"Not that I know of," Louis answered back to her, "It's a nice last name."

Is Louis playing dumb to her? Maybe, but he still doesn't know why that last name was so important. The only information he knew was that it could be a high class fairy name. Maybe he should look into that name later on.

"Hey," Louis said, changing the subject, "Are ya hungry? There's a really nice apple tree not too far from here. Come on!"

Louis once again grabbed Aaralyn's hand without thinking and began to guide her up passed the debris that was on the ceiling and back into the forest. As the two exit, there immediately was a couple of apple trees with different colored looking skins on them.

"Awesome!" Louis yelled out while letting Aaralyn's hand go, "The red delicious are ready!"

He then flew towards one of the apple tree that was growing his favorite type of apple, Red Delicious. There were other types around as well; Macintosh, Sundown, Cox's Orange Pippin...The variety was endless!

"Come on, Aaralyn," Louis called to her while taking a bite out of a Red Delicious, "vay faste grbet! (they taste great!)"

EmbracedInChains 03-15-2010 09:13 AM

Aaralyn couldn't help but let out a small fit of nervous laughter as she tucked her hair behind her ear. She felt very lucky that Louis seemed oblivous to her last name. She was surprised when he took her hand and led her up and out of the cave, but then laughed at his excitement for an apple. She rolled her eyes at him. "Oh, come now! Mind your manors." She said jokingly, waggling her index finger at him. Aaralyn reached up and grabbed one of the same apples as Louis had grabbed, and took a bite. It was juicy and sweet, and she just had to smile. However, her smile was taken away rather quickly when Mora, her white wolf companion, came charging out of the trees. Mora was the only one that knew who Aaralyn really was, but was on the princess' side. "Princess! They're hot on your trail! They've found you out! You must hide somewhere! Quickly! They're heading this way!" Said Mora, skidding to a halt right in front of Aaralyn, not even bothering to notice Louis. Aaralyn's eyes widened. She knew exactly what "them" meant. The warriors of the court had finally tracked her down and were coming to retrieve her at all costs. She also realized that Mora had given away her secret to Louis, but that wasn't exactly her top priority at the moment. She flew quickly to Louis and held onto his wrists, her eyes pleading. "Please, Louis! There's no time to explain! Please, we have to hide! Now!" That said, Aaralyn flew quickly to the waterfall, with Louis in tow, and Mora following on the ground. She did the same method parting the waterfall, keeping both Louis and Mora from getting wet. Aaralyn held onto Louis' arm and pressed them both back against one of the walls of the cave, while Mora stood more towards the entrence, guarding it. Aaralyn put her free hand over Louis' mouth to keep him quiet as a small group of warriors with the same physical appearance as Aaralyn appeared, looking around at the lake. Only these fairy men had four wings, not six. They looked around for about ten minutes, and then moved on. Once Aaralyn felt safe about a minute after they left, she let go of Louis and let out a relieved breath. "Thank goodness... I thought they were going to find me this time."

She smiled all the time, but her smile became more sad as she remembered her past, her home, her family...Best not to involve others. One clan of water fairies is enough. I should really pay them a visit soon... She closed her eyes, hoping her smile was a happy one.

She looked around at the others and started to think of what it was like where her home was. It was gloomy and full of fighting. There didnt seem to be any life there because it was so depressing. Being in a place where everything was full of life and not as crowded was soo much better in her eyes.

There was something off about Fallish's smile. Xanadias was not experienced with reading other people's expressions, however, and therefore merely took it as the fairy being preoccupied and thus wasn't focusing on her expressions. He was surprised with the other Dark fairy's answer.

"Really? I find it quite...suffocating here. There is too much life, too many different elements...it makes me feel uncomfortable. I'd much rather be around elements that I'm more familiar with." Markuto was less affected than he was, though he could tell that the creature disliked being in the forest for long periods of time. After all, 'life' and 'undead' were quite opposites.

Serena giggled lightly at the conversation before flying up to design her home to be more unique. She looked up not a cloud in the sky... this is going to be difficult, she thought and tried to find the natural waters in the air. She flew up to her doorway and used the already frozen tree and the natural waters in the air to create a ring of ice roses. She smiled at her handywork and put the finishing touches on them to make them stay longer. That was when she noticed a fairy standing on one of the branches. She smiled and waved.

Daeman35 03-15-2010 04:43 PM

Cora looked at the guy. "Yeah its not as gloomy as my home was but its more dangerous... Everything having the feeling of life only gives you the feeling that they will die at some point in their life." She smiled at him. He was the type of fairy that was in her homeland. People who loved dead more than what they could kill off. This guy was interesting though. IF he liked the places that were dead more than the living why was he here?

