Plenus Luna Mayhem ((Aya and Tally Only Please~!))
Name: Layla Anyana Meruca
Age: 25 Race: Human Personality: She's quiet, kindhearted and a total loner. She doesn't like large crowds or huge groups, and she gets a headache whenever she's around more than one or two people for more than an hour. Of course, just because she's quiet and kind doesn't mean she cannot get angry. It's rare when she does so, but if something happens or someone deliberately provokes her, Layla can become rather cruel and mean, pointing out each and every one of the instigators faults and problems within a space of a minute.....it tends to shock and scare people that the quiet, soft spoken herbal remedy and flower shop owner can be so mean but, that's what happens when you get on her bad side. And if that person doesn't appologize in some form or other than expect to be treated coldly, professionally, but coldly, until such time as the appology is made and accepted. Bio: Hmm, well she grew up a bit away from the town, in the mountains actually where her parents owned a farming ranch. Horses and chickens, with a couple of goats for dairy and eggs, her father Jack worked with the horses, who except for three were actually brought in by others for him to train, and farmed the land to grow vegetables and fruits while Layla's mother, Irene gardened and made medicines, kept the house and made foods and such to sell at the towns market place once a month. Layla grew up responsible and polite to strangers, but she was never comfortable around more than a few people at a time and when she was around thirteen began to complain of headaches whenever she had to visit others for longer than an hour or so. Her mother and father took her to specialists and doctors, but nothing could be figured out except that perhaps Layla, being so isolated her entire life so far, was simply extremely sensitive to energy, peoples energy actually. One doctor told her once that it was similar to being an empath, someone who senses others emotions, yet it was more along the lines where the energy from others actually attacked her, draining her own energy. Well, that was simple enough to avoid, her mother and father kept her away from large groups, and Layla stopped going to the marketplace........until one night when a fire started in the barn. With horses panicking in their stalls her father raced out of the house with her mother and a now seventeen year old Layla in tow to help get the dozen horses freed. Layla, the coroner, police and fire department folks aren't sure what exactly happened that night, except that Irene and Jack went to the back of the barn where the blaze was strongest in order to free the animals while Layla was set to freeing the ones nearest the barn door. She had managed to free all of them and was heading towards the back of the barn when apparently a kerosene barrel exploded, sending Layla flying.......and killing her parents instantly. The fire was labeled an accident, though Layla will always swear up and down that it wasn't to this day, Jack would have NEVER left anything explosive or hazardous near the horses that were their main stay for money. Anyways, by the time Layla was allowed out of the hospital after being treated for second and third degree burns along the right side of her body except for her face, she moved to a smaller house nearer the town and sold the items within the house and barn, the animals still alive and left the house and farm to rot, though she still goes up into the area to pick the fruits and vegetables, find herbs and such since she's taken over her mother's job of creating medicines and remedies. She has her business out of her home and it's very popular, though she only allows three or four people at a time within her home. Appearance: Layla Meruca though she normally wears longer skirts and peasant blouses. She rarely ever wears shoes so her feet are bare, and because of her clothing and her hairstyle(same in the picture) she's been given the nickname Witch of the Town or Priestess of Moonfall, the town's official name. I'll explain what she wears whenever she's not in the longer skirts and peasant blouses as we go along..... |
Name: Jax Darius
Age: 30 Race: Werewolf Personality: He is very outspoken If he has a problem with something you will for sure know about it. As a human he has a horrible temper. He can usually be a nice person but if you mess with him enough you will regret it. He can be mean if you make him angry enough. He loves to spend time out in the woods with nature and animals. He would rather be there than anywere around humans. Humans always seem to make him feel left out and ostrasized. He spends all of his time with his work. He is a merchant. He owns his own meat shop. Its something he can concentrate on. Bio: He was born in a simple town called Beturana. His parents treated him well but when he was 10 years old his parents were killed by a female werewolf who wanted the ten year old to replace her own cub she had lost. He was taken to live with her and in order to change him to actually become her cub she bit him on his arm. It caused her wolf dna to merge with his human blood turning him into a werewolf. He