Very few of my family members have loving marriages and healthy bodies - it's horrible :gonk:

Yay!
That's awesome <3
I only got to meet 3 of my grandparents hahaha
Everyone died before I was born :3
(my mom's the youngest of 4)

Good <33

Aw.. Extra vitamins for Ems, huh? *Shakes a bottle*

Hehe, yeah I know how that marriage thing goes.. There are only a few of them that really work out.. My family is afraid of divorce, but that doesn't stop them from hating the daylight out of their spouse.

*frowns* Though, he and his brother (My great-uncle.) Just passed away a week before my birthday.

Kanaria 03-28-2010 03:18 PM

Oh, nothing is wrong. I just can't seem to find time to get on mene.

Apricot 03-28-2010 03:21 PM

Oh.. *Pats on the shoulder* Well, you should focus on what's important! We can wait, no matter how long it takes.

Kanaria 03-28-2010 03:29 PM

Yes, I know. *hug* <3

Nope xD
I can't take them~
They make me worse, as strange as that is hahaha

xD
I know what you mean - some of my family is like that~
That, or they marry and divorce a ton xD

Oh no...
I'm so sorry :(
-hugs-

Apricot 03-28-2010 03:30 PM

*Holds out her basket* Want a egg for good luck?

I know right? Vitamins.. That make you worse! That's why I don't take garlic in pill form, it makes me dizzy!

I always thought that you were supposed to marry someone you liked.. *Giggles*

It's alright.. They lived up in Illinois. Even though they're family.. I didn't get to talk much with them. So in the end, I got sad, but I didn't cry. Besides, at 90+ and multiple surgeries, you'd expect them to go any day.

Emma Corrin 03-28-2010 03:43 PM

I'M THE SPAZEWALK CHAMPION!!!!!!!

--

Eww - that sounds gross :(

Haha~
I know right?
Apparently the love dies after a few years~
Or a few days depending xD;

I'm seriously hoping that doesn't happen to me, that I can find someone who'll love me forever and always and who I can love in the same way :3
It'd be nice to prove the family curse wrong and truly be happy, ya know?

Yeah, but it still sucks~
-snuggles-

Well, I have to go now.. Good luck!

Kanaria 03-28-2010 04:36 PM

Ahhh. Fangirls is lagging for me so bad.. I'm on level 20, and the pink girls weren't even half way done.. and apparently 4 got through my defense. :[ !!

This glitch made me laughX

@Kylie - Fair enough, i don't like some of them aswell lol. But there are some who are pretty awesome. It's a shame that none of them put a stop to the nonsense that went on in that thread.

I can understand how sometimes trying to sort issues out with some of the staff, feels quite intimidating. Cause really as members we don't have anyone else to back us up but members. Whereas staff have the power to just ban you, ya know? That too they all seem to stick together & back each other up. Regardless if one of them is wrong. And i suppose being the owner you can ban whoever the hell you want, without having a real decent reason too. I know the site owner of another much much smaller avi site, did that once lol.

While it isn't as bad here as it is on Gaia, I get a definite sense of...something wrong. I am simply outspoken against the staff at this point.

Exactly. I read through everything and I was horrified. It was DISGUSTING. Gabriel had a dignified service record, and he was being made an example of in front of the entire forum. How the fuck was THAT justified? It was a public execution, and I was very proud of how he stood his ground and did not buckle. I was also proud of all of the members who came to his aide and defended against the injustice of the situation.

Please expand. What did he say that he felt the need to take back?

And never lay down and die just to save yourself. If you feel someone
has been wronged then you should speak out Regardless of consequence.
Lead your life but what you believe is right, not be what is safe.

I don't believe anyone should be afraid of the staff.

I disagree with you completely Kylie. My feelings are the opposite of mixed.
The things he says about me are beyond ludicrous and all speculation. The
things he uses against me are false accusations put forth by a coward.

As for the grudge against the staff, I do with they would have spoken out.
But if I'm going to make a blatant assumption I'm going to assume that they
didn't know it was happening. That being said, my aggravation lies with those
among the staff that I know had some idea of what was happening and did
not help him, rather they worked against him.

