Ruddie raised a dark purple eyebrow at her. "With whom? Your mother? And you wish to get home....well, I'm not sure how to get to the Aboveground, or the other side of the Looking Glass. I'm sorry, but I do not know which way to go." He frowned at her, and his tail slightly dropped with guilt. "Please forgive me, Ms. Merry. I'm afraid I can't help you after all." His ears now flattened to his skull and he started fixing the collar of his undershirt.

she gave a small sigh " its alright Ruddie, you've never had to get there before." She said lightly not wanting to feel badly " I'll find my way home soon...I'm sure of it" She said even though she wasn't so sure

Ruddie's ears perked up at what she said. "Good, nice, positive thinking, Ms. Merry! Now!" He suddenly grabbed her hand and dashed forward to a certain path, holding his hat onto his head so it wouldn't fly off.
"I want you to meet the Caterpillar!" He shouted over his shoulder to her. |
She thought for a moment as she ran to keep up with him, her Blond hair was flying out behind her like a banner. her free hand held hre skirts up so as not to get tangled up in her legs. " OH you mean ansome? didn't he turn into a butterfly?" she asked confused that was what her mother had said after all

Ruddie just shrugged. "There's a new Caterpillar. Ansome is gone now. This Caterpillar is a lot more interesting..." He grinned, his large pointed teeth seeming eerie in the light around him. He lept over a boulder, and then reached the grass that was over 20 feet high. He pulled some blades out of the way and started climbing over twigs and other sorts.

Merry shurged either way she wouldn't know, she had never meet any talking catapiller before. so she simply followed him up the boulder but got lost in the tall grass

Ruddie held onto Marry's hand, but then felt her start to fall away due to the grass, so he helped her by putting her first and led her through until they reached a clearing and there sat a purple Caterpillar, smoking a fancy cigarette. Except, she seemed somewhat more on the human side.
She puffed her cigarette then looked to Ruddie and a new girl. She raised an eyebrow, then continued to smoke and looked away. |
She walked ahead pushing teh grass out of her way as she did so.when they came to the clearing she stood and waited for ruddie to intrudce this new person...catapiller...she was very confoused.

Ruddie cleared his throat. "Hello, Miss Caterpillar." He said, and bowed low, tipping off his hat so his ears were at their full height.
Caterpillar looked to Ruddie, then rudely just inhaled her cigarette and then blew it into his face. He coughed then turned to Marry to explained. "She's a little rude." Of course, Caterpillar heard this and stood up, her long body bending as she did. "EXCUSE ME?!" She yelled. "Oh, calm down, Cat. I haven't seen you in days." Ruddie said, smirking. Caterpillar relaxed. "So..." She said, not looking at the two and staring off and smoking again. "Who's this...?" She said, with a slight tone to her voice. Ruddie grinned. "This, is Merry. Alice's daughter." Caterpillar froze, then looked to Marry. "Oh... WhO are yoU?" The colorful smoke drifted into Marry's face, containing an 'o' and 'u'. |
Marry sighed and waved away the smoke " I Am Marry and you are?" She asked her irritated already.

"Merry? What a hideous name..." spat Ms. Caterpillar.
Ruddie frowned. "Aw, come on, Cat, be nice. This is Alice's daughter, pay some respect." He whispered to Merry, "She's a little crabby today... let's come back later..." Ruddie turned to leave, but Cat had decided to block his way. "Not so fast," she said, "You still owe me a mushroom." Ruddie had forgotten about the mushroom... He cleared his throat. "Well, ah... about that. I still don't have it yet... you know, it's a very rare type, and it's a very hard one to find... and also...." "I don't care." Cat replied, looming over him. Her coils wrapped around him tightly and she pulled him in. "You owe me, Ruddie." Ruddie gritted his teeth as his arms were locked to his side. "Ah... I'll um..." He gulped. "Get it sometime..." "How bout now?!" Cat growled and squeezed the cat-man tighter. |
merry went red in the face as Cat insulted her so rudly. She however was cut off by Rudy once again deffended her. she however was surpised by all this. she had found a mushroom with funny colors in the tree they had hidden in she woundered... " is this perhapes it?" she asked as she produced it from her skirt pocket.
