Just heard on the news about the pediatrician that assaulted/raped over 100 children... =(

I am completely sickened.

That's terrible. :( People like that should be locked up forever. No child deserves to be violated like that. :( It's a sick sick world. :(

I can't say much on this matter on what happened but can we please raise awareness with the Mad Hatter in the next Batman film! Please! I see it daily. Parents allow their kids to run around the store and don't think of the danger. Thank God he didn't try to sell them as sex slaves!

That's really sickening, and the number is almost unbelievable. I feel so bad for those children and what they're going to have to live with for the rest of their lives. I hope that most of them (because of course it will not all of them...) will be able to lead relatively normal lives...

Many of them were young enough that they may not remember it, if they are lucky.

Where are these parents that werent there? I agree this man is just aweful. It sickens me that some one like that, who is so mentally ill-full of evil to take the innocent of a child. But I remember when I was little my mother always int he room with me. So it makes me wonder what this man said to get any mother or father away from the sick child, and further more did any of those parents have a "not-right" feeling in their gut about him.

I hate the fact the people think it can't happen to them. A Doctor! If you can't trust the doctor then what do you have? Nothing. Peds should be the only treating a child but this a total manipulation of trust! I don't think appalled sums up my feelings. I think awareness really needs to be raised and the only success you have to raising awareness is big movie hits. So bring on the Batman's Mad Hatter!

yea prisoners dont take kindly to child rapists or molesters, and I should know My uncle is in prison. mmhmm that guys gonna catch hell : )

@nightlydeity: He was a doctor so everyone trusted him. The kids were to young to really tell on him. He had a very nice play ground with a ferris wheel and things like that to attract the children, so the children wanted to go see him. One mother was in the room when he did something to her daughter..He said he was checking for a bladder infection and..inserted his fingers inside of her..and the mother thought nothing of it because he was a doctor and she trusted him.. some times he would say he was taking the kids to a back room to get them ice cream..they'd only be gone for a few minutes..but...

@Runes: I know it's crazy. Everyone trusted the guy... People need to be educated on the situation..Our crime rates have gotten extremely high..We need to find th ereason for this and try to fix it.

htownwera14: Prison will be avery bad place for him..they don't like child molesters, because many of them were molested as children..

Mimiroppu: I think the youngest they have found so far was 2...they may remember..but I just hope not..I hope they block it out of their mind and it's gone forever..so far the way the parents talk the children haven't realized what has happened to them..one mother said she looked at her daughter and hugged her and cried..and couldn't tell her daughter why, so I'm guessing her daughter doesn't realize what happened yet..I hope she never will...

Nissa: I agree punishments for rape are very weak.. Especially if it's a rape against an adult female..because the victim has to prove she's innocent before she can prove her rapist guilty.

I think this guy will be going away for along time though, because of the sheer number of children that he...harmed. .

I don't trust doctors as it is. I remember I had to get surgery for my wisdom teeth and they tried to get me to take my underwear off during the surgery and I wouldn't.

Umm....you dont check a bladder infection by putting your fingers inside a certain place, but I can see where she trusted him anyhow. There are a lot of parents that probably thought they found the nicest friendliest doctor too. That is so sad.

If the prisoners were not molested themselves, they at least have children, and they might feel the only way to protect their child from the inside, is that any predator that does comes in and make sure he cannot come out.

Pedofiles are people that are typically not wanted by the opposite or same sex. Or their animal side is really messed up. My boyfriend had an idea, maybe give x number of chances then castrate. There is the chance of being innocent and you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. There are some people that can't turn it off and have actually asked and been denied castration.

The mother said she didn't think about it cuz it happened so quickly and she trusted him..which isn't surprising..parents send their children to doctors with the trust that they are in safe hands.. this is just so sick.
