up his papers from his desk and stuffed them into his backpack, which was black with his curling design in silver sharpie all over it. He then trotted down the stairs and looked around. His foster parents were probably still out working at the club... So he walked into the kitchen and made himself some bacon and drank his one glass of milk in a big gulp. He had to get to school early today, guitar lessons of course. Though he preffered his drums he had made a comitment to try all band instraments. Guitar, bass, drums, and had even given singing a shot... Yeah that wasn't going to happen again. He then sat at the table finishing up some homework. Calculus. Ugh. But he got threw it and then bolted out of the house hearing his foster parents coming. He didn't like them because they tried smothering him all the time. So his plan of action, run for the hills when ever possible!

"Good morning, Dear." Mrs. Lunair said in her kind voice as she kissed Salem on top of the head, and went to get her self some breakfast. Lyna just looked at her mom and smiled, turnning her head back towards Salem she grinned some more.

"Yea, that is what hit the bushes, i doubt i would get off lightly even though it is our home if i broke the window. Good thing i left the window open last night. Yea maybe we can sweet talk some guys into free drinks." She said as she laughed at the thought of her friends flirtting to get drinks. She let her chair hit the floor, and leaned forward on her elbows. She looked about the kitchen and sighed.

"If Tenshi isn't going to come down here soon i am goin to go to town and buy a new clock just to throw it at her." Lyna said as she got up and openned the fridge and stuck the cream cheese back in it and pulled a 20 oz of mountain dew out and a bag of skittles.

"Haha, that sounds like fun," Salem said as she too thought about what they could do that night. "Gah, why am I so old though," she whinned as she let her chair fall onto all fours again. It hit the ground quite loudly, followed by her head to the table. She wasn't fond of being the oldest, it made her feel old.

"Be careful if you do that though," she said into the table about the clock idea. "She might want to get you back somehow and who knows how she'll do that." She then lifted her head enough so that her chin was now propped on the table. "She knows where the school is, we've been there many times already. If she takes too long we could just head out without her." Salem's mind then drifted off into space again, "Or we could just skip."

As Night walked to school he headed straight for the band room. He met his teacher and sat with the electric guitar in hand. He began playing the piece he had been putting together and the middle aged man nodded his head and closed his eyes as he listened to Night play. "Its getting there Night." he said and he nodded not saying a word. His bright green eyes flashed and he took the guitar off his shoulder. "It needs something... Next lesson I'll tell you." he teacher said and Night began to leave. That's what he said last time. Sighing heavily Night left the band room and headed for his locker.

"The worst she can do to me is cut my hair off even then i will just dye hers bright hot pink.....don't forget i will be 18 three days after your birthday so technally your not really old. Yea we could do that........." Lyna said thoughtfully, Her mother looked at the two girls and gave them "The Eye". Lyna started to tap the table as she looked towards the stairs. She was getting agitated with waiting for Tenshi.

"Girls, you are not skipping today. You wantted to go to a normal shcool so that means no skipping." Mrs. Lunair said with a stren voice as she put thier bags on the table. She was a good mother and she made sure that the girls did what they said they were going to do. She cared alot about them, she wasn't there to exploit thier talents, just to make sure they do what is best for them. Lyna rolled her eyes at her mother and grabbed her black goat kid bag from the table.



Mat was up early, he had to feed the horse before he went to school each day. He grabbed his bag and walked out the door with out saying a word to anyone. The walk to school was pretty long for him, but he enjoyed the peace and quit before school started. He knew Night was there all ready praticing, he could never understand why he played but then again, it was Night's way of talking. He thought about everything, he heard that Salem was coming back but it could be another rumor started to get his hopes up. Everyone knew he liked her but he didn't care what they thought, before he knew it he was at the school heading towards his locker next to Night's, he wantted to hang out with him before school started for the day.

Salem sighed the wonder of why they were doing this was once again going through her mind. Pushing herself from the table to she grabbed her bag from the table and said, "Well tell Tenshi to hurry up and that we already left." She then looked at Lyna and gave her that look that said we're leaving. She walked to the door and slipped on her worn converse, the same ones that she wore to all of their concerts, before walking out the door. She didn't bother to see if Lyna was following, she would soon enough anyway. She just wanted to get the day over with and the longer they waited at the house the longer the day was going to last.

Night heard approaching feet and didn't even have to look up to know it was Matt. He stood up after grabbing a few books and looked at his approaching friend. He nodded in a hello and closed his eyes for a second. He was thinking about the rumor that Tenshi was coming back. He missed that girl. "Hey," he said softly in his deep rich voice. No one besides Mat ever heard him talk. And he liked it that way.

