They actually changed up the story for the movie and made the place New Orleans and all this like... different stuff. It's BASED off the story, but doesn't follow it thoroughly.
Then again, many Disney movies do that. You just have to pay attention to notice. The real little mermaid died 8D I wonder if they'll ever make Rapunzel! I liked that one. |
