Morgan smiled as he took a seat beside her. "Of course what are friends for?" He gave her a playful wink as he looked to the sky. "The sky is clear and clean after a storm it is strange is it not. You know I have never been in the river I am said to say. How is it in there?" He turned and looked at Haruhe. "I might have to shift into a fish or something and join you one day."
Haruhe smiled and looked up atthe sky. "It is but nature is odd but sometimes the oddest things are beautiful." she whispered and then smiled. "Well I would give you a personal tour myself if I knew myself.... I have only been in the ocean.... And that's wonderful.... But of course I'm not welcome in the sea kingdom so unfortunately I couldn't show you that...." she said and then covered her mouth. She wasn't suposed to hint that she was a half breed. "Oh please don't tell anyone I said that." she whisperer worriedly and looked at him pleadingly.
Morgan have her a slight nod. "You have my word your secret is safe with me Haruhe. Besides who would believe a elf?" He laughed as the thought about it. He was one of the elfs that was known far and wide. "Ok forget that last part I promise not to tell. Though I don't know how you are going to keep it a secret for the others from long. I will help you any way I can." Morgan felt his breath taken away as he looked at her. She had always been beautiful but he had never seen just how beautiful she was. He wanted to tell her and admire her but he didn't want to make things awkward.
Haruhe smiled softly and looked at him thankfully. "Thank you Morgan... Maybe I'll show you my werewolf side someother time when I'm not wet." she said happily and smiled brightly. She then blushed looking into his deep eyes. "I forgot to tell you at the diner.... Your eyes... They're very mesmerizing.... Like they hold all the secrets to your amazing life." she whispered and blushed more. "Sorry...." she whispered hoping she hadn't just made things wierd.
Morgan smiled and blushed slightly as he stared at her. He leaned closer as he gently held her chin and looked deep into her eyes. "You are very beautiful Haruhe and hold your own mesmerizing ability. I hope you never lose it that is one of the things I love about you. Don't blush about saying that. Thank you I will take it as a complement." He gently let her chin go as he laughed. "Well my fox form should be enough to keep up with your other form I could show you things in the forest you haven't seen."
Baruhe looked into his eyes and her heart stopped as he took her chin in his strong but gentle hands. She wanted so badly to close that small distance between them as her heart screamed for her to be brave and make that first move. But she was too shy. "Well... I can't actually faze into a wolf... Only claws, ears, and a tail..." she whispered sadly. "I really wish I could though...." she whispered and then perked up. "But I would love you to show me the forest! This is only my second time in the forest..." she said and put her hands down. She blushed as she felt she had put her hand on his. "Sorry." she said sheepishly and began pulling her hand away though she loved his touch.
Morgan smiled at Haruhe. He loved to feel her soft touch and gently took her hand before she could moved it holding it gently. He shook his head as he laughed then looked at her. "I think there was a reason your uncle wouldn't let you stay long at my table beside the other customers. You know Haruhe you are one of the highlights of my day. I love coming by to the dinner because you can put a smile on anyone's face and make their day amazing. This whole thing with the princesses is to tiring. She is my friend and I will do anything to help her but as my job to her father I must do everything he wishes for me to do. I wish some times I hadn't made this my home but if I hadn't I wouldn't have found or meet you would I?" Morgan's eyes glowed slightly as he looked at her. His eyes shifted to her tail as his smile widen. He then looked into Haruhe's eye then leaned into her and gently kissed her. Pulling away he blushed slightly. "Thank you for being the light of my day Haruhe."
Haruhe listened to him and took in everything. She understood what he ment. Having to please two people would be very hard. Knowing her she would probably trip up, quite literally. She then was surprised as he leaned forward and kissed her. She blushed but loved the moment more then anything. "Well you are my connection to the out side world.... And I must thank you for that.... I need you too." she whispered and couldn't help but kiss him tenderly again. She felt her heart pound as she pulled away and she smiled caringly. She suddenly felt the change comming and light began flowing from her. She let go of his hand and her fin turned to legs. As she began to dull in the bright light she pulled his cloak around herself and smiled sheepishly. "Im sure my change always picks the most unconveanient times to happen." she said and laughed lightly.
