Eli stopped. This was too obivous. It had to be a trap. Eli decided to assert his power. "Neon, will you put me on the public speaker please? The one that lets the whole city hear my voice?"

"No I will not." Neon told him sturnly. "That is what he wants Eli. He wants to get into your head." Neon warned him. Hoping he would listen.

"Neon, please put me on the public speaker. I am giving you a direct order."

"Heh.."Alex said listening in on the small box of Drakes radio he had tooken out,he had made sure there were no trackers."Hes falling right into my plot.."

Neon rolled her eyes. Smirking to the camera. "And you know I have listening problems. Besides, I am a damn tratoir." Neon said again pressing a few buttons. "You have to come back to HQ. Most of my systems are messed up now. The announcement has to be made from my consul." She told him with a sigh.

"Fine" Eli ran back to the car and drove back to HQ as fast as he could. He ran to the communiactions room and got on the main consol, activateing the public speakers. "Attention Alex, I will not play your game. On top of the skyscappers and the cities outer wall are giant canisters of toxin. Release Katie and drake now, or I will detonate them and flood the city. If any civilian has a problem with that, all they have to do is bring you inn. Dead or alive."

Alex grinned and sat back."Like he can get us with the toxin..were underground."He snorted towards Drake.

Drake tried to scream as he saw Alex taking off Katies shirt and looking at the long scar."Eh,My father never was a good carver anywho.."Alex said while using the tip of his knife to make large A on her stomach.He slid the shirt back down and looked at Drake."I have to give you my mark as well buddy boy."He said,lifting up drakes shirt and carving a large A into his muscular chest.

Hiyoko looked at Eli,"WHAT the hell?!"

"Oh, and Alex, The toxin will also come in liquid form, seeping into the pipes and through crakes. So unless you have a gas mask and a hazmat suit, your screwed. You have 30 minutes to return my people. That is all" Eli stood at the consol, emotionless.

Hiyoko stared at Eli,"He is trying to kill us all...." She muttered.

Neon shut the speakers off then. "Now.. About that thinking I was talking about. You realize you just fell into his trap right?" Neon asked Eli raising an eyebrow. Why did he never listen to her?!

"What a man does for a woman.."Alex said,radioing into the HQ."Listen Eli,You think threatening me with death will change my mind?I would rather keep them here to my advantage,because either way..you still don't get what you want."He put the radio up to where Katie and Drake were.Both of them sounded in lots of pain."Shall I cut out her heart for you or will you let Neon talk to me?"

"One way or another Alex, I will piss on your grave" Eli handed the mic to Neon. "Trace the signal"

Alex heard him and laughed."She can't retard,I took out and tracking devices possible.I even used an old radio so you can't find me anywhere.And If you come,I'll kill them and blow up the HQ. Whose pissing on whose grave now?"He destroyed the radio and looked at Katie."Hmm..How to hit him hard.."

Neon typed very fast, only to lay her head down on the key board. "Damn it!" She said totally frustrated at the sitution.

Hiyoko leaned on Neon's chair,"He's good," She commented,"Maybe being a rebel might not be that bad.... hypothetically of course,"

Eli didn't know what else to do. He got back on the public speaker. "You win Alex. What do you want?" Eli couldn't stop thinking about katie.

Alex raidoed back in,finally with a proposal."Hmm..If I can have Neon,in the same room with me for a small chat within 20 minutes that would be great,but every minute shes not here I'll kill someone and blow things up.Oh and by the way,Eli.If you don't get Neon here quickly..Katie will be the first to go...since you 'love her'"He said slyly."Video tapes in the HQ was brilliant on my part."

"Neon, go to him. I won't follow. But make sure he sends Katie and drake back in your car"

Alex looked at his watch."Tick,tock."He said laughing,it was already almost a minute."She knows where I am..It's the place we first met of course.."

Eli went to his room. He found his flask and took a swig. He couldn't live with himself if anything happend to Katie.

"Neon, do want me to come?" Hiyoko asked,"I don't care if you don't want me to,"

Neon nodded, getting up. A guard came with her wheelchair. "No, I need to go alone." She said to Hiyoko as Neon went downstairs, shooting a short glare at Eli. How quickly it was to sell her out. Whatever.. She went downstairs and got into a car. This would be an interesting drive. neon had to pause and think, then it hit her. She backed out and drove away, towards the outer line of the city. There was a warehouse, closed now. But the first place Neon had gotten Alex. she stopped the car and got out. A shot of pain came running up her leg. "Shit..' She muttered, heading inside any how. it was dark, but under the only light stood Alex.
