Aru, I am a total bitch in disguise. And man, I get stared at plenty as well, so I'm used to it and can usually ignore it, but it was just so constant and so much in Turkey, it actually really bothered me.

In Cali, generally if you are honked out (and get no yelling) it means they find you attractive. XD If they yell is when you needta flip them off, generally O.o

I get weird looks a lot... and probably MOOOOOOOOOOOOORE after Saturday o.o I'm getting my hair done :3

At least I don't remember getting honked at. One time a car drove by and these guys shouted something and then threw water over me. I'm not sure what that was all about. But at least I was right by my house so I could go right in and dry off.

Well these days I blend in pretty easily.. but I got looks of looks when my hair was pink <3
Want to do it again.. ._. but my boss says I can't.. it doesn't give off a costumer-friendly vibe or something.. screw the costumers... >_<

I would have been angry, but I was just so surprised so they sped off and I was left standing there going "Wait... what just happened?"

Guh, jobs and their stupid rules about appearances. I'm hoping I can get some paid photography gigs, I really need to make some money. Going to get together a portfolio and try to contact some agencies around, see if someone will accept me. At least for photography stuff you don't really have to look a certain way.

Seeing someone with PINK hair would make me HAPPY. Pink is supposed to be a HAPPY color.

See? This is why I wanna own my own god damn shop and sell my own god damn shit. I'd hire people based off of qualities and shit, not fuckin' looks. >.< but I gotta work my way up! XD

*sigh* I wanted the light streaks to contrast with my now dark hair... but ugh... jobs.

I'm happy people don't throw water at me. I'd beat their asses.

@Aru: Yeah.. you are saying that.. but looks do matter XD It may sound really unfair, but there are researches, scientist blablabla shit I even had a college about it.. In the first few seconds that you see someone... you already have an opinion about that person ^^ And in the first few seconds the most important thing you see is the way someone looks..

So I do understand why my boss doesn't want people with pink hair running around.. but it still sucks XD

I understand it too, but what I judge is how clean someone is. So if my employee is clean and well put together, who cares what kinda clothes they are wearing? Or what hair they got?

Besides I plan on selling weird things :3 So I want weirdos to come in and buy them ;3

Haha yeah it also depends on what the image of the store is.. I work in my homevillage.. which is a very fisher-be-normal-then-you're-weird-enough-kinda-village.. but in a weird-awsome shop should work weird-awsome people XD

Leaa, sort of. I'm a photography student right now, been doing photography for years though. Only gotten paid for it like.. twice or something though.
I had bright bubblegum pink hair when I started uni. So my uni ID card has a picture of me with bright pink hair.

Looks do matter, and it does depend on what kind of place it is you're working at. Some stores would prefer people with weird looks.

Anyway, safely arrived at my friend's house. Going to spend the weekend here. 8D Because my family is hell of a pain when I try to read for finals. I've already read twice as much as I've read in one day when family's at home.

I wish I could take better photos, if I can when I transfer I'm going to take a few photography classes. I don't know if I should have a minor or not and if I do I don't know what to minor in.

I usually spend a lot of time experimenting with the camera before I actually start taking photographs. It's pretty fun, though I can't really indulge in photographing as much as I'd like to. D:
