"I heard some disturbing news, and decided to see if it was true." Bel stuck his tongue out childishly, "It was." he added as an afterthought. He wrapped one arm around Alana to return her hug, "I've been around, here and there. Just exploring. I'm sure you'd love to hear about it, love." Bel yawned again, covering his mouth with his free hand. "And anyway, you were either just extremely brave or extremely stupid to have been able to get me to help you so much. I can count all the people I would do these things for on one hand." And it was true, while Bel might have a lot of friends all over the world, he had very few he would throw everything away for. Alana just happened to be one of them, and no it wasn't cause she was a princess. Really, social status meant little to nothing to him either way.

((Night loves~ I've gotta sleep now XD))

Talitha001 03-04-2010 04:38 AM

She smiled as she listened to him talk. He had always been one of her best friends and now this was so interesting. The idea of him coming here just for her. That was a wonderful and flattering thing.

"I dont know what to say. You didn't have to you know."

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-04-2010 05:16 AM

Apparently his attempt at smiling had failed. As the princess walked off he waved to her.

"Alright, we will remain here."

He turned back towards who he presumed was an elemental and relaxed his face. Perhaps he could practice better in front of a mirror. He really should have prepared for this trip better. He decided he should pass it off as insignificant.

"I am fine, it's nothing."

Haruhe was blushing like crazy at the compliments. She thought she was going to expload from embarrassment. She quickly left to grab a tea set and then smiled at her uncle. She was back to her happy mood again. She walked back over to the table gracefully and give them both a tea cup and filled the cups. "Honey tea... It tastes like honey and yet quenches yourthirst like water." she said smiling. A new creation of hers she had made last week and it seemed to be a hit. "And I am going back to make you some stew all sea food this time. So as to drive off any cold that might come from soaking yourself today." she said smiling at Morgan. "Actually it should almost be done." she said and checked on a few other tables before dissappearing into the kitchen. She then came back with two bowls filled with soup and set them infront of Morgan and the pheonix. "I hope you like it." she said smiling brightly.

Aoi Kazuya 03-05-2010 01:13 AM

"I know." Bel laughed lightly and then tilted his head upwards, to the sky, his lilac-gray eyes twinkled lightly in the light and then he yawned again, "Now that's strange..." he murmured. He fixed his hood and then finally released Alana from the hold he had on her, "Would you mind terribly to show me around? It has been a while since I've been here."

Talitha001 03-05-2010 01:34 AM

She smiled and took his hand.

"COme on I will show you my favorite spot to hang out."

SHe tugged him over to where the golem and elemental were talking and past them to her lakeside area.

"This is my favorite spot. Do you remember it?"

After getting and paying for her food items in the market, Aya smiled and said hello to several more citizens of the city who were her patients either on a regular basis or who were just that friendly, before finding her way over to a diner. It was a pleasant enough place that she knew of and had taken quite a liking to the new tea, Honey Tea that the young girl who worked there had created over the last little while. Since her basket was full, the earth elemental entered the store as silently as her kind did and found a two-seater table that she could set her basket down on a chair instead of the floor and risk having it tipped over or tripped over. Ayana knew Haruhe's uncle, having been treating the man since he was younger for various things that happened. The usual injuries a person sustained when on the job or not in a city as beautiful and large as well as sometimes dangerous, as Albeticus. As she sat down her glittering green eyes took in the scene of the diner and it's customers slash inhabitants with a mixture of amusement and polite regard.

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 01:55 AM

Haruhe smiled and walked around to other tables and then smiled at Aya. She had known the elemental since she was brought here by her uncle. "Aya, welcome." she said brightly and smiled. "Do you want the Honey tea?" she asked knowing Aya had come to like her little creation.

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 02:01 AM

"That sounds heavenly Haruhe, I'd love a pot." Ayana grinned in response to Haurhe's question. The healer knew of the girls...uniqueness, and kept her silence. Mother Earth wasn't a gossip, nor was she needlessly cruel unlike many humans and other species. Thus, neither was Aya. "I hope you're going to make it a permanent feature love, it's too good to be just a special offer!" Yes, Aya tended to speak a little older than she looked, but she called everyone 'love' and 'honey', it was just her way. Of course...if she called you a Toska then you'd know she was angry with you since those were some rather nasty smelling fruits from the south lands. "What have you got on the stove today? Anything meatless? I was out to buy some food for my apprentice Mao and the house and completely forgot to eat before I left said house." Offering a lopsidedly wry grin the earth elemental shrugged her shoulders lightly.

darkninja0200 03-05-2010 02:23 AM

Axel looked on as the princess left. He figured it would be bes to leave her for now. He found the golem to be more interesting anyways "So... or...ol... I'm sorry names are not my strong suit... but Tell me about from where you hail" He wanted to know what kind of golem this guy was. The golem's didn't differ much except by territory so really that question was more small talk then anything.

