((Yes D: GET BETTA RYNNN

and... my boyfriend has voted! Jamilah is in this RP too xDDD))

A chuckle escaped the bat demon as he cocked his head back to get some hair out of his face, digging his hands deep into his intricately detailed black and white patterned skinny pants. "A series of events led you to the middle of the Forbidden Forest? Where everyone fears to go? Must have been quite an event." He was rather skeptical of the strange man's reasoning, but he was far too nosy to leave just yet. Thoughts ran about his head as his shoulder devil and angel argued with each other over what to do about this man. Killing him was unnecessary, the forest could easily do that on its own if he made any false movements. Leaving him to fend for himself, however, was quite rude, which Kyoko detested being that way when he had no reason to treat this man horribly. Be a gentleman, his mother had always told him. Unless the stranger poses a threat or the person is an enemy... He kicked at the ground with the heel of his black boots.

The shoulder angel was beginning to win this fight. "I gave my extra clothes to a girl who was on fire earlier, otherwise I would lend you a pair. I am not too fond of seeing a man roam about in the nude." He sighed and shook his head in dismay, scowling at himself for even contemplating his next action. Not because he should of thought of it sooner, but because he shouldn't have thought of it at all. I know she is already displeased with me for leaving home and never contacting her since... A scowl appeared, though it was at himself and not Nobu, though only he knew this as he crossed his arms over his chest. Kyoko then mumbled some words under his breath.

Besides him a puff of red smoke appeared and gradually the smoke formed the silhouette of woman. This figure faded into a curvaceous woman with wild black hair, eyes of fire, and skin tanner than the desert. Instead of legs she had smoke the color of flames, much like any genie or jinn would. She gritted her teeth, her plump, red lips quivering in pure rage as she glared down at Kyoko. "Eight years later you dare to summon me, boy?" the woman hissed, not even noticing Nobu nearby. "What is it, pest? What the hell could you possibly want from Jamilah after eight years?"

Kyoko frowned then bit his tongue, he did deserve what she said. "I have a favor to ask..."

"What? And I am to just give it to you? Grant you any wish you please? If you do not recall, you do not have the object that I am stuck to, brat. I have no reason to grant the wish of a selfish runt who runs off without even informing their own friend. Or was I not a friend to you? Or maybe that is how you choose to treat people you care about: like shit." Again she hissed at him, the scowl permanent across her brow. Jamilah's nails tapped rapidly against her smooth, dark skin with her head arched slightly upwards to make Kyoko feel lower than her.

The man bit his lip, he was seriously beginning to regret ever summoning her. "Miss Jamilah..."

"Why so formal, traitor?" She sneered.

"Please listen!" He placed his hands on his hips and glared right back up at her. "This wish is not for me entirely, Miss Jamilah. I do not like seeing naked men and I doubt that this man likes to roam about freely so everyone can see him! If you would be so kind, could you please get him some clothes?" Finally, he got his point out. Shoulder angel won.

The scowl disappeared as she was now perplexed. "Naked men?" Jamilah's head tilted to the side, slowly turning away from Kyoko to find this naked man. She blinked a couple times then narrowed her eyes. "All you summoned me for is to make that man have clothes?"

"Yes."

There was a brief pause. "How unselfish of you..."

"Not in the least, I do not enjoy seeing male genitals in my presence."

"Indeed.... I, however," a sly grin crossed over her face. "do not mind it in the least."

"Miss Jamilah! Would you stop raping the poor man with your eyes and give him some damned clothes?" Kyoko threw down his arms in a small sort of tantrum.

"B-but..." Jamilah then groaned, dropping her arms to her sides. "Fine, all right... Ruin my fun. Summon me after eight years of being missing and you refuse to even let me be entertained with this, especially since you know I adore dark hair..." She pouted briefly before mumbling something in her ancient tongue, causing clothes to appear upon Nobu. "Happy, pest? The man has clothes now. Do you want to wish me gone now? Should I leave and wait another eight years for you to want me?"

"You do not understand... I did not leave because of you... I couldn't tell you."

"Why not, Skai?" it was then that the woman's face softened; it was then that it was clear that this man had hurt her deeply. "Why couldn't you, at the very least, explain it to me before you left?"

Kyoko did not reply out loud and merely shook his head, keeping his eyes low to the ground. "Now is not the time..." he finally managed before facing Nobu once again. "I hope they are to your liking, I truly do not want to see your genitals flailing about in my presence. If you prefer to not have clothes, then you may discard them once I leave." He took a couple more steps toward Nobu, though he was trying to take steps away from Jamilah. "If you want safety, you may continue North from here. There are people there who can help you." Referring to the "good" group that was not too far away from the center, since they have no traveled much. "I intend to leave soon."

