Sasuki headed on with the two new people she met that day, and reached the center. It turned out a lot more people had had the dream than her. She wondered if the dreams had been exactly the same. Sasuki did not ponder on this for much longer, as she started to get impatient. Everyone was here, weren't they? She glanced around in annoyance.
Where was this bloody lady?? She picked at the leaves from tree's, messing around, doing anything to pass the time before she would figure out what she was sent here for. // Sowwy its so wittle, could not fink of what to wite xDD My baby brother says it that way \\[/CENTER] |
She watched in bewilderment as Crim went into the forest, following a scream that sounded so faint. While he was gone, Emilia started to fidget with worry for the strange boy. A distraction came however, in the form of a girl with another hawk and horse. Emily smiled faintly, almost thinking that this new girl could be from her own village, however she had those strange facial features as the few others in the meadow. Such a face could only be found in her village if a traveling trader came from another village. The hawk nipped at her ear, and she cringed away to hide it from his beak, giggling lightly. "What is it Izaya?" She held her arm out so that he could hop from her shoulder to her forearm instead. "She's not from our village... But.. Alright." With a powerful sweep of his wings, the hawk rose into the sky and started to glide in circles above the clearing again.
With a heavy sigh, and quite the hesitation, Emilia headed over to Nana, leading her horse Elan with her. Stopping a few feet away, the girl started to run her fingers through Elan's mane, her eyes on the ground. Meeting people, it was never as easy as it seemed. "H-hello.. My name is Emilia.." Her eyes flickered up to Nana's dark brown ones before offering her a shaky hand, and an uncertain smile. "I.. There are so many people here... I w-wonder if they're all here f-for.. for the same reason." Her voice got quieter and quieter and eventually she was looking at the ground before she was done talking. It seemed, to Emilia anyway, that everyone was expecting something. She just wasn't sure if they were all waiting for the same thing, Emily had no idea what to expect. She had simply followed her dream, perhaps they were all supposed to meet and get to know each other. Maybe the woman from her dream just wanted Emilia to grow some guts and learn to socialize with people. No, surely it was something bigger than that. |
Seeing as no one was responding to his greetings and seemed more interested in examining him as though he was strange animal that had just hoped out of the trees, Hui took the oppurtunity to introduce himself. "Hello." Not even feeling ridiculous or shamed, he pointed at his chest and added "Hui." Turning to Celeste, he bowed and bit and flourished his hands as he introduced her ",and this is Lady Celeste." Smiling a bit, Hui honestly had no idea what to do with himself here. He approached a nearby girl's horse slowly and held out his hands near it's nuzzle to let it smell him. Actually, horses aren't cats but then again he never had much experiance in dealing with these large mammals. Forgetting about asking the owner's permission, Hui began stroking it absentmindedly as though this was all that he had traveled here for. Remembering himself after a few seconds, he glanced back up at the horse's mistress and inquired ",can I...sit on him?"
((you know what...I suck at rping and can't keep Hui being a bad english speaker. Lets just pretend that the forest's magic somehow gave him the gift of speakin English)) |
Ava heard someone introduce themselves, and saw that it was a young man, who also introduced a young woman next to him. She blinked, forcing their names to memory, just in case. Hui Hui Hui Hui Hui. Celeste Celeste Celeste Celeste Celeste. Committing the names to memory, Ava thought it was only polite that since she seemed to be the newest person in the center of the forest, she needed to introduce herself as well. She tucked her white hair behind her ear and then took a step forward, bowing slightly in respect. "Hello. It's nice to meet you all. My name is Ava." She said, straightening up.
|
Eirian heard a distant scream and Crim quickly ran off to the center of the forest. Turning to Sasuki she shrugged and looked back to where Crim had run into the forest. She hadn't expected him to be the one who ran to what seemed to be a cry for help, but sometimes people could surprise you. Around her, Aria heard people hesitently begin to introduce themselves, but most still remained quiet.