Tenshi rubbed softly at the bags under her eyes as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. How long had she been sitting there again? She finally blinked and slid her eyes over to the analog clock on her night table. Oh...she was late. A soft sigh slid from her slightly parted lips and she brushed a comb through her hair quickly, tying it into a low ponytail. She stood up and then brushed her outfit to smooth out the wrinkles. Today she had donned a pair of white cargo pants with black studded belts slung about her slim waist, over that was a white collared shirt with sleeves long enough to cover her hand and a black vest over that adorned with chains. She slid a pair of fingerless black gloves on and placed a cross necklace around her neck. Then she slid a cuff-chain-link earring onto one ear and a cubic cross earring onto the other. She picked up a pair of black framed glasses and placed them onto her face just as a knock resounded from her bedroom door. She hit the lights, casting her room into semi-darkness and pulled the door open, nodding a greeting towards her mother, "Morning 'kaa-san." she murmured in japanese and then walked over to the staircase. "Be careful today dear." Her mother called out after her as she practically floated down the stairs. A small smile crawled onto Tenshi's face and then she stooped to scoop up her white with blue accented messenger bag. After slinging that over her head she walked into the kitchen and nodded a greeting to the people in there before heading over to the fridge. She grabbed a pudding cup and then shut the door, grabbing a disposable spoon as she headed for the front door. She placed the spoon in her mouth and balanced precariously on one leg as she slipped her black converses on with one hand. That done, she left through the front door, letting it slam shut behind her. Now let's see if she could catch up with Salem and Lyna.

"GET UP ZACK!!! YOU'LL BE LATE!!" Zack's older sister shouted at him from behind his bedroom door.
"Five more minutes," he grumbled, hiding his head under the cool protection of a pillow. Rattling came from the door as his sister unsuccessfully tried to barge her way in. Zack chuckled quietly. Thank God for locks!
"Don't you want breakfast?" she asked threateningly.
"Curse you," he growled while sliding off of his bed and onto the floor with a thump. Rubbing his butt, he stood up and stumbled over to the dresser that was half buried in a mound of dirt clothes and underwear. Grunting, he managed to tug open the third drawer down. Grabbing whatever was on top, he slid the top one open. Grabbing the last pair of pants at the bottom of the drawer, he slammed both shut. Filtered sunlight made it's way through the blinds of the only window in Zack's bedroom as he stripped down and then got dressed.
"You look terrible, you know that right?" his sister questioned as he hopped up on the kitchen counter.
"Nope," was the apathetic answer.
After a hardy breakfast of bacon, waffles, scrambled eggs, and coffee, it was time for Zack to be on his way. "Bye sis, see ya laterz," he waved his hand lazily while using the other to swing his backpack on. Humming tunelessly, he stepped out of the front door and made his way to school.

"Tenshi, is here." Lyna said as she looked back over her shoulder, seeing that Tenshi was comming up behind them. She nudge Salem in the arm to get her attention. She knew that things were going to be interesting to day, guys driving by whistleing at them, she stopped in her tracks so Tenshi could catch up with them. She looked around, it has been a long time since she has been around here. She sighed heavily, it felt wierd to her to be back in this place but she ignored it. She hopped this day would end soon, she just wantted to work on a new song, or go play around with some guys feelings.

"Hey, Night. Do you think the rumors are true?"MAtt asked as he leaned against his locker and thought about Salem, he couldn't help but think about all the times she just went over to his house to take care of Starfire, he hoped her death wouldn't hurt her to much. He oppened his locker and watched everything fall out of it, some people walking down the hall saw it and laughed at him, he laughed to even though it happened all the time to him. he shoved all the firecrackers and man other things back into his locker after he shoved his back pack into it."I wonder if Zack is coming today or not?" Matt said asbsentmindedly as he turnned back towards Night, he could hear the 'popular' guys coming in talking about three hot girls that they saw walking down the road comming to the school. Mat sent a silent pray up to the havens that it was the girls from eight years ago.

"Morning." Tenshi murmured as she caught up to her bandmates, then she opened the top to her pudding and licked the pudding off of it before dropping it into the nearest trash can and proceeded to eat her pudding with the spoon. When the guys drove by Tenshi rolled her eyes slightly and then swallowed before smiling at her friends, "It's been a while huh? I wonder if anyone will remember us?" That was the only thing that bothered Tenshi about coming back here for school, would anyone recognize them from their younger years living here? How much will everyone have changed? Would their changes be as drastic as well...the girl's? She placed the last scoop of pudding into her mouth and then disposed of the empty pudding cup and spoon in the same trash receptacle as before. Then she stretched before settling back into a comfortable position.

