Kioshi looked at Kana's weakened eyes as he frowned deeply. "If theres even a chance of you surviving....I want you to get the surgery...We still need to get married...remember?" he asked with his voice sounding tearful. "I really want you to be my wife...no one else." he said as he wrapped his arms around her body beginning to cry. "Please...Kana...I love you..I know you wont die..."

Kana nodded and a few nurses pulled Kioshi off Kana as they took her to a different room. She woke up a few hours later and slowly looked around.

After the couple of hours had passed, Kioshi was inside Kana's room as the surgery had already been completed for a while. He stayed in the room for the hours remaining and ended up falling asleep waiting for her to wake up.

Kana slowly sat up and retracted herself onto the mattress with a small scream. The doctor quickly rushed in and told her not to sit up, and if possible, don't move too much.

Immediatly when Kana screamed, Kioshi's eyes flung open as he looked up at her along with the doctors around her. He stood up and walked right beside the doctors, looking into her eyes. "Kana?...a-a-are you okay?" he asked with a concerned tone in his voice.

Kana held the small wound from the incision they had to make. "N-no..." she said quietly as she winced.

The doctor looked up at Kioshi and smiled. "She'll be okay as long as she doesn't move too much."

Kioshi gave a little frown when he heard Kana's voice, he leaned down to her forehead as he gave her a soft kiss before backing up. "Go ahead and get some rest, Kana...." he said quietly as he tilted his head. "I...I cant have you in pain during our wedding..now can I?" he joked a little trying to bring up the spirits around the room.

Kana smiled a little at his desperateness to get the mood of the others in the room up, even though it was obvious he was nervous. "I'll be fine, love, but please don't leave me. I won't be able to live." she said quietly. She kissed him gently and closed her eyes.

Kioshi smiled softly as he nodded a bit and touched Kana;s cheek before she closed her eyes. "I'll never leave you...Kana....nothing could ever make me leave you now..." he said quietly as he kneeled down right beside her, holding onto her hand softly. Please....be okay.... he thought as he closed his eyes as well and held onto one of her hands with both of his hands.

Kana woke up the next morning and looked over at Kioshi. "Good morning!" she said happily as she ever so slowly stretched her muscles one by one. She leaned over and kissed him gently.

Kioshi suddenly jumped from sleeping all night as he heard Kana's yell. "Whoa!!" he yelled almost falling backwards as he laughed a little. "'Morning there dear, feel better?" he asked as he leaned up toward her and kissed her cheek gently.

Kana laughed at him a little. "I'm so much better! As long as you stay here I think I'll keep getting better." she said with a small smile.

Kioshi smiled softly as he nodded and looked up at Kana with his head tilted to the side. "Thats good....since I'm not leaving anytime soon." he said quietly as he leaned over laying his head onto her shoulder and bit.

Kana laughed and set her head on his, playing with his hair a bit. "When am I getting out of here? It sucks..." she said quietly. She yawned and closed her eyes.

"Want me to go check for you?" Kioshi asked as he looked around noticing the room was empty expect for Kana and himself. "Or would you rather wait for a doctor to come in and we can ask him/her."

Kana nodded and kissed him gently. "Yeah, we can just wait." she said. She looked at him and smiled as she touched his cheek gently. "So...what exactly happened? I have non-vivid memories." she said.

Kioshi smiled and nodded as he looked around the room. "Alrighty." he said quietly, but exactly when he heard her question, he frowned deeply and looked down at the bed holding onto her hand that was on his cheek. "L-...lets not talk about...okay?...i...its kind of...painful." he said with a bit of pained tone of remembering what happened.

Kana kissed him gently and nodded. "As you wish my dear." she said quietly. She kissed him once more and scooted over, patting the spot next to her for him to lay down on.

Kioshi looked up toward Kana quickly as he blushed a little from the kiss this time. "Th-t-thank you...." he said quietly as he tilted his head when she patted the spot next to her. "Darling...thats a hospital bed...its for you...not me...." he said with a little quiet laugh.

Kana smiled a little. "And your point is?" she asked. She set her head back and gently closed her eyes. She was in extreme pain right now but she wouldn't dare tell Kioshi that.

"well....d-d-dont you think it'd be kind of....awkward if the doctor comes in?.." Kioshi said with a little laugh, not knowing that Kana was still in pain. "B-b-but if yo-you really want me to get on...I...I will." he said with his face turning a bit red from blushing.

Kana noticed his face was becoming more pink and she nodded. "Pleeeeeease?" she begged. She smiled and patted the spot again.

Kioshi smiled softly and finally nodded as he was still blushing a little. "Aww I cant resist...alrighty." he said with a little laugh as he climbed onto the bed next to Kana and wrapped his arms around her. "Better?" he whispered into her ear quietly.

Kana set her head on him gently and nodded. "Yes...much. Thank you sweetheart." she said quietly as she closed her eyes. Her pain was starting to slowly ease off and she smiled.

"your welcome, darling." Kioshi said as he closed his eyes patting Kana's back gently. "So...Kana....I guess....we'll have the wedding...when you feel better?" he asked with a little bit of a playful tone in his voice.
