Your name is being called, do you dare follow? (elements, literate please)
YOUR NAME IS BEING CALLED, do you dare follow? Elements, yippee skippee. «••PLOT••» This is the basic plot so you get the point... the actual RP post will explain it far better, but I detest it when I start reading a RP and realize that it's terrible soooo this is the short version! This is indeed an elemental RP. Your character shall have a dream of a goddess telling them to go to a forest that your village has told you numerous times not to enter. You get to choose whether or not you head in that direction (though, it's more interesting if you do) and the RP ultimately starts once all characters reach there (this is when the RP starts, I will not be waiting for every elemental to be taken and you may join this at any point in time). Only one person per element and each elemental child comes from a different village. You do NOT start off with elemental powers, I will tell you when you have them. You do NOT have to be good, that's what I like about my elemental RP versus other ones. Once your powers are bestowed upon you, you may do as you please. If you want to follow the path of good and continue to listen to the goddess, then do so. If you want to prevent the goddess from her goal, go be evil. If you just want to go home, then do so! You may do whatever you please and what you choose effects the outcome of the RP. Eventually only one chosen will be the lead chosen and the fate of the world will rest upon their shoulders, but we haven't gotten there yet. EDITED IN: I realized I didn't describe the setting... at all xD Sorry! Well, the setting varies on the location of your character. Each character is from a different village and they are all circled around the Forbidden Forest, some closer than others. Each village has different technology (though some sister villages will be similar), different societies, etc. Some still walk around on foot to get places, while others have carriages. No one has really reached CAR state yet though. It's very nature oriented, since trees and other natural things can be found all over the place. So, keep those in mind, kay? And you don't haveta be Asian xD Seems I'm getting a lot of them, which I don't mind, but you don't HAVE to be =P Still interested? Read the rest. «••ELEMENTS••» If it's taken, you can't have it. Don't whine about it =\ NEW!!! (as of 3/2/2010). Each element is a sub of a major element :D Only gods and stuffles get to be the main ones and whatnot. Choose one of the subcategories. Whomever is also in your element branch (ex. Electric and Fire are both part of energy) are more like your brother/sister :3 So, you prooobably get along. Hell, maybe even like each other! But that is on you and the other person. +Also, you'll find out the extent of your powers once you meet the goddess for the second time in the Forbidden Forest, so don't bother asking me about them. Energy Fire :: DearSweetAru Electric :: Rising_Violet Water Water :: AleRae Ice :: Rising Violet Earth Metal :: AleRae Grass (Plants, etc.) :: r_e_n_o_Love Air Flying :: DearSweetAru Air :: AleRae Light Dark :: Alexxxiel Light :: r_e_n_o_Love Psychic Telekinesis :: IS DEAD Telepathy :: DearSweetAru «••RULES••» 1)) All site rules apply here as well. 2)) No godmoding, flooding, powerplaying, Mary Sues, Gary Stues, spamming, double posting, etc. 3)) Romance is allowed, but keep it PG 13 and please keep it realistic. I don't believe in love at first sight, it's called lust. 4)) There won't be TONS of gore, but I go into deep descriptions with PAIN, so, if you can't handle it then don't bother joining because I'm not toning it down for your queasy stomach or sensitive mind. 5)) I don't mind cussing, just don't do it every other sentence because it's annoying. 6)) I want literacy, thank you. If I feel you are illiterate then I won't bother accepting you. I want good, solid posts. Not just one lousy paragraph you pulled out of your ass last minute. I made an effort to make this RP and type all this crap up so you better show some effort in your posts or I don't want you here, got it? AT LEAST TWO SOLID PARAGRAPHS. 7)) Read the dream or you won't understand what the hell is going on (dream will be in the post after this one once the actual RP starts to make things easier, got it?). 8)) I want all profiles PMed to me. I would prefer that this topic is dedicated to the actual RP rather than to you asking me questions and posting profiles. If you have a question, PM me. I don't bite, too much. 9)) Be active. I can't stand it when people join and they leave outta nowhere. 10)) If you read this, make your PM title "Go Eat A Turnip". 11)) If you leave ANYTHING I wrote on the character sheet that isn't something I wanted on it, I will automatically reject you. Example: Name: Your character's name. Crystal. See how STUPID that looks?! 12)) YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE ELEMENTS UNTIL YOU MEET THE GODDESS SO DON'T SUDDENLY KNOW ABOUT THEM. I can't stand people who make their characters know something THEY know, but their characters shouldn't! It's annoying and unrealistic. 13)) I can add to this whenever I please. «••CHARACTER SHEET••» Because it makes my life easier, since the goddess is supposed to understand you and without a character sheet it's kinda hard to understand your character entirely =\ Besides, this is you proving to me just how literate you are. All right? So, prove it! Code:
[img]Your character's picture, I like having them in case I wanna draw the people in my RPs. Pics of real people please o-o no anime. This doesn't mean be you, but yeah.[/img]It's a very simple code, but I don't care. It's what I'm using. |

// Do we start posting, or are you waiting for other people? \\
|
:D Go ahead! Reno may take a bit to post (she just moved into a new house), I'm working on BSing my sheet right now (which won't take long), then my other friend is writing his sheet now o-o but yes! Uh... though I suppose I should make the dream post first, huh? o.0 Lemmee make the dream post then you can start posting =D I'll probably post with my character shortly after.
