The twins nodded saying good bye. Talla gave her a small hug, "Thanks for the crown!" She said feeling it before rejoining her brother as the Nymphs led them back to the tree house. Talla smiled looking at Metro. Who laughed wondering what the wolf population thing would be. He figured that they would find out soon enough.

Leuciosa looked toward Alana who was as far as she could tell friendly She smiled at Alana as the pain pulsated here and there.

Obelix nodded as Artimis said she must go. "You'll know where to find me if you want to talk." He said quietly with a smile. Walking over to where miss Pythia lived he peeked inside to see her sleeping. Grinning he decided he could start heading home. As he was walking threw the forest back towards his home he happened upon a group of three. Nodding he smiled at the group. "Good afternoon," he said gently to the two as he approached. Titling his head he wondered perhaps what they were doing there. Suddenly the third was gone, but he paid the person no mind.

Demeter hugged Talia and ruffled Metro's hair "Be good both of you. And becareful around those nymphs. Nymphs can be quite naughty sometimes" She waved and walked back behind a tree and disappeared.

As Artimis turned away balthazar tried to bite obelix for fun but couldnt physically do it. "Grrr fine.." he said as he trotted after her. "So why did you really do this to me.." he asked walking beside her." you could have killed me, erased me from existance. Why this?" he said.

The twins smiled as if they had a secret as they sat on the ground. Having a fake sword fight with sticks. Metro nodded to the man as he passed by. Talla he can't see the tree house… Metro said to her with his mind. Talla nodded giggling.

Obelix grinned as the male nodded to her and walked by. When he reached his home it was quite late in the afternoon. Going up he sat beside his mother. She was at least sitting up a little bit now. It was better than she had been in any other day. He wondered if Artimis had something to do with it. Heading downstairs he went it into the cupboards to prepare dinner for himself and his mother.

Artimis looked at the wolf next to her and shook her head. "You see... I do not like it when my brothers take girls... And I frown upon anything of that area." she said and looked at him. "I cannot save every girl from that fate... And though I wish I could change fate. But it is not my place... And it is not yours... You need to see that and I'm going to introduce death. It's something that I have to deal with everyday." she said softly as she walked into the forest. She then was called over feeling an animal's pain and looked at him. "You are going to see my job." she said and took off at a run. She found the bear cub mangled and bloodied and kneeled next to it her eyes soft.

Yoi sunddenly felt his stomach grumble. He was feeling quiete hungry. His sister looked at him and rolled her eyes. Ofcourse he was hungry, he always was. They both exchanged glances, and took into different form. Yoi, a young boy, and Shinya a young girl. They rushed through the forest, in search of a trail leading to the city. |
Talla yawned as she relaxed in the tree house looking out at the forest watching the sun intently. Metro had gone out hunting with a couple Nymphs earlier and Talla was becoming worried. She didn't like to be alone too long. Just then a chirp broke her thought as she looked down and saw a little Mulberry bird chick, "Hello little one…" She said as it jumpped on her hand looking at her Talla smiled petting it's head gently. "You lost?" The chick chirpped. Talla nodded thinink, "Well you can stay here till you parets come!" The chick chirpped flapping it's little wings. Talla smiled happily.

Balthazar walked beside her, "Do you think that a bear cub is the same as a human, did you kill this cub, did what you worship kill it. The very things we hold to protect us, that are supposed to give us justice, how can you justify that." he said not even looking at the cub. the hair on his back stood up, as he yelled at her.

Athena disappeared into the forest leaving the two mortals at the temple as she explored the forest. Athena looked at the bear cub then to Artimis who had just found it. She gave Artimis a quick bow as she held the herbs in her hands that she needed to help the siren. Athena walked a little closer as she looked at the cub. "It it going to be alright Artimis?" It had been a while since she had seen Arthims and was happy to see her about. Athena wanted to get out of her human form but she couldn't help the siren if she did.

Demeter appeared at the edge of the group and peered over shoulders to see what the hubbub was about.