Again Jamilah gritted her teeth, feeling ignored by Kyoko enraged her. She floated over to Nobu, her eyes traveling across every inch of his body before she locked her eyes with his with a smile. "If you prefer a different style of clothes, do not hesitate to ask," she smiled a rather toothy smile. "My name is Jamilah Kadira Ali, but Jamilah will do just fine. May I acquire your name?"

Every part of Kyoko's current stance revealed how angry he was getting at the Jinn. He had stomped his right foot down once and clenched his hands down to fists with his teeth revealed and grinding down against each other rather hard, his shoulders up against his head with his body trembling uncontrollably. Within a matter of minutes he regained his composure, returning to his usual calm self.

Normally a hand on her torso would send Sakyo into a state of panic with her sword drawn, but the smells were far to intoxicating for her. "Heh... Yeah, not hard to find at all, smartass..." Her legs wobbled slightly, her right hand tightly gripping onto Raphael's sleeve to prevent her from colliding with the concrete. "Back?" she mumbled. There was a brief nod before she quickly hopped onto his back, laying her head on his right shoulder with her arms wrapped tightly about his neck. Her legs were sort of wrapped around his torso, but, if you did not know already, Sakyo is a rather small individual. "I hope we find her soon... I cannot stand the smells of this wretched place... How can they live like this?"

((REAL POST IS REAL, LADIES AND GENTS! Ignore Aru's sad attempt to be sexy man and native american woman! >3 ))

Makael watched Kiel and Crim interact. He knew Crim was possible contender status for Kiel's affection, but it wasn't all that dramatic to him. One, he thought himself the better prize, and two, it was just lust. It wouldn't eat him up inside.. Like it clearly was the young air element doomed to be Crim's poor partner. Makael walked over to the two young boys and without invading the two of them's moment, clapped Crim on the shoulder. He had been waiting for things to settle down, activity wise, before speaking. "Don't worry young one, if you say your name or not, your our group. That makes you his partner, from what I reckon." He smiled at Kiel. ""And your assessment is quite right. Mute or not, I would accept you, lavish you in fact. That is neither here nor there though, you should watch your throat if it is frail."

He had bowed deeply to the Mother Spirit when she had bade herself leave. He smiled at Kiel and Crim both expectantly. "Well boys, why should we leave all the hard work for the ladies? Want me to show you a trick or two about setting up shelter?" He had several buckskin shelters at his disposal. He figured he would be joining a group. Might as well show the green skins what they were doing... and it gave him a fine reason to be "competitive" with Aponi...

Aponi herself had recognized Kiel's moment with Crim. Though she had had her own words to impart to the Flying element. "Perhaps it takes all kinds, does it not, Crim of the Flying element? I myself have not spoken my full name. Everyone assures me that when I am ready or when my calling comes, I will find the strength. And that I can take support from those around me. If they would offer it to me, surely they would offer it to one sure as yourself." She placed a fist to her palm and bowed low to him. Then she went to Emily's side.

She noticed she was feeling meek, without knowing why. It concerned her if she was going to be dealing with fire in that mode. It was dangerous. So she knelt beside the shaky young girl and reaffirmed her grip on the flint and tender. She whispered softly, so as not to spook her she told herself.. That's only part of it.. Isn't it? Her inner voice needed to shut up. "You need to be strong with fire, if you intend to use it. Do you want my help? I am skilled in the ways of making camp and setting up for a night for large groups. My people are still tribal after all." She didn't mean to sound braggy..

Makael might as well have been throwing daggers at the back of Aponi's head, the more she touched and interacted with his other the more annoyed he became at her general presence.. He wanted to get her to himself and talk to her as elemental partners, but that never seemed possible.. He irrationally blamed the girl he could tell was crushing on her. He felt a big brother instinct to protect Emily and he felt like Aponi was bad news. AND she knew Kiel?! More infuriating.

Scavery shrugged his shoulders, and smiled half heartedly. He had an excellent story to back up his words, however, Kyoko’s mind seemed to grow a bit preoccupied. He appeared as though he was fiercely debating something amongst himself. Had he not felt it rude, he would have seized the chance to slip out of here. Of course with his luck now he would have been caught.

His eyes had not once wavered away from Kyoko, and when he was addressed again, he nodded. “Quite understandable. Heh. I guess I’ve managed to gain a role in bad luck. Swell!” Once again Kyoko went into a fit of debate, and Scavery was at a loss for action. It seemed very impossible that he could stir up some much thought in the man. Though his current ensemble would beg to differ. He was actually beginning to feel the awkwardness of the situation.

Scavery heard the sound of muttered words, forcing his brow raise. His curiosity grew more as the red smoke appeared, taking the form of a woman. A very cross, yet attractive woman. Boy did he wish he could just gain the will to slip out at this point. His curiosity burned all the same, halting him in his steps. Scavery wondered at the new presence, while listening. He suddenly snapped out of his studious state as he became the subject of attention. His eyes followed in the same path as the woman, his cheeks becoming a pale shade of red. He touched his cheek as he felt the warmness of it spread. Such thing had become so foreign to him. So much so that he had barely noticed that he was now wearing clothes.