|
// Great.. would you like me to report my posts to be deleted..? \\
|
((Nah ;3 It's ok. I think people will realize you were just asking a question and it's all good =P Time to pooost! :D I apologize if it ends up short D: I got a couple art requests and gotta make my sheet and I wanna run off and do that.))
However long it took you to sleep, where you were resting, or even how well you were sleeping didn't matter tonight. No matter the circumstance the goddess was bound to enter the Chosens' dreamlands on this very night whether they wanted her to or not. Her soothing voice would echo in their minds as her slender frame floated and glowed before them in a white, luminescent light never seen before. Colorful hair would slowly move about her and flow with her satin dress as if calm breeze was blowing about, yet no wind was there. The woman would gently place her hands upon the Chosen's face and tell them their mission and plead that they meet here in the Forbidden Forest far off from their village in the very center of all villages. They alone would have to figure out how they would get to their destination, since not all villages have the same technology; some were still roaming the land on foot. The goddess's offer will sound tempting to you, but it entirely on each Chosen as to whether they fulfill her wishes and head to the dead center of the Forbidden Forest where rumors have told of hideous monsters lurking in the shadows ready to pounce. Then again, would you honestly believe that such a beauteous being would send you to your doom? As the sun rises into the sky and seeps into each Chosens' window, or blinds them in some other way, you all awake and choose what you shall do next. |
// I'll be going now. Night. I'll post tomorrow. \\

A female voice echoed in Hui’s mind. “Hur? Wazzat? You’re in love with me?” he said while waking up with a start. Only…this was obviously not the real world. He had fallen asleep on a tree branch and this place was a like a gigantic white room with no walls or end. A pretty lady with the nice voice came to him. Hui started to gape at the lovely lady, nice; she was showing some nice amount of skin! The girl’s body seemed to glow and her hair bent and moved slowly as though being blown by a wind that seemed to be passing through Hui as he couldn’t really feel anything. The lady came up to Hui, who was kneeling and put her hand on his face. He didn’t move or get up for some reason and submitted to being looked down upon as she didn’t look like she was scorning him. The lady spoke.