cried for three days straight as the initial change took place. After this he got more sensitive hearing and sence of smell. He loved his mother very much until the day she was killed by jealous townsmen who blamed her for there losses in livestock. When his mother was killed when he was 16 he moved to another town. After living on the streets for a few years he figured out that he could actually make a living by selling meat he catches. He has gotten used to being a werewolf. The changes take two minutes at the longest and he changes on the full moon only. During the day he is a human and every night not a full moon. He opened his own meat shop where he sells every type of meat available. Appearance: http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...SpiritWolf.jpg http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...kami_demon.jpg |
((Cuuute! Does he have a half-way form? Considering a werewolf generally does have one....??? )) Layla yawned and stretched, waking up to the sounds of the birds in the tree outside of her second story bedroom window. The tree was an enormous old oak that had been around since before the town of Moonfall had began and she had found out that the old tree had a large number of small animals who made it their home. Climbing out of bed and letting the sheet, which had once more wrapped itself about her toga-style while she slept, drop to the floor the tall, dark haired young woman strode naked to the in-room bathroom that was modeled after a traditional Japanese bathing room. After taking care of the basic necessities; brushing hair, dealing with her bladder, etc, she grabbed a quick clean-up shower and sauntered back to her room to get dressed in the outfit she'd chosen the night before. Today was Market Day, the one day a month when everyone from three towns over and farther gathered in Moonfall for a trading-selling-buying festival. It was also the day when she the most busy; between selling flowers and candles and prescribing remedies for colds and ailments of all sorts, Layla also dealt with the local disputes, those petty arguments between neighbours and friends that somehow always managed to end up coming to a bursting point in her shop. Fixing the cloth and lace barrettes to her long knee length hair so that it was more or less waist length once more, the dark eyed woman looked at herself in the mirror and sighed quietly, looking over her outfit. A simple black broom skirt and an emerald green peasants blouse that was off the shoulder showed off pale skin that never tanned nor burnt and the hair ties left her bangs to frame a face that was a bit thin with large eyes, her best feature according to others she knew and spoke with. Covering her mouth in a yawn Layla padded down the stairs to the door that led to the first level that held her kitchen, workroom and store. The old Victorian styled house was a restored beauty with polished oak panelling and a staircase that she'd fallen in love with when she'd bought the place a little under seven years before. Setting the tea she made to steeping a few minutes of blessed silence later and snagging some berries she'd picked in her forays through the forest a day or so back and she unlocked the front door to her business slash home, set the sign to open and walked behind the small counter that held an old fashioned cash register, grabed her tea and put some honey in it then sat down at the stool behind the counter and waited. All of this she managed in less than an hour and the sun was just rising over the mountains that surrounded the small town that she lived so near to....and yet was apart from all the same. |
(heh. Dont make me have to google search again. It took ten minutes just to find a wolf I liked. Ill just do a description if he changes.
This is what you get for trying to make me go through those horrible pictures again :feesh: :P ) Jax woke up and sat up in bed rubbing his eyes. It was another day of having to deal with all the stupid people who wanted his meat. God he hated people so much. He stretched his hands above his head and cracked his neck by turning his head to either side. He went to the bathroom and took care of the basic things including a shower. He stood around in a towel wrapped around his waist. His home was just something he had built above his shop. It made it so much easier for him to go to work. It was two rooms. It had a living room/kitchen with a futon that he slept on and then a bathroom. It was semi-messy but not to bad considering he rarely cleaned. He put on his regular outfit including a white apron to keep his clothes from getting dirty. He was very proud of his muscles so he wore a white shirt that exposed his belly. He was very built but part of that was because he was a werewolf. They were notoriously stronger than the average human. He went downstairs and put on the open sign. He went into the freezer and brought out a ton of meat so that he could begin carving for his customers. |