Artimis looked up at her sister sadly and shook her head. "Its too late..." she said feeling the cub's life slipping away. "But I can ease it's suffering..." she said softly and stroked the bears head and it's pain ceased. It went still in her arms and she closed it's eyes and set it down looking away. She then stood and looked at the wolf. "This is life... And the balance... Is needed to be kept... This is life." she said and a tear fell from her eyes. She then looked at Athena and smiled sadly. "What pleasure do I owe this sister?" she asked softly.

"Pish.. if thats what life is then what about teh countless that are killed in battle, all those who die because of people who worship gods.. what do you to for them?" he said looking at her, "The balance is nothing but a lie, something you say to justify what gods do!" he barked at her, then looked at the new comer, "Hahahaha the lady from the town." he laughed to himself.

Athena looked to the ground as she said a prayer for the bear. She looked to her sister and then to her herbs. "I have a Siren who is hurt. I came into the forest to get her some herbs to help her pain sister." Athena looked from her sister to the wolf who stud by her. "Who was your friend sister?" Athena walked closer as she looked at the cub. Athena walked over to the wild flowers and picked a few then placed them with the cub. "It may be the balance of things but it doesn't mean it is far. It is a shame that we have no power over such things. If I did I wouldn't let any of the men of war die. But All I can do is keep their spirits high and give them wisdom."

Demeter took the cub from Artemis and laid it in the grass. "Artemis, with this death begins the lives of millions of other lives. The very grass will thrive due to this lost, do not be sad." She then made the earth envelope the cub.
She then turned on the wolf and the very grass wilted at her feet. "You, mortal, understand nothing. Your sister's loss was sad, but it was fated from the day she was born. Those lost in battle, were fated to be lost in battle. Even the gods have our fates written out. The balance is very very important. If no one died the world wouldn't be able to support the weight." |
Shinya and Yoi silently continued to walk through the forest, when they noticed a group of people. Still in there human forms, they silently walked up. They noticed that they were gods, and goddess, and sighed. They turned into their normal forms, and Yoi brushed through his thick black hair with his hand. "Hello, may I ask what is going on here?" Shinya asked curiously.

Talla sighed in relief as Metro returned with two rabbits, "Next time you go I don't like killing animals…" he said as Talla took them to clean and cook.
"Alright if you say so…" she said as she carefully skinned them. Saving their hides, "Oh that's Goldy…" Talla said pointing to the mulberry chick who was earting a berry. Metro nodded with a laugh, "Of course…" Talla grinned as she began to roast the rabbits on small fire. |
Adtimis looked at the wolf and then at her sisters. "This is the human in which I struck from the horse." she said and looked at him. "He has much to learn.... And I wanted to help him... Though I'm sure he will not want to see the truth... That is until he has to kill to eat..." she said and looked at the wolf. "I should have made him a rabbit." she said and looked at them. "Then he wouldve gotten the message rather quickly."

Shinya and Yoi linked hands as they silently watched it all happen. Having nothing to say about the event, they decided to wait for something, anything really. Shinya then noticed that she had said horse. "Was this the young knight that didn't believe in gods and goddess such as ourselves?" She asked quietly.

Athena turned her head as she felt the urge to laugh. She looked back to the wolf and stared at it for a while then rose her brow. "This is that man I met today that informed me gods and goddess don't exist. What a shame he would have made a good rabbit. I hope you can teach him he is going to be a stubborn one sister." Athena looked at the others who had joined them. She closed her eyes as she shifted into her true from feeling much better as she looked at her siblings.

Demeter chuckled and smiled at Artemis "Would have been easier on me, niece. You don't have to make sure the rabbits are fertile enough to cover the ones he eats. Though they usually have no problem in that area." She giggled again.

"If i was a rabbit i still would have welcomed the death," balthazar said stubbornly. "Gah so many people who think to highly of themselves," he sighed as he looked at everyone. "If you honestly think this will change anything you are wrong, it will only stregthen my resolve to bring justice to those who think they are above it." he said staring at them..