Louis didn't really hear out what was going on at first since he was distracted with eating the Red Delicious. He was unaware of the wolf named Mora and how it called Aaralyn a 'princess', so her identity is still sort of safe. Once Aaralyn told Louis that they had to hide and grabbed his wrist was when he finally came back to reality.

"Hm? Wha? WHOA!" Louis yelled as he was being pulled by her. As they were going down the waterfall path again, Louis then finally noticed the wolf. "WHOA! Aaralyn, look! It's a wolf-" Before he could finish his sentence he realized again that they were about to go through the waterfall again. "OH SNAP!" He yelped and closed his eyes again, missing Aaralyn parting the water to avoid getting them and the wolf wet.

Once they got back into the cave entrance, Louis was just about to speak out again to Aaralyn to know what was going on but was interrupted with her hand covering his mouth. Instead the sound of Louis's voice being muffled was heard instead. But then he grew quiet as he barely saw through the cave's entrance a couple of blue skinned fairies that looked similar to Aaralyn.

Her clan? If so, why is she hiding from them...Thought Louis to himself.

Finally after a few minutes passed, Aaralyn finally let go of his mouth and sighed in relief. "What's going on, Aaralyn?" Louis said in a quiet tone just in case those fairies were out there, "Who were they? And..." Louis finally turned to the other side to see the wolf that was following them, "Why is there a wolf in here??" So many question, so little time...

Mora looked at Louis, her golden eyes narrowing as she lowered her head and bared her fangs, growling at him. "Who is this guy, Princess? Want me to crunch his face off?" Aaralyn rolled her eyes and stepped between Mora and Louis. "Mora, quit picking on him. And don't worry, Louis. She's a friend. Dispite her silly threats, she won't do anything to harm you." She gave Mora a meaningful look, which caused the white wolf to stop growling, and sit down, directing her golden gaze to the mouth of the cave. "As for who they were, they were warriors from my clan, and they were trying to find me." She said, smiling sweetly, innocently.

kaine_144 03-16-2010 01:11 AM

"Eh heh heh," Louis laughed off of the rude manner coming from the wolf, "Well, if she's your friend then I'm cool with that, I guess..." It was Louis's first time meeting an animal that can speak their language. Most fairies should have the ability to communicate with animals but for the Louis he wasn't too strong with knowledge spells like that.

"Your clan?" Louis then spoke out to her, "Then why are you hiding? Are they looking for you? Wouldn't it be easier if you met up with them?" If they were her clan then this shouldn't be a problem at all. Unless Aaralyn is keeping something else about herself from him. Louis is now convinced that Indecarta was apart of a high-class fairy, but what did this have to do with Aaralyn?

VixonDale 03-16-2010 01:42 AM

Fallish stared at the new fairy near Serena's home. "Hello up there!" The yelled happily to him. If it weren't for the ice, she would have gotten closer to him, just to get a batter look. He seemed to have more fire to him, though not much more that Serena did. Similar types, I guess...reminds me almost of the water clan I stayed with... She smiled at everyone, then noticed the sounds of multiple fairies. She more felt them then heard them. I know the sound of gaurds when I hear them... She looked around her quickly, trying to determine how far they were. They could be a mile away even...Why can't my powers be more specific in this aspect...

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 03:41 AM

Aaralyn chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Obviously, I'm hiding because I don't WANT them to find me. I don't want to go back. I like it better here." She said, stepping really close to Louis and raising an eyebrow at him. "Tell me, why do you think I don't want to go back with my clan?"

kaine_144 03-16-2010 04:24 AM

"I, err, umm," He began to mutter out as she got closer to him. "The only reason that I can think of is because either you committed a crime in your clan or you-"

Then it finally hit the knuckle head, "...You ran away from your clan."

He thought about it though for a second; technically you can leave your clan if your clan's rules apply that you can leave. Then again Aaralyn could have left her clan and not return for a while so that the clan would come look for her. But if Louis were to leave his clan no one would send warriors to go find him. So what can be the only solution?

"Aaralyn Indecarta," Louis said looking at her with a serious face, "you're part of a royal family in your clan aren't you? And...you're running away from your clan..."

Good job Louis; took you long enough.

"But...why" Louis asked, "Why would you want to leave your clan? And your family?"

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 04:32 AM

Aaralyn smiled softly and took a step back. "Yep. That's me. Princess Aaralyn Indecarta of the western sea." She sighed and rolled her eyes, not entirely fond of the title given to her at birth. "I had to get away. I was just getting so fed up with being royalty, but always being told to do this, or do that. I wanted so desperately to be free..." She nodded her head to the mouth of the cave. Did you see the male fairy in the middle, the one who was pretty much covered in muscle?"

kaine_144 03-16-2010 05:16 AM

"I see..." Louis nodded his head to her softly. He can understand why if someone was forced to live in one area forever without having any freedom or choice to do whatever you wanted to do, you would want to escape too. Louis can't compare himself to Aaralyn since his entire life was filled with freedom. He felt bad about how Aaralyn was practically locked in by her family, but would she despise them so much to not see them ever again?