((Hehehehehe! ^-^; Sawwy! )) By noon the most of her customers had come and gone, leaving behind a trail of footprints in mud on her floor and a migraine starting at her temples from the four arguments she'd been forced to fix before things got physical. 'Everyone knows that Allister and Annette have been cheating on each other for the last two YEARS! Why bring it up now of all times, and in my SHOP?! Ugh!' Frowning slightly as she saw the last customer out with a bag of cold remedy, bandaids and a small bouquet of lavender to freshen up his home, Layla turned the open sign to closed and began to tidy up. It took less than twenty minutes before she had cleaned to her idea of cleanliness, i.e everything darned near sparkling, and then she slipped out of her 'business' clothing and instead put on a slightly more worn skirt that was sky blue and a peasants blouse in pastel green. Once she'd changed out of the somber-er clothing she snaged a basket with some small gardening implements, grabbed a coat that she'd made from a bolt of fleece, locked up shop and headed for the pathway behind her house that led out towards the forest. The woman generally did that, opening shop during the mornings and then heading out in the afternoon to find plants and such, she rarely came home before dark and the townsfolk knew that if she didn't open shop the next morning then they should send out a search party. Many of the women in the town had joked in the past that Layla might as well be a wood spirit for all that she lived in a house and looked human enough. The last time a search had been raised for the resident 'doctor' the men had found Layla sleeping in the branches of a low hanging willow tree, without a scratch on her though the tree had been surrounded by thistles and prickle bushes. That was another reason why her nickname was Witch, or Priestess of Moonfall. Generally she was just called Witch though. Allowing her feet to take her towards the direction of her old home, the now crumbling and decrepit old farm where her mother and father had died, Layla barely noticed the time as the sun sank slowly below the horizon, slowly but steady in it's progress. The old farmhouse was about halfway between Moonfall and another town...it started with a B but she never really remembered the towns names and such, they were all so small that barely anyone called it anything other than 'the town' or 'home'. Just as the sun sank below the horizon and the moon began to peek up over the mountains she made it to the clearing that used to be so neatly kept but was now little more than a mass of weeds and growing-wild fruit trees and vegetables, grass and herbs. The dark haired woman took a minute or so to breath and allow the memories that assaulted her in a bittersweet torrent to subside before she made her way into the old orchard area, singing quietly under her breath as the light of the stars and the rising moon lit her path, making her skin and clothing fairly glow. |
After cleaning up his shop Jax went upstairs to his room. He stood by the window and noticed it was getting dark. IT was the full moon. Tonight he would transform and go on a hunting spree. It was one thing he was used to and he was used to it by now. He packed some clothes tieing it to his leg. He stripped off the rest of his clothing and took off outside. He quickly made it to the woods.
He groaned in agony as the transfomation started. His hair on his head began to grow long and black. The rest of his body began to get hairy. THe front of his face began to grow a snout and his nose shifted into that of a dogs. His ears grew long and pointed. His feet and hands turned to paws and stretched out causing crippling pain. He howled as the transformation finished. He was now a black wolf. It had taken about a minute for the transformation to finish. He looked around the forest. He was hungry. He sniffed the air. Someone had walked around here not to long ago. He loped off following the scent. |
Her singing had soon turned into a full throated song-fest as Layla wandered about the old orchard, picking fruits as she went and finding or discarding herbs and such that she could use to create medicines or scents for her candles. Reminded of a song called Across the Universe of Time, she began to sing that while she walked, smiling as the wind picked up slowly, as if in time to her music. She had a knife and knew how to fight and run from animals depending on what they were, either bear or cougar or wolf, and she wasn't afraid of the night though she knew to be careful, which was one reason why she sang, so she wouldn't startle an animal into attack. As she stepped out of the orchards and into the flowering herbal patch, Layla looked up as her movements caused a cloud of fireflies to flutter up off their flowers. Setting the basket, and her knife foolishly enough, down she laughed and tried to catch the little glowing bugs, her singing gentle on the breeze. The far off howl of a wolf, alone it sounded, didn't bother her really, it was a night time voice, similar to an owls, there at night and haunting yes, yet expected and not entirely unwelcomed.
|
He followed the scent until he saw a young girl. He loped up to her and stared at her standing about ten foot away from her and just watching her with his dark eyes. He howled loudly at her trying to figure out what to do. He was hungry but wasent sure if she was actually food.
