Night watched Mat fail out of the corner of his eye and grinned. He couldn't help it. That guy was a total idiot. He chuckled and shook his head. "Thanks Mat." he said and returned to looking at the sky. There was no laughing though. As he stared at the sky he got lost in his wonder. Why had all three girls forgotten their best friends? He sighed heavily and closed his eyes. "Well since we were appointed guides are we going to go?" he said finally as he rested his hands behind his head.
|
Salem looked at Matt with astonishment, he knew about the amazingness of her pizza, or at least that she always got it? But how? She never told the media anything about it being her favorite. Before she could say anything he had run off and made a fool of himself. The dark haired girl looked over at Lyna and asked, "Are you sure that I'm not making a mistake in attempting to get to know him?"
|
"It can't hurt. You could just get close enough to him to get him to carry your books for you at the least." Lyna said as she chuckled at how stupid Matt was being, she leaned back until she was layng down and closed her eyes. She started to hum one of the songs that they had done out of habit.
"No problem man." Matt said as he walked back over to Salem and sat down next to her. He leaned back until he was comfortanle laying down. He watched her out of the corner of his eye, he couldn't help but smile stupidly at her. He hopped he surprised her with that little bit of infomation he said to her. ((i know it is short but i am bout to have writers block i think lol)) |
"Yeah, you're right I guess," Salem said with a sigh. She then looked back at Matt thinking, 'he was trying to cheer up a friend, how bad could it be, right?' But even she wasn't sure on that. He then sat, well more laid down next to her again. This was her chance to ask him.
The dark haired girl pulled another piece of pizza out of the box that still sat on her lap. She didn't eat it though, she just looked at it. "How did you know about the pizza?" She asked, her eyes never leaving the decidant food in her hand. |
After finishing her pizza, which had involved Tenshi not noticing anything happening around her, she cleaned up and blinked in surprise when she saw the boys. She tilted her head in confusion, "What did I just miss?" she mused aloud before falling flat on her back next to Night. She was probably getting grass and dirt stains all over the white clothes she remembered she was wearing, oops.
|
Night smiled slightly and chuckled. "Same as always... You never hear anything when you eat..." he said and looked at her from the corner of his eye. "Well Salem threatened Mat and set me off.... But luckily Mat's a good calmer and he stopped me from snapping..." he said and then frowned thinking about the jocks. "Then some jocks came but did nothing..." he said and then sighed heavily. he wanted to know how she was doing but he didn't ask. He didn't want to seem weird about wanting to know everything that had happened while she was gone.
|
"We used to order it when ever you came over. You got mad when ever Star Fire pulled your slice of pizza out your hand." Matt said as he chuckled from the memory, he hoped it rang a bell in her head. He turned on his side and looked at her, he could hear NIght talking to Tenshi, he wondered briefly what Zack was doing, probable just standing there. He chuckled at that thought, when he looked over at the others before turnning his head back to Salem.
|
Salem just stared at Matt for a few minutes, trying to think over what he said. That was the second time she had heard that name and she still felt just awful for not remembering who that was. She wanted to, she wanted to know what she was forgetting even if it was just for that name, Star Fire.
She looked over to Lyna and Tenshi saying, "Hey guys, I think I'm gonna pass on going into town if that's ok." She then looked at Matt saying, "If it's ok, I'd like to go to Matt's house with him now, rather than waiting for the end of the day?" She wasn't proud that she was actually trusting herself to this boy, but he seemed safe. Well, he wasn't acting like a crazy fan at least, even if wasn't exactly safe. |
"I don't see no problem with it." Lyna said as she yawned and readjusted how she was sitting, the feel of the sun was putting her a sleep and she was enjoying it.
"Cool, ma will be glad. She has been wantting to give you a pic of you and Star Fire."Matt said as he stood up and held his hand out to her to help her up off the ground. He waved at NIght and Zack, grinning stupidly as if this was normal for him. He hopped that comming to his house would help jog her memory of all the time they spent together. |
Rather than grabbing his hand, Salem stood up on her own. She wasn't going to give in that much. She had nothing to say, she couldn't think of anything to say so it didn't really matter. "So did you drive or something?" She asked him trying to get her mind off of other things. It was all so confusing, she didn't know who this Star Fire was, at least she couldn't remember. Whoever it was must've exsisted if Matt's mom had a picture of her with them.
|
Zack's stomach grumbled quietly as he walked over to Lyna. Hopefully it wouldn't get any louder and ruin his second attempt at talking with her. Plopping down a respectful distance from her, he rubbed the back of his neck while asking, "Hey Lyna? I was wondering, if your still into hiking, would you like to go hiking on this path that goes around the lake? It's new so..." he trailed off, already feeling stupid for asking.
|
"I walk to school, like always. It isn't as peaceful driving." Matt said as he chuckled when she asked if he drove to school. He was one of the few guys that prefurred to walk, he locked his fingers behind his head as they started to walk towards his house. He began to whitsle, not a really good tune though.