“North. Indeed, I shall take that advice,”
Scavery said. His fingers slid down to his clothes, and he rubbed the fabric between his fingers. It had been such a very long time. It was nice to have the gentle material against his skin, surely better than being bare or covered in feathers. He glanced up at Jamilah slightly jumping at the surprise of her becoming so near. “The names Scavery Miss. Pleasure to meet you. And the clothes suit me just fine, thank you.” He hardly noticed Kyoko’s little fit, he was to entranced by the jinn. It caused his hold of the tree to loosen, almost making him stumble backwards. He was able to catch himself last minute by using his other hand.

================================================== ==========================

“You’ll see,” Raphael said. He waited till she was situated before he rose up. This routine where he actually cared for her was starting to grow on him. Maybe it was more that he needed her, than she needed him, or maybe it was both. At any rate it was nice to have a companion in his travels. Especially one that could keep up with him. “Don’t worry… we will find her soon. I promise.” He gave a look to Kamrin delivering on his word that he could follow them if he chose. His steps were steady as he inhaled the scents. Out of all them he needed to find one that didn’t match ones he had smelled before or one that stood out completely from the others. At this point Raphael would take any help he could get. There was a point where he wanted to give up, yet he still pressed on. Finally one revealed itself. A boastful smile crept across his lips. “Sooner than expected. Hold on to me tight.” He crouched in preparation, and then took off at high speed.

Crim smiled at the reassurance that Makael gave him. It was nice to hear that they wouldn't abandon him, even though there was nothing he could give to the group that may help them on their quest towards their next destination. I gotta... do something useful... I... I can... I can cheer them on! Yeah! a grin returned to his once devastated face at this realization. When you came from a town where all you were was a cashier who helped around the house there wasn't much you could contribute to a group on an adventure in the wilderness. At the very least Crim could be the one who made them feel like they could keep going even when they lost all faith in moving on. "Yay!" the boy jumped up and down while listening to what Makael was telling Kiel. "I'd be here too, Kiel! I wouldn't leave if ya couldn't speak. That'd be mean! Who would do somethin' like that?" He pouted.

"Ooooo! You know how to camp, Makael? Yeah! Can you show us puh-leeeeease? I wanna learn so I can help out too."

He then smiled at Aponi. "Thanks, Aponi. It was Aponi, right? I don't wanna be getting names wrong..." Crim frowned, worried he may have said it wrong.

"Scavery? What an interesting name. Would you like a cane of some sort, love?" the jinn grinned a toothy grin, revealing all of her pearly whites that highly contrasted against her relatively dark skin. "You seem to be quite wobbly at the moment and I do not suppose you plan on leaning against that tree for the rest of the night." Jamilah let out a soft chuckle. Even though she was the one who provided him with clothes, she was already undressing him with her eyes over and over again. Kyoko's hissy fit did nothing to her as she was too obsessed with Scavery to even care that he didn't speak to her for eight years now. She leaned an elbow against the tree he was using to stay still, the grin still spread wide.

"You can go home now, Miss Jamilah!" Kyoko snapped, his left eye twitching uncontrollably due to his rage. Her flirting about so nonchalantly bothered him to no end. "I did not summon you to flirt with the man, nor would I ever summon you for such a moronic reason. Now return home and leave me and this man be!" He hissed, though it was unintentional. No one else ever managed to get him this aggravated, only she knew how to push his buttons just right to cause such a reaction. The angrier he became the more his body change to resemble that of his bat as his wings spread out and his fangs grew longer as did his ears that were bent down because of how displeased he was.

"Go home? Why on earth would I go home now? That village it quite the bore, you know. Besides..." she sneered then let out a menacing snicker. "You summoned me by spell, I could have gladly ignored your wishes. Do you have my object to control me? I think not." Besides, Skai, you know how I adore dark hair... It was your own fault for not knowing better before summoning. Well, not remembering that fine little detail about me. Go play with your chosens, young one. I am far too preoccupied to care any longer for someone who would readily abandon their best friend for eight years without any reason to speak of.

Get out of my head! OUT OUT OUT! The two of them glared at each other in silence as they argued telepathically so Scavery could hear none of it.

The entire time Sakyo kept her grip firm on Raphael to prevent herself from falling off anywhere. Nausea was winning the war with her body, though she refused to throw up, especially not on him. "What are you? A dog of some sort?" her face pressed against his back to get away from the smells swarming about her in some pathetic hope to get her stomach to settle down. She tightened her grip as her nausea worsened. "Why does she have to be so deep in this mess? Why not be on the edge of the forest or be in a town that smells nicer? In a town that doesn't massacre animals like this..." Sakyo pushed her face against his back harder as the need to puke intensified, it was then that she realized he could smell him. Her eyes closed while she took in his scent, a nice smell she had yet to smell before. It allowed her to escape the foul odor that had been surrounding her.

