xD Yeah, I hope I don't.
I don't know why, but I almost had a bit of a panic attack this morning when I passed a man mowing grass. I've kind of gotten used to lawn mowers since then, 'cause it's been almost 20 years, but it kinda freaked me out this morning for some reason. |
I have a high pain resistance thank god. but the worst thing I can think of is having a nail go through my foot..
all the way AND through my flip flop. we were picking blackberries. I'm always scared to go in my moms boyfriends blackberry bushes now. so is my sister because she was there D; and I screamed in her ear. |
LOL you're the second person to have a nail go through her foot...
It's ironic, because that happened to my best friend when we were kids! We were out in my backyard exploring the woods behind my house, and she randomly stepped on a nail! I had to carry her all the way back to the house where my nurse mommy took care of it. It was still pretty bad though :x |
haha
one thing that annoys me that hurts but I'm pretty use to it now is that we just got our carpet re-done and there's a nail poking out and I step on it whenever I go into the kitchen D; it's made my foot bleed ): |
Was helping a friend move a wall piano up a small set of stairs, my hand slipped and the piano went backward onto my shin and snapped the bone, which ripped out of the skin and exposed it. Blood everywhere, a whole amount of pity and leg support for a year.
|
Hmm... lets think. The most terrible thing that happened to me was when i was going down a hill, it was dark, on a path with lots of bumps and a river next to it and all but there was guard rails on the siding. So i was not wearing a helmet on and then i literally hit a bump, went over the handle bars and hit the guard rail. 13 stiches there. But the SCARIEST thing was last year (2009) summer when i was going down a steep-ish hill with a bumps like road.bump.grass Get it? ok its just this ridge thing. So then a car, speeding was going down the hill un steadying me making me wobble back and forth and then boom i flew over the handles and literally skidded down the road. I did'nt need stiches or anything though!
I've had so much stuff done bad to me but some of these are badder. Like yours gutter glitter! Thats so scary! |
Hmm. I'll try to keep this as less graphic as I can.
I was in grade.... 3 And I was at my grandmothers house. She lived up in the country and has a huge house and gravel drive way. But they finaly got it paved and my cousins and I were playing. there were some roks still scattered all over thplace, keep that in mind. I was skipping and the rope got caught around my leg and I fell. When I fell I landed on the sharpest rock. it was litteraly in the shape of an arrow head. So yeah.. arrow head into my knee. I was screamin and crying, and because I was crying so hard, my vision was blurred, and when I looked at my knee I saw that there was a black rough patch on my kne, I was wondering if my cut that I just got already scabbed over? Hell no. So my mom came running over, scooped me up and ran me into the bathroom. She poked at it and kep trying to figure out wtf? (okaywarning a little graphic) She held my knee firmly and pulled it out with ehr nails. Mind you, I didn't feel it and the rock wasnt that big either. S when she took it out, I could litteraly see down into my knee, all 7 layers :P THERE WAS NO BLOOD! ABSOLUTLY NO BLOOD! It was soo kool! And so I din;t want to go get stiches and my mom wouldn't want me to get rushed there and go through all that drama. so we took those white stickers thats wer called 'something stiches'. basically stickers the brang the skin closer together. And then wrapped my leg up. after that, I had a limp cause I had to keep my leg straight. So people thought I was handicaped when I would hobble around on this leg D: latter when it was healing, we would add a liquid banage and wrape it up. it took I think a few weeks to heal, but I had to lern how to bend my knee all over again Best part? The day this all happend, 2 days later I was going on a plane to Ottawa (Canada's capital city) Oh man. I felt so bad! I had to hobble everywhere and my mom felt bad making me walk up stairs lmfao. Anbd till this day, I have a nik on my knee cap:) I can feel around and feel a gash in it :D It's not bad, it's pretty kool. I only have a small scar and you cant see it until you get like really close :P TADA |

One time I was going down a VERY steep hill, and one LITTLE pine cone f'ed up the tire and down I went. |
The worst pain I've ever had was when I broke my thumb, or when I bruised the bone on the arch of my foot. I was really young when I broke my thumb - I slammed it (accidentally) in a french door, and you know they got those twi bits on the door and one part on the frame, so they connect? ... my thumb came out like a zigzag xD
