OMFG! LAX...Gross...and huge. It's gotten better as far as cleanliness. Imagine this though: LAXs size x 4. That's Newark International in New Jersey. Thing is HUGE. We lost the car and ended up a mile and a half away from it on the other side of the friggen air port!

LAX isn't a fair judgement of CA though. Driving through it is better. You can go up the coast or through the middle...It's pretty awesome. I really miss surfing.

@Rhumb - I'm used to large airports, and even a certain degree of uncleanliness - but LAX, I was about to die in there and there was nowhere for me to sit so I sat on my arse until it was time for me to get in line.

XD your experience at Newark sounds like fun, actually. I've not been there yet.

@Tegan - Ah, a very stark contrast compared to Rhumb. I don't even I think I have a hair/eye preference, myself.

It's very muggy in Jersey.

I used to surf when I lived in CA. Every couple of weeks. Whole day devoted to the beach.

I am really scared of snowboarding. If I hit the water, it won't hurt so bad but the snow can get hard and slippery...broken arms, legs and noses....not so much my thing.

@Gutter we will be going to all the bigger cities and the bullet train which will be awesome and some other tourist sites. I think we were going to Tokyo first, not too sure I'll have to ask lol.

I went there when I was about fourteen or so. I'd really like to visit Tokyo again and get into the nightlife.. it's pretty much a place of endless possibilities. from the strange to the sweet, the ugly and absolutely atrocious. I love it.

Cool I want to go there even more now lol.
