Contessa smiled at him, biting her lip again. She was so incredilbly happy she didn't think anything could tear her down. "Oh, I hope nothing bad has happened while we were gone." She said, helping him walk. AS they walked she couldn't help but steal glances at him. When she looked away, she noticed that there were people in the graveyard. "Oh.. looks like someone died. Hey! That looks like Kristoff!" She said, worry in her voice. He hadn't gone back to the graveyard since their parents were buried. She lead him over to the graveyard, as they neared it she saw Kristoff bent down next to a small body covered by his coat and Solaire. Worry worked in her face as she looked up at Siloh.

Kristoff grabbed Solaire's hand as she retracted them. "It's alright, I'll do it." He said softly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. He pulled back the coat from her mother's face and removed the collar. Covering her back up, she laid the woman's body into the soft dirt. Father Fredrick had a somber look upon his battle worn face as Kristoff stood to begin putting dirt back over the grave. The Father began to speak a few words of passing, a blessing on the Fox's soul as Kristoff finished putting the dirt over the body. He was lost in thought that he didn't noticed his sister and Siloh.

Siloh too was happy until he noticed the two in the graveyard when Contessa pointed it out, he slowed and stopped as he realized one of the figures was Solaire. He didn't want to get any closer, afraid to find who was under the coat but as he watched and saw Kristoff pull the coat away his knees almost gave out, "No..." he whispered a look of blank shock on his face as he watched the two. Under normal circumstances he wouldn't be so happy that Kristoff was starting to seem like he liked his sister but at the moment he felt nothing but complete shock, shaking his head and wanting to just run the other way. "No, it can't." he said a little louder, tears in his eyes though he didn't know it. He was stuck where he was as he watched his mother be buried from afar, unable to approach and say the words he should.

Solaire barely heard him as he grabbed her hands but she nodded without looking at him, sobbing still and unable to stop. She hated people, anyone, seeing her like this but she couldn't get herself to stop, biting her lip and hiding her face, curled into a tight ball. Her ears were flat on her head and her tail was held limp. She couldn't touch the collar yet even. HEr ribs were starting to ache as she cried and her head was throbbing.

Contessa's eyes filled with tears, memories flashing through her. When she heard Siloh, her heart dropped. She supported him by wrapping her other arm around him. "Oh..Siloh.." Contessa breathed, fighting back the tears. Contessa caught eyes with Kristoff, whose jaw was set and his normaly bright eyes dark. She knew he didn't like they way her and Siloh were at that moment, but he didn't say anything. Contessa buried her face into his shoulder, her tears flowing.

Kristoff growled softly when he saw Contessa with her arms around Siloh. He didn't like seeing his sister so intamite with a man, no matter who they were. She had her arms wrapped around him and he had his around her. He took in a sharp breath and bent down next to Solaire. He took her small hand in his larger one, his ears laid back in a respectful manner. Kristoff didn't say anything, just held her hand and rubbed her back as she cried.

Siloh couldn't believe what he'd seen and he cried, holding Contessa, needing her so much right now. He was tired and already saddened by the death of their father a few days ago but this was worse. So much worse. Not only did he know his family had been cut in half but this meant his parents were dead and his little sister had witnessed their mother's death. He slowly sank from where he stood and was crying, knowing it was terribly weak of him but he couldn't help himself.

Solaire was grieving and heard the growl from Kristoff but didn't know the cause of it but was afraid crying was somehow wrong to the panthers so she drew in a deep breath, crushing her emotions down and locking them away, the sobs cutting off rather suddenly, as well as her breathing, holding that deep breath. The vixen glanced up at him, the pain still in her eyes but the rest of her face was wiped clean. Her eyes were puffy and red, her nose red and her cheeks too as she looked at him and carefully pulled away, "I'm sorry." she choked and ran, running as fast at her two feet would carry her, needing to find a place that would allow her to cry, a place where there were no people to judge her or get angry with her.

Contessa sank to the ground with him, her arms tightly around him. She held him as he cried, letting him get it all out without saying a word. She knew that no words could help him at that moment. She watched as Solaire ran off, then glared at her brother who had gotten up and had ran after her. Contessa sighed and nuzzled Siloh as he wept for not only his mother, for his siblings.