(sorry for the short post not really much else to write ><) |
((Geh! ))
The howl startled the heck out of her and Layla staggered away from the noise and its source instinctively before she even realized what was going on. Plopping down on her butt in the herbs and weeds she blinked wide eyed at the enormous grey-black wolf a few feet away and went absolutely still, her gaze darting to her basket and the hiding place for her knife, which she mentally kicked herself for leaving so stupidly at such a distance. Wolves always ran in packs in these mountains, always. Normally any loner was killed off or simply wandered away from the rather big pack that called these mountains their territory. Layla swallowed, her mouth suddenly dry as fear spiked through her when she figured the wolf was looking at her. "....Erm..hello there big guy..."Speaking quietly, slowly, she got to her feet. The wind no longer seemed friendly anymore and she shivered slightly. "Uhm...please don't eat me..I really wouldn't taste very good and see? I'm not gonna hurt you so can you uh...please,please go away...?" As she spoke, slowly and with seemingly no haste she edged gently towards her basket. That wolf was one of the biggest she'd ever seen, and though he looked more curious, she knew that looks with animals could be deceiving. |
(One downfall with werewolf characters >< When there a wolf what are you supposed to say )
He studied her closely his eyes totally scanning her. As an animal he had an instinct when it came to other animals. She did not seem to be dangerous nor did she seem to be prey. She seemed to be more afraid of him. He knew she was a female from her scent. He could also tell she was not in heat and therefore not an interest in that way. He howled again and approached her walking very slowely and catiously. She seemed to be alone but you never know when they could be hiding something from him. He got within two feet of her and paused again. He sniffed the ground where she had originaly was sitting. She seemed to be safe in a way but something about that scent seemed familiar. |
((You could add in thoughts and emotions, stuff like that, explain what he smells or something? Heheheh.....did I mention that Layla's a bit of a coward when it comes to big predators? Mostly 'cause she's never encountered one so closely before....but yeah. Heheh...))
Layla scooted sideways a bit further, then froze again when the wolf moved, moving, incongruously closer to her. Mad thoughts ran around in her head as she observed the animal closely. So far her fight or flight instinct was on a slightly lower key than it had been when the durned thing had first made itself almost absurdly well known. Licking her lips nervously as she reached her basket, the herbalist very slowly bent at the waist, prepared to spring to the side if the giant wolf lunged or made a menacing movement towards her. It was REALLY close now. Not fun for a woman alone in the forest, which, now that she thought of it, was a BEYOND STUPID MOVE! ' Never again, never again am I gonna go out here IN. THE. DARK. Without a knife or...or archery set or something STRAPPED TO ME! How could I be so lame-brained stupid as to leave it lying in my baskeeeetttt?!' Her inner voice wailed, throwing a fit in her brain as she slowly grasped the handle of her basket and paused, keeping eye contact with the animal in front of her. Bent over like she was, it was looking down a bit at her. Now, she wasn't excessively tall for her height, she stood at maaaybe five foot two, so she wasn't short either, but bent over, the thing kinda towered a little, even at the distance it was at. And judging the muscles in its chest and sides, what she could see of them, Layla figured she'd never get more than a few paces running scared before it would bring her down....and probably chomp her head off or something. "Please don't eat me....please don't eat me...good boy, please don't eat me...." Okay. So she was almost begging now. At least she wasn't a stone-frozen scared bunny rabbit! Though...she was kinda stuck in the crouched over position, her hands on her basket and her face looking up a little at the wolf not two blasted feet from her very easily crunched, munched and eaten hide. "I don't wanna die here of all places big fella so please go and find a nice deer or something....I won't fill you up, you're enormous, I'd be a snack, if that, a tidbit...something like a crumb or a speck compared to a deer.....oh Gods above stop looking at me like that please..." |
(ur character makes me laugh >< Sad thing is if I was in the same situation I would probably be the same. It kinda hard to figure out how a wolf feels. Im not exactly experienced with my werewolf characters. I usually stick to my fallen angel lol but this is good practice)
