She looked at him with tears falling down her cheek. He had seriously just rejected her. How could he just throw her away like that? She loved him. Didn't he feel the same? SHe frowned. One of the reasons she was so hostile towards everyone was because she had missed him so much and now he was actually rejecting her.

"Bel.....Please."

She sighed.

"Yes a couple of them."

"Ah, I had a theory on you being an elemental. Good to know Golems are not the only one left from some of the oldest of times. I am curious though, what mountain was it?"

Pholios knew a bit about mountains, having grown up in one. He knew some of the nearby ones, but he wasn't aware of every mountain and hill. He preferred caves to mountains, away from the weather. Rain made a mess of the soil, turning it to slush. It was hardly ideal.

Axel's eyebrow raised at the question. "Well actually it was the one closest by... It get's pretty cold up there... but the conditions up there make for good training as well as resistance" In his time up there he had built up a sort of resistance to the cold. He was no where near immune though. "Though hardly a place for a golem I'd bet." He had a small cavern up there that he'd spent those 18 years in.

A smirk appeared on his lips again, a darker one this time, "Maybe I should meet them hm?" he wondered aloud. Then his expression softened again, "It's not your fault princess." He knew he had hurt her, "It's...you know how your father feels about me. He would never allow it."

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 04:36 AM

Haruhe nodded listening closely. She paled at the thought of being attacked or killed. She did not like violence unless there was a good reason for it... And being a half-breed didn't seem to be big enough. "So uncle was right..." she whispered and then looked up at Aya. "The truth is.... About two months ago, when uncle and I were traviling back home someone saw right threw me... He knew what I was without even knowing my name..." she whispered staring at the golden tea. "He attacked uncle for harboring a little halfbreed bitch like me..." she whispered and her grip tightened around the tea cup. "I stopped him... I took my sword and stabbed him... I didn't kill him... But uncle did... He said their were three types of people in the world. Ones that will hate you on an impulse... One that will tolerate you.... And one that will become protective of you for who or what you are... I think he's right..." she whispered painfully about on the brink of tears.

Immediately Ayana was around the table and had her hand on Haruhe's shoulder. She did that so that if the girl broke down crying then no one else in the diner would see her do so since from where Ayana was standing it blocked the others from seeing Haruhe's face. Calm and kind, Aya smiled slightly. "Hey now...there are actually four types in this world you know. One; yes there are those that will try to harm you because of hatred or jealousy, two; ones that will tolerate your existence, third will, yes, be those who will become protective of you because of what or who you are.....and four, there are those who really do not care if you are a Sareya, or a pureblood or something not even alive, they would help you if you needed it. I am one of those I'd like to think. I try to get along with everyone I meet, no matter their stations or origins. I'll tell you what, if you ever, EVER, have another problem with someone attacking you again, you come to me alright? You're uncle is all well and good, I know he's a good fighter but he's getting older, and you......dear girl that you are, are too kind a soul to kill a person, even in self defense. I know this for certain at least." She didn't add that, even though she was a healer, or perhaps BECAUSE she was a healer, she knew how to kill and maim effortlessly and had no qualms about it. After all, The Mother Earth may be mostly about Life....but She was also just as much about Death. After thinking for a moment she voiced a question that had nagged at her thoughts for a little while, since she'd noticed the other girls body and the results of her training. "Who has been teaching you to fight Haruhe?"

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-05-2010 04:57 AM

"Oh no, it sounds fine. There is enough food, just the rain that gets annoying."

He would have to see where this went. Isolation never really did many people good. It was good for the mind at first, but it ate away at the mind eventually. He supposed perhaps it had to do with forming and tearing down viewpoints. Either way he could look into it at some point. For now this conversation would do.

"But I do prefer a cave."

Talitha001 03-05-2010 04:58 AM

She looked up at him.

"I know. I know he hates you. I just think that you are the only person who could ever make me truly happy. I would do anything if I could be with you. I would elope. I don't care. I just can't live another second without you."

She wrapped her arms around him and began to sob into his chest.

"Please dont reject me again."