Aoi Kazuya 03-05-2010 02:28 AM

A smirk graced Bel's lips as he crouched down to examine the surface of the lake, "Remember it? Of course, you used to fall in all the time and I had a hell of a time trying to get you back out." He reached out a pale hand and dipped a slender finger into the water, watching as ripples spread across the crystalline surface, then he retracted his hand and stood up, sighing again, "It seems so long ago doesn't it love?"

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 02:30 AM

Haruhe smiled and nodded. "Its uncle's call." she said as she wrote down the honey tea. "Well I did just make a pot of the seafood stew... Or we have a new salad... Its with a new dressing I invented.... You're pick!" she said happily and another waitress passed. She bumped into Haruhe and nearly dropped everything when Haruhe grabbed her and the tea pot before it could crash to the floor. "You have got to be a little more careful Haley.... Dont be so nervous." Haruhe said lightly and the girl thanked her and left. "She is usually very good on her feet but she just gets nervou when ever that one guy comes in here." she said and giggled. "But at least she's not as bad as me... I can never stay on my feet." she said and laughed happily.

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-05-2010 02:39 AM

Pholios shrugged at this. It was small talk. Golems did it too, but it was no less tiresome. Nevertheless he would answer him. Maybe it would become an interesting conversation at some point.

"I'm from a fortress, in a cave. Like all of my other people. We are born and will die, surrounded by rocks."

He supposed he could have elaborated, but it would be pointless to without giving a history lecture. This would the the ball rolling.

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 02:43 AM

Aya laughed, having flinched when Haley almost sent her things flying. Luckily Haruhe caught and steadied the situation but Ayana still shook her head. "I'm surprised between the two of you girls that you haven't destroyed every teacup and pot in the diner yet! And there's nothing wrong with you healthwise to explain your clumsiness!" The earth elemental shook her head with a grin and looked at the guy that Haruhe indicated that Haley liked. "Hmm, he's a good catch. She should go for it. But onwards to the food...I think I'll just go with the salad please love, you know flesh of the bloody kind doesn't agree with me." As an earth elemental of the purest sort, Aya didn't NEED to eat, but she'd found it to be an enjoyable thing to do once the concept of cooked food and safety in preparations became known and more often than not, practiced. "I love the idea of a new dressing, Goddess only knows you have plenty of ranch and caesar here. Say...have you seen the bakers wife lately? She's nearing her final stage of pregnancy but she hasn't been available whenever I've gone to visit her and she's missed her appointments to see me to make sure the baby's alright. I know she likes to visit you for your chamomile tea sometimes."

Talitha001 03-05-2010 02:54 AM

She smiled at him. It must be nice to be visiting childhood memorys again.

"Its hard to beilive I used to be that crazy looking little child isen't it? I remember when we went for a walk together right before you left and I told you how much you meant to me. Then you told me that you had to leave but you promised to come back. I never thought you would keep that promise."

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 03:04 AM

Haruhe blushed slightly and nodded taking down the order. "Well... No... Uncle has been seeing her though... Ive been going on the arrens in the morning so I have missed her visits." she said lightly and then smiled. "Well, he said she has been doing fine and that the little one should be fine with how carefull she's being." she said knowing Aya was an expert healer and her uncle had picked up a few things from her. "Ill get your tea." she said and walked back into the kitchen. She returned quickly and poured her some tea. She then tripped on a fork flung by a young one and nearly fell. She righted herself though and smiled giving the little one another fork and returned to Aya blushing bright red.

darkninja0200 03-05-2010 03:07 AM

Axel looked at Pholios and thought about what he had said "Hmmm I never thought of golems in that light. I would be lying if I said I didn't think of them as dumb creatures at first... but here you are proving to me that not all creatures arer the same" He detested that about human nature. The fact that one would think of the rest of a group based upon what they would see from a single person "I do apologize for my rudeness... I tend to forget my mouth sometimes" Then he remembered something. "Ah I remembered your name Phallus... am I close?"

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 03:13 AM

Ayana accepted her tea with a shake of her head and a cheerful, if exasperated smile at Haruhe's antics. "Good grief girl. One of these days I'm going to have your uncle come to my shop in a fit of terror because you fell over a final time and had heart failure or something!" Accepting her tea lightly she waved at the older man that was Haruhe's uncle and raised an eyebrow. He nodded, seeing the place wasn't as busy as it had been. "I think you're uncle will allow you to take a break, would you care to have some tea with me? There's no point in making a new creation if you don't partake of it yourself!" She was relieved at the news that the bakers wife, Amara, had been by to visit, but she was still a bit worried over the womans condition. The child had yet to shift enough and the mother was already a week away from the due date for when she would give birth. Unlike human physicians who made a general estimate, owever close, of when the child would decide to be born, Ayana knew instinctively when the child would be ready and had told Amara to see her when she was a week away or close enough to it. Amara had yet to see her. It worried Aya, who normally didn't worry. Picking up a teaspoon, she stirred her tea gently, not adding sugar since it was plenty sweet enough, and awaited Haruhe's response to the offer. She had seen the younger girl speaking with others when she'd arrived and to be truthful didn't wish to drag her from her friends just to visit with the city's best healer. They were good aquaintances, though Ayana rarely made very good friends since the elemental was too long lived and hated seeing her friends grow old and die on her.