He still stared at her. Not in a menacing way but still curious. His tail swung back and forth gently not wagging but more in a relaxed manner. His ears were straight up. She smelled so familiar and it was bothering him that he couldnt place her. As a wolf he had no memorys of his human existance. All he had was vague memorys. He had no idea that he lived in the same town as this lady and they were in fact neighbors. All he had was the faint idea that he knew her somewere and this is what was keeping him from attacking her and trying to figure out who she was. He walked a step closer to her and put his head down but still slightly higher than hers. It was a sign of dominace showing her that he was indeed the alpha here. He put his eyes close to hers and looked deep into her eyes. If she indeed stared back he would see it as a challenge and attack. However if she lowered her eyes he would see it as submission and have no reason to harm her. |
((Heheheh, I love my character! As for wolf's thoughts.....hm...I know sort of what wolves are about; family, mating, hunting, the packs welfare.....not so much what a WEREWOLF thinks though....they'd be more aggressive I'd think...? ))
When the wolf stepped forwards again, Layla swallowed past the rising lump of hysteria threatening to form and glanced away quickly at her basket. then she looked back at the wolf and very gently backed up a step, enough to match the animals pace forward. Fear had a stranglehold on her throat and all that escaped was a squeak of protest as she looked around for a quick escape, hoping to find a tree or something to climb up out of his..he was definitely a mal considering the dominance he was trying to prove over her, reach. Blinking once or twice as that thought penetrated, Layla looked back at the wolf, meeting his eyes for a moment or two before looking him over again a bit more slowly. It was a male wolf, heavy in the chest with muscle like most of the mountain-running wolves were, with thick fur and big ears, long tail and sharp-clawed paws. Typical wolf....just...bigger. Much bigger. ".....Easy there fella....you're too close for comfort here...." Speaking again slowly, quietly, she took a few breaths in and let them go to try and get ahold of her fear. A slightly depressed voice in her head spoke up annoyingly. 'Well, let's put it this way, if ya die here ya won't get a disease in old age! Just pray he goes for your throat or head and not your soft and squishy belly!' Needless to say, she told THAT voice where to go burn. While she thought that, she straightened slowly until she was taller than the wolf, though she very carefully didn't meet his eyes again, keeping her gaze on the muscles of his chest, since that's what would move first if he decided to lunge. |
He watched her stand up and growled at her baring his fangs at her. He was not happy with her standing taller than she was. It bothered him when creatures bigger than him where to close. On the ground she looked small he was kinda puzzled as to how she could suddenly look so tall. He barked meanacingly at her. He wanted her to get back down. He was not happy with how tall she was appearing.
He studied her a moment. She was still not something he was interested in eating but he was still hungry. He needed to eat soon. There was only a few more hours of night left and if he didn't get something to eat he would starve. (These posts looking better?) |
((Muuuch better, if a little short still...but meh. Good good! ))
Layla froze, yet again, when the wolf barked at her angrily, going from curious to angry in a heartbeat. Well. That was about all she could handle really, between the sudden howling of his announcement of his arrival, his bloody well stalking her and his howls, growls and all other noises in between NOT to mention her current, suddenly escalated level of pure terror at the sight of those rather impressive fangs that he sported when he growled, then barked so evilly at her......What other way to put it, but that Layla went a tiiiny bit crazy! "Well, if you'd tell me what you WANT then I COULD GET IT AND YOU COULD GO AWAY!! PLEASE! You're scaring the CRAP out of me!" Yup. She wasn't speaking quietly, in a soft tone anymore. Her fear went past the breaking point, darted THROUGH hysteria and went right to anger. So she yelled. Well, bellowed more like it. Who'd'a thought that such a quiet, soft spoken woman could have a pair of lungs on her that could cause an avalanche a few miles away in the mountains? 'Cause that's what the volume of her words caused. While she yelled that she FINALLY found the knife she was digging around in the basket for slowly but surely and pulled it out as she hollered her head off. "IF YA WANNA EAT ME THEN GO AHEAD BUT STOP FREAKING ME OUT ALready...Pleeease!" About mid sentence Layla's voice cracked, she lost all feeling in her legs and sank down into the weeds, grass and herbs, her grip on her knife strong though she'd just scared herself silly yet AGAIN and expected the wild. Animal. to attack and bite her face off at any moment. Closing her eyes as she finished her sentence in more of a plea than a demand, the herbalist did something she hadn't done in a while. She started to cry. ((..Oops....>.<; Went a bit too far with her there....>.<; Crud I didn't want her cryin' yet, but it's either that or make her run....and it's a guarantee that he'd probably chase her ^-^...wait, that might have been better >.<; )) |
(lol I hate putting pointless stuff in my posts that don't have anything to do with whats going on with the characters lol so sometimes my post seem a little short but I do avoid one or two liners. I try to keep a minimum of five lines in every post.)