“You have a mission. You must go far from your village and meet at the center of the Forbidden Trees. You alone and you cannot tell anyone else.” With that, the stranger’s body blurred before breaking apart like sand and disappearing in the wind that Hui could still not feel. Waking up in the leaves with a gasp, Hui tried to slow his heart beat to fanthom what his dream meant. Hui never dreamed; at night his only thought were just blank and pitch darkness. The Forbidden Trees eh? It would be a bothersome trip but not by much as he had often ventured into it’s hills with his odd spirit friends. Hui had only traveled on the inner outskirts of the forest and had never ventured into the middle of it. The villagers everywhere spoke of the place with great fear but then again, they thought that Hui’s pals were curses and tried to kill them in the name of Shinto. Scratching his head, Hui reached into his leather pouch to count his money. He had earned sixteen coppers from delivering the tea shop keeper’s message to his daughter-in-law and this amount would be enough to wander around and buy some things to play a few light pranks on the grouchy iron smith. Hui shook his head as the sunrise came into the sky and shaded his eye’s from the glare and greeting of the Sun. Zao An Mr. Tai-Yun, he thought with a nod to the rising yellow before climbing down a few branched of the tree and jumping to land lightly on the floor. The tree that he was resting in was already on the outskirts of the forest anyways. Feeling boredom and curiousity to check if the center of the “curse” was really real; Hui decided that going there wouldn’t be that bad. He had no fear for his life and no one in the village would miss him if he was gone; rather they would probably throw a small party in celibration. Taking a coin out, Hui decided that the old man’s face on the back of the currency would decided whether he went or not. Flipping it, a sudden gust of wind came and swept the coin among the roots of the trees. I guess this decided it, Hui thought as he retrieved the coin and stepped over the roots to head deeper into the trees. For tonight’s dinner he was going to make himself a roasted wild duck. (Zao an: good mornin, Tai-yan means sun; I make such a crappy translation DX)) |
Sasuki had had a long day, preparing for the celebration a week away. She would never miss it. They had been preparing the clothes, her make up, and practicing a couple of hours a day so she wouldn't mess up. Sasuki, though utterly exhausted, still had that tinsy little bit of energy inside her, that excitement for the celebration. She couldn't wait to let go, be free. She would be let in the world and allowed to explore on her own.
As her head hit the pillow that just seemed too familiar, she fell into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds, greeted by a very.. beautiful lady? Sasuki wasn't sure whether she should approve of the lady, she was showing an awful lot of skin. A geisha never shows her skin, every geisha is given layers and layers of clothing, and every geisha chooses who they praise with some sight seeing, if you catch my drift. She couldn't recognize her either, and a slight furrow of her eyebrows told the lady she was frowning in confusion. Sasuki fell in love with the lady's smile. Even though she seemed to seduce men more than necessary, this lady truly was beautiful, and Sasuki could not deny this. But that the lady uses this to her advantage? She did not approve of such an act. The lady didn't seem to care about her disapproval though, since she just shook her head, tutted at Sasuki's thoughts, and continued as if nothing had happened. Sasuki's disapproval shattered once she heard the music made, and she looked around in search for the cd player, her eyes only met with white walls. Was this lady truly speaking such unbelievable music? She shook her head, she wouldn't believe it. Interrupting the lady, she said, "Who are you?" As a response, the lady smiled, and spoke once more, "My identity is not important. I have a mission that I think would be suitable for you," she paused, and noticing Sasuki speechless, continues. "You must enter the Forbidden Forest, alone, no one but you must know about your journey. Follow my guides, and you will not get lost." Before Sasuki could ever get her mind around her task and ask questions, the lady's form shimmered and blurred before disappearing entirely, and she was only allowed a matter of seconds to blink in confusion before she woke up, knowing every detail of the dream. How is that possible? Later that day, Sasuki had a lot on her mind, and that excitement for the celebration had vanished into thin air, and what replaced it was this overwhelming feeling she couldn't describe, as though the mission was her destiny. The mission was risky, going into the Forbidden Forest was not safe, but lady had assured her that if she should follow her guide, she would not get lost. Sasuki was convinced. She decided to check it out round about now, before afternoon, even though it would destroy any of the relationship she had built over the number of years with her step mother. She sighed, it was for her own good, and her mother's. Her mother would know what to do. Getting to work, she packed the most useful things she thought she would need for the journey, took a shower, checked last minute things, before sneaking out the back door. ooc:// I hope this is alright \\ |