Emilia felt sad when Sly left, but there was more to it than that. The girl was also growing paranoid about what she had done and would be doing as she went through the forest. Would lighting a fire be a disrespect to the creatures that lived here? The smoke would choke them, and perhaps they needed the twigs that Emilia had stolen in order to build homes.. The paranoia was not good especially when added to the people that were nearby.

When Nana cleared her throat, Emilia jumped. However she was able to continue placing the kindling into the firepit she had built while she listened to her. However it was the last comment that surprised Emilia the most, and she froze for a few moments. Just when Aponi decided to come up behind her and take hold of her hands. That did no good for the girl's panic, however she figured she was among people that meant her no harm, that was one of the only things that saved Aponi from a violent start.

Emilia cringed, eyes closing tightly as she tried to remember how to breath. Slowly breathing came more naturally as she listened to Aponi, however this is where Emilia could be a little surprising because she felt angry at Aponi at first. Only because she thought that the sickly girl was trying to imply that Emilia didn't know how to set a fire, however Emily had to concede that Aponi might be better at setting up for a larger group.. After all the ice elemental had only worried about one person, herself.

"O-okay.." Not knowing how to take the close contact, Emilia just slipped away from Aponi, letting her having the flint and tender. Okay? That was all that the fidgety one had to say? Well yeah, Emilia was also fighting with what Nana-Haru had told her just moments ago about Emily being a real friend to her. So she was fiddling with her hair, entangling both of her hands into it. On a whim she tossed a look at Makael, and immediately wondered why. Perhaps she looked to him because he was her partner, the shakiest smile appeared before she turned her attention back to Nana-Haru. Emily had to take a deep breath, she almost felt like she was about to cry from all that was going on, but she knew how silly that would be.

"I've n-never h-had a real friend e-either... N-not without f-feathers..." This time her smile was more sure, and she even glanced at Aponi, for she considered the awkward, sickly girl a friend too. Or at least she considered the two girls friends now that she thought about it. If Nana-Haru hadn't brought it up, Emilia would have continued to leave herself feeling distanced, whether she trusted them or not.

Kamrin felt a spike of jealousy at the interaction between Raphael and Sakyo, however he refused to hold a grudge against Raphael for acting protectively. How could Kamrin know anything of their past? So he decided to answer them nonetheless. "Sounds 'bout right. Why wouldya go off 'n follow a lady with more power n' her pinky finger than ya got in yer 'old body?" Weird way to put that, but perhaps it reflected the cynicism he felt for the others that followed the Goddess almost blindly.

Taking a deep drag off of his cigarette he continued, "I got 'lectricity." As proof he held up his hand, with the cigarette in it and let the sparks jump between his fingers, ruining the tobacco-stick which he let fall to the ground. Kamrin then watched with some agitation as Raphael took care of Sakyo. A new idea came to his head and he started to search his pockets for something in particular, not really hearing Raphael ask if he knew where the woman in question was. So it wasn't until the man took off with Kamrin's partner that Kamrin finally looked up, a necklace in hand.

"Fuggit..." He watched them take off and sighed heavily, feeling like he wanted another smoke. The necklace was one he had learned to make a long time ago, out of the essential ingredients for potpourri. It had always made him feel better when the sickening scents of Lilia started to bother the half-elf by warding away the grease and reminding him of the relaxing scents of the forest, and home.

Rolling his eyes, Kamrin had intended the necklace for the lady he was fancying, instead he put it around his own neck and walked into the city. Of course there were always rumors that floated around the city, he had a good idea of where this wish-granting woman was. He had no idea what Raphael and Sakyo were following, maybe they would get there before him.. perhaps not.

Taking several short cuts, pausing only to confirm his way by asking strangers here and there, he soon arrived to the house that the woman supposedly might be living. However Kamrin through that he deserved another relaxing smoke before going in and confirming his destination. If it was the wrong place, then he would go on a search for Sakyo and Raphael, the man didn't want to lose his partner.. Sakyo might be the key to unlocking the true potential of his new powers.

[Psshhh. Awesome as usual.]

“Yes. My older sister’s clever idea of shortening her former idea of Scavenger,” Scavery said gleaming. He had absolutely no problem at all with the name. His family had a custom of having strange name, it was just another reminder of them. “And actually a cane would be… lovely. Mmm. Thanks….” Once again his cheeks flushed. There was just something about that look she was giving him. A look that made him feel a tad uncomfortable.