At the sudden change of character for this girl he lowered his lips and his ears. This was very strange. This girl first of all acted like she was ready to kill him and he was just preparing to attack her to defend himself. When she began to release the hormones of sorrow he started to feel sorry for her himself. He looked at her closely moving towards her and putting his nose on her cheek. The emotions she was emitting reminded him of a cub. He suddenly felt an urge to comfort her and make her feel better. He whined slowly at her and wagged his tail a little. He closed his eyes and kept his head close to hers with his cold nose on her cheek. |
((Hm, well I find that addng details and stuff makes everything a bit more real. Oh's wells though, you write well! ))
The nose on her face made her flinch back since her eyes were closed, Layla hiccupped, sort of choking on a sob. When nothing else happened, and the wolf made a weird whining noise and didn't try to take her head off, she opened one eye and blinked a few tears away, letting them slide down her face unchecked. Seeing the wolfs face so close to hers had her eyes almost crossing from the nearness and she swallowed a panicky moment yet again in favour of taking a shakily deep breath. She was never more glad of being able to breath air than she was at that moment. She had a wild. animal. nosing. her. face! First he'd been all snarling and stare-y and then menacing I'ma-bite-your-face-off-y, and now he was being almost....doggy-ish? "...Eheh...weird wolf...." Reaching up slowly, Layla's heart thudded in her ears as she VERRRRY gingerly reached out and touched the wolfs side. Not his throat or his face, just his side very lightly. A bit fatalistically, yes, considering the nose he had pressed gently to her cheek was attached to furry lips that when pulled back showed VERY useful-for-hunting-and-munching teeth of appreciable size and length. Swallowing again to try and not laugh hysterically when the story of red riding hood popped into her head, Layla spoke quietly again after another hiccupp "..Heheh.....what...b-big teeth you have...Heheheh....." She was still a bit angry, more than a little hysterical, and throw in a cup-ful of uncertainty, a quart of fear, a pinch of exasperation and a dash of absolute full-blown panic and you had a mass of quivering human woman who didn't know up from down at the moment. Not fun. ((I gotta go now....my bed is calling meh...o.0...)) |
(he he thanks. Your great to. I like to space my posts though. It makes it easier to read. It probably has to do with the fact I have issues focusing my eyes.)
He whined at her and sat down. He was very curious. This creature in front of him was very unusual. She was a female and from the scent he would guess human. She first acted scared of him and then the fear spread to dominance. Now she was acting like a cub. Like she was going to die from his appearance. He laid his head on her shoulder and inhaled her scent. She was very interesting. Something made him where he didn't want to harm her. He sat there for a few moments. His stomach hurt and made a noise. He stood up and glanced at her wagging his tail. He whined again and headbutted her. He then turned and walked away slowly. It was time to hunt. |
((I'll space mine out a bit too then so ya don't hurt your eyes.))
When the wolf gave her the attention so oddly, and in such a...domestic sort of way, Layla finally managed to get her crying, ineligant as it was, under control and after sniffling a few times she wiped her face to clear it of tears before she touched the wolf again lightly. His fur was corse on top, as mountain wolves' fur generally was of course since the temperatures were always rather skewed, but his underfur was soft and almost fluffy when her fingers encountered it on his shoulder, a safe enough place she figured she could touch since he hadn't reacted badly to her touching him. '...He reminds me....he reminds me of a half-wild dog....this is beyond strange....is he someones pet? No...I'd know if there was an animal THIS big in any of the towns near here, and he doesn't look starved, in fact I'd say he's well fed. Not fat though. That's not fat, it's all muscle. Stranger and stranger...' When she had touched him, she made a small petting motion to smooth out his coat before she removed her hand. That's when the grumbling of his stomach caught her attention and she blinked when he got up and began to wander away. ".....Ohhh....you're hungry? I ummm....here, boy....do you want some food?" She didn't have much in her basket besides her gardening tools, the knife that was still in her hand, and ome of the herbs and fruit she'd already picked, but Layla always kept a steady supply of beef jerky in a ziplock bag at the bottom of everything and when it dawned on her that the wolf had probably been hunting and had come across her accidentally, even with her singing(which made her wonder if he was deaf or something), she pulled out the baggy, holding up about five hundred grams of the jerky and opening