After a moment Crim returned with a new girl, the one Aria assumed had cried out. Her appearance took her by surprise, but she was more interested then anything. She couldn't say she had ever seen anyone with that shade of hair. As the new girl stepped out in the sun her snow white hair almost seemed to glow. When she stepped forward to introduce herself, Eirian smiled. She liked people who were open and straight forward, and Ava seemed like that kind of girl. Walking towards her Aria introduced herself as well. "Hey, welcome to the middle of the Forbidden Forest. My name is Eirian, but you can call me Aria if you'd like. This is Sasuki," she said, gesturing to the girl. "I see you've already met Crim, and I don't really know anyone else yet." Looking around, she could see that people were becoming more open and she hoped that this girls introduction would be the trigger to get them all talking. She hated shy people. "I assume you're here for the same reason as the rest of us?" ((Yay! I'm back early.)) |
Ava smiled softly. "I suppose so... Originally I was chased in here by... well..." She looked down, nibbling on her lower lip nervously. "When Crim told me about the dream... The dream that he had... The same dream that I had... It was far too much of a coincidence. So..." She looked up at Aria and smiled sheepishly. "Here I am, I suppose."

[Sorry for the wait Violet. I just got to a comp.]
When Emilia spoke Nana was a taken a bit aback, she wasn't used to be talking to her. She at first simply looked at the girl, tried to speak and then bit her lip. Then she glanced down at the girl's hand as though it were apart of some foreign custom she had ever heard of. "I'm sorry," she said with a nod after she noticed to much silence had gone by. Nana took the girl's hand as she said, "my name is Nana-Haru. You can call me Nana or Haru, whichever. And this is Miwa, my horse, and Nobu my hawk." She smiled and Nobu flew to her shoulder to get a better look at Emelia. "He thinks you're a good spirit." Nana gazed beyond Emilia for a moment when she talked about the others. She nods. "Yeah. I think so. I mean it's seems to strange a coincidence to be otherwise. Though this whole following a dream to destiny is all rather strange though. I'm tempted to pinch myself, but I'm afraid I may wake up." She chuckles. "Thanks for speaking to me Emelia, it means a lot. " They were soon joined by a rather odd fellow. The boy appeared to be infatuated by Emelia's horse. Had he never seen one before or did he simply just love them enough to where every time he saw one he grew excited. All sorts of ideas ran through Nana's mind as her expression grew more and more baffled. Then he asked if he could sit on it, and for some reason she couldn't help, but laugh. Nana quickly put her hands over her mouth, her face turning a bright red. She certainly didn't mean to laugh, but it was such a peculiar question for her. Horses were common for her village and no would ever ask if they could sit on one. Horses as well as any animal that came to be companions with a human, were considered to be allies, not play things and certainly not chairs. Her village felt that certain creatures chose who they would bond to. They were their own spirit. If you wanted to ride a horse you would ask it's permission, but sitting on it? She wasn't sure. The only time she sat on Miwa was when they traveled together, aside from that, she would no more than rest her head against her, as they both slept. He was just trying to be polite I'm sure. And Raphael got lazy and sat down. [Because there is nothing else to say about him right now.] |
(( xD It's alright.. besides today I got to wondering if he was talking to my character or yours... seeing as they both have horses. ))
Despite having her hand out, Emilia was delightfully startled when Nana-Haru actually introduced herself and took the gesture. The surprise showed on her face as she looked at Nana's hand as she shook it, however she smiled bashfully when her eyes looked back at Nana's face, there was relief there too. The smile wavered and returned in a flash when Nobu lighted on Nana-Haru's shoulder before Emilia nodded to both Miwa and Nobu. She pulled her hand away and adjusted the strap of the guitar on her back, just to give her nervous fidgeting a purpose. Hearing Nobu's opinion of her, she looked at the hawk with a grateful smile. "Thank you very much Nobu... That means the world to me.." No stuttering when she spoke with the predator, it's how she had always been. She had an easier time speaking with birds than humans, however the fact that Nana-Haru was friends with the hawk was one reason Emilia had been able to muster the courage to talk to the other human. Then she realized she had not introduced her mare, or her flying friend. "Oh, th-this is Elan.. And that is my friend Izaya up there.." She gestured to the mare, catching sight of Hui introducing himself to the group in the meadow, as well as Celeste, and then gestured towards the sky where the hawk was still circling, enjoying the calmer air above the restless, growing crowd. "He lead me here..." She looked back at Nana-Haru with a soft, wary smile. Hearing that the girl thought that she was still in a dream, Emily laughed softly. "You had a dream too? ...I was hoping I wasn't the o-only one.." Her smile grew and became a bit more earnest when Nana-Haru thanked her. "No, th-thank you Nana.. for being nice." Emilia jumped when she noticed that Hui was petting Elan, letting out a gasp of fright. However the horse was just fine with the attention, and nudged her nose against Hui's hands. It was probably a good idea to let Elan smell him first, even though the mare wasn't a cat she was just as sensitive to the scents of strangers. She started at him with an expression nearly as baffled as Nana-Haru's, however there was just as much fright in her wide wild eyes as there was curiosity and confusion. "....No.." She said in a quiet voice in response to his question, pulling ever so lightly on Elan's reigns so that the mare moved closer to her. "H-her name is Elan.." Hearing the laughter from her side, Emilia glanced over nervously to see that Nana was blushing, her hands over her mouth. Emily was completely unsure of how to respond. People confused her, and she wasn't sure why the fellow would want to ask to sit on Elan, unless they were going somewhere and he needed a ride.. Even then the horse would have to approve of him before it would happen. Emilia was surprised to see that Elan didn't mind Hui much at all. |
(Yeah, I was a bit confused to. I'm glad you said something first, otherwise I wouldn''t know what to do. And I didn't want to seem rude. I'm so tempted to post right now.)
