Haruhe smiled and watched Morgan go. She then picked up the diner and went up to her room. She began packing. Her uncle came upstairs silently and put a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and his expression said it all. "Haruhe.... I'm sorry.... If I did anything-" but she hugged him. "Uncle... I sware it wasn't because of you...." she whispered and it's not you.... I love you.... But I'm going cuz I need to.... I need to see the world." she whispered and he looked at her. "But then I might not see you again." he whispered and she hugged him tighter. "Yes you will I promise.... I just need to do this." she said and he kissed her forehead. "Very well.... Just write whenever you can..." he whispered and she nodded. "Promise she said taking his pinky with hers and then he shook his head after closing the door. She was so much like her parents it scared him. If she fell in love with that elf.... Things were going to get ten times worse for her.

Morgan open his eyes bright and early as he got his things packed and the horse ready. He wore his normal attire it was well suited for the trip. He knew how Haruhe's uncle felt he had seen more than he needed to in his mind. Her uncle was right she didn't need to fall in love with him it would only bring trouble for her. But he could be her friend surly that wouldn't cause her any trouble. Morgan road to the dinner and waited outside not wanting to go in after seeing her uncle's thoughts he closed his eyes as he meditated.

Haruhe looked out the window of her bedroom and smiled seeing Morgan. Her heart fluttered happily and she finished pulling on her elvish dress. She had saved this dress for this adventure for a long time. It was a black elven leather corset and a leather like material skirt that went to her knees making it easy to fight in. She pulled up her hair into a pony tail and quickly pulled on her elven black leather boots that went up to her knees. She grabbed her pack and then raced downstairs. She kissed her uncle's cheek as she ran into the armor room and smiled. She grabbed her mother's cloak and her father's sword and ran outside. "Morgan!" she said happily and smiled. "Sorry I accedientally slept in a little. I stayed up a tad too late." she said and blushed.

Morgan jumped from his horse and ran to her giving her a hug as he smiled. He gave her a bow and laughed. "A lady is never late the gentleman is only early. That is the princesses rule. " He gently pulled the other horse to him and patted it. "This will be your new best friend his name Blaze please don't over feed him. He needs to stay lean for running." Morgan laughed as his own horse nuzzled him and laid it's head on his shoulder. He petted it smiling. "This is Lady Aurora, she is my best friend and gos every where with me. She is a lady and wants to be treated like it. I am sorry I would have given her to you for the trip but she wouldn't have it. " Morgan looked up to where her uncle was and gave him a bow. "I promise to keep her safe and bring her back to you. You have my word." He thought as he looked up the the man and gave him a nod. He did love his gifts and not having to speak was his favorite.

Haruhe laughed lightly and hugged him back. Her eyes gleamed seeing the horses and she gently reached out to Blaze after putting the huge blade upon her back. She smiled when she softly stroked his muzzle and laughed when he nudged her and neighed softly. She patted his neck and put her pack on the horse and tied it down nicely. She then kissed the horse's head and turned back to see her uncle out with them looking at her silently. She walked over to him knowing this was her last goodbye. He smiled softly and brushed her cheek softly with his hand. "Now you be strong and just don't forget yourself okay?" he said and smiling held up a small necklace. Her eyes widened and she looked at it. It was a rose wrapped around a dagger on a thin silver chain and her eyes softened as he put it on her. She then hugged him fiercely fighting off the tears. "I love you..." he whispered and she clutched him tighter. "I love you too." she whispered and then pulled away. She backed up to Morgan's side and he smiled. "Dont let her trip too much okay?" he said obviously fighting back tears. "Ill write. I even remembered my pen." she said and looked at Morgan knowing they should get going.

Morgan nodded as he held Blaze for her waiting for her to mount him before he would hand her the reins. "I promise." He gave them both a warm smile even though he knew that their trip was going to be dangerous. But he couldn't wait to be with her and she how she would grow on the trip.

Haruhe took the riens from Morgan and stuck her tounge out playfully. She mounted as if she had done it a million times and patted Blaze's neck. "Ill be back someday Uncle I promise." she said and then seeing Morgan was upon his horse she turned Blaze around. She would go to the sea first, she had to know what her mother was like, and then she would find the wolves. She needed answers and information upon herself and her family before she could fight for anyone. She looked back at him and then snapped Blaze's riens and took off down the road fighting the tears of her beloved home.

Morgan followed her with ease as Lady Aurora kept paced with Blaze with ease. "Are you ready to face the sea kingdom? I don't know how much help I'll be there but I promise you will have all my help. Remember that brains go further than anything no matter where you go."