the bag. Holding the bag, unrolled to show the biggest piece of meat inside it, out by her fingertips in case he got a bit too enthusiastic, she smiled slightly, showing no teeth in case he took that as a sign of menace, and spoke again. "Here boy....you can have this, I've already had some fruit and nuts....heheh, I guess I have to be nuts to be speaking to a wolf, no matter how odd he behaves...I dn't even know what I want anymore, for you to go away or stay so I could look at you more....you're the biggest animal I've ever seen here." Her, such as it had been a few minutes ago, was disappearing slowly, replacing itself with wonder mixed with uncertainty. She was still scared of course, but the hysterical fear was gone now thankfully, she had no idea how to handle herself when she was like that except to cry. |
(he he thanks. Sorry Ive got eye problems lol. Black and white tend to run together. Its fine if its colored but just black and white bother me. btw welcome back and good morning ^.^ )
He pricked up his ears as he heard her talking. He wondered what she was saying but it didn't sound bad. He looked at her a moment as she fiddled around in her basket. When she pulled out the meat he immedatly smelt it. He laid his ears back on his neck and walked slowly up to her. He kept his lips down as he approached watching her closely with his dark eyes. He looked at her as she grabbed a piece and held it out to him on the tip of her hand. He put his nose up to her hand and sniffed it. It smelled like food. It looked like food. He put his tongue out and licked it. And it definitly tasted like food. He opened his mouth and took the food gently from her hand. He walked a few feet away and laid down to eat it. He ate it quickly and then tilted his head and looked at her. He whined for more. |
((Kyaaaaahh I can TOTALLY picture him doing that too!!! Cuuuuutttteee!!! .....Yeah....I haven't had my coffee yet this morning...and good mornin'! Eye problems are NEVAR fun too.....))
When he took the food from her, the relief that shot through her system had Layla smiling widely, though she didn't show her teeth. She'd probably look ridiculous if a person had seen her, but she didn't really care. 'I mean, how many people can say they avoided a wild wolf attack by screaming at it and then giving it jerky AFTER having a hysterical breakdown?!' Watching him eat the food and look at her for more, the herbalist nodded and smiled, pulling the rest of it out of the bag and setting it down on the ground a bit away from her. Since she'd gotten feeling ack in her legs a minute or two ago, she shuffled slowly to her feet and bent over to brush the dirt from her skirt after backing up a few paces. Keeping her eyes on him in case he didn't like her moving, Layla backed up still farther and spoke calmingly. "Go ahead buddy...go ahead and eat it, then go and hunt since I'm afraid it's not much. I don't want you to starve either, you're too beautiful. Hahaha, you really are a weird animal...I need to go now, before the townsfolk come after me, it's almost dawn." Looking up at the sky where the moon was beginning to set slowly, she frowned. They'd just spent close to four hours together. It felt like alot longer. |
(^.^ I know right. I love playing wolves because they can do cute things. And now for the naked man to appear he he)
He watched her lay down more meat and ran to it wagging his tail. He ate it quickly. He looked at her with his head low to the ground. She stood up and he stayed there watching her although he lifted his head up now. She was big again. THis time he did not feel threatened though. She had fed him and he had enjoyed it. He walked up to her and looked at her a moment. He jumped up on her putting a paw on each shoulder and stared deep into her eyes. His dark eyes like pools of tar. He stared at her reading her thoughts and emotions. SHe was such a strange creature to him. His hunger was sated for now and he could study her more closely now. He smelled the air around her. SHe smelt so nice. He could sence no more fear from her nor any hostility. He found her so facinating. He hopped down off of her and sat down in front of her. He sniffed the ground by her feet and then looked up at her tilting his head slightly. |
((Heheh...I have to go for now, the one day of the week that I have school...-shudders-... Ahahaha he sounds so exasperated! 'She was big again.' Bahahaha! ))