|
((we have two horses here?))
Hui made a disapointed face but otherwise didn't mind. They were strangers after all so it was natural for the owner to not trust him. He could ride off with their steed for all she knew. So the horse's name was Elan? I wonder if that's a male or female name where they come from...perhaps both. Back at the villages, no one ever named horses. The few people who had owned any simply branded them with their surname character to show ownership. "So...are we all here for the dare?" |
((I think so, lol. I'm waiting on Malice to finally post, but if he doesn't post today I'm moving on without him =\ Just so ya'll know.))
|
Celeste had remained silent. She didn't have to introduce herself, Hui already did that. She just gave a small smile, her dark eyes wandering, as to not look at anyone directly. She was a shy girl in nature, so being with a bunch of strangers was a little odd for her. She saw hawks, and horses and strange people, and right now she wanted to turn and head back home. Thing was, something was telling her to stay. She wondered how long this would take, she was getting a little ancy.
Finding a medium sized boulder, Celeste took a seat. She watched as the people around her began introducing themselves. Honestly, she didn't care, she wanted to find out why they were all here, and then leave. Taking her bag, she set in on her lap, and opened it. She grabbed a sandwich she had made, and unwrapped it. She took a small bite out of it, and continued to wait as did the others. She was growing bored, but she had a feeling it would happen soon. At least, she hoped. [[ooc: Soo short >.<]] |
((I'll try and make a post today :3 I just realized I should REALLY clean for my friends to come over XD Otherwise this place is a messss))
|
[Imma switch over to present tense, it's easier, sorry for any grammar flaws.]
Nana smiled and waved at the animals when she had been introduced to them. She thought it was so nice to talk to someone that seemed to cherish animals as much as she did or to have anyone talk to her for that matter. Everyone in the village always thought, she thought of herself as to good to associate with anyone. Of course she never would. Her mind just wanders sometime. Nana cocks her head as the boy once again asks another unusual question. Not so much unusual, just unusually formatted for the situation. She thought that dare's were meant for those games, she was never asked to play, and this certainly doesn't seem to be a game. The girl would just have to get used to all these strange customs. As Nana begins to speak, Nobu brushes her cheek. "I wasn't going to be," she mutters. There is a small bit of silence before she answers Hui, "I think so. Emelia and I had the same dream, I doubt it simply coincidence that all the rest have gathered here for any other reason." The question is, when is this heavenly essence going to show herself? They have been waiting here awhile, and there has been no sign of her yet. Could she be waiting for more to show up? In that case, how many more could possibly becoming. "I wonder what all this is about. All these people gathered here by the same call, there must be something big. I just don't know whether it's good or bad." [Bleh, shortness. Ya two horses. It's fine, I've been mostly referring to mines y name. There are also two hawks.] |
(( Don't dieee!!!! -Does CPR on the RP- ))
Emilia's hawk flew down from the sky and sat on the shoulder farthest away from the horse, preening his feathers. The girl visibly relaxed with the hawk on her shoulder, and allowed Nana-Haru to speak for her. She had been unsure as to how she should answer Hui's question, what dare was he talking about? However as the other girl answered, Emilia realized that perhaps Hui meant the dream. Nervous brown eyes fell to the ground as she ran her finger's through Elan's mane, she only glanced up again when Haru expressed that she didn't know whether they were all gathered for a good reason or not. Piping up in the smallest voice, she didn't look up, what accomplishment she felt for having been able to talk to Naru so easily was gone. "I was w-wondering that too..." She ventured to lift her head, pushing her hair out of her face. "What c-could be so big that all of us h-had the same dream?" She glanced over Elan's back at Hui, and then at the crowd that had gathered. They were definitely all waiting for something to happen, "M-maybe it was all a coincidence a-and there is no mission f-for us..." She regretted expressing that thought out loud, it made her heart plummet. Emilia didn't want to return to her village after going into the forbidden forest for nothing, surely they would make fun of her for having been so folly to follow a dream. Then she would have let Grammy down too, not just Grammy but herself. Izaya nipped at her ear gently, causing Emily to flinch. "Izaya! What did you do that for?" But as soon as she caught the hawk's piercing gaze, she lowered her head again, she knew why. But she couldn't help her thoughts. (( xD who are we still waiting for? )) |
((My friend Malice who SWEARS he's posting tonight. He said that his mom had to go to the hospital, which is why he couldn't post last night.