((That was fine :D Don't worry :P))
"I can't believe that bastard that he could get away..." Sakyo rolled her faded green eyes as she pulled her sword out of the man's bloody and battered face. A quick glance to examine her clothes for blood and then she was off to return to Sly to inform her that the mission was finally closed. For weeks she had been spying on this man in the shadows, gritting her teeth as he groveled at her knees this very day. No pity lingered in her heart for him. Though he was a family man, he cheated, gambled, and tortured many defenseless souls in his spare time, which was enough to cause her blood to boil and stomach to churn in disgust. "Your family will be better without your pathetic being..." With that, she proceeded to kick his corpse into the proper hole dug for him. Luckily she was far enough in the Forbidden Forest that no one would ever find his body, nor any other body of someone she killed. Of course, for certain missions she would bring the body to the buyer, but Sly insisted she buried him since his body would be hard to deliver. Besides, the man who wanted him gone was willing to come out, dig up the grave enough to see him, and go on his merry way. Some dirt was kicked down, but ultimately the buyer would be the one doing most of the burying. Swiftly she dragged her sword across the grass to clean off the blood then slipped it back into the sheath on her hip before she turned to head home. Home was simple; a cottage that was in the Forbidden Forest enough for Sly to not be disturbed by the nearby villagers. Only the daring and desperate would venture to see her and plead for her "daughter", as they liked to call Kyo, to dispose of someone for a fee, and occasionally information on the whereabouts of her father; though such information was rare. They swore they had seen him, but when she followed their directions he was nowhere to be found. Occasionally she wondered if he was even trying to find her. She swung the door open, causing it to bang against the outer wall and slam behind her as Kyo headed towards her room. Sly was already up, as usual, meditating until she was rudely interrupted. She chuckled, amazed that Sakyo's tiny frame could cause such a ruckus. "Is it safe for me to assume that this man had no valid information as well?" the woman smiled reassuringly, she knew how hard it was for Sakyo each time she was faced with a dead end. "The spirits have informed me that you will be coming into a vast deal of information soon, Kyon." She seemed to float to her feet as she rose and walked over to the frail child. "Do not lose hope... I know your father is looking for you, do not let doubt cloud your mind... You remember him, do you not, Kyon?" The girl nodded. "He was the last person I ever saw before my vision..." She grunted. Sakyo wasn't born blind, only turned that way sometime when she was a toddler. Luckily, no one ever noticed. In fact, only Sly knew of it as far as she knew. Kyo was well adapted to her surroundings. "Then remember him as he was... His aura lingered about you when I found you and I can feel it nearing towards us..." Sly gently kissed Kyo's forehead. "Now... head to bed, an important vision shall be given to you on this very night... The spirits have been telling me about it all morning, but I have insisted that you find out about it on your own." Then she returned to her meditating position without another word. The redhead groaned and rolled her eyes, heading towards her bedroom for a good night's rest after all of the mess she had gone through today. Her sword was set on the floor beside her. For a couple minutes she rolled about before finally sleep took her away from the real world. Blurs of colors swirled about her in dreamland as a soothing voice spoke to her. She screamed at the woman, but she didn't seem to care about what Kyo had to say. On and on the woman went about going deeper into the Forbidden Forest than ever before and insisted that she go. Instantly, Sakyo knew this was the vision Sly had mention. "And why should I go? How does it benefit me?" "Follow this path to adventure and travel... which shall lead you to your father, young Sakyo. Is that not what you have been longing for? Now is your chance to be reunited with whom you were so wrongfully torn from. He loves you, but it too far to find you within the year. If you wish to see him soon, go deep into the Forbidden Forest and there I will give you further instruction. You may tell your foster of this, since she already knew your path long ago, but tell no one else unless they say they are heading in the same direction. Others besides you have been chosen, but your path is yours alone." Then the dream faded, the colors turning to darkness. Her father's face flashed before her then she jolted up, examining the room with her other senses. Sly's aura was on the porch as well as the spirits, but no one was in her room other than herself. It didn't take her long to gather her things and head towards the porch, where Sly sat rocking in her chair petting one of the animal spirits with a soft smile. Sakyo's heart