good to know. since the only prior experience ive had with the avar community is gaia, im a bit nervous.
plus all the cool clothes on gaia were expensive as hell, and not worth it....... ><

It all depends what you're used to and what you like. I personally like it because it is much more focused on conversation and it focuses on the idea of community.

There's no need to be nervous, most people are very nice here. :)

i only realized gaia was based on some kind of game that i half assedly played, just before i left. it didnt seem very fun.....

I don't know what it is like now. I left in 2009 or was it 2008? Haha, I don't even know. There's always a part of me that considers rejoining since it was my first avatar site but I know I would get sick of it fast. :(

well i was on gaia, but the ever-present jew in me was outraged at the price of decent clothing............