Oh and then Kyoko’s sudden out burst just nearly made him jump out of his skin. Only because he had been so deeply distracted by Jamilah. He found her attractive, and her attention to him did not help any, Kyoko, despite this, gave way for opportunity. They were now, well, they appeared to be having an argument. He did recall Kyoko having telepathy. I wonder what ever happened to his partner… Scavery thought to himself. It had just dawned upon him that the boy that had assisted Nana earlier never showed up amongst the group. And why is he back here? Scavery quickly observed the scene. As far as he could tell there was no evidence of a struggle. Perhaps he had decided to venture another path, he would have to only hope, and think of it no further. Not while Kyoko was around. Whatever was going on seemed to be holding the bat demons attention, and he didn’t know the full extent of Kyoko’s capabilities. Either way he needed to get out of here. He had no intention of entering the group yet. He needed to retrieve something first, and needed to be a little less obvious of who he had formally been. It wasn’t time to reveal that, including the details behind it.

Very quietly, and carefully he sunk down to the ground, and began to crawl into the foliage. This would be so much better if I had my wings… if only I knew what kind of reaction to expect. Crawl. Of course with my luck he’s already figured out that I’m demon. Crawl. Snap. Blast. He rolled his eyes. And of course one of them is bound to have heard.

================================================== ==========================

Nana was very patient when Aponi stepped in on them. It was nice to have her around to make Emelia feel more comfortable. She was almost afraid when Emelia had froze. She thought that she might have said the wrong thing. It was also nice to hear what Aponi had to say. In some kind of way she made her think of her grandfather. He always seemed to know what to do to fix everything. From what she had gathered, Aponi seemed to be that kind of person.

“Heh. Yes. I do have my own feathered friend, and of course my furry one too, but all the same it is good to have a friend who is a person,” she said with a giggle. She covered her mouth. Her cheeks became a pale pink against her skin. Nana absolutely hated her laugh, which seemed to often times come out as a childish giggle. Her eyes traveled over to Aponi. “And I know it wasn’t for me, but thank you Aponi for going after Emelia, and bringing her back safely.”

================================================== ==========================

[And here's the part where I got to be an ass for a brief moment of time. I'm sure you'll figure a way out of it though.]

Amusement was clearly set upon Raphael’s face when Sakyo dared to compare him with a dog. “Neh. A hella of a lot less domesticated.” he said. A dog, really? It was far to tempting to laugh. “I’m a wolf demon. Similar, but far from the same.” He could sense they were growing closer. “Don’t worry I’ll get you to her soon, and get you out even quicker. Just don’t go wastin your wish on it before hand.” He leaped down onto an approaching building. “Trust me I know its tempting. The only reason I’m not standing on edge about it is because when you travel as much as I do, and have been to as many places as I have, you get used to such things. If you live much longer, you may have to deal with the world replicating this hell hole. Another good reason for death not being such a bad thing.” This was really ridiculous though, and all to make money, and life easier. Didn’t they realize that they were just going to destroy themselves, and everything else in the process. At this point it looked like he was going to take up climbing buildings as opposed to climbing trees. Look up towards the sky! It’s a gorilla! It’s a caveman! No! It’s Raphael, the crazed wolf man! People really were idiots….

His nerves flinched as she took in his scent. Her change of breaths indicated to him that his scent was helping her. It brought him joy. She wasn’t suffering.
While Kamrin had decided to ask for directions, Raphael obviously used nothing other than his sense of smell. Even though Kamrin had arrived at his destination a bit before them, he was sadly not at the correct one. In fact he was very close to being half way from it, and had not only done that, but actually ended up six houses down from where the woman used to live. [Very unfortunate for him.]

“We’re here.”
The bell rang, and Raphael knelt down. They were in a book store, one filled with many old books. Raphael knelt down so that she was able to get off of his back. “She’ll be behind that bookcase over there. I can wait here for you, or I can go with you. The choice is yours. Either way I’ll be here for you.” He reassured her with a smile. Raphael had noticed that Kamrin was no longer in their midst, once again, it just wasn’t one of his priorities. As for him being Sakyo’s partner, that would have to be something addressed once the matter needed necessary attention. It would be Sakyo’s decision on how to deal with him, so long as he didn’t step out of line.

Looking around slowly he gazed over Crim, Hmm, he is kinda sweet, I could see us being really close. then he looked up and down Makael, and I can surely see this guy as my dream lover... He sighed heavily then smiled to hide his emotion. "Though... Crim, the guardian had told me and Aponi that, since you and Zephyr are with us, we will be able to reach the mountain quickly... I am afraid that when that time comes, we may need you ... a whole lot, so, you are needed too. We all will be."
He just wanted to let Crim know that he is needed just like the rest of us are, and were all here for him, though he seemed to have worded his thoughts wrong which then made him make a awkward scrunched up face. "sorry I do not believe that came out right... we are all needed, and we are all here for each other now, and that is what matters...." Kiel then looked to Makael again and ran back up next to him and poked at his flesh that was showing above his shirt collar. "Fine I will take better care of my throat, but only since it is you that is mentioning it. " He smiled at the two that were giving him comfort about his indifference's and hugged them both together.
He then closed off for a short moment and recollected his memory of survival that he learned back at the village. Blinking his eyes heavily he then turned to Makael. "How about I show you a thing or two about setting up shelter." Grinning cunningly he started to walk towards the small clearing that Emily had located and looked around at the trees, trying to locate different types.