When the wolf, she was beginning to try and think of a name for him, finished off the food, his tail wagging in a universal signal of nice-ness, Layla breathed a sigh of relief. Then she almost fell over when the enormous animal approached, reared up on his hind legs and put his paws on her shoulders. 'Good GODS he's HUGE! And heeeeaaaavvvyyy!' Was, of course, the first thought in her head. Offering a puzzled smile, she met his gaze with her own, having taken a half step back to brace herself. He was big. And heavy for a fully grown male wolf, and she was beginning to get a muscle spasm in her shoulders when he backed down and sat down, sniffing around her bare feet. The noise his nose made made her laugh and she reached down slowly, a bit hesitantly for a moment before she put her hand on his head between his ears and scratched that spot where most of the towns dogs loved to be scratched. His fur had a clean scent to it she'd noticed, though her own nose was, of course human and not the more powerful one of a wolf or dog, but it was as if he had bathed or had a shower. Oddly enough, she found that just to be one more bizarre circumstance of the evening. "Okay boy, I really need to get going you know, you need to get back to your pack or your family too before they miss you. Especially if you have pup's to look after, cheating on your mate is a very bad idea you know." She said that jokingly with a smile and crouched down a bit in front of him. Looking at his eyes again she got a faintly amused, faintly serious expression on her face. "....You.....are the oddest creature...I have yet to meet in these mountains.....I wish I could take you home with me....but you'd probably hate that more than anything. You be good and go find food for your mate now." Giving him a small kiss on his nose, quickly and very lightly, Layla straightened up again and began to gather her things. Apparently when she'd dropped her basket to catch fireflies some of her tools had fallen out and scattered. |
(lol good going I had to go to. My adopted sons moving in with me and I had to get a little sleep before he did. Yay hell be here in like two hours. Im so excited. The poor wolf. Hes getting frustrated because he dont know what she is.)
He wagged as she petted his head. He pushed it up into her hands and stuck his tongue out. It felt so good. He wondered how this creature knew how to pet him and make it feel so incredibly good. THis was odd but it was wonderful. He couldn't be happier. He glanced at her a moment and noticed her going to pick up her stuff. He ran over to a small bag of nuts and picked it up in his mouth and placed it close to the basket. Hi woofed at her and ran around gathering more things and placing it close to her basket. He wagged his tail happily. Suddenly pain shot through his body. He rolled on the ground in agony. This hurt so bad. He whined loudly crying out as he felt pure agony shoot through his body. His paws turned into a human hand and feet. His fur shortened until it was nothing but bare skin except for on his head, arms, legs and another area. His snout turned into a regular human nose and his hair turned white. He lay on the ground unconcious for a little while as the sun rose over the heels and the rays shone upon his body. |
((Yay~! Good luck to you! ))
Layla laughed in pure delight when the wolf began to help her pick up her things. It was really odd how the animal seemed almost...dare she think it...human! Yes, he seemed somehow, someway, humanoid though of course he was in no way one. "If only there were more human men who were more like you!" When he dropped the last thing at the basket, she patted his head and turned around to toss the small bundle of Heartsheal into the basket when the animal whined. Turning around...Layla watched with a mind that seemed a bit fractured as the animal she'd come to both fear and like, rolled onto the ground and began to...to mutate somehow. Or rather....change. Yup, he changed.....into a very familiar...very NAKED....male....human. The change in him took maybe a minute and a half or so, and was obviously painful judging by the whines and the unconsciousness that resulted, but in the end, Layla found herself saring at the prone, still body of her towns Butcher, Jax Darius. 'When I spoke that out loud I didn't MEAN IT! And this guy...he's not nice to others most times.....and I know his temper is brutal, so what the hell is he doing in the body of a wolf?! Better yet, WHY am I taking this so calmly?!?!?!' Once again the strength went out of her legs and Layla just sort of sank to the ground a foot or so away from Jax. Rubbing her eyes after a moment she looked at him again, focusing solely on his face and...not further down than his chest. Finding herself admiring his muscle definition with a purely female regard, she flushed pink in the cheeks even though he wasn't awake to see that. Then she removed her coat since the morning sun was quickly growing warmer, and covered his..erm..lower area before getting to her feet and backing up slowly. She did NOT want to be around when he woke up, especially if Jax woke up in a bad temper. Snatching up her basket she took off running, her bare feet silent even in the grass and weeds of the cleared area of land that used to be, and technically still was since she hadn't sold it, hers. She made it to the forest and ran onwards, years of running barefoot through the forest giving her endurance that would have left an olympic runner breathless ages ago spurring her on.....though her mind went back to Jax....and the strange thing she'd just seen. ((Heheheh...let's see how he reacts to this~~~! Wakey-wakey eggs'n bacey! )) |