sank, but her composure stayed cold and hardened. "I see you are leaving immediately..." Sly knew this. Sakyo knew she knew this since she had left a bag of supplies by the door for her. "How beautiful was her aura, Kyon?" "Who was she?" "A goddess, a very powerful spirit." She stood up and wrapped her arms around Sakyo in an embrace. "I am certain you will never forget me, Kyon. Return to me one day and tell me of your adventures," Sly pressed Sakyo's face into her bosom, gently stroking her jagged hair. "I remember when you hacked off all of your curls," a chuckle escaped her. There was a long pause before she slowly pushed Sakyo away by placing her hands on her shoulders and placed her forehead against hers. "Be safe." Sakyo held on tightly to her foster mother and then ran off into the distance before she would choose to stay instead. ((OH GOD D: I'm sorry this is so long!)) |
(Wow. Irony, expected to be different and ended up exactly the same as everyone else. XD )
Nana and her granfather looked deeply into each other's eyes. To those who might glance upon them, it seemed like they were having a full conversation by reading each other's mind. After it seemed as though ages had gone by she parted her lips to speak, eyes never leaving her grandfather's. But then his eyes parted from her and up into the sky. "Do not take my silence as disapproval, nor my words. Though I doubt either would have to much effect on your decision," he said, then glanced at her. She nodded, and then he. "Nana-Haru. You are much like yourself." He lifts his hand for silence, knowing she was about to speak. "What I mean is, you are no other person, but yourself. I can see who you are, but it is time you see who you are. All I ask is that you swear to be careful, and to be wise. It appears as though your destiny has alligned with something grand, you need to be attentive." And with that he bopped her on the head with his staff. "Ow! I was listening... sorta," Nana said. She smiled and placed her sword upon her back. "I was just thinking about how this journey could change me. You know, maybe when I come back people will know who I am. I mean besides you Papa. And before you say it, I know it's not important, but I just wanna be able to have at least one friend." And then she got a nudge from her horse and a squake out of her hawk, which made her chuckle. "I mean that's human. I still love you guys though, and you Grandpa. And I promise." Nana gave him a hug and then mounted her horse. "Lead the way Nobu. Follow Miwa." And Just like that she was off. Nobu was her father's hunting hawk. The bird seemed to pocess magical qualities, he had been alive for countless years, and seemed to know the way, no matter where they were going, not to mention he was unusually strong and accountable for many strange events. Miwa, her white stallion, was only magical in Nana's head, and had belonged to her always. She was the colt of her grandmother's horse, who died years ago. (I Promise to do better next time or I'll just edit this later, if nobodies posted. ) |
As Sasuki had left the house, the walk from her house to the edge of the forest was a couple of hours, depending on her pace, and being in the process of becoming a geisha, she would be recognised if seen. So that journey had been very unnerving, she didn't want to be spotted and brought back, she would have no idea what to explain.
The day had grown warmer as it grew later in the afternoon, and by three hours of walking, Sasuki was sweating all over the place. Her backpack was a little too heavy, hitting against the top of her butt as she walked, and on top of that, it was leaning against her shoulders a lot. The sun was the worst, after a few hours, Sasuki developed a sun burn on the back of her neck, and if she didn't get out of the sun or cover it soon, it wouldn't be good. So unfortunate she hadn't thought about sun block. She cursed to herself quietly. After a while, it became too much to bare, and so Sasuki tyed the bandana from her head onto her neck, trying to stick to the shade as much as possible. The forest grew darker the further she walked, and it seemed to get more and more wild, with less human civilization. At one point, Sasuki couldn't take more of her exhaustion and had to stop, and she took out the food she had prepared, along with one of the bottles of water she had taken too. Eating in silence, she allowed herself to get used to for example, sitting on a log of wood, and feeling the earth under her shoes, instead of wooden floor. Sasuki truly loved the nature, but she hadn't much experience of it, so she truly did not know what to think. She had no idea what kind of risks there were in store of her, what kind of danger, but she wasn't going to go back now. She had that feeling that would keep her going. Besides, didn't the goddess tell her she would guide her there in order for her not to get lost? After she had finished her meal, and allowed herself a few minutes rest, she continued her journey, memorizing each tree or shrub that had a uniqueness to it that distinguished it from others, in case of feeling lost. I mean, better safe than sorry right? Birds fluttered overhead and for a moment she lost herself in the wind, listening to the tree's sway, a rabbit hop