Aponi let off a whimper so soft it melted into the breeze when Emily pulled away. She had felt the cold brush her skin and blamed herself rather then Nana. She cursed at herself inwardly and gripped tightly at the flint. It was hard, crushing on a girl so hard after being socially rejected and thus essentially a social retard by definition. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath then looked up into Emily's eyes, her own silver and pleading.

"Wait.. Please.. I think I misconstrued my meaning. Come back.." She went to grab Emily's hand but thought better of it. "I may have come off as mean or gruff. That was not intentional. I was simply concerned that you may hurt yourself, since you seem... dissettled?" She was grasping badly for words.. She didn't want to call out Emily's fright in front of others. ".. Please.. I want to work together. We're all a team, right?"

When Nana addressed her.. she was taken by considerable surprise. She gave a overly formal bow. "I thank you for your thanks. It was a pleasure.. I too wish to have.. 'friends'.." The word was awkward for her. After years of being treated by a leper, she was as much if not more gunshy than Emily about people. She was just less frightened and a calmer personality in general. To fill the awkward space she continued on Emily's firepit, but her body language was depressed from the fear she had scared the Ice element off indefinitely. She had seen Nana hide her laughter and blush in embarrassment. "Please, friend, don't hide your joy. The Mother Spirit welcomes joy, glee, and laughter. Especially in serious times. As should all Her children." She was referring to all of them, but especially was trying to say: She liked Nana's laugh. Turning slightly, she gave Crim a sweet half-hearted smile though. "Yes, Crim of Flying. It's Aponi, but your call for me can be your own. I have no preference. Do you?"

Makael smiled fondly at Crim. "Yeah I know a thing or two. I live in the forest, kid. You don't live in the forest and not pick up a trick or two." He pulled a small wooden statuette of the Goddess out of his sleeve, pretending it was magically appearing. "And when you're raised by elves, you learn thiiiinnnggss.. Oooohhhh." The statue seemed to glow, not unlike the actual Goddess, but significantly fainter.

He raised an eyebrow as he felt Kiel's eyes sizing him up. He gave a dainty twirl and struck a coy pose. Which looked totally un-natural on his predator-esque body. When the younger male came to poke at his chest, he took the oppurtunity to take advantage of Kiel initiating contact and wrapped an arm around the small of his back, getting face to face and very close. He gave a dashing yet feral grin. "You BETTER take care of it, or else you'll find out just how good I am with my powers, boy." At his challenge, he purred to him softly and let him slip from his arms. "Well Crim my boy-o, that did ever so much sound like a challenge. C'mon, we'll beat him and his sexy ass."

Feeling brave, daring, and playful - so like his usual self - Makael called out after Kiel. "How about a bet then? He whose shelter stands more firm, yours or mine and Crim's, gets top pick of who they bunk with!" Oh he enjoyed the little awkward four-square going on amongst the males, that didn't mean he wouldn't play all cards. Maybe he'd pick to bunk with Crim, just to REALLY piss Zephyr off. If Crim agreed to the game.. of course, that mean that since he was teaming with Crim, Crim got to pick his bunking mate too... For all he knew, the young male would choose the prize he wanted. He nibbled a lip. Damn.. Didn't think of that.. Oh well. I won't lose over-night. He knew it. He was too sexy for that.

Though as Aponi talked to Nana and Emily, he couldn't help but feel a soft passive rage and jealousy towards the young tribe girl. Despite, or maybe because, not having had a chance to talk to Emily yet, he didn't want Aponi doing it either. He extended no effort and soaked the ground under Aponi's side of the firepit. Not really soaked, but made it significantly moister than Emily's side. It would take the tribe girl a loooot longer than Emily to get a good blaze to stay like that.. Unless she was just clever enough to figure out the ground was wet.

Emily listened to what Nana-Haru was saying, further driving home the idea that the other girl actually cared. It was a strange feeling, but one that Emilia liked. Then the fidgety girl was taken-aback by Aponi's fretting. Had she been so easy to read? Emilia just took a very deep breath, not meaning to watch Aponi with such bewildered eyes. She was feeling pressured to respond, and the panic was building in her. This girl really had no idea how to build a friendship, and was grateful that Nana had interjected.

The softest smile appeared as Aponi talked to the others, and Emily started to feel comfortable enough with the crowd to crouch down next to her sickly friend. However if she had been listening to Kiel more thoroughly, she might have worked up the guts to say her own piece.

