Night smiled and shrugged. "Its fine..." he said softly and kept walking. He then stoppped in his tracks as a raindrop hit his arm. He looked up and then looked back down at Tenshi. "You're arent still afraid of thunder and lightning are you?" he asked knowing that the rain was coming in mere seconds and lightning and thunder would soon follow by the looks of the clouds.

((wait esplain to me what just happened while i was cooking? what would ruin Mat's chances?))

((tenshi is calling Salem on her cell phone. And miss song replyed and is waiting for your reply.))

"Uhmm...not...sure?" Tenshi replied hesitantly once again. She was wondering what was taking Salem so long to answer her phone. "i haven't been in any thunder storms recently..." she trailed off as she noticed the clouds and squeaked slightly, hands clenching into fists while still holding onto the cloth of Night's clothes.

Night looked down at Tenshi and knew that she still was scared. "Dont worry... I'll get us to your house....' He said knowing that he had to get moving. It was already starting to sprinkle and the rain was gaining speed in falling. He shifted to having Tenshi on his backa nd looked back at her. "Hold on." he said and took off. H eran alot faster then most guys even with her on his back. But he had kept himself in perfect shape all these years. It was really paying off.

Tenshi nodded before burying her face into Night's back. She smiled softly to herself, with him by her side, maybe even the thunder and lightning won't be so bad. She tightened her grip on him slightly with one arm, the other still holding onto her phone.

((ehh....I really do apologize for this...post...))

Night kept running as the rain came harder and harder. This was the weather in their little town. Sunny one minute and a thunder storm the next. He totally ignored the dampness seeping threw his clothes and ran faster. He stopped seeing her house and then took off again as thunder crashed and lightning lit up the sky.

Another muffled squeak escaped from Tenshi's lips, right, still not over her phobia. Whoop-dee-doo, best time to figure that out. She knew Night was going as fast as he could and she r eally wanted to tell him not to push it, but she knew if she opened her mouth only noises, squeaks, if anything, would come out.

Night heard the squeak and he clenched his teeth. He wasn't going to let her be scared. He was going to make it to the house before the next thunder and lightning hit. He literally jumped the damn fence of the neighbor's yard, taking a short cut threw the yard, and landed in her yard lightly. He grabbed the door and wrenched it open and was inside just before there was another flash and crash. His breathing was labored and he gently set Tenshi down. But before he could say anything his chest seemed to tighten and his breath came in gasps. Not again. The doctors had said it was gone. But he had over done it. And his heart condition wasn't going to let him get away with it. He fell to his knees fasping for air as his chest tightened more. The pain was horrible and it burned within his chest like a bonfire being fed gasoline.

After Night placed her down Tenshi scrambled up quickly, dropping her phone as she grabbed onto Night's shoulders. Something was wrong. "no...no..." She didn't know what to do. tears fell from her eyes as her hands fluttered about uselessly, her and her stupid fears. "What do I do..? What...?" her hands shook and she helped Night lean back against the wall, no, she had to do something, there wasn't enough time for her to call an ambulance..."No..."

NIght clutched at his chest as she made him sit against the wall. Pain was apparent in his features but he couldn't speak. He coudl barely breath, but he didn't want her worrying. "Its fine... Just pain..." he gasped and he began getting dizzy from the lack of air. His eyelids fluttered close and he crashed to the floor out cold and slowly his chest began to relax and after a few minutes his breathing became regular again though he didn't wake.

Tenshi couldn't help the tears that continued to stream out of her eyes, he was hurting so much...because of her... "Ah!" She quickly moved to catch Night before he hit the floor, wincing slightly when she scratched her arm on the corner of one of the compartments. She ignored her wound and moved his head so that it rested on her lap. she ran her fingers softly through his hair and pressed a light kiss to his forehead and then another one on his cheek before pressing one to his lips. Then she reached over and shakily picked up her phone again, once again dialing Salem's number and hoping with all her heart that her friend would pick up as she cradled Night's head with her free hand. She didn't even notice the lightning or the thunder wreaking havoc just beyond the open front door.

((hehe cant really reply.... Night's gonna be out cold for awile from his heart desease.))

"Well....i was just very depressed since you left and for about two years i didn't want to hear or do anything that reminded me of you......i was.....hurt, in pain about everything. we talked once since you left and we had an arguement, that was when i went out ridding on Star Fire. She was pregnent as you know, it was rainning, she slipped ddown a trail, got badly hurt and i was laid up in a hospital for a month. It was my fault your horse died and i came close to dying myself. When i heard the vet tell my parents that it was a miracle that she lived long enough to give birth.....well i named her, Angel Star. I am sorry Salem it was my fault your horse died......i should have died in that hospital like the doctor's said i should." he said knowing that she was uncomfortable with him admitting what he wantted to do with her. He kissed her back when she kissed him, but speaking about that dark time in his past made him get depressed again. He laid there, his arm around her, his other over his eyes, he couldn't look her in the eyes. That day.....about four years ago, she had called hiim out of the blue, he was excitted, thinking she was going to come and see him. It didn't turn out like he thought, she said something, he was beggin her to come and see him, she started to yell at him, he yelled back, she said something mean, vicoius, and bitter, and hung up on him. It hurt him badly, he saddle her horse, rode out even though he knew it was dangreolus to do it in the middle of the night durring a storm. A rattle snake had spooked Star Fire, she made a move, they went falling down the muddy slope. Star Fire's leg was broken and a few of her ribs. Matthais, well he hit his head pretty hard, broke a few ribs, and his leg was broken. He was lucky that Night was going down the trail to go to his house, if he hadn't, Matthais would have sied, Star Fire would never had had Angel Star. Matthais had even had phnuemonia, he was very lucky to be alive just like Angel Star.

((I can still play sports but track and cross counry are out of the question. And plus a good thing is they predict I'll out grow it in a few years with my work out habits.))

((I had a heart murmur since I was born so I know how that feels, it's healed up or at least that's what I've been told. I didn't let it slow me down, though I regretted it big time when I pushed myself. It wasn't that bad so in a sense I don't get it ^^;; I hope it gets better for you though!))

Salem's brows furrowed as she listened to Chris. Was it really his fault that her horse had been killed? No, and while she was upset about it she couldn't blame him. "Don't say that Matt. If you weren't here with me right now I don't know what I would be doing or who I would be at this point," she said as she place a hand on his cheek hoping that it would help relax him. Salem always believed that things happened for a reason, but there was one thing that she was curious about.

"I called you?" She asked as she tilted her head to the side. "What did we fight-" Her question got cut off by a little jingle tune that came from her phone as it vibrated, threatening to throw itself to the floor. Pulling her body across his more, she reached out and grabbed the small device. It was Tenshi. Hitting the green button she placed the phone to her ear and said, "Yes Tenshi dear? Is everything alright?"

Tenshi sobbed even louder when she heard Salem's voice, "Salem I don't know what to do..." Night still hadn't woken up and Tenshi was getting worried. "I didn't mean for...he just....I need help..." She choked out, it seemed forming coherent sentences was beyond her abilities by now. "please..."