Lyna opened her eyes, and sat up. She looked at the boy who just asked her to go hikking with him. She glanced over at Tenshi and Salem, silently asking what she should do. "Do i know you?" she asked at last before answering his question, smiling at him. She looked him over carfully trying to figure out how he knows she liked to hike, only her closes friends knew that about her. She took her hair out of the ponytail she had it in and braided it instead. She had a bad habit of changeing hairstyles through out the day. |
{G-night guys ^^}
Sudden pain pierced Zack's heart. Not that it wasn't unexpected though. If Salem didn't remember Matt and if Tenshi didn't remember Night, then why did he think that Lyna would remember him. "You should," he answered, "we where best friends before you moved." They had been more than that, but he didn't mention it. If she couldn't even remember who he was then reminding her of the love they once shared would only scare her off. Make Lyna think that Zack was a creepy fan or stalker. |
((going to bed?))
"You do look familiar.......Oh i know you were that guy from music class." She said as she remembered where she saw him from earlier, but she knew she had seen him some where other than today but she couldn't place where from. She shooked the thought out of her head and smiled at him. "I wouldn't go hikking in this outfit but i have to go into town and get a new alarm clock. Unfortunatlly my last one had a ummm.........unfortunate accident with a bush." She said as she looked away from him, she couldn't help but feel like some how she was hurtting him. |
"Is that so..." Tenshi murmured sleepily. Lying in the sun with a full stomach was definitely a bad idea. Tenshi sat back up and stretched, yawning into her hand. Then she hopped to her feet and offered her free hand to Night, "Since it seems we're all ditching school, wanna come over early to get our work out of the way?"
|
Night looked up surprised and blinked at Tenshi's hand. But then a slow smile spread across his face and lightened his features. Taking her hand he stood and nodded. "Sounds wonderful..." he said looking into her eyes and then realized he was holding onto her hand still. He let her hand go and put his own hands in the pockets of his leather pants. "Lead the way..." he said softly.
|
Tenshi hadn't minded holding his hand, their hands had seemed to fit together nicely, kinda like two puzzle pieces, as cheesy as that sounded. She nodded absently and tehn strolled away, waving bye to Lyna, seeing as Salem had already left, and unknowingly ignoring whatever question Lyna had just asked her. As she walked, Tenshi hummed lightly, just a random tune that popped into her head that sounded strangely like "Two is Better than One" by Boys Like Girls ft. Taylor Swift.
((I am gonna go now, night loves~)) |
{I was going to, but suddenly I'm an insomniac so I came back lol XP}
Zack's heart had begun to beat faster when he heard Lyna say that he looked familiar but it slowed down, well plummeted actually, when she finished her sentence. "Well we wouldn't have to go now," he clarified. Smiling, he waved good-bye to Night. "Maybe your alarm's previous owner was Mat," he tried a lame joke, hoping that it would make her laugh. He had always loved her laugh, it made him happy. |
Night walked silently beside Tenshi and smiled hearing her hum. "Do you remember us singing when we were little?" he asked smiling at the fond memory. He then shook his head smirking slightly. He hummed along with her tune as they walked. His black hair sheilded his face from being seen and he could feel a blush rising on his cheeks at the stupid question. Of course she didn't remember.... He had to keep reminding himself that.
|
((lol it is okay i seem to be one too lol i feel bad for Zack though))
"Good, i need one that i can't throw out the window." She said as she laughed a little at the Mat comment, remembering how he seemed to fall or wreak eveything around him. She stood up and streatched, noticeing that her friends have left her alone all of a sudden. "So are you going to show a new girl around or are we going to stay her all day?" She asked completely forgetting that she didn't know his name, she smiled at him and pulled her goat kid bag on her back. |
{lol OMG, we should make a CLUB!!! 0.0 =D Feel bad for all of the guys! They all love the girls so much and they can't even remember them =c Do you think that something like this has ever happened in real life?}
Zack laughed. Knowing Lyna, she had probably found the constant, obnoxious buzzing of the clock annoying and thrown it out the window for that reason. "Oh, yeah. Let's get going," Zack lifted himself up before looking around. He couldn't remember seeing Matt leave. "Ditchers," he thought jokingly before turning to Lyna. "Where do you want to go first?" |
((it has happened to me lol))
"Well i swear i saw a mall around here." She said as she smiled at him laughing, when she heard him say ditchers, she couldn't help but laugh because she was just thinking that about her friends. She remembered for a brief moment that he knew her name but she didn't know his. "What's your name?" She asked, she wondered if she should flirt with him but he seemed different from all the other guys that she toyed with. She started to walk towards the town, a little lost in thought. |
{Really? Which where you? The one who forgot or the one who wanted to be remembered?}
"You saw it?" Zack asked, surprised. The mall here was so small, it took him a week to actually find it. "Zack," he answered simply, while walking beside her. Since the town was so small, you could walk in the opposite direction of a place and still end up there. |
((both actually lol that was one hell of a time lol))
"Well, being me you have to spot a mall no matter how small it is." She said as she looked over at him and smiled, she stopped walking for a moment and looked over towards the woods, then she actted like it never even happened and continued to walk on. "what do you do for fun, Zack?" she asked as she tried to make some type of conversation with him, she still didn't understand how he knew her. |
((O.o Well that certainly would be interesting huh XP))
Salem had looked back and shrugged in response to Lyna's question but more than likely the girl didn't see it. Rather than waiting for any sort of response from her, she folded the now empty pizza box and threw it in the first trash can she saw on her way to catching up with Matt. She had to jog for a couple seconds to finally end up walked beside him, her hands clasped in front of her. "So, um, how long is this walk going to be?" She asked and it almost seemed like she was trying not to be as mean as usual. She would watch herself for the time being. At least until she figured out who 'Star Fire' was. |