So the girls were delegated to the fire, the boys were delegated to the making of shelter. Sounded fair enough. Even though Aponi was talking to the boys, Emily looked at her curiously, glancing at Nana. Then she hung her head, adding more twigs to the pile of kindling. "I'm s-s-sorry... I kn-know that I d-don't trust people... very well... B-but I d-don't h-h-hate either of y-you.." Swallowing she looked up at Aponi and Nana-Haru, her eyes wide and expecting.. Rather than frightened. Her skin tingled, and it felt like something had changed, but Emilia couldn't pinpoint the strange feeling. With time she may realize that she had felt the energy of Makael practicing his powers.

((Gonna reply with Crim >.> Rynn is nagging me to <.< xDD))

They... need me... The world stopped. Everything around him froze in their places as the realization of the situation sunk into Crim's pretty little skull: he had responsibilities here. That woman who had hovered beside them only moments ago told Kiel that his power, as well as Zephyr's, soon. Fear gripped at at Crim, clawed at him, and caused his head to feel extremely light. The pain he felt as the bullies beat him were fine, he understood that it made them feel better, but this was too much. They never lit him on fire or did anything even remotely equivalent to how Sakyo must have felt when he powers came to her. What if voices haunted his mind?

Time returned and his eyes refocused. He gazed at the group around him then stared at Zephyr with his mouth gaped open. A couple blinks later, he shook his head and realized what was going on. "Bunk? Yay! This is like a sleepover!" he clapped his hands together, looking back at his partner with a cutesy smile. "You could partner with Kiel, Zephyr! Then the teams will be even!" the seventeen year old red head chimed. The time would come would when his decision was to be made, but, for now, all that mattered was getting to the next destination. At this precise moment, all that mattered was setting up camp.

As Zephyr watched the proceedings around him, he noticed a strange focus on Crim, and at times himself. Though the focus on him seemed to be mostly disapproval; his actions earlier had seemed to have garnered far too much negativity in his direction. He had to admit to himself, he did seem... overprotective. Selfish. He didn't entirely understand what was going on. At times, it felt as though he wasn't in control of himself. At first, it seemed to be a simple irrational attraction (which was strange, considering that he normally didn't like boys), but now it was... a crush? He felt intoxicated in this young boy's presence, and loved seeing his smile, his face, his confusion, his whining... he adored everything about him already.

What was it about this boy that he so wanted?

Zephyr didn't know, and wasn't yet ready to figure out. He shuffled awkwardly, watching as Crim's attention was taken by those around him. At the mention of a contest, he began paying better attention, watching Makael as he made his point. The contest was brought up, and instantly Zephyr began to make plans. Crim was already taken as a partner, which disappointed him, but he was determined to win. It might be a bit embarrassing once he actually did; he would make the obvious choice they all expected of him, and he wasn't sure how Crim himself would react.

"That sounds good." Zephyr said, his voice level and emotionless. His eyes betrayed a small spark of anger at the initiation of the contest itself, which was rather petty in the first place, but he was willing to participate. He turned around, calling out to Kiel. "Kiel! I have a proposition for you. Sort of a contest."

Butterflies fluttered, both in the surrounding air and within his stomach. He wasn't so sure as to his abilities in this kind of contest; he was a partier, a no-lifer. How well would he manage with this? Hopefully Kiel had some sort of skill in this area, because Zephyr sure as hell didn't.

[[Blehhhh. Short post. I should've started writing sometime that was less close to 4 AM. >.<]]

(( I seriously have been brain dead O: ))

Kiel gazed at Makael uncomfortably, He liked how he was being handled, it felt so right to him and he didn't want the moment to stop just yet, slowly his mind started making many ideas of what he could do to make the moment all the more exciting, but he knew he would need to stop before his body reacted. Once Makael had let him off he knelt down to take a moment to recollect himself from the contact.
"Okay, though I'm not sure what water can do to help my throat." He chuckled to himself a bit then tilted his head slightly to the right and blinked. this challenge sounded like fun, though he was unsure as who he would chose to bunk with, and the fact who is up for being chosen? and how would it work with only two things being built.
"A challenge it is then. though who is up for being chosen to bunk with ... and how does it work out with it being teams? that part confuses me...and I do not think my ass is all that sexy, I mean, it is just an ass." He looked around at his butt to see what the fuss was that makael was making over his bottom then returned his gaze towards the boys.
"we shall see who will have the better crafting then... and.. uh.." He glanced towards Zephyr and gave him the head to toe checkout.
"A Proposition? well for starters just do as I say? I think that sounds decent enough right, so, let us make sure we win. though go on and tell me the proposition." He nodded and quickly turned away to continue poking his head at all the different trees, bushes, and towards the river.
"I think I have an Idea as to what to do.... How long do we have to put together our bunk Makael?" He needed to know what option to go for by the time they have to do it.

