At the same time, the forest seemed to grow dimmer for a moment and cold wind blew through the trees. She shook her head and smiled and everything returned to normal, maybe a little brighter. "But she will be home soon. Spring is just around the corner."

Athena turned her head as she heard a male voice. She kept her stance as she looked at the man. "And who are you to lesson on things you shouldn't? It that not rude of a gentleman?" Athena looked to her hip slightly as she moved her hand to her hip where she left it rest. If he tried anything she had her dagger.

Watched as Hercules walked away. She didn't want to stay with Athena and her two new priestesses. Bowing softly she smiled at the women. "Thank you for letting me pal around with you... I will be taking my leave now. Have a good day." Pythia gracefully turned and walked quietly threw the forest. She did not exactly want to go back home....

Leuciosa was about to answer Athena's questions and suggestions when the man butted in. For the first tijme she spoke up trying to sound confident. Though she struttered a bit "Th-the g-gods do exist... if n-not for Apollo there would be n-no life" Though the pain shot through her arm again causing her to once again grab her arm in pain and cower back a bit.

Artimis then heard words upon the wind. Gods and goddesses weren't real? Oh she would give him proof of reality. A test perhaps. She stood and not caring about showing her true form to Obelix she transphormed. Her hair turned a strawberry blonde and her eyes turned ungodly teal. Her skin was that of moonbeams and her dress was the white of sea foam. She then drew her glowing now and pulled her arrow taunt. She would just knock the human off his horse. She knew Athena would know just hoe did it once seeing the arrow made of moonbeams. She then let the arrow fly and true to her mark she hit the man square in the shoulder knocking him off his horse. She then smiled and using her powers the horse came running to her. She put her bow back on her back and transformed back into her madien form as the horse came trotting. "Arent you such a lovely horse... It is not just for you to have such an unworthy rider." she said softly and kissed the horses head. It whinnied softly and she smiled. "Lets see how long it takes your master to find you." she said smiling mischieviously.

Balthazar landed squarely on his feet affter falling off the horse, "I am not a gentleman, i am a warrior and nothing less." he said looking at the women who adressed him. "And as for my name it is Balthazar." he said inclining his head, "And i have no reason to believe in gods so i chose not to." he said turning to the other one who spoke. "Life comes from your mother and father, not from something else." he said chuckleing. dropping his voice he addressed the first women, "that small knife will do little." he said looking at her hip. only once did he do a quick glance to see what direction his horse went off in.

Aphrodite chuckled some and took on her true form. She was splendidly beutiful. She had flowing red hair and green eyes bright as emralds.
"Perhaps I am bored with my usual and would like to try a half mortal." Alana looked up at the guy who approached them and shivered. He scared her a lot but she felt anger surge through her at his nonchelant dismissal of the gods. "The gods do exist and if you dont watch yourself you will be punished." She couldnt beilieve she had just met Aphrodite. How splendid. |
Talla smiled, "Really I love spring the most! It's such a happy time!" She said looking at Demeter. Metro nodded staying silent as he watched the woods change for the split second. It was strange and amazing that the woods could change so much by just a small emotional shift.

& what happened to apollo? just curious} Pythia had known at that man's words that a fight would break out. she was not fond of violence thus she decided to leave. The arrow flew past her cheek frightining her she tumbled sideways and fell to the ground. Landing softly in a bush she laid there then rested on her hands. Turning slightly she decided that she was safe enough away that she wouldn't get hurt. ---- The man was awestruck when he saw her change into her goddess form. She was beautiful, truly magnificent. Obelix had never seen a more beautiful woman. He hadn't heard the words she had, but he assumed that was because he was normal. Standing beside her he was shocked as she sent a brilliant arrow threw the air. Then a horse stood beside him. The steed was of a fair breed quite lovely if he had to say. "What is going on Lady Artimis?" He asked her softly trying not to be too rude. |
Hercules looked upon Aphrodite with lust "How do I know you won't cheat on me like you did Hepheastus?" His hands started to wander up her sides boldly rubbing her waist as he stared into those emearl green eyes.
Leuciosa stood back as she saw the weapon. She cowered behind Athena pressing against her. She wasn't a capable fighter sure she had claws but one arm wouldn't cut it and being she was still a young siren she didn't yet have her siren song so she was pretty much useless right now. |

Aphrodite pushed him away from her with a grin. She wasent going to make it that easy. "You dont. Besides I never said anything about dating you." |