Haruhe smiled and nodded. "Wehave a good two days riding before we get there.... So I think it would be wise to plan for the best.... And the worst." she said logically and then smiled. "I forgot to ask you. This elven dress, is it fit to travel in? I thought it was but I wasn't sure..." she said. She loved the sleeveless dress and it felt like it had been mocked to fit her body perfectly. But she wasn't exactly sure if it was suitable for travel.

Morgan laughed as he looked at the dress. " It should be fine as long as you are happy in it and feel good about it that is what matters. It looks well on you and it looks like it gives you enough room to run or fight in. Your boots will do very well on this trip I am glad you arn't like most women who take trips. They want to wear their normal shoes only to find out that they will ruin them and cause pain to their feet from wearing them. Boots give you great protection while on a trip and last forever for the most part." Morgan noted how well the dress looked on her if he didn't know better he would have taken her from a elfven lady of the hight court.

Haeuhe smiled and laughed. "Well when am I ever like normal women?" she asked and rubbed Blaze's neck as he ran. She then was silent for awile just loving watching the beautiful forest go by. She had a burning desire to explore it but she would have many days to spend walking threw the forest if she wanted to find her grandfather... Her uncle had said he was still alive and still secretly studying half breeds. She then liked at Morgan and smiled. "What about your parents? You never mention them?" she asked lightly. She wanted to know him as well as she could. She just loved everything about him and when he gave her that one smile it just made her heart stop and melt on the spot.

Morgan looked from the forest to Haeuhe. "Well my father was one of the kings best knights and guards I followed only naturally. My mother was the musician of the court. They said that out of all the elf's my mother was the only gifted with dance and music. She could make any animal sing. I remembered her songs but my favorite times was when she and my father would spare together. She was quick on her feet and beat him every time. When I was younger the others would make fun of me and call me the girl knight because I danced around them. Though I beat every opponent so it is fine with me if they call me a girl. I never thought about why I didn't talk about them I guess when they died I didn't want to think about it at the time though now I can only smile when I think back to them." Morgan smiled as he pulled a cheery blossom from the trees as they road he placed it in her hair and gave her a smile. "You are very beautiful today though you are every day. I am learning more about you in one day than I have in our whole friendship."

Haruhe amiled and looked at him. She could picture him dancing gracefully while holding a sword as he spoke. She then looked at him and smiled brightly. Her eyes widened as he put the flower in her hair and she blushed. Her heart stopped seeing that special smile and then snapped out of it. "Well we're learning about eachother together." she said brightly. Suddenly she heard a sound that sounded alot a muffled scream. She pulled Blaze to a stop and listened. "Did you hear that?" she asked straining her ears to hear it again.

Morgan turned his horse around and followed from where he heard the muffled scream. He kept his hand near his sword and he road. " Keep your hand near a weapon Haruhe encase of a attack. I guess now is a perfect to teach you how to use one. First rule of fighting never attack before thinking of your actions and the consequences. Rule two know that where you are at all times and the things around you. Rule three keep your weapons near you at all times. Rule five don't get killed!" Morgan looked over his shoulder at her to let her know he was serous he turned back around as they neared the area the scream came from.

Haruhe nodded taking in everything he said and grabbed the hilt of her father's massive blade. As they neared the sound her eyes widened. Her mermaid friend Aqua was under a huge bear of a man and he was raping her. Haruhe felt anger ignight within her heart and she jumped off Blaze gracefully and drew her father's blade. "You get away from her!" she shouted angerily. She held her ground as the huge man stood nearly doubling her in size but she knew Morgan's words rung true. You didn't have to be huge to figt someone. "How dare you intrude upon my fun!" he snarrled and lunged at her claws ready. She jumped to the side and swung her sword at him giving him a clean cut across the back. She then readied herself as he turned around and charged again. "Come get me..." she whispered. She jumped onto a huge bolder and then jumped off of it as he went to turn and she chopped his head cleanly off. She landed in a crouching position and she then stood. She wasn't proud she had killed him. But she knew the man. It was the same one who had tried raping her as well.

Morgan helped the girl to the river and handed her some extra clothes for her to change into after cleaning up in the river. He built a fire and made a herb tea and handed it to the girl. "Drink this it will make sure nothing comes of this injustice." He turned and went to where Haruhe was he was impressed with her skill she did a clean cut though he wished she hadn't been so reckless. He walked to the body then disposed of it.