I was screaming like hell :P It broke in two places, and the doctors didn't think I'd ever use it again, but it got better. But I had to stay in the hospital for like, ever. It as awful D: Seriously though, the bit I remember most vividly was not being able to get to sleep (I usually lie with that hand under my head, and any other way is waaay uncomfortable), and the fact that the hospital put butter on their toast - I came from a poor-ish family, so I'd grown up with margerine, and coming out of the operation all groggy and cranky, I GOT THIS TOO-SWEET CRUD ON MY TOAST!! xD I was pissed, even as a kid :D A while back I dropped like an inch-thick pane of glass on my foot, so the edge smashed against the arch - It only hurt a little, but by the end of the afternoon, it had gone scary-purple. By teh evening, it had gone yellow-purple-green and swelled to three times its usual size, and I had to hop around everywhere - painful shiz D: Lol, we carted ourselves all the way to the hospital, thinking it was broken, and then we find out its just a lousy bone bruising! xD |
Well, When I was little I wanted to play with my sister's. But they didn't and so I got mad and threw a banana, I was eating, at them. They got all grossed out and freaked so they told my dad. Now before all that my father was drinking. So when he came out he was pretty mad or he was mad. So then I knew something was up when his heavy foot steps were coming toward me. Then he picked me up and threw me on the floor. Then did it again and even kicked me on the side. My whole sister's were watching and I guess they learned something about not telling on my father again. But the pain was so hurtful I don't know how to explain how hurt I was back then. It felt like nobody liked me then and now it was like I was the black sheep. Dx So for a little child of 7 or 8, it was a pretty painful thing.

Okay...This is going to sound really creepy. xD Please no one think of me as a freak. :3♥
You might get bad images in your head from reading this too. xD Now...This wasn't so much as an injury, but an extremely uncomfortable, painful and scary event. .-." I was getting my third nipple removed! Dx It wasn't a functioning one. So don't get any ideas. It was just a tiny thing that got in the way. (Apparently 1 in 20 people tend to have one. o_O) ANYWAY. When I was on that little operation table and he was cutting it out...UGGGGH Weirdest, most uncomfortable, and frightening feeling I've ever felt in my life. He didn't put me to sleep, instead he just gave me a needle so I wouldn't feel any pain. :o~ Sure enough I didn't feel any pain, but the feeling of getting your nipple slowly cut off was terrifying. It felt like it lasted forever. It's hard to describe, but I always shudder and cringe whenever I think back on it. Dx GAAAAH. About 5 hours later, when the needles effect wore off I was in extreme pain. Like honestly...Ouch. x.x; |
Hmm... don't be graphic? Umm... how not to be graphic... ooh... a math problem =D
Thumb + Horse trailer door =:gonk:I'm sure you can guess what the results were |
I fell 4 meters down the side of a mountain and I hit my head and ruptured my spleen and broke a vertabre but I don't no if it hurt of not at the time coz I was in a coma but it did hurt alot while I was recovering and I didn't get stiches I got staples in my head and stomache (my head had to be drained coz there was a lot of pressure in it, and I still have my spleen) ^^ now I have wicked cool scars^^

I used to have a severe intolerance for wheat products, and it took a year and a half to figure out that that's what it was. Whenever I ate even just one slice of bread, hours later it would feel as though someone kicked me square in the stomach. Basically, my body couldn't digest the food, so it would evacuate it (won't go into the happy details there), and for an hour I'd be doubled over, sweating profusely and pretty much just wanting someone to knock me out, hah. It's all over now. It went away for some reason. I sincerely hope it never decides to come back. O_o
My mom says she "beats all y'all" because when she gave birth to me, she didn't use any pain meds. YIKES. |
My worst physical pain? Giving birth!!!! Haha - well, not quite the giving birth bit, to be honest that wasn't as bad as the actual labour. The contractions! Felt like someone was getting my spine with two hands and pulling it apart. I had gas and air but all it did was numb my hand...which wasn't in pain anyway! I was crying so much I was in so much pain.
