or at least getting into one. my mom doesnt think ill be able to get scholarships and she said shes not about to pay for me to get into college -___-
so im pretty much afraid that my parents wont pay and ill have to hold off college for a couple of years until i save up for it but i dont think id be able to do that xP

Some Community College's have musical colleges within them. Like the one I go to, has a musical college within it. :D! I am not into music though, so I am getting a Graphic's Design degree. ^_^;

Anyways, I start college on Monday as well. I go on Monday's Wednesday's and Friday's. DX!

if i dont get into a good music college or at least get a 25,000 dollar scholarship (my mom said she would help pay if i at least get that much.my oldest sister got two scholarships that were above that amount so she told me she wants that much or more already paid for -____-) then i shall look at community colleges with good music programs xP

If you went to Miami-Dade, they have New World School Of The Arts. :D And wow... $25,000 dollars... that's a lot for a years worth of tuition. Maybe it seems like a lot to me, because I go to a "community college". Even though my college is considered a college now. :)

Hm... I hope you are able to go to the music college. Also, the FASFA is kind of unfair. :( Some parents are unable to pay for their kids college. Oh well, best of luck to ya'. :)

with 3 kids going into college i dont really know if they can pay for it, but my mom said she wasnt even gonna pay unless i get at least that amount -_______-
she offered to pay full price for my sister nicole just cause she wasnts to go to beauty school and my mom wants her to go to law school. :P

the only problem with a far away college is that my mom wants all three of us to commute since she doesnt want us to leave the house until shes dead and gone, cause she knows all of us wanna leave our house badly because of her -_____-

Man... You know the FASFA rules in state, your mom has no choice but to pay a little bit. :S It depends if you can get Financial Aid. Check with the college with that. You do have to give your parents information. Scholarships are kind of hard to get and to keep. So keep up the great grades to get the Scholarships. :angel:

If it's D's and C's you have, you need to bring your GPA up to higher than a 3.0 to get a full scholarship. :D! Depending on the state of course. ^_^;

after going to catholic school for a year my grades went down pretty badly but now that im back in public school i shouldnt have that problem :P

I have an interview at Family Video Sunday afternoon... interviews scare me *sigh* but on the bright side I'm up to my fifth koi suru bokun fanfic chapter... and trying to start another one (the former being written by the seat of my pants and the latter one having an extensive outline xP. I need to work on my original yaoi fic, I only have an outline for up to chapter four... Daio and Rinchi probably feel a bit neglected because of that...)

just wanted to pop in and say hi and give a mini update on why i haven't been around XD
so i went to anime evolution in vancouver, it was awesome and i managed to spend less money then i planned! while we were they we went to a amusement park called Playland, i have never been before and i went on my very first roller coaster!
I am also going back to school in september, I'm taking world religions of the east. It's twice a week and completely covered a scholarship i remembered i had laying in a box somewhere. I'm also planning on moving in with my boyfriend soon. We're hoping for the end of this month or at the latest for october. I have an apartment viewing on sunday XD i'm super nervous