Now now Kylie, you shouldn't say "no one", you should say "virtually no one".
There are a few among us, myself included that know what it means to have
a direct interpretation of the rules ad to bite the bullet if there is a gap. It's
The job of an administrator to take the rules at face value. To see them as black
and what. To read them as directly impossible rather than freely interpret them.

I supremely dislike the accusations he brings up against you. I know who you are and the little paranoia that he and the rest of the staff shares against you makes me question their credibility all the more. You weren't bribed into helping us, you had nothing to gain on my accounts, and it was pretty much logical that if you have two groups of people to donate to - one came to your aid without any question and one spoke out against you - which one you'd choose to donate to. The champion of those people who spoke up for you, you decide to award a little more than the others. You did the most work that day, why not give you the biggest donation.

I know that the staff knew about it. Some spoke up, some agreed. The ones who agreed are the ones I feel need to be stripped of their power. I will never forgive them for agreeing to such an atrocity of privacy and personal honor. Insomniac may have promised clemency to those who spoke out against him, but I would still spit on the ones who thought the public execution was a needed event. Do you read this moderators? Those of you who agreed that it needed to be done? FUCK you, you inhuman monsters. No matter what they did against you, they are not to be publicly tried as a war criminal. ...that's assuming I'm still being watched, and if that's the case I hope they read that.

The rules need to be changed, so that there are NO loopholes. They need to be fixed so that people cannot find ways around faulty wordings and so that Jelly can never again say "Gist of it" and interpret them. This is not the supreme court. We do not interpret the constitution. We have a set of rules that users need to abide by, and if they find a loophole, then god damn it, they found it and YOU bite the bullet, not the user. ESPECIALLY when it was NOT done to abuse the system. Gabriel had all the gold in the world. How was he abusing the system for gold?

I suggested some revisions to close said loopholes... I was quickly shot down about making a public suggestion about it.

I can link you to the thread if you'd like.

OF course, Jelly was the first to speak up and shoot you down.

She has always been the first line of defense here, and always with her hasty, intolerant judgments, does she strike down people. I've seen it over the years.

Cora 03-28-2010 05:50 PM

I'm sorry any of this had to happen Azazel, Kylie, and of course Gabriel.

Although I was on the other side within the thread in question I do feel sad that the thread was created in the first place.

The first post of this thread, made me sad all over again.

I am glad you got your accounts back though Kylie.

Keyori 03-28-2010 05:52 PM

I really don't understand why the staff was being so hostile towards me that day, considering that, for most of the original thread between Inso and Gabe, I sided with the staff.

Yeah...I recognize you. I don't like you in the least bit. But thanks for your support I suppose.

Cora 03-28-2010 05:53 PM

@keyori- I dont understand that either.

I think they wanted things to be quieted, and hushed up in hopes that it would slowly go away.

@Kylie- its understandable that you dont like me. It was to be expected. I was after all on the other side, even though then and now I didn't agree with the way things where handled, I just understood them.

Keyori 03-28-2010 05:55 PM

Cora: I still like you! D:

I know. I saw all you said and I originally reaaaaaaaally disliked you. But when I talked to Gabriel about you he said you were a great person, that you just spoke up for your beliefs.

Cora 03-28-2010 05:57 PM

@Key- awwww *huggles*

It makes me happy that not everyone hates me. Its to be understanded that some will though.

Keyori 03-28-2010 05:59 PM

Kylie, I was wondering why you weren't being mean to me... I was expecting for you to flip out at any moment at me

Cora: yeah, you just can't please everyone. Like Cami xD

I find you are outspoken, though whole-heartedly naive about certain subjects. I hate people who are ignorant, but speak up anyways.

Keyori you were outspoken, but thoroughly versed in what you were speaking up on. That and Gabriel personally defended you against my initial accusations. He did not share the same enthusiasm to defend Cora, though he mentioned her and two other users by name from the event who he severely disliked.

Cora 03-28-2010 06:00 PM

@keyori- rofl, I will never please cami. My very existance displeases her.

@Kylie- I am less ignorant and naive then you think. But again, I had fully expected you to hate me. It saddens me, for I tend to try and make friends before enemies, but sometimes its unavoidable. I am sorry I offended you.
