He he. I know, but a lot of people call it lame. Mostly people who haven't actually tried it, but still. I feel like I have to preemptively defend it. :)
As for worrying about getting hurt, most of the time no one even gets a bad bruise. There are strict rules on weapon construction, and where to hit, so that it's not that bad. :) |
Ah. I can understand that then.
I would just have to try it while I'm in the mood. Otherwise I'll always have that fear! |
lol. :) You'll love it if you try it. Almost everyone does. There is probably a group wherever you are, if you're in the U.S. Or even a lot of places in Canada. Not sure about the U.K. though, but I think there are a few groups there, and in other parts of Europe.
|
:XD!
I'm East Coast US. I'm sure I could find one somewhere if I really looked for it. |
Oh honey, that's where it started. lol. You might be tripping over the groups out there. There's even another game out there in the Delmarva area called Darkon. They have the same good type of fighting, but with a half decent class and magic system added. It's more like Larp, but I have respect for it completely.
The sport started out in Maryland I think... maybe Virginia, but there are tons of groups out on the East coast. I'm in Colorado, and I have only a few groups out here. Anyways I'm off to fight. :) I'll be back later. Have an awesome day my friend. |
I'm in the motherland!
Oh wow, you're way out there... Have fun! :D |
I did. lol. Now I'm sore, a little bruised and I have a few blisters. XD But I'll be fine in a bit.
|
Ew blisters. :XD
Hate those. |
Me too. They hurt whenever anything touches them. XD
So I was told by a medium today that someone is using the occult against me... |
Uh oh. Did they tell you how to protect against it?
|
They always do. lol. But the spell she said to use is a simple one, so I imagine that the person casting against me isn't very powerful. I plan to pray about it. It's not the first time someone has done this, and others were far more menacing than this one. :) My God can handle it, and protects me quite well.
|
You people are strange
|
@Saro: Woo! Fight 'em! -cheers you on-
@Kah: Opportunities? :O I like Role Models... Funny stuff~ |
I live in Third World South America terrain. No such things as people dressing up and fighting. You'd get robbed before the fight started anyway, heh
|
Oh wow. :O
Real fighting then! |
Someone using the occult around you can generally be turned around by your awareness. If you aren't aware of what is going on then you're more vulnerable. However if you're constantly doing basic protection out of paranoia, and have a better idea of who or what is attacking you, it can be as simple as imagining yourself surrounded on all sides by mirrors and their attack... either disappearing into the sunlight or hitting them back, depending on your temprament, karma, etc.
Our minds are more powerful than we give them credit for. Both individually, and in the collective consciousness. I think about things like this alot. Which is also why the whole 'gender stereotyping' thing to me is so silly. I'm a very spiritual person with a damn near unquenchable thirst for knowledge. |
Indeed Crow. Thing is that I'm nearly immune to things like this one is using. I think I know who it is actually, and it's pissing off a lot of spirits that ought not be pissed off. lol.
On the most deep and basic foundational levels we are truly too similar for gender to matter, but people use it like race, religion, or any other thing they can in order to separate us out into groups. I don't understand how anyone doesn't see that as a race humanity is one. We have the same drives and needs. We all thirst, hunger, feel pleasure and pain, we all want to be loved and accepted, so what is it that makes people try to keep themselves and others separate? |
Why divide because of gender, when we can divide into beliebers and non-beliebers? *is shot*
So, are you gonna get your moms something for this special day? :eager: |
I can't exactly afford to get my mother anything, so I'm just hanging out with her. :)
|
@Kah: I want to visit her, but she lives pretty far away.
I just gave her a phone call. Her husband died this morning though; so that was way unexpected for Mother's day. o 3o |
Oh. That's so sad. :( I'm sorry to hear that.
|
Yah.
I didn't really know him all that well. When I talked to my mom she didn't seem too bad though. He had some skeletal cancer. |
Ugh. I'm so tired of cancer. Why haven't we cured it yet? With the amount of money put toward it we could have built a colony on mars the size of Germany.
|
It could be cured and we just don't know about it. |
Honestly I've often thought that might be the case. More money in treating it than in curing it. Though even if money were taken out of it it could be used to control people you know? Being able to claim things cause cancer is kinda a powerful tool for those with little moral compass.