Morgan was happy that she returned his kiss. He felt his heart pound against the inside of his chest as he sat there with her. " That is life though things always happen when it is the most inconvenience of times. Well shall we head back to the Dinner?" Morgan stud and gently leaned down and picked Haruhe up in his arms smiling at her as he held her in his arms. He laughed as he looked at her. He had never been as happy as he was when he was near Haruhe he loved her humor. "You don't give yourself enough credit for things Haruhe. You are very talented and much more. Besides having a good heart and a great since of humor. You can always find the good in anything that happens. That makes you one of a kind. I have meat many but none who can find good in anything like you do Haruhe."
Haruhe smiled and blushed. She looked at him and smiled brightly. "Thats because there is good in everything." she said and looked into his eyes. "When we get back I think it calls for some honey tea and a light salad. I made a new dressing. I want you to guess what's in it." she said and smiled brightly. "And really I can walk!" she said and laughed. She gently got down from his arms and pulled on her dress. Shethen scooped up her basket and began walking a little ways. She tripped on a root and stumbled backwords into Morgan. She laughed and looked up at him. "I said I could walk. I didn't say I could walk well." she said anf laughed more.
Morgan laughed as he looked down at her and gently helped her to her feet again and walked beside her. He kept at a slow pace to make sure Haruhe didn't fall again without him there to lend a hand."You are correct. And I can't wait to try your new creation. You know I enjoy my teas. Are you sure you want to make tea and a salad though? You could use some rest instead I don't' want to be any trouble to you. I still feel bad for this whole mess."
Haruhe smiled and laughed. "Oh it's no trouble at all. Come now! I never turn down my favorite customer!" she said and smiled brightly. "Anyway, it's a thing that makes me happy. Seeing peoples faces lighting up when they take a bite... It makes me feel good... That I made them smile..." she said softly gazing off into space softly imagining the sight. She then looked at him and smiled snapping out of her daze. "Pluse, making new things gives me something to do while buisness is slow and you're not there." she added holding up a finger and winked. "Oh by the way." she said stopping in her tracks. She smiled and suddenly cute red wolf ears and a tail appeared. "And that's what I ment by my other form." she said and gave a small giggle as she brushed his arm with her tail.
Morgan blushed as he felt her tail run along his legs. He smiled as he chuckled and gently wrapped his arms around her waste and stared into her beautiful eyes. "You are making it hard to tell you no and to behave around you. And you are very cute I must say. Haruhe I think I am in trouble with you. You are my friend and I shouldn't think of you the way I am but Haruhe I love you. I understand if you don't feel the same way though I am sure you do. I promise I didn't read your mind. You are one of the few I choose not to."
Haruhe smiled and looked into his eyes. She put a finger to his lips and smiled. "I love you Morgan.... Since we first talked...." she whispered her ears and tail dissappearing and she cupped his cheek. "Dont worry so much... You have enough of it in your life the way it is." she whispered softly and then kissed him tenderly. She then smiled and took his other hand in hers. "Now come on worry wort, we have to get to the diner before uncle has a heart attack." she said and laughed lightly. As she came to town she waved at a gender who was beginging to close up and then looked at the diner. "Well it doesn't look busy. So I'm sure uncle won't mind if we talk." she said and smiled at him brightly.
Morgan could only smile as he followed her. He loved hearing those words from her and her smile. He shook his head."Humph worry wort am I? I hope he doesn't mind I will help you if you like?" Morgan open the door for her holding if for her to go in. He gave her a slight bow. "ladies first, hurry and let your uncle know you are ok I'll take my seat where I do all the time and wait for you."
Haruhe smiled and nodded. "Alright. I'll talk to him and then bring the food out in a jiffy." she said happily and pecked him on the cheek before hurrying into the kitchen. She hugged her uncle and told him about Morgan helping her and then put a pot of tea on the stove and made the salads. She balaced the plates and took the tea pot and smiled brightly seeing Morgan. She sat and set the salad infrontof him with the strawberry, rasberry, and blueberry vinigerette. "And the tea and walla!" she said pouring the tea and then smiled at him sitting across from him. "Oh uncle says hi." she added lightly.
Morgan smiled as he looked at her. He shifted his eyes to the other room where her uncle was. He whispered hello to him in his mind then looked back to Haruhe. He looked at the food impressed as his mouth watered. "Amazing as always. You better be careful some one is going to marry you one day for your cooking." Morgan said teasingly to her thought someone could she was the best cook around. Morgan waited for her to eat first before he touched his.