nearby, and... was that the sound of a water fountain? She smiled. "It's beautiful," she murmured to herself with a smile. Wandering over to the little stream that slowly made its way across the path, she knelt down and washed her face, wincing in slight pleasure as she washed her neck. The sun burn wasn't in a very good state, and it was hurting immensely just moving her neck one way or the other, touching it was a whole different matter. Sasuki was wearing some khaki trousers that were meant for travelling in, with a white shirt. She had a jacket or two in her backpack, along with gloves in case it got cold. But right now the temperature was anything but cold! She could feel the sun's gaze even from under the thickly leaved tree's. Looking at her watch, she realized it was 3:28pm, afternoon was almost ending. Sasuki was tired though, and so she stalled and kept herself sitting at the stream longer, her eyes closed peacefully as she listened to the sounds around her. ooc:// RE-Edited. I hope this ain't too little.. \\ |
((I was thinking of making another character as well lol. I was thinking of putting my electric chick in here xD [I've done this RP before lol] but I unno if I really want to o-o Might be something else o.0 But yes! So we can have more elements instead of just these XD I'll be my air guy if my friend doesn't freakin' join soon =\ You can make another person if you want though :3
Well, when the powers get introduced, don't do anything until you see how I do it xD so you can get an idea what to do :P because not everyone is supposed to have the same reaction to getting their powers :D And no one be afraid of posting, k? Just make sure you don't leave anyone behind and you are fine ;3 I might reply with Sakyo later on today XD)) |
It had been a long day for a certain young girl. Working all day at the coffee shop had exhausted the dark haired Celeste. She had arrived back at home, expecting her mother to be in bed already. Just as Celeste expected, she had walked into a darkened home, hearing her mother's small radio faintly. A sigh escaped the eighteen year old's lips as she hung her coat up, and slipped her shoes off her feet. She ran a hand through her greasy hair as she walked into the kitchen, turning the light on. She took a glass out, and grabbed some milk, pouring it into the glass. She then gulped down the drink, feeling it hit her stomach with satisfaction. She had missed her break today, which wasn't normal, but another waiter had called in sick. Her town was just starting to get into the technical stuff, like radios and phones. It was a new thing, but Celeste didn;t really pay much attention to the growing industry. She just wanted to sleep, so she put the milk away and headed up the stairs to her room. She closed the door and leaned against it, her eyes gently closed. She could fall asleep right there if she really wanted to. She took off her clothes and slipped on her pj pants and top. Climbing into bed, Celeste drifted off to sleep.
It seemed like minutes later, Celeste's eyes slowly opened. She squinted at the sudden brightness of an unfamiliar room. She looked around, and soon came face to face with a woman. This woman didn't look like any woman, she was absolutely gorgeous! Her skin was flawless, her eyes were like gems, and Celeste didn't even notice how little the woman was wearing. She couldn't form any words, so she just stared as the woman gave her a kind smile. "Celeste, I have a mission for you. Now, you must not say a word about this, and you must go alone. I need you to travel to the center of the Forbidden Forest. There you will go and wait further instruction. I will guide yo should you get lost" she told Celeste, who's jaw had dropped. Celeste was about to form her first word when the woman seemed to fade away into thin air. Celeste's dark brown eyes blinked a few times, and then quickly sat up. She was awake now, and found herself looking around her room. It was daytime again, and she wondered how long she had been asleep. Her mother would have been off at work by now, and Celeste had this feeling that she should go to the center of the Forbidden Forest. Almost like she would find all her problems go away if she were to listen to the woman. She got up, and quickly ran to the washroom to take a shower. About 30 minutes later, she slipped on some clothes, and headed to the front door. She skidded to a stop, figuring she should leave some kind of note for her mom. >Dear Mom I decided to go on a small adventure...I don't know when I will be back, but I will be back eventually I assume. I love you, and don't worry about me, kay? Just tell Sophia that I won't be at work for a little while, and give her my sincere apology. This adventure seems really important, and I feel like I will find something that I never thought I could find. It's weird, I will talk to you later though, kay? Bye!< With that, she packed a few things, slipped on her shoes, and left the house. She was eager to find out why she was told to go to the center of the most dangerous place around, but she decided she would have to see for herself. It would take a while to walk, but she was up for anything right now. |
MY FRIEND HAS SUGGESTED SOMETHING PEOPLE NEEDTA READ!... because I want your opinions on it.