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 05:03 AM

haruhe let her tears fall as Aya shielded her from the diner. She pushed away her tea cup and stared at the table. She was so greatful for Aya... She was almost like the mother she never had. "I-I have been teaching myself Aya.... So I can be strong enough to use my father's blade..." she whispered. Her father had been a very honorable werewolf who was no less then a knight. She had always wanted to take after her mother and be kind and light hearted all the time but at the same time she wanted to be strong and fearless like her father. "Uncle wears himself out too much... So I just train myself when I can... I'm getting really close to being able to swing the sword properly..." she said and sniffled.

darkninja0200 03-05-2010 05:08 AM

Axel agreed with the golem on the caves part. He had grown accustomed to sleepin on a cavern floor to the point where when he gets an inn room he just clears a space in the middle of the floor and sleeps there no covers no pillows just the cold stone or wood floor. "I am in agreeance with you on the cave floor bit"

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 05:17 AM

Ayana listened to the girl speak, then sighed quietly and bent a little to hug the crying halfling gently. "Shhh....it's alright you know. At least you haven't hurt yourself too much with this self-training of yours. If you'd care to however, I could teach you some things about self defense. Not with a sword mind you, because you cannot always have your sword at your side, but unarmed combat is very effective. And a bit of instruction is always a good thing when doing something dangerous. Strength is always all well and good child, but you must also be aware that the mind can be just as powerful a tool as pure strength and skill. Now come, wipe those tears and let me see one of your bright smiles. We can't have the other townsfolk thinking that I made you cry now can I? I mean I know I'm a cruel wench when it comes to medicines but I'm not heartless!" She smiled teasingly as she said that, glancing to the side as she felt Haruhe's uncle starting to approach out of concern. Turning her head slightly as she spoke, the elemental shook her head slightly and offered a faint smile so that he'd leave. "And your uncle will definitely hear from me too if he keeps up his level of excercise. He's wearing himself out too fast as well as too much. He'll end up bed ridden if he keeps going like he is now. I'll have a chat with him in a little bit. Are you alright now? I can understand how stressful it is to keep secrets love, don't bottle up your concerns so much it's not healthy for you."

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-05-2010 05:24 AM

Pholios thought briefly to him home, it would be nice to be there now, were he not here being a glorified diplomat. It's true he was supposed to vie for the princess but he knew it wasn't like he had a choice. It was his duty, just like fighting only now with hidden enemies, and the ones he could see he couldn't simply beat to death. He had to admit his superiors probably just picked a Golem who was less likely to start an international incident, and figured he was good enough.

"Caves are much better I would say, and when you know how to avoid a cave-in they can become very stable towns. We rarely have problems with bandits. They are . . . fragile."

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 05:29 AM

Haruhe nodded and wiped away her tears. Aya was right. She needed to be trained. There was only so much she could do herself... She then wrapped her arms around Aya needin the comfort. She really wanted a mother at these times but thanks to Aya the need was a little less. She then pulled away and smiled best she could. "I will try to find time Aya.... Do you have a sepcific time in which you could train me?" she asked softly and watched her uncle take up her waitress duties while she was talking to Aya.

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 05:43 AM

"Hmmm...well, to be honest any time is alright. My shop is rarely busy at this time of year since flu and cold season are over with. Mao knows how to take care of flesh wounds and she knows how to get ahold of me if a serious case comes into the clinic. If you don't mind, we could work on your training at...an hour after noon? That will take you out of the lunch rush I think, so your uncle can cope with the tasks of the diner and Haley can help out as well whilest you get the ducation on how to fight properly." She truly liked this girl, Haruhe, the girll reminded her of what she'd always wanted but had never been able to have. A child of her own. Of course Haruhe was nearly grown up now by both her rces standards as far as Aya knew, but she was still a young child, and Ayana felt that particular instinctive motherliness that she'd been given the ability to feel upon her creation by Mother Earth so many years ago. Letting go when Haruhe pulled back, she smiled gently before taking her seat again across from the waitress-girl and picked up her tea as if nothing had happened. Taking a sip, she smiled cheerily. "It tastes just as good cold! It'd be perfect for when the heat waves hit the city!"

