Dessert: Yep! Produce is so expensive when I can feed myself, my sister, and both my parents with veggies for the season for under $50. Plus it gives me something to do and makes the yard look pretty!

I got a State park pass Friday so I really want to use that this year. :) I want to go camping. Already have one camping trip planned but it's out of state. Still should, be fun though!

I've never gotten to go camping.
Mom is way over protective, let's just leave it at that, lol.

Man! You don't know what you're missing! I love being outside and don't mind not having a proper bath/shower for a few days though. XD I'm excited because it's going to be in the mountains in Alberta, Canada. It's so pretty up that way and I never got a chance to go to any of the parks so my ex told me he's going to take me. :) He spoils me a bit still. XD

I do know what i'm missing, that's the problem, lol.
I wanna go, but mom won't let me...grr...

Yeah, been through that with him already and it didn't work but we do still love each other. :) The only thing I didn't care about being that far North is the winters. They can get pretty bad but the spring/summers are lovely up that way.

I like my winter really cold, so i'd be happy up there :D

Strange: Yeah, I enjoyed the spring and summer. There's really not much that way though except for oil fields and parks, which is part of the reason I moved.

Dessert: From one package of plants, which is 79 cents, I can normally get around $20-$30 worth of veggies through the season. It's a lot cheaper. This year I think I may have too many tomatoes though. XD

Kat: I had that happen with my girl scout troop before. XD Our tent got torn up pretty bad so we had to leave early.

I like sweet tomatoes myself. The bigger ones I'm not too found of. It depends on what you plant them next to too. Some plants do make them taste a bit odd, like garlic and onions. I tend to plant them on the other side of the garden from them. I found that Habanaro peppers make them grow weird too.

Really? fascinating... we had tomatoes in just a planter... does that mean you also need to be careful what type of soil you plant them in?