Artimis turned to Obelix and smiled reasuringly. "Very simple, a brute thinks that he is bold enough to say gods and goddesses do not exist... And right in front of my sister Athena. I am not pleased with his actions. So I merely knocked him off his hourse." she said and smiled reasuringly at Obelix. "But you need not worry... If I had to guess... Father won't be very happy about this..." she said and laughed lightly. The sound was a beautiful melodic sound that if heard in the woods was suposed to mean good luck. "Though you did not answer my question... Or do you not have an answer?" she asked lightly as she stroked the horses muzzle. |
Demeter seemed to read Metro's thoughts. "Fall and Winter are caused because of my emotional shifts. My daughter must return to her faithful husband every year and I am sad to see her go and when she is away. I try to keep calm but the actions of man cause my moods to flare. Floods and drought are caused by my anger, bounty in crops caused by my pleasure. It comes from being the goddess of fertility and of the harvest. I am as you humans say "Mother Nature" in the absence of my mother, Rhea, who is the earth itself."

{that's why i asked about apollo. i thought maybe Pythia could run into apollo... maybe once the fight breaks out she'll run away. or even run into the twins... not sure but i'll think of something =D

He had avoided her question because he really had no idea why. Artimis's laughter sent shivers up his spine. So delicate and song sounding... It was hard not to be enticed by it. "People are foolish. Some do not think from time to time. And some forget what they are given. Humans are not always worthy creatures... and many disregard the pleasures and luxuries given to them by someone else... that's all I can figure. People are just foolish creatures and think they can take what they want." He answered quietly as he looked to the horse. |

Athena tried not to laugh as she kept her face blank. She really wanted to laugh at the mortals words. If he knew just how real the gods where and how deadly she was with that little knife he would hold his turn. Athena turned as she gently held out Leuciosa's arm. "Come we must take care of that arm." Athena looked at the man and gave him a slight nod. "Good day." She turned as she headed back to the forest again she was worried about Leuciosa's arm. She would make her sisters flute another way.

Hercules was pushed away by the goddess "Earlier you were telling me you wanted to do some "worship" and were clinging to my arm... and now you aren't making it easy... You are avery confusing woman" He scratched the back of his head as he thought.

Artimis nodded and smiled softly. "Spoken very wisely Obelix." she said softly and then shook her head. "Sometimes I think we can knock more sense into people and they just keep proving me wrong... Your kind can be very stubborn." she said and then laughed. "But then again so can I." she said remembering asking her father to let her hunt forever and to never have a man take her. It was a thing she never regretted. "Your mother.... How is she fairing?" she asked softly. She liked this human. Despite him being a man... He was proving to her that men could think... And not always lust over females like animals... |
Demeter took a deep breath to remain calm. "Yes I am sure she does, but she can still visit me. You poor things will not see your mother until your fated time to visit the Underworld, as all mortals must." She patted Metro's head and ruffled his hair. "But now you have a great family to keep you company. Though we are not your mother, you now have a great number of aunts and uncles and brothers and sisters." She smiled softly.

Still a bit mad Alana followed Athena away from the man.
"Why exactly didnt you expose yourself to him and prove him wrong? How could you just let him badmouth you like that?" Aphrodite transformed again this time to a lovely young girl of about seven years of age. "COme on lets get moving. You can come hang out with me in my favorite spot." She grabbed his hand and smiled up at him. "Arent I just to cute." |
Obelix couldn't help, but smile as she told him he did well. It was like praising an animal, but he tried his best not to show it. "We are a very stubborn and sinful kind... pretty awful." He chuckled softly. At times he was stubborn, but not to the extent of others. The man was surprised when she asked about his mother. Rubbing his face he shrugged. "She's alright. Breathing normally again... she's still bed bound... I'm assuming it will be several months til she moves around again." He answered quietly. "I'm surprised you know about her. I would think a goddess would be too busy for a simple man like me."

At those words Artimis's features saddened and she shook her head. "Of course I would know... You and very few others pray to me... Like I said things... In my temples aren't as good as they should be..." she said softly and shook her head. In truth her prayers were dwindling everyday and as much as she hated to admit it, it hurt her deeply. "I have to know... I must charish all those who I have left." she said sadly and brushed his cheek softly and then let her hand fall. She never touched a man besides her brother but she felt as if she was somehow going to loose him too. And he was a worshiper who lightened up her day. Very few people could sway her moods. Mainly her brother.

Balthazar turned away towards where his horse had run, he didnt move till the ladies had moved off. He strolled looking for his horse, finally finding it in the hands of a women. "i see you grabbed my horse for me, thank you"! he said bowing awkwardly with the blades on his back, then he looked up at the women.

Athena looked over her shoulder at Alana. "And what would that have proved to him Alana? There is a time to fight and a time to let the other win. You must learn this or you will find life hard dear. There are those who believe in only their way and that is their right. I believe in mortals having their rights and if he chooses not to believe in such things then so be it."
