((Night: *folds arms over his chest* And you weren't thinking that at all? *looks at Matt with knowing look*))

Night nodded and walked into the bathroom. He shut the door and stripped out of his drenched clothes. He wiped himself down with the towle and began ringing his clothes out in the tub with the towle wrapped around his lower half. It was almost amazing how much water came out of his clothes. He had to wonder why they had dressed up like guy but he would ask later...

((Mat: Well yes only with Salem and me in mind though.....we did get interruptted when Tenshi called us))

Eventually Tenshi came up with a few pair of pants and a t-shirt that may or may not have been thrown at them during the show... right moving on. She carefully placed those to the side before shoving all the extra boxes neatly into the closet again ((is that even possible? shoving neatly?)). She knocked on the bathroom door and then placed the clothes on the floor, "I'll be in my room." she called out and then retreated to said room.

Night called okay to her and then open the door once hearing her footsteps no more. He grabbed the clothes and then shut the door again. He pulled on the baggy jeans and the white tee and looked at himself. He didn't remember ever wearinf white before. This was different. He shrugged and dried his hair with the towle and then walked to her room. "Hey the clothes worked perfectly." he said reasuringly and smiled.

Salem sighed when Matt said how he had to get the horses in. She knew he had to but she was hoping that they could have at least ridden back together or something. She let Angel Star's reins fall to her neck as she just let the horse lead them back home. She lay back on her, seeing as her walk was slow enough. "And Matt said you didn't like water," she said to herself as she got more and more wet.

Lightning then lit up the sky and Salem decided that it would probably be best to get Angel Star back to the barn before things got too bad. That and the horse jumped pretty bad. Sitting up she grabbed the reins and urged the horse faster. She picked up to a trot then a slower canter as they raced back to the barn.

The rain started picking up and it was getting harder and harder to see, but the horse kept a level head. Salem could see the light of the barn ahead and rode towards it. Once inside she noticed Matt and quickly slid off the horse. She didn't take the reins off or anything yet, just ran to the boy.

"Matt, Matt!" She said as she came to a stop and knelt behind him. She lifted his head onto her lap, her hand on the side of his face. "Matt, come on Matt wake up," she cooed as her hand checked his temp before stroking his face once again. She obviously didn't know what happened so she didn't know how serioud everything was or wasn't.

Tenshi looked up sleepily from where she had buried her head under her blanket. She yawned into her hand and then smiled, sitting up again, "That's good." She pat the spot next to her and motioned for Night to come over.

Night smiled and nodded. He walked over to her and sat upon the bed. The shirt was tight fitting and showed his muscles but he wasn't complaining. "You should get some sleep." he said and stroked her head softly and his green eyes glewamed as he looked upon her angelic face. He kissed her cheek and smiled softly.

Mat groaned as he came to, he reached up and touched the back of his head, his eyes looked at Salem. "Ugh! Oh man.....Salem.....this must be a dream.....your not here......your....your in europe on tour. You ended us.....you aren't real." He was convincing himself that this wasn't real, that it was all a dream. He sat up, moving away from her, he had hit his head so hard to the point that he remembered only when her and the band was in europe on tour. Well he remembered everything before that, but he didn't really remember anything after it. He was rubbing at the back of his head where he had hit it at, lightning struk again, then he just got up and started to take care of the horses and closing the barn doors. He wasn't avoiding Salem but he was determined it was all a dream and that she wasn't real, he kept cglancing at her as if to see if she was going to dissappear on him.

"What are you talking about?" Salem asked confused as she stood up. She watched his movements around the barn, this was quite odd. "Matt, I'm right here and the Europe trip ended months ago." She then moved and started following him, yet all he did was glance at her every now and again. "Do you, not remember me coming home?" She asked, her brows furrowed slightly together as she tried to study his profile. She didn't know what to do, how was she going to try to help him when she didn't even know what was going on? This must have been similar to how Matt was feeling when she had returned, except he hadn't been away for 10 years.

Matt stopped what he was doing and turnned completely towards her, he looked at her like he was seeing a ghost. "Your not really here. I am dreaming.....you told me that you would never come back to me again. So if you did come back then why?" his voice matched how he looked, he didn't even move to touch her or anything else that he had done for the past two days with her. He had hit his head hard enough that well, it is obvious by the way he was actting that is was pretty hard, he rubbed the back of his head absently. They could still hear the rain and thunder out side the barn, it wasn't the frist time he had hit his head but it was the frist time that he didn't believe what he was seeing or hearing. He just stood there, staring at her, looking her over, trying to see if she was a ghost or not.

Salem took a breath before stepping closer to Matt. It hurt her that he wasn't remembering and from the look in his eye he was serious. "Matthias Wyeth," she said, her voice serious, as she placed a hand on his cheek. "We've returned from tour and are back to finish off the school year. Matt, I'm really here." Her eyes were sad, almost like it hurt her that he didn't remember her, mainly because it was. He was her last link to who she was and after being with him again, everything just felt right. She ignored the raging storm, she loved the weather and it usually calmed her. She was kind of hoping it would be on her side somehow too.

“You can‘t be……you said you weren‘t coming back.” he said to her as he backed away, thunder struck again and Soot freaked out. He reared up, knocking Matt into a wooden pole near by, knocking him out again.

