from what I have experience there is a fine line between beating and scolding. Whipping a kid for spilling makeup is stupid, but swatting their bum when they're about to run out into traffic like one lady did (and got into trouble for it) should be fine, but nothing that leaves welts like my mum's bf did

i remember getting hit for cutting off all my hair. haha. and getting backhanded for taking out my dad's car. those are the only two i remember.

I ran away from home taking the railroad tracks when I was about 8 or 9 and not only were the trains an issue but the mountain lions were too lol so I got really tanned for that one.

My dad refused to spank me with a belt because the one time he did he accidentally got me with the buckle and so he just used his hand ater that.

I don't agree with her getting in trouble for it, though. It's her kid and she'll discipline how she wants to. It's just not something I believe in, or would do because of my past experiences. I'm not going to do it, neither is Zombie. No one will be able to change my mind on the matter, either.