((I was telling him about how people seem to wanna play more than one character and such, but the other elements would cause godmoding, so he told me to break down the already made elements into something smaller :D Ex: Earth into Steel and Grass instead of just Earth. So there'd be two earth like people, one controlling more natural stuff like flowers, plants, etc. and the other would be controlling the metals. Fire being a sub of energy (probably electric being a sub of energy too) I could probably add Ice two be like a second to water. Psychic put down into like... one person has telekinesis, another telepathy... something like that. What do you guys think?)) |
ooc:// Personally, I think the idea is good, we can introduce the 'soul mates' idea to make it more twisted and complicated, along with being able to have more people. And the powers could be slightly more interesting, being narrowed down to a specific substance or element. Also, thought it was a good idea to mention I finished my post. My character is getting lonely! Plus, we need more guys, so I would suggest you only accept guys until we're a little more balanced. \\ |
OOC•• I like the idea too^^ That way we can also have more people intertwined into this role play and have more fun with it :) |
((Yeah, that's why I made a guy character lol. I noticed I'm only playing redheads though o___O My friend (reno) is gonna make a guy character as well so that would make us have.... *counts on fingers* Threeee? XD I should start only accepting guys, I suppose. More balance and whatnot.
So I will go split the elements now :D Because Reno would probably think it's a good idea and Malice just deals with whatever I say (I know Reno in real life and met Malice on a different site, just so you know). Once they are set up, you guys get first pick as to which sub thing you want.)) ---------- Thinking up sub categories for everything is much harder than I thought @[email protected] ---------- I love that this thing just adds to my post like I really hit edit. Anyway, I added the subcategories, go ahead and choose one if it ends up that you needed to. Dark didn't change, so that is left alone xD I'm changing my second element once everyone has chosen their new sub thing, I don't exactly wanna be in the same category with myself XD |
ooc:// Yeah I was wondering how you were going to split it in two. Just a question, what does the element water include power wise? Any ideas? \\ |
((EDIT: YAY :D Not double post! ))
Fredrickson's was a high end and well known store across the land, many would come to this village for the sole purpose of looking at what the industry had to offer. They prided themselves on being unique by taking clothes to the next level by adding a touch of color no one before them had thought of using next to each other or even by throwing in every day items onto it such as paper clips and screws. The people of this village had grown used to the abnormal taste of Fredrickson's and many were well acquainted with it since if they did not wear something of theirs then surely a friend or family member would. It would shock them when they visited another village that the residents there would cock their heads and, on the rare occurrence, sneer. Their clothes were so outlandish and of a new age that some villages stuck in their old ways just couldn't handle it. Crim was unaware of any of that as he worked at Fredrickson's every day of his teenage life as the head cashier. The managers adored him, especially because he wore their clothing every day even when he didn't work. To him, the clothing was a work of art and he admired his bosses for being able to create such colorful and unique clothing that anyone could wear, so why not buy it when he got paid? He got an employee's discount anyway, which made it cost the same as any of the average clothes he would see in the other shops. Every day Crim woke up, opened the shop, waited for one of the adults to come in, then headed to school. After school he would hang out with his friends until it was time for work, then afterwards would do homework and go to sleep. In between he would get pummeled by bullies and picked on. Today was different though. It would be, surely. He had the most wonderful dream last night of a beautiful woman who glowed such colors he had never seen before that. Crim desperately wanted to tell his bosses about them for a new clothesline, but he knew he had to see her again. On this very day Crim would do something he had never done before: do something that would benefit solely himself. His friends, family, and coworkers gained nothing by him leaving, but he had to follow her. Crim threw his essentials into a small backpack designed by Fredrickson's then wrote up a quick note for his parents, friends, and his bosses. It was short and to the point, ensuring them that he would return, but he had to do this for himself and that he hoped they would be proud of him for choosing such a path. With that the little punk boy swung his bag over his left shoulder and ran down the path that led to the dark forest he didn't dare enter otherwise. The dark atmosphere terrified Crim, as it always had throughout his childhood, but this forest was different than the shadows at home. It was almost... eery in a way he hadn't dealt with