Haruhe stuck her tounge out playfully at his teasing and took bite. She chewed happily and then took a sip of tea. "Well then they would be a glutton and I would toss them out on the street." she teased back and waved as her uncle left to go upstairs. She then turned back to Morgan and smiled. "He thinks your okay. He just is really protective of me.../ cuz of what I am..." she said softly and shrugged. "He has a right to be though... Expecially since that guy gave him drugged tea so he could hurt me..." she whispered. She found explaining things to him was so easy and it made her feel so much better. "And then when we went to visit the ocean a week ago a guy tried killing me for no reason except he saw my ears and heard me singing and knew I was a half breed... I stabbed him but uncle killed him... He said I shouldn't have to kill anyone... Did you know he and my father were knights for the werewolf king.... Before my father and mother were found out when I was born... I have his sword actually." she said and looked at him wondering what he thought about this.
Morgan took a bite of the salad and enjoyed. He nodded as he lessened to her story. He looked up at her as he pondered. "Hum well I agree with him. You shouldn't have to kill and none should trie and kill you. Really they where. You know I could teach you how to use the sword if you like. If you have it you may use it. I don't like the idea of you having it but if you had to use it I would feel better if you knew how to use it. I don't understand why people want to kill others because of what they are. It has always bothered me. If only they could get to know the other they wouldn't want to kill them." Morgan looked at his food as he thought about the matter.
Haruhe nodded and smiled. "I would love that. Uncle was going to teach me how to use a bow like my mother used and Aya is going to teach me self defense. I really do want to use my father's sword though." she said and her eyes gleamed as she spoke. "Both my parents were amazing knights. I want to be like them." she said and looked at him. "I want to fight for people like me. To prove we can be good people who can do amazing things." she said and looked at him her expression softening. "Do you think that's a bad dream?" she asked sheepishly looking at her salad.
Morgan laughed and looked at her then rolled his eyes in disbelief. "You are playing with me correct? How could it be a bad dream? If that is what you are called to do it is a amazing dream. Not many are called to be one to stand up from many people. I will tell you now the journey will be long and ruff to say the lest. You will be tested by people, the elements and by your family. I can tell you from experience that it is a amazing job and I wouldn't have it any other way. You will worry about things from now and then. You'll become the worry wort!" Morgan looked at her smiling as he shook his head. "Though I don't recommend you rely on just your weapons in battle. They will only get you so far. I know that strength wise there are plenty of men stronger than me. But I rely on my brains not only my browns to win my battles. I have gone far with my brains. You don't have to be a fast pray to escape the hunter just smarter than the hunter."
Haruhe smiled and nodded understanding hat he ment. "I was also wondering... Since I'm planning on going soon... That maybe.... You could come with me." she said and looked up at him and blushed. "Unless you have the princess and the king to serve then I completely understand and you should do it.... I just-....." she said and bit her lip. "Want to share my adventure with you." she whispered and looked at him with her bright eyes.
Morgan smiled and looked into her eyes. "I would love to go with you. The king has no need for me at this time. Who would turn down a beautiful girl." He laughed as he finished his salad enjoying the tea. "The only sad part is I have to say goodbye to you tonight. I will get supply's for the trip if you like."
Haruhe's eyes lit up happily and when he said yes she had jumped to her feet and hugged him happily. "Thank you!" she said happily and then pulled away. "Okay. Supplies is good but I'll provide the food." she said and laughed lightly. She couldn't believe her luck at getting a chance to fufill her dream. She then nodded knowing he had to leave and handed him his cloak. "Dont be so glum about saying good bye. It means tommarrow will come faster and I'll get to see you again sooner." she said brightly and smiled.
Morgan smiled and took his cape and he stud. He kissed Harhe good bye and gave her a bow then turned and open the door. Before he left he looked over his shoulder. "Thank you Harhe till the morning good night." Morgan turned and left pulling his hood over his head as it began to rain this time he had nothing to do with it. He smiled as the soft rain fell as he went about the town getting the supply's they would need. After a while he returned to his home at the edge of the woods and was happy to see it. He packed a bag of things he would need then went out to his stables. He smiled as he saw the young boy from the inn keeper who Morgan let turn his home into a inn for guest though his quarters where off limits to all. The boy smiled and gave him a hug happy to see him safe and in one piece. Morgan asked him how the horse where after finding out he asked him to pick two out for him that could travel fast and last on a long journey. He then checked in one the boy's family to see if they needed anything before he turned in for the night. After helping out around the place Morgan took his bath then went to bed.