Haha, can you believe I'm pregnant again and going to have to go through it all once more?? Why do I do this? Haha |
Hehehe Lauren, My mommy says that the children after the first are always a lot easier! But yea.. I'm not looking forward to being pregnant ; ; I MUST THOUGH.. as I'm sure the end result is worth it

I broke my toe twice, but that wasn't all that bad.
I think the worst injury I've had would have to be when I stepped on a roofing nail. It went all the way through my shoe to my foot, but I just calmly sat down, pulled it out, and cleaned my foot. I was fine, but my dad was the one freaking out. The way he was acting, you'd have thought my foot had been cut off. XD The worst sickness I've had was when I was little. We'd just moved into a new house and after we all started getting sick we realized that the plumming was a bit... questionable. To put it simply, the sewege lines were somehow connected to our drinking water, but in a way that wouldn't be immediately noticeable (we weren't drinking brown water). We all got very ill and if we hadn't caught it, I'm told we might have died. :x |
When I broke my leg... OW! It hurt for over a month.... constant pain... suckage.
|
I'm happy to say that I've never broken a single bone in my body. ^_^
I think the worst physical pain I've ever been in was when I got the tattoo on my back. I'm a skinny person, and the top half of it is on the back of my ribs. It's a woman on the lower right side of my back. One of her hands is on my spine, and I'd rather get mor on my spine than the back of my ribs. Holy crap that was painful! I still have to get part of her finished, but luckily it's only the last half of the color of the dress, which is in the lower fleshy part of my back. I needs monies, first, though!!! |
Perhaps when I had preclampsia..now that was painful..
|
Hmm..it's hard to place my worst physical pain. If I could actually remember the incidents, I'd say when I was three and jumped on my bed, only to fall and hit my head and get a measly 3 stitches (my mom's certain there should have been more). Now I gots a fun scar in the back of my head or when I jumped off a chair "'cause I was a bird" and smashed my nose.
But since I don't remember those, I'll tie it between three: In 4th grade I fell on some gravel and cut up my hands and knees. They a bajillion little shards of rock in them. It hurt a ton. At least at the time. Since then, I've been able to pick gravel from my own toe....hating it all the way but keeping my cool so I didn't worry my friends...=/. Second would have to be when I pulled a muscle in my back...probably doing something in my Tae Kwon Do class. It took me half the night just to get to sleep. >.< And finally: I always get REALLY bad cramps (of the female variety). I remember one morning, I got up and by the time I was downstairs I was struck with some cramps that left me completely incapable of doing anything to relieve them. I did literally EVERYTHING to try to get rid of them. I ended up just running around my house in extreme pain for about an hour. Eventually I gave in, grabbed some pain killers and went to bed. I discovered that lying down only made them feel worse, but I didn't really care anymore. Eventually I just fell asleep and they were better when I woke up. Can't say it's the worst physical pain I'm capable of being in, but it's the worst I've experienced so far. I'm sure there's more to come. Especially since I've decided I wanna try learning several risky activities. Currently in a Scuba class and me and my friend are thinking of going down to North Carolina sometime this summer to try some Hang gliding. XD ---------- Quote:
With the first child, you'll pick it off and clean it, give them a new one and put the old in the dishwasher or something. With the second, you pick it up, rinse it, and stick it back in. By the third, you just pick it up and give it back to them. XD This makes me smirk a little, since my sister's the third. :P |
For how clumsy I am, I haven't had many life changing injuries :O I've broken my arm a couple times around the age of 8, and a big bruised eye from falling and hitting it against a gnome statue we had in the garden at age 5~
:3 |
80 odd hours of labor before getting a c section
|
I had four opperations so far. Tonsilitus was ok, but Appendixitus was really harsh. I have a scar and it hurt like hell. :'(