"No," Louis then answered back to her question, "I couldn't really see from where I was. Who was he?"

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 05:33 AM

Aaralyn sighed and rolled her eyes, sitting down next to Mora, who layed down and layed her head on the blue fairy's lap. Aaralyn petted Mora's head as she spoke. "Well, that jug-head of a fairy was my fiancee. His name is Warren. Our parents betrothed us together before I was even born. I didn't get a choice in the matter at all! Warren didn't either, but he doesn't care. I'm the only child of the king and qeen of the western sea. That would mean that whoever married me when I take the throne would become the new king. That's all Warren wants. He could care less about me as a person. I'm just his ticken to becoming a king. I don't even like him! He's such an arrogent jerk!" Aaralyn glared down at the cave floor, irritated by the memory of him and of her parents.

kaine_144 03-16-2010 05:53 AM

Louis scratched the back of his head. It is unfair for having those arranged marriage. For her to even have her fate decided before she was born as well; that is unfair for poor Aaralyn.

"Hmm..." Louis thought for a moment, "Well... I wish I can help you...I wonder if my clan would accept you into our clan."

Thinking that for a moment though, Louis's clan welcomes any fairy to join them but if they found out that she was a princess from the Western Sea, they might have conflict against her clan for taking her in, possibly turning it into a war. He didn't want to bring such an event to his people, but he didn't want Aaralyn to suffer anymore.

"HEY!" Came a voice from outside of the waterfall, "I heard something behind here!"

"Oh snap," Louis muttered and grabbed Aaralyn's hand, "Come on, let's go back to Rai's statue. We'll be safe there." The three then quickly flew into the cave, this time in darkness. Luckily Louis memorized the path to the statue so he was able to navigate freely. Mora the wolf should have low-light vision to see where Louis was going. Hopefully they'll make it in time to the statue before the Western Sea guards found them...

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 06:12 AM

Aaralyn gasped as she heard the voice of her betrothed outside of the cave. She allowed Louis to take her hand and pull her along. She flew behind him, motioning for Mora to follow. The white wolf got up and nodded, running silently underneith them. However, she suddenly yelped when what looked like a whip came and wrapped itself around her legs, binding her and making her fall. Aaralyn knew it to be a whip made out of water, courtesy of the warriors. "Halt!" Aaralyn heard the familiar voice of her fiancee yet again. "No! Mora! Leave her alone!" Yelled Aaralyn, pulling her hand away from Louis and diving back down to Mora." "No, Princess! Stay away!" Snapped Mora. Aaralyn didn't listen, however, and landed next to her wolf companion. She waved her hand, and the water flew away back towards the entrence of the cave.

kaine_144 03-16-2010 06:34 AM

"Shoot," Louis said as he made his way back to Aaralyn and Mora. As soon as Aaralyn took care of Mora, two of the guards that were looking for her came flying in.

"There she is!" One yelled out, "Get her!"

Suddenly Louis flew in front of the two guards with his hands in front of their eyes and muttered a quick spell. Then a quick flash came out of his hands and blinded the two guards. The two were about to yell in pain by the sudden flash, but Louis then swiftly punched both of them at their adam's apple, ceasing them from speaking. The two guards then fell down from the attack.

"Come on, come on!" Louis yelled back to Arralyn and Mora and helped the wolf get back up. The three then once again made it back to the end of the cave in front of the statue.

"Hah, hah, There..." Louis said as he wipe the sweat off of his face, "Now... we'll be safe."

In this situation, Aaralyn would think how on earth would they be safe if they're caught in a dead end? Well, Louis had a little surprise for the guards that were coming in since now they are in HIS territory...

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 06:54 AM

Aaralyn closed her eyes, thinking that she would be getting caught, but then Louis came to her rescue. However, instead of making her feel safer, it just make her more worried. Mora ran after them as they got back to the god's statue, and stood in front of them protectively, baring her fangs and allowing a snarl to rip from her throat as well as a continuous growl. "What is Poseidon's name are you doing?!" She snapped, looking and sounding rather panicked. "You can't fight them! If they catch you, you'll be killed! Please! Stop! Let's just run!" She begged, looking over her shoulder nervously. "They're the personal guards of the king and queen of the western sea! If you attack them, that's considered treason! We have to go, or at least you have to go! Now!"

kaine_144 03-16-2010 07:35 AM

"Tch, can't fight eh?" Louis thought again about his actions. He did just knock out the two guards before him and if attacking the rest of the guards would consider a treason then he can't let his clan be mixed up with it. He already dug a grave for himself attacking the Wester Sea clan. So, another plan must be made.

