Sounds fun! I just came back from the parade downtown and am my parents' house. It's freezing in here though because they have a huge house. O.o

I missed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. [:(] I got up on time but I was busy getting ready and such.

It's warm where I am at, nice and warm for now. ^_^; I can't wait to eat the food my grandparents and cousins had cooked. I baked some cookies to bring to the dinner as well. [yes]

I don't know if the heater might help, Mystic, since I don't know about keeping warm during the winter. [:P] I'm in South Florida, so we only get harsh winters every now and then.

They are showing it repeated on NBC. I watched the Detroit Parade. It's a traditiion.

I never went so I decided to go the parade this year. Way too long to sit through but I can't sit in one spot for long. Kinda like one of those things that's fun to go to but not too sure I'd sit through it again. XD

I can't turn the heat up here. I started a fire because it's cold. XD I love the fireplace here too. One thing I do miss about this house.

Aw... I missed the first hour. I hope it repeats a third time. ^_^; If not, I tried. I'll just get a recap of the floats.

I've never been to the parade. Just watch it on t.v. At least it was a gorgeous day for the parade.

Oh I see. I never really seen a Fire Place in South Florida but in a few houses and they looked lovely. [:)] They also sold firewood in some stores at one point.

Anyways I don't think I could sit long for a parade either. So you're not the only one.

Yeah, it was nice and warm for the most part. That and free hot chocolate made me happy! I'm simple to please. XD

That's good. :) Free hot chocolate is always fun to have. ^_^; I remember Art Basel around some parts of Miami, they gave away free coffee and some free food as well. I kind of enjoyed it. Although would had enjoyed it a bit more if it was a class assignment. :S

Talk of food makes me realize I'm hungry.

Anywhere with free food makes me happy. XD I love food. haha.

I have to wait a bit before eating. I'm starving!