I swear if he doesn't post TONIGHT I am going on >.< )) |
(( Oh yikes.. I hope he and his mother are alright. xD; Even though I also hope he can possibly post soon.. >.o;; ))

((Apparently she's pregnant and they were worried that something bad would happen since she was sick and stuff.
I do hope he posts soon >.<)) |
((Malice promises to post today, his dad kicked him off before he could. This time I fuckin' SWEAR if he doesn't post today I ain't waiting anymore. I'm fed up with it.))

Smoke and ashes clouded the way out, hellish fire a constant threat as he crawled through the maze of burning wreckage. Massive embers of what once were strong and steadfast logs fell down in showers around him, the building further crumbling as he pushed his way along. He could barely breathe, his tiny lungs inhaling less oxygen and more smoke with every passing second. A scream sounded off behind him as a large piece of what was once his home came crashing down. A fiery piece of wood fell with a dull thump, and it wasn't until the smell of burning flesh filled his nostrils that he realized it hand landed on his left leg, pinning him to the ground where he laid. With a shout, a kick, and a haggard intake of poisoned air, he flung the wood away, but the damage was already done. In his rush of fear and panic, coupled with the overwhelming heat, he didn't feel it yet, but he would soon. Then, suddenly, hands clasped around his wrists, pulling him up as he stared into the face of--
Zephyr woke up in a sweat, the night air simultaneously frigid and soothing. A bright moon shone above him, lighting the world around him with the gentlest caress of brightness. It calmed him down, drove off his mental demons. Shaking, he pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lighting the ivory stick and carelessly discarding the match behind him, tossing it into the thick and lush grass that had always grown here. A puff of smoke obscured his world for a moment, and his mind instantly turned back to the dream, the same one that had been repeating itself for years now, and the same one that continually brought him here; to the graveyard. The dream was present before, and almost always had been ever since the original incident that had taken his parents and home. In the end, the village courts had ruled the fire an accident rather than arson, but Zephyr didn't believe it then, and nor did he now. But the exact circumstances of his past were not what Zephyr was most worried about at the moment. No, what concerned his already troubled mind the most was the dream itself. It was different, some fundamental detail changed that only his subconscious mind noticed right now. Zephyr, however, had a pretty good idea of what was wrong. The dream had always ended the same. The face of the woman that had saved him, his old neighbor Cassandra, appearing before him as she pulled him from the ashes, her face even then wrinkled and severe. But there was something strange about it this time. Something like the fact that it looked absolutely nothing like Cassandra. Cassandra was not ugly, but nor was she any form of beautiful. But the woman that had shown herself to him tonight, that had saved him from his fiery fate in this occurrence... She was amazing. Beyond description. The face of a goddess, and a voice to match. Voice?, he thought. What voice? I woke up before anything was sa- His thoughts came to a stuttering halt as he realized that yes, there indeed was a voice. Maybe not exactly in the dream, but as he leapt to his feet in the aftermath, yes, he thought he did hear something. Something more music than speech, but still recognizable words. A siren song, calling him forth... but to where? Into the forest. The center. a tinkling, ringing voice sang out in his head. Zephyr knew of only a single forest anywhere nearby, and it was forbidden to enter. And yet he felt that this call was impossible to resist, even if he wanted to. And in all truth? He didn't. His life here was... not so well. The village for the most part shunned him, even if it was quite a bit too large to call a village; a city, more likely. About half a million people, and all knew of him and his family. They were quite famous in another time, another place... but that was the past. The past he had left behind for the present, which was less of a gift and more of a curse. His addictions and so-called "friends" weren't anything he'd exactly miss. And this voice... this woman (for he thought of the voice as female, for reasons unknown even to himself), could possibly take him away from all of this. He felt lucky in that he was extremely close to the forest, could actually see it from the graveyard less than half a mile off, easily able to run there in less than five minutes. He was fully dressed, as he always was when he found himself awake in the graveyard. He didn't exactly have any material belongings that he'd want