Salem jumped at Soot's reaction rather than the thunder. She instantly went to Matt though, her hand smoothing his hair as she said, "Maaaattttt." She pulled him onto her lap, his upper body at least. She craddled him there, she wasn't sure what else to do at that point other than craddle his head to keep it from getting damaged anymore.

"Still getting hurt though I see," she said to herself as she leaned against the pole that Matt had hit. She sighed though once she was resting. Why did I say I wasn't coming back? She thought to herself, she remembered he had said it before, but the fact that she didn't remember even now frustrated her.

Matt groaned again as he started to come to, he began to rub at the back of his head. He openned his eyes and looked up at Salem, he gave her a stupid grin. "Hey....Sweetheart...why the long face?" he was actting like normal around her, he would have asked her what happened but he guessed from the feel of the back of his head and the splitting headache he had that he either fell from the loft of hit his head on something again. He stayed in her lap, enjoying the view of her chest being bigger then it was normally but he didn't blush to let her know that that was what he was looking at.

"Oh thank god," Salem said in relief as she embraced Matt. "I thought you had forgotten me coming back." She wanted to cry over the fact that he had remembered, but that would have been silly. After all, he hadn't cried when she returned to him, but then again she wasn't too sure about that at the same time.

Pulling away she finally asked the question that had been plaguing her mind for a while. "What did I say that day? On the phone to you that made you think that I wasn't coming back?" Her brows furrowed, she was truly bothered by this. It was like the biggest missing puzzle piece and it was right in front of her face, just out of reach.

"Why would i ever forget you comming back to me?" he said to her with confusion clear on his face. He tried to remember what she was talking about but couldn't come up wit anything. He shrugged and pushed the thought out of his mind, then her next question hit him like a ton of bricks. He turnned his head away from her and his face and eyes went blank. "It was something about how the band was your life and you found some rocker you were going to be with and how this stupid little town and everyone in it wasn't even worth your time and i was the biggest mistake of your life." he whispered to her, his voice was void of emotion as he said it, he knew if he didn't block out emotions he would break down crying and it wasn't something that men do. He didn't look at her, he had told her what she wantted to hear, he told her everything that he could remember besides the accident, it was just the gist of the conversation that he told her but it was all he could remember of it.

That day came back to Salem in a cold wave. Her mouth opened slightly as she felt the heat drain from her body. She had completely forgotten about that, though that was no surprise. At that time she hadn't thought that they were ever going to come back to the town, it was so long ago. "Oh god, Matt I'm sorry," she said nearly at a hushed whisper. That wouldn't make up for it though, she knew that.

She could remember almost every detail of that day. They were all at some big record party and she had met some guy, oh but what was his name? Tony? Trevor? Well, that didn't matter, not anymore. Anyway, she was slightly on the tipsy side when she had met the guy and she thought that this guy was something special. Yeah, he was special alright, about as special as vanilla ice cream. He had promised her a lot if she had done what she did to Matt that day. Of course not seeing her childhood sweetheart in so long she didn't see the harm in it. But he didn't do anything he promised and hse was mad about that, not so much that she had hurt Matt but that this guy had lied to her. It was completely different now. She wished she had never had met that guy, heck, she wished that she had never been a part of 'Shooting Star' anymore.

"It doesn't matter now, Salem. Your back and that is all that matters to me." He whispered as he sat up and took her into his arms, he was just happy that she was back and with him. He kissed her lightly on the lips, guiding her to lay down as he was moving them. He was going to offically forget about that day and he was going to make Salem forget also.

It did make Salem feel better that Matt didn't seem all that bothered by it anymore, but with that thought she wondered what they really had meant to each other before she had left. The current situation wasn't really allowing her to ask. Once she was lying down she smiled at him saying, "Now that you have me here what do you intend to do?" She was partially teasing him, but she was curious as to what he was going to do.

"Well....I plan to......get a head start." he said between every kiss he placed on her neck, when he said get a head start, he took of running for the house, he was dirty, she was dirty. They were both soaking wet, the horses were all taken care of and well he wantted to get dried and clean. He didn't even bother to look back to see if she was following him, he ran as fast and hard as he could, then he finally made it to the porch and he stopped running to catch his breathe.

"Gah, such a tease," Salem said to herself as she sat up and watched him run. She couldn't help but laugh thinking that she would let him win this one time. Once he was part of the way to the house she got up and started running. Once outside she was re-aquainted with the lovely droplets of water that were falling so closely together from the sky. Once her feet started hitting the wood porch she felt them slipping. Why does this seem too familiar, she thought as she tried to stop herself. That didn't really happen, she ended up colliding with Matt, falling to the hard, wet ground. As soon as the initial shock of the fall passed she just lay on top of the male's back laughing.

"Now, why is it that when it is rainning i always seem to win and end up spralled out on the floor with you clinging to my back?" he asked her in a joking tone, but he was slightly serious, this always seemed to happen on a day like this. He started to laugh right along with her, he turnned over until he was on his back and she was laying on his stomach instead, he wrapped his arms around her, holdding her in place. He was actually suppose to be working on his new place but what did he care at the moment, as long as he had Salem with him nothing else mattered.

Salem laughed at what Matt had said even though he was turning over. "You're just lucky I guess," she said calming down, pulling a strand of hair behind her ear. "Oh, and I'll let you in on a little secret," she then leaned forward, her cheek resting against his, her mouth centimeters from his ear. "I let you win when it rains." She didn't move away after she had said that, she had found her new spot quite comfortable. She was laying with Matt and it was raining, could it get any better?