Kristoff cursed when she took off. He ran after her, easily catching up to her and grabbing her arm. "I wasn't growling at you." He said. He couldn't explain to her how he felt seeing his sister with her brother. "I'm sorry if you thought that. I was...upset..over seeing my sister with your brother..they looked a little too cozy for my liking." He said, still holding her with both hands. Kristoff looked at her, his heart aching at how upset she was and there wasn't a thing he could do to change that.

He cried himself out, crying until he couldn't cry any longer and he was silent and unmoving for a while after that until he decided he needed to put his problems aside for the moment to tend to his people. He held Contessa still but he looked at her after a moment and nuzzled her, "I don't want to ask too much but," he paused nervously, "But could you not leave tonight?" he asked, needing her even more now.

Solaire was trying to pull away from him as she spoke but she didn't have enough energy or concentration to stay so composed or keep tugging for long and she broke down as he brought another realization on her, "What do you expect from us?" she took a shuddering breath, "We don't have anyone our age left in our tribe. Our pairs are dead." She couldn't look at him as she shook, crying and sobbing again, trying to pull away again but she only sank to the ground, sitting on her legs and holding her middle, it aching so badly to cry so she was bent over with her forehead to the ground.

Contessa smiled weakly at him. "Of course. I'll stay with you." She said. She pulled away a little to look at him. After a moment, she helped him up, wrapping her arms around him. "Ready to go back?" She asked softly. She looked in the direction her brother and Solaire went off too.

Kristof cursed under his breath again. "I..." He started. He sank down infront of her, moving his hands to cup her face. He gently wiped away her tears. "I..don't know what to do." He said. The only think he could think of was to kiss her. Not like earlier, where he had kissed her on her forehead. No, he leaned forward and pulled her face to his, pressing his lips to hers. He was sure she'd beat him senseless for it, but he couldn't do anything but. Something exploded inside him, it was warm and hot, making his heart pound in his broad chest. His body heated from his core and spread through out his body. He had never felt such a reaction to kissing anyone before.

Siloh relaxed when she agreed to stay with him and he gave her a weak peck on the cheek. After she helped him up he nodded to her, hugging her and glancing off to where her brother had gone, "You worried about them?" he asked, holding onto her and looking at her.

Solaire felt miserable as she sat on the ground and listened to him but when he kissed her she was shocked at first but soon reacted, her body growing warm and her tears coming to a stop an arm snaked its way around his neck and the other hand moved over his chest, feeling his hearbeat, so caught up in him she forgot to cry, forgot to grieve, and forgot to be sad for the moment. Feeling his heat radiating from him she shivered and scooted closer to him, her heart fluttering. She could feel her cheeks going pink as her whole body seemingly caught ablaze with heat and want for him. He hadn't felt this way since.. Well since ever.

Contessa nodded, looking back at him. "Yeah, Kristoff was never good with upset females." She said as they walked back to the building that housed the fox tribe. It wasn't far from the cemetery, so it didn't take them long to get back. It was rather late when they reached the building. She wondered if the others would be sleeping or would they be waiting for Siloh and Solaire to come back. She didn't really care about what he brother was doing, but if he hurt Solaire in anyway, she was going to beat him within an inch of his life. They reached the inside of the building, some of the foxes were still awake, some weren't. She smiled at them as she help Siloh to his bed.


Kristoff was lost in her. Her scent, her taste and her touch they all inginted him. Fueled his body, made him feel alive. He hadn't felt this way in such a long time. He moved his hands down her face and slender neck, then down her arms. He slipped them around her slim waist and pulled her even closer to him. He wanted to be as close to her as he could, waiting to inhale her. As he kissed her, a deep purr vibrated his chest. He loved how her small hand felt against his chest, how her lips felt against his. He didn't realize how much she affected him until now, this very moment. He felt that if he would end the kiss his would would fall apart.

"Not good how?" Siloh asked with a slight frown, now starting to worry about her quite a bit. He was hoping the panther didn't get violent. He took one glance back at the woods then moved to go inside, smiling when he found many of them asleep, Hanna and Wryn running to them, Wryn giving Siloh a heavy glare before hugging Contessa's leg and Hannah hugging Contessa then Siloh.

