Operation Salvation, my newest RP. This is the OOC and Recruiting Office! Welcome and feel free to post! The story will be in the next post ^^

Times have changed, years have passed, but at this point no one knows what year it is anymore. There were plans on changing the economy to better help people and to just make life easier. The government’s idea was to create a superior race, a race of people that held a special genetic code, that once enough is created, it could get rid of all illness and diseases. The only problem was it was experimental, and expensive. Expensive enough that the government couldn’t create enough of this gene in their first go. They had their first ‘test subjects’ as we were called, but that was all there was enough for. People started going crazy. Some of us just disappeared, only bodies turning up in the following weeks.

Another race was declared responsible. They could practically ingest the gene through consumption of the bodily fluids of those with said gene. When this race ingests this gene, they gain full invulnerability from modern day weapons as well as gained abilities and strength. Obviously, the government didn’t want all their money spent on this project to go out the window so they hired ‘muscle’ to protect the remaining subjects. The only problem is, is that the same people that are going after the remaining test subjects are the only ones that can protect them because they are the only ones that can hurt one another.

Each protector had to go through training, an extensive background check, and received a very lengthy list of extremely strict rules. What happens when protectors die and test subjects are left to fend for themselves? What will this other race do if they find them? And what would happen if the protectors broke rule numero uno?

lol. I'm all excited about this role-play, it's been so long since I've done something like this. I'm not sure I'll be able to get as large posts as some of you guys but if they are short I will do my best to give them enough content to work from.

So anyway, back on topic. I think I might be slightly confused as to where all the characters are right now. Or do my posts make sense?

No, they're good. Zeldafreek's character and his protector are getting sushi while my character, melik and daeman's character are talking and then 13altahzar and gloomythebear and sitting to the side doing their own thing XD

Ok then, so I'm just waiting for Zeldafreek and his protector to post something I suppose. I wish they would say something, I'm really excited to get into this.

Well if need be I might be able to double up. You have a good plot line going on here but I think if anything people just don't want to read so much to catch up. Personally I like joining from the beginning but you have to online at just the right time for that.

Yeah, but we're moving slow enough that I can tell them where and what everyone's up to for the most part...

Perhaps you could advertise that? I'd love to see this role-play really take off. Generally I've played Dungeons and Dragons and lately I've been trying out being the dungeon master (if you're unfamiliar, that's the one who makes up the entire plot x.x) so I'm probably going to be coming up with a grand, master plan of epic evil. I think I might just have to make another bad guy or two if you don't mind XD however that'll be after I get used to this one.

I've been working on that, but nothing yet... I'll see what happens...

I get what you're saying and awesome! You can make as many characters as you can control ^^ If you don't have a specific idea for how they look like, photobucket is your friend!

I actually got the idea for the RolePlay from BioShock 2, but I didn't want it really all that similar because the story is very tight to the game.

Oh cool! I've heard of Bioshock. One of my friends is a really big gamer so he rants about a lot of the different things he loves to play, I'm fairly certain that was among the list. lol

BioShock is AWESOME! My boyfriend has the 2nd one right now and I normally don't like games like it but I might play it. He wants to get the 1st one. I want to build a Big Sister costume with flame thrower and all! It would be awesome XP

Very nice ^_^ I'm glad it inspired such a cool role-play concept! I still really wish things would start up, I can't create an awesome evil plan until I know people better. x.x