yet. At home his mom would leave the hallway light on for him until he was fast asleep or would get him a new lightbulb for his nightlight, but now he had none of that. He had to rely on his eyes to navigate him and his gut to tell him which way to go, since he was terrible with directions. Ah, how he wished he had thought of that before he rushed away from home! This carelessness caused him to go off in the entirely wrong direction: to the right. Instead of heading straight into the forest, Crim allowed the sounds around him to startle him and, without realizing it, he was heading the wrong way. "Please don't kill me... Please don't kill me..." He trembled, staring out into the darkness. "Shooosh," then a whimper while flicking at his chest. Crim was trying to make his heart stop pounding, fearing that the creatures nearby could spot him that way. Thump, thump, thump... "Pleeeease shooosh," he pleaded with his heart in a soft whimper, but it effected nothing. While staring down at his chest, Crim whammed the top of his head against a tree knocking him to the ground. Tears began to swell up in his eyes, his lips quivered, and he stared at the tree in a state of shock, but then he heard something: leaves being stepped on. He didn't want to turn his head to find out what was coming towards him. Desperately he prayed the creature would disappear, but the crunching grew louder and louder. "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" he cried and pulled at his crimson fluff of a mohawk. His knees were to his chest and he rocked back and forth. A couple minutes passed before Crim realized that the creature was human who had just sat down by a stream and his face flushed a deep red similar to his hair. ANOTHER EDIT: I have a vague idea as to what it shall incline xD but I'll be thinking more about it during class. My mind is boggled at the moment. I r having womanly cramps, not fun. |
ooc:// Sorry, at the moment, I JUST finished a post I had started yesterday, and my character was alone, I dont want to conjure up another post of her alone, since I find it difficult to produce three paragraphs of that, so I was wondering since we're both on, if you could edit Crim's post and find my character >.< \\ |

Sasuki had been intently listening to what was happening around her, so when she began to hear screaming, the forehead that had been clear and peaceful wrinkled into a frown. She tried to distinguish what the person was saying, which later she found out to be a guy, but she couldn't figure it out inbetween his sobs and pleads. She eventually figured out he was asking her not to kill him, crying like a six year old would. Her first reaction was, great, we've got company! I thought I was the only one alive here..! But then she took a good look at him, and the frown only increased as she realized what he was wearing. Who in the world was he? She'd never seen someone dress the way he had, and she didn't know how to judge it. Yes, it was creative and unique, but in her village, people would consider him badly dressed. If she thought about it carefully, he wasn't... well.. he wasn't that bad at least. And what about his hair? She hadn't ever seen someone with hair like that! She wouldn't even go down that road..
Sasuki was quiet at first as she soaked him in, she was like a sponge, she needed a few moments to process the information and soak it in before anything changed from her expression, which at the moment was a frown included with some shocked blinking. After she had finally resolved to speak, she didn't know what to say. Hell, she didn't know what to think of him! Was he some creep? Or a nice guy? Was he some guy she could trust? Did he spell trouble.. with a promise? She went through these questions silently. He didn't look like a creep.. or too much of one, she decided wearily. She couldn't see whether he was a nice guy, but he didn't look like an asshole. She didn't think she should trust him, not now, not yet, she didn't know him. And the last question.. trouble? She didn't think so. With that resolved, she took a small step forward, trying her most innocent expression so that he wouldn't still think she was going to kill him, and gave a slight smile, friendly, she was settling for a friendly meeting, unless he decided to start a fight, she was ready. Though hopefully he wouldn't go near the back of her neck. Just thinking of it made her remember and wince in pain. The thing that seemed to have her breathing out in relief was the fact that he flushed a crimson red, a similar colour to his hair. This means he knows embarassment right? And that usually means he's at least partly sane. Phew! She drew out a sigh in relief. "Uhm... hi there!" she exclaimed with her bestest friendly look, though she felt rather awkward, as if she were talking to an alien. She shifted her weight on her right foot, standing awkwardly before him. "I.. uh.. Where did you come from?" she asks with a curious expression, settling to find out as much about him to figure out whether she should trust him or not. I must say though, I wasn't looking forward to being out here alone.. especially at night! He might be a creep, but atleast I won't be alone, she thought optimisticly. ooc:// Am finished. I'm so sorry, my posts don't seem to be a match to yours! D;; \\ |