((Agh, I have to go now, bedtime and all that fun stuff...I shall respond and such in the morning~! ))

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 01:08 PM

Haruhe blushed and smiled the best she could as she stood. "Well thank you Aya..." she said with her whole heart. She was so very greatful for the women's help that she really couldn't put it into words. "I shall grab your salad." she said and smiled. She walked back into the kitchen and grabbed the salad. She took two types of dressing out and set them on the table. "Heres the regular dressing you use and here's the new one I made. Enjoy." she said and smiled a little brighter.

LenGe 03-05-2010 01:54 PM

((where are you guys? A cave or a cafe?))

Daeman35 03-05-2010 03:01 PM

((Can someone fill me in im completely lost))

Shuuraya 03-05-2010 04:09 PM

((Umm, I'm not sure about the others, but Haruhe(Seer) and Ayana(Me) are in a diner that Haruhe's uncle runs....))

Aya smiled in delight when Haruhe brought out her sala and the new, as well as her regular, dressing. Taking a sniff of the new dressing she blinked then smiled. "A raspberry vinaigrette? Or did you add anything extra to it to make it have that nip to the scent?" Pouring a tiny bit onto her finger she tried it and nodded before adding it to her salad. Then she polished off her now cold tea and added "Why don't you grab me a small pot of it, then I don't have to keep bothering you for refills."

((Geh...short...>.<; ))

darkninja0200 03-05-2010 04:24 PM

Axel smiled and laughed a bit at that comment "Ah that they are a quick lightning bolt and most bandits would flee... though you occasionally get the stupid ones who think they are all that and they sometimes can put up a fight. But in the end they end up running or dying. even when you spare them sometimes they get right back up and try to get you from behind then you really have no choice whether or not to put them down. That's why I'm down here searching for a Lady I can court. So I can get away from this madness..." He looked up at the blue sky overhead that was dotted by clouds. "... But I'm afraid that while I am like this I will be forced to take up arms. It's not that I mind. I just want to be able to relax with someone. But you know what they say about heroes" he laughed a bit.

Daeman35 03-05-2010 05:24 PM

((Oh i am too... Uh i think im waiting on Morgan then))

Seer Of the Future 03-05-2010 10:30 PM

Haruhe smiled and nodded. "Sure I'll bring that right over." she said and went into the kitchens and grabbed a pot. She brought it back and set it onthe table. "And if you can guess what's in the vinigerette I'll have to applaud you. No one has guessed it yet." she said smiling. In truth it was rasberries strawberries and a hint of blueberries. She found it good for those who wanted a light salad. She then left for Morgan's table and smiled atthe two. "How is your sea food stew? Warming you up?" she asked lightly looking from the elf to the phenoix.

Bel's expression turned grim and he ruffled Ayana's hair, "What did I tell you about crying princess?" he murmured and then quickly loosened her arms from around him, "I won't leave. I promise." He whispered and smiled at his dear beloved, "I don't know how long I'll be able to keep this one but I'll try. You know I'm wonder stricken. I can't stay in one place too long." Then he sighed and reached up a hand to tug his hood lower, casting shadows over his eyes so they couldn't be seen, "And you can't elope, love, you know what would happen if you abandoned your status as princess."

Talitha001 03-06-2010 01:25 AM

She looked up at him sadly.

"I just want to be with you so bad. I would rather die than lose you again. My dads just jealous. He thinks I should marry someone better off than you are. SOmeone royal or close to it. I wont do it. I want to be with you. I do. I would rather you than any other person on the face of this earth."

She was starting to cry again.

Unlmtd_Cassimir 03-06-2010 01:27 AM

Pholios listened intently. Maybe this wouldn't be bad. He was only here for a few days anyway. He supposed he should keep the conversation going. It might be interesting to see differences in culture. He would have to look at this at some point. Now was perhaps not the best time though. They might want to get into town before it became too late.

"Golems have a word for when someone ceases to be a hero. It translates roughly to: dead. Either way is the town far from here? It might be best if we continue in that direction."

Aoi Kazuya 03-06-2010 01:43 AM

Bel saw she was about to cry again and then extended both arms from under his cloak, "How would you like to go flying for a bit?" he asked softly, "Just until we get back to the village, I still have to tell your dear father that I'm back." he muttered.