Aoi Kazuya 03-05-2010 03:41 AM

"Didn't know you thought so lowly of me." Bel grinned, truthfully he would have come back eventually, had he heard the news or not. This place held a special place within his heart after all. Then he sighed again, "Well I came back, and now I'm going to lose you again." he murmured softly, eyes still watching the surface of the lake.

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 03:42 AM

Haruhe looked at Aya and smiled. "Okay... For a little bit..." she said and sat. She poured herself some tea and took a drink. She smiled widely and nodded. "It just warms up every little crack.." se said cuddling back into her chair more and smiled innosently. She was a very simple girl and making food and making people happy made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She really knew no other life except for when she trained herself at night to one day fofill her dream and become a merknight and fight for the good of the world. But it was a very far fetched dream. "Well I assure you I wont try to give Uncle a heart attack." she said and looked at Aya. She bit her lip as she thought of her question and decided to ask. "Aya, why must I hide what I am?..... Why was it so wrong for my parents to love eachother?" she asked softly. She asked her uncle all the time but he never told her. He just said to leave the past in the past... But she was just dying to know why.

Talitha001 03-05-2010 03:51 AM

She looked at him a moment, A sad expression on her face.

"You know you don't have to lose me."

She put her hand out and took his in it. She put it to her cheek. She could feel a tear fall.

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 03:54 AM

The girls question made Ayana blink in surprise. She had thought that Haruhe's uncle would have told her by now, or at least explained in some way or other. "Hmmm....well Haruhe, there's many different reasons to hide what you truly are, a, please pardon me if this wording is rude, but a half-breed of any sort is considered both a threat....and a shame. Depending on the culture, a creature who is neither one creature nor another is a very strange occurrence, and many see it as an abomination. Something that shouldn't exist. Now, please know that this is not my own feelings in this, it's just a statement of fact. I believe personally that if there is the emotion humans know as love then there is no such thing as an abomination or a wrong involved in having a child who is both. Parents who love each other will always see the best of themselves in their child or children...however...some people in the sepparate societies will not see the best, only the worst. You have both adorable ears, and your fins are magnificently colored, two very good things from two entirely different races. Others would see...I don't know, maybe they'd see fur and then your fins and think they are ugly simply because you have both opportunites. Of course, there's also those who would be jealous of your gifts. And there are mages and such in different countries who could try to hurt you to figure out how you work, or try to steal your abilities...." Taking another sip of her tea, the earth elemental looked at the golden coloring of it pensively before continuing. "There are any number of reasons why a beautiful Sareya, halfling, like yourself should hide one side or the other of yourself, both for emotional and physical reasons. There are many, many reasons to protect yourself." She held up her hand lightly "Not just physically, say if an attack were to occurr, and yes I know you do something to keep yourself toned and strong, though you might wish to be careful with what you do, you may be able to protect yourself...but emotions are much more delicate things to protect. Think of it this way; how do you think it would feel if you showed someone, a friend say, your true self and they found you repulsive? Or...or hated you on sight afterwards from jealousy?"

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-05-2010 03:56 AM

Pholios missed the joke going on here. Had he the knowledge he most likely would have considered challenging him. Elementals weren't known for their toughness beyond words. He could have won, but it would serve no purpose other to end any diplomatic relations he had here. It was probably fortunate that he missed such a joke.

"Close, Pholios. And you are Axel, correct?"

Aoi Kazuya 03-05-2010 04:01 AM

Bel shook his head, "Don't tell me your crying princess, come now." he lifted her head up by the chin, "Smile or I'm going to get in trouble for making you cry love." He then smiled sadly, "Your getting married soon, and I'm sure you'll find your perfect match. I'll even help if that's what it takes." He released her and drew his cloak around himself, hiding his hands within their folds, "Have you met any of your suitors yet?" he inquired, tone suddenly distant.

darkninja0200 03-05-2010 04:04 AM

Axel looked at his newfound acquaintance. There was no joke intended he was just that horrible at names. "Correct my friend... since I now know a bit about you I think it fair that you know a bit abolut me... I have lived 18 years of my life on top of a mountain in solitude honing my skills... that explains why I still have a hard time with my mouth at times" He made a ball of electricity and let it crackle in his hand before he absorbed it back into his hand. "As a lightning elemental I have a variety of abilities"