to go back for, and hell, now was better than later. He checked his pockets, and found a few bits of scattered currency, two books of matches, a 3/4 full pack of cigarettes, and a pocket knife. All he would need. The soil was moist, and his clothes and semi-long hair were damp from sleeping on it. Grass grew abundantly here behind the high stone walls that enclosed the graveyard, having to be trimmed regularly. Zephyr had actually been caught quite a few times by confused workers taking care of the land. Zephyr smoked in silence for a few moments, staring down at the two unremarkable headstones before him. They were marked "Erick Killian" and "Elliryanna Killian" respectively, with a span of years beneath the names. Other than that, there was nothing too interesting but for the roses that lay before the polished granite stones. A red one for his father, white for his mother. Zephyr had never been able to find out who left the roses every week, and wasn't sure he any longer cared. As he finished off the cigarette, he discarded it just as carelessly as he did the match, not too worried about starting any fires. It was too wet here. He walked out the back gate of the graveyard that faced the forest, and began to run, first a slow jog, then slowly working up to a sprint. --- The forest was confusing, but it wasn't exactly the first time Zephyr had been there. It may be technically forbidden, but Zephyr was never one to follow the rules set forth to him. Besides, there wasn't exactly anyone enforcing the law, so why not break it? He had explored a bit of this edge, and so knew his way around, but quickly became lost once he had made his way past a certain point, the various plants and burrs tearing at his already worn jeans and poking little holes in his pristine t-shirt. Leaves tangled in his thick hair, and moonlight reflected off of his dark auburn-brown eyes until it was choked off by the trees. At some point, he felt something else guiding him, maybe instinct. Maybe something else. He heard voices, and his heart raced, but his feet seemed to be moving of their own free will at this point. He stopped before a small clearing, staying as silent as possible and hoping not to be discovered. [[I didn't exactly read all of the IC and such, so I really don't know what is going on. I'm assuming you are all meeting at a clearing near the center of the forest or something? Agh. If I said anything that is wrong, just disregard it. I would ask Aru for help, but she's not online at the moment. >.< I am so sorry I took so long. Hopefully I'm not too late to actually get involved.]] |
(( xD you're just in time. Yes everyone is already gathered in the center of the forest in the clearing.. Everyone is basically standing around and waiting for something to happen.. ))
|
((FINALLY YOU POSTED D< You post when I don't want to xD I'll reply tomorrow :3 Tis late))
|
((All right! Time for me to make the goddess post FINNNAAAAALLLLYYY.
You didn't do anything wrong, Malice. As I told you, everyone is in the center now so you were correct in what you remembered =) Don't forget to make the character sheet [since I knew you didn't suck at RPing or anything so I let you get away with making the post first... but I do want a sheet]. TO THE REST OF YOU!!!!!! No more one paragraph posts. I let ya'll get away with it ONLY because I was braindead myself and it was me who was stalling, so yeah. NOW NO MORE LAZY POSTS! D< I swear, I ain't afraid to kick people out because of it. Lazy posts to me show you don't have respect for my rules and my RP, though I do understand sometimes when you just have a writer's block, in which you can explain in parenthesis what's wrong, etc. but not every post. I won't accept it. My rules explained what I wanted, so anyway~~~ Since I understand that is was my fault this time XD TIME TO POOOOST!!! GODDESSS AWAAAAY)) A glow of colorful light beamed down, directing attention to the boulder that Sakyo happened to be sitting on. All she felt was a comforting warmth before she decided to jump away from it, landing in front of Raphael in a crouched stance prepared to attack whatever was coming. Her dominant hand rested over the hilt of her sword as she gritted her teeth. ((Sorry it's so long O.o had to explain everything. I also wanted to show how bad it can get when you get your power. You do NOOOOOT have to be in pain, in fact I would prefer you all try and be UNIQUE about it. I don't want EVERYONE in pain nor do I want EVERYONE not in pain. I always make Sakyo the one who feels the most pain since I honestly think that fire would hurt the most O.o But yes. I also didn't bother coloring the goddess because it forces you to read more XD BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Also also~~~ I only really went into Crim and Sakyo since they are my characters and I know what they'd do O.o just so ya'll know and stuff. Do as you please :3)) |