Solaire reveled at how his hands seemed to leave trails of fire on her skin but as he began to purr that all went away and it was just him, her, and that sound. That wonderfully comforting sound. She melted against him as she felt the purr rumble in her hand and her own chest pressed against his. She'd never felt anything like this but she never wanted it to end, she never wanted to rid her senses of his smell. Of his taste, or even his touch. Her own reaction was similar to his, her arm around his neck pulling her tighter to him and her own odd purr, much as a fox let out, sounding.

Contessa shook her head at Siloh. "Its nothing bad. He just doesn't know what to do with upset females without making them even more upset." She said. She reached down and rubbed Wryn's head and ears as he hugged her, doing the same for Hannah. "Hey guys! Did you miss us?" She asked Wryn and Hannah.

Kristoff heard her strange purr and it made him even more excited. He slowly pulled away, wishing he didn't. He cupped her face again. He sat there looking at her, somewhat in shock. He didn't know what to say to her, or explain what happen. He was glad it had happen. His body was still on fire and at that moment he knew that she was his mate. "So..." He started, unsure what else to say.

Siloh nodded, understanding and smiled slightly as she petted the kits' heads, keeping the smile on for the kits. Siloh watched Contessa with them and found it quite endearing as they both chimed they missed her and only Hannah missed Siloh. He didn't mind if for whatever reason the little boy hated him he only wanted the child to have kindness in his heart and in his life.

Solaire tried holding Kristoff in place when he started to pull away but other than that she didn't protest. When he started to speak she pulled from his hands and shook her head as she moved to hug him shushing him a bit, herl mother still with that gap, partially filled by someone already.

Contessa smiled and laughed with the two kits. She loved them so much, she loved kids a lot. She always hoped to find her mate so she and he could have cubs. She glanced shyly up at Siloh at the thought of having kids, thinking how great of a father he would be. She told to kits to help them to the bed, mainly to get them away enough so they wouldn't trip her and Siloh. Luckily his bed was large enough to fit her and him without her having to worry about hurting his leg anymore than it already was. "Here we go. " She said as they reached his bed. She smiled at Wryn who was frowning at them, and Hannah who had followed them happily. Contessa turned her eyes back to Siloh and she smiled, but it was different than what she gave the kids.

Kristoff held back a chuckled as he scopped her up in his arms and set in his lap. He felt like she was his and will be, but he knew that it was only because she is grieving that she reacted the way she did. He felt like a jerk for taking advantage of her during her grief. He enjoy her closeness while he had it and when she didn't want anything more to do with him, he'll go sulking like he normally does. Kristoff had decided that if she won't be his mate, he'll just be mateless. He nuzzled her neck as he held her, drinking in as much of her scent as he could. He licked her neck, his tongue rouch like a cat's and a purr rumbled his chest again.

Siloh smiled as she laughed and pulled her closer as they moved to the bed then smiled at her, wondering if she'd ever be interested in having children. He didn't bother wondering if she was truly with him or not, living in the moment as far as she was concerned, not wanting to spoil it by planning things. He didn't bother being shy around the children and smiled at Hannah as he laid down and pulled Contessa over beside him, and kissing her cheek, completely open about what they'd come to realize.

Solaire smiled sadly as he chuckled, enjoying the sounds, the smells, and the taste of him still in her mouth but nos of all was his touch, warm and strong. "Can I stay with you tonight?" she asked then wrapped her arms around him and listened to him purring for a little while, relaxing against him to the point of nearly being asleep. In her half asleep state she smiled at him and kissed the only place she could easily reach, his chin, "Do you have a mate? or a pair?" she paused and looked down, "I hope not." she whispered under her breath but her eyes grew round as he licked her neck and she let out a soft noise, tipping her head to the side in a clear sign that she'd liked that..

Contessa blushed when he pulled her onto the bed with him. She smiled and purred when he kissed her. She curled up next to him, resting her head on his chest. She starting dozing off to the sound of his beating heart. She was so at ease with him, felt safe with him. Contessa made soft noises as she started to drift off to sleep in his arms.