DearSweetAru 06-19-2010 08:49 AM

((I'm only going to reply with Kyoko, Jamilah, and Sakyo o-o Why? Because I wanna wait on Makael before I post with Crim))
"Your precious naked stranger is running away from you, Jamilah." Kyoko sneered as well as smirked, finding it hilarious that the person whom she had grown so fondly of in such a short time period. Luckily Scavery managed to make a noise, though he already knew that he was scurrying off the crunch just allowed Jamilah to focus on a new victim. Freedom!

Her body immediately jerked around, locking her eyes where Scavery was, then realized he was crawling across the grass now. Jamilah's blood was boiling, but it immediately subsided, since this was a rather idiotic reason to be angry. Momentarily the jinn disappeared, but, within a matter of seconds, reappeared hovering over Scavery. "Oh, dear... I apologize, love. I completely forgot to give you a cane, didn't I? Is there a kind you would prefer, gorgeous?"

Carefully she lifted Scavery up, slipping her hands under his arms and allowing her body to float up until his feet touched the ground. Jamilah let go, but stayed close to him in case any support to stand was necessary. "Why are you scurrying off, Scavery?"

"I do believe he is eager to escape us."

She shot a glare that could make any man cower in their boots at Kyoko, then looked down at Scavery, running her fingers through his dark hair.

"I wouldn't know... Understanding the differences between demon races does not appeal to me." Sakyo's eyes were closed. She was allowing Raphael to take her wherever he felt was necessary, as she had no idea where to go. "I've only ever explored the forest, since I chase crooks and that is where they choose to hide... On a rare occasion I entered towns... and I hope I never have to deal with these wretched smells ever again."

It was unknown to Sakyo whether or not Raphael's scent was almost heavenly because the smells around her were terrible or if she actually enjoyed it. Either way it didn't matter. For that reason she was worried of leaving his side and heading towards the woman on her own. She edged her way to the book shelf, gently tapping on the woman's back. It startled her that the she was on the short side, but she ignored it.

This was because her body was young. In fact, this girl only looked about fourteen, if that. Her hair was such a light blonde that it was practically white and her skinner was even lighter. Big doe eyes stared up at Sakyo, though she was only a couple inches or so shorter than the small assassin. "And I gazed upon the blind warrior with immense curiosity, though I had a feeling what she was here for. Daughter of the horned man who wished his soul away... I ask her what it is she seeks of me, though I already know the answer."

"...what? Yes, I am the daughter of Haku, but why are you talking that way?"

((I don't wanna accidentally make an obnoxiously long post >.>; I also feel too lazy to color the text. Deal with it.))

[Will color tomorrow.]

Nana cheeks became warmer, her hands fell from over her mouth. She pulled her legs as close to her as she could. Strangely Aponi’s words didn’t make the embarrassment go away, it wasn’t the same kind, however, it felt better. The words made her feel comfortable because she realized that being herself was ok, she could be liked just the way she was. A silly laugh didn’t take away from that. She admired both Emilia, and Aponi; they were good friends to have. “I will try better not to hide it,” Nana said. A smile was clearly visible as she peeked up.

“Don’t be sorry, please. Papa told me that trust is the person who climbs over the wall for you, not the one that hides behind it. I don’t mind working to earn your trust.” Nana missed her grandfather deeply, and she was afraid that she would end up being careless. She had already done so by not thinking it out before she called for her powers. She wasn’t the wise sort. The wisest choice she had made so far was staying with these colorful people. Everyone seemed to have found common ground somewhere. She could see them easily working as a team. The boys appeared to have the teamwork down, with the added dose of competitiveness. It was all rather nice.

After all the ruckus he had made, Scavery was not at all surprised by the Jinn’s appearance in front of him. She lifted him up onto his feet. He was thankful that she stayed near. He was far to shaky to stand on his own. Scavery took a step forward to balance himself that ended in his hand on Jamilah’s shoulder. “Pardon me for my impatience.” His eyes stared into hers. “I don’t mind the style of the cane, all I need is one that is sturdy enough to carry me. I am very easy to please. “ Now her next question took some pondering, He could tell her the truth, and have a possibility of conflicting with his earlier statement to Kyoko. Or he could lie to her, he was good at that. Of course nothing was coming to mind, and her playing with his hair wasn’t helping at all. To much time thinking. “I have no answer for you Miss, except that I am in quite a hurry,” he said finally. It would have to do for now.

Raphael stayed in place. He could see that Sakyo was afraid but she had made no mention of him to follow her. So he didn’t know what to do for her. Unlike the last time, he did listen, and at some point stepped a few steps closer. He was curious to see who this woman was, he hadn’t expected the small thing in front of him. She honestly seemed a bit out of it.
