Ever see that movie? Some people I've had to remind constantly, Gerard Butler is in it where he's a convict, reason: spoiler, and he plays his way to freedom being controlled by a kid out in the real world where everyone hassles him to buy Gerard Butler and he's trying to get out to see his wife and get his kid back. Cool movie, I loved it, it seemed rather vulgar though. I was rather shocked, I really wasn't expecting it. xD
I think the concept of it is pretty awesome, it was like a deathrace thing, but the fact that the convicts died wouldn't be as cool if this was real. What was your favorite part? Mine was near the end where Michael C. Hall [The bad guy] sang the sond Under my Skin. He has such a great voice! |
Yeah, I've seen Gamer. Me and my roomie liked it alot.
I really enjoyed the underlying themes of the movie. Like how Slayers was basically a modern day/futuristic version of the gladiators of Rome mixed with first person shooter video games. It was really fun to watch how it all played out and then to think about how much video games are becoming sports. Most people I know will watch someone playing a video game, and heck, I get more enjoyment out of watching people play video games then I do sports. I think my favorite part was the ending when the kid - I forget his name now - took Butler back over and helped him kick the bad guy's ass. Very nice. |
I liked the movie, Gerard Butler is so epic. But I thought it had too much unnecessary garbage in it. Some parts of the movie really grossed me out....like the sexual scenes and the ones where they showed the fat, ugly, nasty person who controlled Gerard's wife.