Kristoff smiled when she lifted her face to show she liked when he licked her. "You can stay with me. And I have no mate or pair." Kristoff said in a deep husky voice. He nipped at her neck and licked it again. Nuzzling her, he stood up and carried her to his and Contessa's house. He knew that his sister would be with Siloh, so he could take her home without anyone being embarassed in the morning. "Is my place alright? Tess won't be home." He said into her neck. He couldn't get enough of her, he wasn't sure what will happen when she decided she was done with him.

Siloh smiled just barely as Contessa started to fall asleep then lifted his head to look at the two kits, "Hey, Nana May looks really cold, why don't you two go keep her warm tonight?" He suggested and watched them scurry off to the old vixen. He waited a little while for Solaire but soon decided she would not be back tonight and drifted off with his arm around Contessa.

Solaire seemed happy that he would let her stay with him and more so that he had no mate and she reached to kiss him, a soft sound escaping her when he nipped her neck, loving his attention on her, all but bathing in it. "Anywhere's fine with me." she answered him softly, her arms locked tight around him. She realized suddenly though that she didn't want to have to go back to her brother in the morning and face the discussion they were going to have tonight but she'd have to. She knew she would never tired of Kristoff but wondered if he'd leave her when the next woman came along or when he decided she'd had her time to get over her misfortune. She knew there was only one fast way to find out though it was blunt and to the point but she felt bolder by his acceptance, "Kristoff?" she started, her voice small and, unusually for her, timid, "Why.. Why are you being so kind to me?" It didn't make complete sense to her and she wished she could just take it as it came but she didn't think she could lose something, or one, else that she'd just come to enjoy and perhaps with a short amount of time, love dearly and treasure.

Kristoff picked up his pace when she said anywhere was fine. He nearly had them to his place when she asked her question. He slowed again, looking at her. "Because I think you're my mate. And I want to have as much time with you as I can until you decide you don't want me anymore." He said truthfully. Kristoff had never been one to beat around the bush about anything and he wasn't going to start now. If she protested his statement, fine, he'll continue to want her. He will always want her, even when he won't be able to have her. Kristoff was happy for the first time in a long time, he was happy having her there in his arms. They reached his house, it was a modern looking house, two stories with five bedrooms. Kristoff kicked opened the door, then after stepping inside shut it with his hips. He didn't want to let go of her until he laid her in his bed. He carried her up the stairs and into his room. He laid her down on his large king sized bed and then crawled in next to her. "Anymore questions?" He asked as he nuzzled her.

Solaire looked up at him as she listened to him and then looked down for a moment, thinking to herself and still holding on to him. She wondered if there was a specific reason for him to think she'd ever not want him. If he had some kind of trait that was undesirable to others or something similar. She almost fell asleep thinking these thoughts until he laid her down and asked his question and she smiled, scooting close to him, "Just two more..." She played with his hair as she said it, continuing after considering and carefully weighing the repercussions of her main question, "Why do you think I'll ever tire of you?" she asked, looking him in the eyes and looking hesitant before her next question, "And.. can I borrow pjs of some sort? These are getting really dirty."

Kristoff stopped nuzzling her and watched her face as he considered her question. "I don't know. I just thought you just needed someone to take the pain away. I'm not a fox, so I didn't think you'd want me as a mate." He said slowly. He carassed her cheek for a moment, then got up and went to his closet. He rummaged through his dirty clothes until he found a clean extra large t-shirt. He knew it would cover her well enough, she was smaller than him. In the morning, he'll let her go through Tessa's things to find something to wear. They were about the same height and weight, well..Solaire was lighter than his sister. He pushed those thoughts from his mind as he returned to her, holding out the black t-shirt to her. "I hope this will do." He said, sitting on the bed next to her. He normally slept in just shorts or pj bottoms when it was cold, and in the summer, he didn't wear anything at all.