Night leaned against his locker and shrugged. Could it be possible that Tanshi was coming back? When he saw Mat's stuff fall yet again he chuckled. It had been a long time since he so much as hinted at laughing. To him life was very serious. But it hadn't always been and he really missed those days. "Probably... I mean his sister wouldn't let him skip again..." he said evenly and shrugged yet again. But who knew? Zack had a way to ditch school, almost down to an art. He then watched as some guys walked by and his death stare made them shut up while passing him. He then grinned at Mat and rolled his eyes. He wouldn't pick a fight ever. Yeah he used to take karatie but he didn't hurt anything. Unless they really really asked for it. "I wonder if Tanshi..." he murmered ro himself and didn't finish the thought. He barely ever did.

"Yea......it has been a long while....." Lyna said saddly as she stared off towards the forest. She missed this place even thugh she won't admit allowed, she knew that the girls knew about it, she started walking again not paying attention to what was going on around her.

"Yea, your right about that. I thought he would at least show up to see if the rumors are true. Who know if the do remember us it has been eight years since we seen them last." he said as he pulled a bag of popits out his pocket and staarted to through them at random peoples' shoes. He looked over at Night, he knew that they had the same questions in thier heads but about different girls. He grinned when he heard Night chuckle, Mat was like one of the only few people who can do something so stupid and get e very serious guy to laugh at it just a little bit. He looked down the hallway when he heard the girls start talking about the bad boy that just walked in, he grinned, knowing they were talking about Zack. "Looks like he showed up after all." Mat said as he threw a handful at Zack's shoes and laughed when he almost jumpped out of his skin. Being stupid was almost like a god given talent to Mat, and he played it like it was still in style.

Night smirked and nodded. Zack had arrived, that was for sure. He then looked at Mat and shook his head chuckling. The guy was a complete idoit. But then again he and Zack did not seem like the crowd he would hang with... But they were odd like him and the only guys that seemed brave enough, or stupid enough, to talk to him. He then noticed some girls staring at Mat and whispering and rolled his eyes. Then hearing giggling he clenched his fists not even having to turn to know it was the big three. The most popular girls in school, and also the slutyest. They were the only ones who seemed to get under his skin and the air around Night seemed to get thick with hate as the girls walked closer.

"Well...no point in delaying any longer." Tenshi murmured, more to herself then her bandmates and pushed the front doors of the school open. She cast her sea-foam-green-esque eyes about for a moment, just taking in the look of the hallways. Wow, it had been a while since she'd last set foot in a proper school hadn't it? She opened the doors fully and then swept into a mock bow, smirking at her two dearest friends, "My ladies." she joked.

Night was glad that the big three didn't approach him and he was about to say something to Mat when the doors opened. His gaze snapped right onto the girl he had known eight years ago and his mouth nearly fell open. It was true. They were back. She was back! He felt his heartbeat quickening at the sight of her and he had to shake his head and take a double take. She had gotten so much more beautiful... He hadn't believed it was possible until he was looking at her now. "Tenshi..." he breathed praying this wasn't a dream and that she wouldn't dissappear in a flash and he would wake up.

Tenshi's eyes flashed and she straightened up, eyes darting about, she thought she had heard someone say her name. Maybe it was just her imagination playing tricks on her again? Quite a few people had stopped walking and quite a few of them were now gawking at the three girls. Maybe she shouldn't have thrown the doors open like that? "You think it would be too late to go home now?" she whispered to Lyna.

When the doors opened the halls went quit, everyone was staring at them, then it started the whispers of saying how the rumors are true Shooting Star is going to school here. Lyna laughed at Tenshi and pushed her playfully, Salem was quiet, probable lost in thought, people started to crowd them and saying how good it was to see them again and that they were best friends before they were famous and how they were such huge fans. Lyna rolled her eyes as the students talked, she heard it all before, some random guy came up and asked her out. "Honey, i am a little to wild for you to handle." Lyna said as she flirtted with the guy, she could almost hear Salem and Tenshi roll thier eyes at her as she said that, she pushed through the crowd until she reached the door to the office. "There is no turnning back now......" She said as she shoved the other two girls in the office and shut it before any of the students could come in behind them.

Mat grinned when he saw the Popular girls in school behind Night, then his grin slipped off his face. NIght and Zack knew him, they knew that few little things could get him to stop smiling. He saw her, Salem, she had changed so much since eight years ago, the rumors were true they had come back."They came........" He said in a shocked surprised face, he knew that Zack, and Night were staring at them also, thinking the same thing he was, he looked at both of them, not knowing what to do or say, they were swarmed by fans and wanna be friends. Mat turnned away from them, he knew there was no point in approaching them right now. Mat knew that the hate that had been coming off of Night had dissappeared when he saw Tenshi, things had gotten interesting for them.