"Not to worry, Aaralyn," Louis turned to her with a smile, "For we are being watched by Rai himself; he shall protect us."

Louis the bought Aaralyn over to the statue again with Mora following them. He then pulled her down with him to the ground in a crouching position, as if he was praying for Rai again. He then muttered out his different language again to the statue.

'Mighty Rai of the Sun, please assist us and take us back to Luminaria and the pursuers away from your holiness'

Suddenly as the guards began to come into the room, the statue of Rai's eyes began to glow. Then a beam of light shot at everyone, blinding everyone's sights. The guards and Aaralyn's former fiancee's bodies began to shine as they yelled ans scream what was going on. Then their bodies vanished into thin air, causing them to go back to where they started at befroe coming to Rai's Waterfall. As they came to, their memories of where the waterfall was located disappeared along with them.

As for Louis, Aaralyn and Mora, their bodies began to shine and vanish at once. But instead of appearing with the guards, Louis transferred the two with him back to his clan's town, Luminaria. As they appeared, they landed roughly onto the ground entrance of the town. Two light fairy guards immediately located them as they came in.

"What happened here?" One of the guard yelled at Louis, "you have used Rai's power to come back here. Is it an emergency?"

As the group came to, Louis answered back to the guards, "Haha, well, sort of. Can you help us out? We had a rough trip back here..."

"What's so bad about that? Life always end in death. And from death comes new life." He shrugged. He had never had any attachments to anyone in this world, so he didn't see how or why death was so bad. Except perhaps Markuto...but being an undead basically meant it would never die. Unless attacked and damaged beyond repair, which was something Xanadias wanted to prevent, and was the main reason why he would ever bother stepping foot outside his own little domain.

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 04:28 PM

Aaralyn was shocked when the guards glowed then disappeared. Then when she and Mora and Louis started to glow, she gasped and grabbed onto the scruff of Mora's neck, not sure what was going to happen. Then suddenly, in flash of light, she was thrown onto her butt in a strange place. At the gates of a town. "Ow... She grumbled, sitting up and rubbing her behind. Then she heard Mora growl and saw her standing protectively in front of her. Aaralyn looked up to see two guards, but they weren't hers. Her eyes widened in slight fear as she stood up quickly, but then they spoke to Louis, and he spoke back to them. So she settled down, took a step forward, and put her hand on Mora's head to calm her. Mora got the signal and stopped baring her fangs, and lessened her growl. However, she kept it up just a little bit, still wary of their current situation.

Daeman35 03-16-2010 05:01 PM

Cora thought about it for a moment. She had never thought that death could bring life into something. It was a strange concept for her. She always thought that death was the end of the road. End of the line. Once its dead its not coming back but he was saying something completely different. "Never thought about it that way" Her black hair flowed in the wind.

kaine_144 03-16-2010 10:00 PM

"...Alright," One of the guards said after Louis explained his situation, "you must go see the Head Master and report what you have done. Your guest are allowed to enter."

The two light guards then stepped aside and opened up the gate to the entrance of Louis's two.

"Welcome," Louis smiled to Aaralyn, "to Luminaria, Aaralyn."

The town was vast and ascended as if it was going up the stairway to heaven. The town was located very far from where the two were originally at. Luminaira was built on a mountain slope; it was sort of traditional for light fairies to have their towns made in an ascending angle to show that they wish to be closer to the sun. The sun as well is placed right above the town giving it life and brightness to all of town's citizens. Each commoners house were designed like how the humans make their home, a simple one floor house with wooden roof over it. It front though, where all of the commoners house was ascending, in the middle is the high-class cathedral where the most powerful and wisest of the fairies lived to protect their clan.

EmbracedInChains 03-16-2010 11:43 PM

Aaralyn patted Mora on the head, and Mora stopped growling as the gates opened, and the two looked up at the town in awe. It was so beautiful. It didn't look like her city back home at all. She liked this town much better. Aaralyn and Mora followed Louis, Mora stayed next to Aaralyn's legs, and Aaralyn stayed so close to Louis that their arms brushed together as they walked. "I'm sorry if my being here makes things difficult for your people. If so, it's alright if I have to leave. I don't want anything bad to happen. Especially not because of me." She said, frowning with worry at Louis.

kaine_144 03-17-2010 05:23 AM

"Nonsense," Louis said, "no one really knows what's going on yet. Besides, everyone here thinks you're a visitor here."

And it was true. As they passed by the citizens houses, some of the town folks that were outside can be hear saying how different the girl was that came into their town. Some commented around how beautiful she was and others thought that her six-wings were special. The town welcomed her very warmly.

"For now, let's stop at my place to relax a bit," Louis suggested, "then we'll go see the head master and ask him for his help."