Solaire watched him as he thought and smiled at him when she felt his touch. She shook her head and sat up as he went to his closet, "We don't do that, using others for our own comfort. If we want comfort we go to those we feel most comfortable with. If I didn't even feel anything I wouldn't be here." She said quietly, watching him with a soft smile. When he handed her the shirt she nodded at him and looked at him before quickly changing, keeping her back to him so he saw nothing. After changing she turned around to him and smiled, moving over and curling up beside him.

Kristoff draped his arm around her, running his hand across her skin. He loved the way it felt, the way she felt. "That's good. Because there will never be anyone else for me." He said in a husky, sleep trenched voice. He felt his chest tighten at his admitence to her, but decided it was the for the best. He had finally found her and he really didn't want to let her go. He gathered her close to him, resting his head on hers. He fell asleep peacfully for the first time since before his parents died.

Solaire fell asleep shortly after him and fell asleep peacefully as well, something she thought she'd go without for a time but as she woke early the next morning she smiled and rolled toward him, her arm wrapping around him gently as she snuggled against him and being beside him, sleeping next to him had her so at ease that she drifted back to sleep. Not waking again until late the next morning, the sun drifting well into the sky by the time she woke for the day. She didn't want to leave his bed though. It was so warm and it smelled so wonderfully of him that she'd only leave it to go to him... or maybe to shower. At this thought she searched around with her hand for him, yet to have opened her eyes, but didn't find him and bolted upright with a gasp, feeling a slight stab of panic as she looked around, worried that last night had all been a dream.

Siloh woke early that morning, early enough he could still see stars in the window so he rolled toward Contessa and gently scooted over to her, careful not to wake her as he placed his arms around her and proceeded to watch her sleep as he drifted in and out of sleep. When he was awake he'd think of things like how much he liked her, how lucky he was to have such a beautiful and kind person as his mate and more things like that.

Kristoff stepped out of his shower, wrapping a towel around his waist. He hated getting up before Solaire did, but he needed to shower and if she was awake, he wouldn't want to leave her. He stepped out of the bathroom that was to the right of his bed, his hair was still wet from bathing. He looked up and saw her sitting upright in bed, worry took him and he rushed to her, wrapping his damp arms around her. "Solaire, you alright? Did you have a bad dream?" He asked, pulling back just enough to look her in the face. His bare chest was covered with scars that told the story of his violent past. Forgetting he was in nothing but a towel, Kristoff gathered her into his lap and kissed her gently.

Contessa scrunched up her face and began to stretch her body out, arching her back into the air. Her movements were very much feline as she slowly opened her eyes. She opened them to find Siloh there watching her. A smile spread across her sleepy face. "Morning, handsome." She said playfully as she reached out to touch his face gently. "Did you sleep well?" She asked, rolling on her back and snuggled closer to him.

Solaire looked up as she saw him and was clearly relieved when she did, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his chest, "I'm sorry. I'm fine. You were gone and I thought I might've had one of those dreams that are so good that they're bad when you wake and realize you can't have what you truly want." she looked up at him and smiled slightly as she looked back down, tracing a line on his chest with a finger so her hand came to rest over his heart and sighing contently, "But I've got what I want most... A wonderful, handsome panther all to myself." She kissed him back as she was gathered in his lap, her hand staying over his heart and her other hand moving to grip his hand. She wanted a shower badly and wanted to ask him for one but wanted him more so put off asking for a moment as she inhaled his fresh soapy scent that mixed with the wonderful scent of him.

Siloh watched her as she woke and smiled at the cute face she made before he smiled back at her and replied, "And a good morning to you, gorgeous." he nodded as he let her snuggle closer, holding her to him and kissing her cheek, "I slept wonderfully, thanks to you." he answered and set his head down, still able to see her but not as well, "And what about you?"

Kristoff sighed in relief. "Good and know that I won't ever leave you." He said, giving her a soft squeeze. "What do you want to do now?" He asked. He didn't want to have her out of his sight for very long. "If you need clothes, you can raid Tessa's closet. She's got so many clothes she won't miss anything." He said, resting his head on hers.

Gwen smiled at him, her cheeks pink. "I sleep great. Best ever." She said, looking at him. "I'm glad, I don't think I can sleep without you now." She said, giggling and covering her face. "What do you want to do today?" She asked, propping herself up on her side so she could see him better.
