What is that willard movie about? I think I remember hearing about it but I never saw it. It looks radical and he does look good in it

crispin is in the remake, it's some black and white old film, i haven't seen the original.
crispin does such a good fucking job in that movie it;s ridiculous.
it;s about a guy who lives with his dying mother, just him and her, he works at an office and his boss is a DICK HEAD, willard finds out there are tons of rats living in his basement and he makes friends with them, mostly socrates, the white one.
like socrates is his only and best friend and he "hates everyone but him"
socrates gets killed by his asshole boss because of course, he brings him to work everyday, but he got loose.

he goes insane basically and, having trained all the rats, kills his boss.
there's one big huge rat named ben too, i haven't seen the movie in forever so i'm all mixed up XDD

anyway the cops eventually are like "lol wtf he got killed by animals" and somehow link it to willard.
also the rats have gotten loose while he was away and killed his mother, who calls him WEAK AND SUBMISSIVE anyway, which is what he is pretty much :/

eventually yeah cops find him and he's running from ben who's all "your fault socrates died" i mean they don't talk but yeah.
and uh, yeah he gets his face chewed a bit by ben and then goes to the mental ward.
and the ending makes me want to die with sadness/happiness but i gave you enough spoilers so i won't tell you the very ending.
