So, I was paying attention to how people speak lately. People always say to not use hate, it's a strong word, yet love is supposed to be the strong positive word and I see many people abuse it immensely. They use it to joke around with friends, etc. so, it's hard to tell when someone is actually being serious. Do you see this issue where you are as well? Do you use the word love lightheartedly? I ask this because I do it SOMETIMES, but it's obvious I'm joking... but now that I'm being SERIOUS to my crush, I'm having fun giggling at the fact that he probably has no idea I really MEAN it when I say it to him. HEY MY QUESTION WAS LONG D< STFU And no Pokemon :3 |

I cant say I use the word hate lightly, or love. mostly because of my own experiences with both.
But people all around throw the word like it's nothing, and in some cases - it really is nothing. it's a game of semantics. it's relative to the feeling behind it, not the word. |

I joke around and I won't say it to someone whom I don't like at all, but I just find it funny that he probably has no idea what I mean. Probably just friend stuff. I say it to be flirtatious occasionally, but, as said, I would never say it to someone if I didn't get along with them or they didn't make me happy in some way, shape, or form. |
I don't use the word "hate" very often, because when I do I usually mean it.
"Love"..? Hm.. I want to agree with you guys but I think I might be a hypocrite. I'm actually not sure if I use it or not.. I'll have to be conscious of my vocabulary now since I don't pay attention to Love.. only Hate @[email protected]; |
