I also have a profile on gaia online but I never really made any friends on that site. I hope I can actually find people to talk to on this site instead. It seems to be very promising so far. I very much like the way the avatar looks. So how is everyone doing?

Hehe, I just moved recently out of my parent's house and am enjoying having cable in my room. I've never had cable in my life before. I know a lot of things about the world now. I think. :p

My mother's cousin wants me to go watch New Moon with her at the dollar theater but I'm afraid it will ruin the books for me and I haven't seen the Twilight one and they are both probably terrible. >.<

Actually I had to move out because my dad needed to rent out the three rooms in his house in order to keep the house. Economy sucks and his job went under. So I'm living with my mother's cousin; her and her husband have been so good to me. I am extremely lucky.

Honestly the movie might ruin the books for you. They do change certain things, of course. I still prefer the books to watching the movies, but I like both of them.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! At least you are making the best of the situation, and you have relatives like that. :) It's always nice to have family to fall back on in times of need.

Yeah it really freaked me out when I first saw the cast for the movie but I think I might be getting used to it. You just can't capture the mysteriousness and beauty of a real vampire in a film. Or at least I think they failed to.

Yeah, I do agree. I think they could have picked better people for Edward and Bella, but it's hard to find a cast for a much-loved series with high expectations, I suppose.

Two of my friends who didn't know anything about the Twilight series books or anything went to the midnight premiere showing of New Moon dressed as victorian vampires to "show people what real vampires look like." XD It was pretty funny. My friend and I did their hair and makeup. Some middle-aged woman was hitting on them.

Haha, that's cool! I find Victorian vampires very interesting. All vampires, really, I suppose. I like the True Blood novels and stuff too. ^^