Haruhe looked away and cleaned her sword as Morgan helped Aqua. She then walked over to her friend and hugged her. "Haruhe... Thank you...." she whispered tearfully. She hugged Haruhe tightly and Haruhe held her gently. "Aqua... What happened?" she asked softly. "I was walking to the diner and he just scooped me up into his arms and rsn with me...." she sobbed and Haruhe looked up at Morgan and then looked away not knowing if he could forgive her.

Morgan wandered in the forest and pulled out his bow as he kept still while he watched the deer. He pulled back the bow and released the bow killing the dear instantly. He cleaned the deer then went back and began to cook the dear with plants and herbs from the forest. He fixed the two girls both a plant and handed it to them. "Here please eat. I will keep guard tonight."

haruhe looked upand nodded. She took the food and made Aqua eat it. Once her friend was asleep she pulled her knees up to her chest and stared into the fire. "Motgan..... Are you made at me?" she whispered softly and looked at him tears come into her eyes. She was scared he would yell at her for fighting that man... Everything she had done was pure instinct.... Like she had done it before....

Morgan turned and stared at her then smiled as he chuckled lightly. "Mad at you no...impressed yes as little disappointed yes. You attacked while in a rage not thinking before you took action. This method will get you killed if you are not careful. I am impressed with how clean you cut his head off you have skills I must admit. How was your dinner and how is your friend?" He walked over to her and gently whipped her eyes and gave her a playful wink. "Beautiful women shouldn't cry over stupid things. I would never be mad at you."

Haruhe smiled slowly as Morgan talked and her heart pounded when he hugged her and wiped away her tears. She knew that he probably did not feel the same way towards her as she felt for him but she knew deep in her heart andgut that she loved him. Thought she was too scared to ever admit it... "I was thinking. I saw the boulder and knew if I jumped ontop of it I could cut off his head or jump away." she said trying to defend herself. "And I think she'll be fine... It's probably going to be in her nightmares for awile because she's never been close to a man besides serving them food... So it's not going to be good.... But I think her lover will help the healing process... Lela was always good with her." she said and smiled at him. It was natural for mermaids to fall inlove with other mermaids because they were all women and things under the sea worked much much different then the land kingdoms. "And the food was good. I've never had deer so it was another new thing for me." she said snd smiled hugging him back, because she just loved his warmth and company.

Morgan rose a brow as he looked down at her. " Is that why you would never go on dates with any of the guys in town Haruhe? Do you have a woman as well? I don't know how to take it if you do. I will be jelous to say the lest, she is a lucky girl if you do." It hurt him a little to think that Haruhe could have a lover that he didn't know about. He didn't know what to do when he was around her any more. He loved her he knew that much but she couldn't be happy with him. He wouldn't be around much and that wasn't far to her. That was the one down side to his job. He was tired of playing that he didn't love her. She was the best thing in the world to him. He looked down at her staring deep in to her beautiful eyes as he held her in his arms. It felt to right to hold her, but what if her uncle and firend didn't understand. He remebered what her uncle had thought and knew that he was right but he couldn't help but love her.

Haruhe looked at Morgan shocked and blushed. "No.... That's not it at all...." she whispered snd looked at her hands in her lap. "I never go anywhere.... Do anything.... Because well.... When I was ten.... There was this guy who always asked to have me as a server though I was just staring... And when uncle was away he asked me to help him carry a basket to his house.... And well..." she whispered but couldn't finish. "Lets just say I didn't come back home until my uncle resqued me..." she said and then looked up at him fear obvious in her eyes as she remembered that time. "Ive been deadly scared of men since then... And only just resently have I gotten used to them again... The only men I could talk to was you and uncle for the longest time..." she whispered and sighed. She never told anyone that except for Aya who had given her some tea to make sure she hadn't gotten pregnant from that man. "Trust me... Relationships have been something that hasn't been big on my list until this year in particular..." she said knowing many a time a mermaid had tried getting to know her better but she had pushed them all away. For a smiling and bright girl, she had a bleek past.

"I promise I will protect you Haruhe. You will have to fear nothing of that from me. Haruhe....I lov..." He went quite knowing this was not the time after what her friend had just went through. He hung his head wishing he could just tell her that he loved her with all his heart and kiss her let her know that how he felt. He just wanted her to be safe and feel safe. He wanted to kill that man as well. Morgan looked to the sky as he saw clouds forming from his growing anger. He closed his eyes and he tried to clam down.

Haruhe listened and when he cut himself off her glowing in her eyes faded. She looked at him and took his hands in her. She intwined their fingers and looked at him. "Morgan.... I-I love you..." she whispered looking straight into his eyes. She had gathered all her courage just to say it. "I do love you Morgan... With all my heart... And there's nothing that can change it..." she whispered lovingly and leaned in kissing him tenderly.
