Nekojia, come to me! Muhaha!

Nekojia
Name: Omoi Asojo
Age: 17
Bio: Omoi is a mysterious boy, and never really got to make friends as he was growing up. Despite that, though, Omoi always wanted friends of his own. He enjoys activites such as drawing and acting. When he's home alone, he likes to play the piano. The piano is the one thing that can calm him down no matter how sad, or upset he may be. Another secret is that Omoi has never had a crush on a girl. The only people he's ever liked were boys. But even though that was true, he never got strength to ask any of his crushes out.
Description of looks:

Name: Vanyel Okami
Age: Sixteen
Ability: Shapeshifting
Info: Born in Sapporo, Japan, Vanyel lived with his mother, although her strange son was viewed more of a nuisance than anything else, and she avoided him, preferring the company of various bottles. Vanyel is chipper and openly gay, though his powers are somewhat lacking. Vanyel's father used a jaguar as his main form, and like the big cats, his father didn't stick around to teach Vanyel what he needed to know, 'Night Academy' will hopefully keep the boy from flitting when he is frightened, or excited.
Appearance: Neither of these pictures are mine, I'm simply using them to show Vanyel's basic form.
His left eye is green, while the right one is baby blue. as a human, this resembles Vanyel, with the eyes, clothes and hair being different. The hairstyle is the same, however. The hair's coloring is silvery, though the bottom layers are rust colored, much as Vanyel is as a wolf.

As a wolf, Vanyel is larger than most, coming to an average person's chest. His eyes remain the same, and his pelt is a soft silver, though where it gets ruffled, the rust undercoat provides an interesting clash.

(I'm gonna use the opening in the other one for here...I ish too sick to think of much...Besides Nyquil.)

A loud screeching sound filled the air, the large white bus coming to a stop in front of the school. They'd already been driving for a while, the students who had been picked up at the airport talking with each other loudly. There was an occasional crackling noise as someone in front shocked an unsuspecting new student. All the sound had faded, though, when the bus passed through large gates moving unto school grounds. The building before them wasn't terribly large, although it was still intimidating. Even the few students on the bus who had been here before were silent as they cluttered around the bus door.

Near the back, still staring out the window as other students clamored off the bus, was a thin male. One bright green eye and one deep yellow eye peered at the building, and pink lips parted to let out a long whine. A girl, a witch, if Vanyel had guessed correctly, called him, breaking off Vanyel's whine and making the boy stand quickly. The jeans he wore were faded from use with various rips contorting the fabric, and the black shirt proclaiming 'Dir en Grey' in dripping silver letters was in the same condition. Vanyel followed the girl quickly, trying to remember what she'd said her name was. The two moved off the bus, following the crowd into a large open area. His form shimmered, as if the edges of his body weren't quiet solid, and in a moment, a white wolf stood where the boy had been. His fur was broken in places by rust colored fur, as if the undercoat was red and if the white topcoat got ruffled, the red would peek through. The fur resembled the boy's hair, and the same intelligent eyes stared at the crowd moving around him. The wolf gave a small whine, causing the girl to glance at it and grin, "C'mon...Never seen someone do that before...Cool...Let's see...you said Okami, right? That should be at the table!" The girl waved as she left, babbling with another girl now.

The wolf moved towards a table pushed to the side and climbed on it, staring above the crowd. He may be rather large, standing to an average male's chest as a wolf, he couldn't see through the swirling mass of students. There, a line to receive schedules and dorm rooms, a large cardboard paper taped on the wall behind it, proclaiming 'N, O, P" Vanyel jumped down and began pushing his way through the crowd. Suprisingly, he got few strange looks. Vanyel enjoyed it, letting his tail give a small wag. At home he never could have done this. Once reaching the line, the wolf sat down, tilting his head as he casually sniffed the air, picking up more scents to evaluate and gazing curiously at the different people filing into line behind him.

Omoi was still waiting to be dropped off on the bus. The hoard of students stampeading and parading off the bus gave him a headache. He looked out the window, expecting to see some students gathering and chattering among themselves, but instead saw a huge crowd. A huge, cheering crowd. This made his feeling of a headache even worse. It was starting to feel like a migrane, now. He held his head as he stood up in the back of the line on the bus, praying he would get off soon enough. The cheering was blocking out his train of thoughts. He tried to move his eyes on what they were focused on, but couldn't see past the mass of students. He checked in his bag to see if he had any advil. Nothing. He moaned as the line grew forward, allowing him to see the front of the bus. For a second his headache went away, but arrived once more after another cheer emerged from the crowd. When he finally got off, he expected some kind of musical performance and arts thing to be going on, but instead he could barely see something...furry through the crowd. He pushed his way through the concert of kids. A wolf. That's what this was all about. There was a wolf, standing on a table, sniffing the air, looking as proud of himself as he possibly could. Omoi went closer to the front of the crowd. He tried to get a better look at the wolf. Now he was at the front. Slowly he moved closer to the table. Being the strangley odd teenage boy he was, he went right up to the table and bent down. "Hi there." He managed to say to the wolf. He watched the wolf's eyes flicker. He always had a thing for dogs.

(Lmao...I guess I deleted it on earlier, cause I'd already posted it...This is why being a sickie and roleplaying do not mix....)

Vanyel's green and blue eyes had spotted where he needed to go, the long line labeled 'N, O, P'. Shaking his body slightly-these students were making him want to run out the front door into the small woods located on campus- Vanyel's muscles bunched as the large white wolf got ready to leap off the table.

Before he could make a move, however, his vision was filled with a boy's face. After a slight moment of confusion where Vanyel let out a threatening growl, the wolf's tail began to wag. Moving next to the boy and pushing himself down into the crowd, Vanyel's frame shimmered, letting a boy with hair and eyes strikingly similar to the wolf stand in his place.

Gazing shyly at the other male, Vanyel nodded, "Konni-Hello..." He offered a smile on closed lips, holding his hand in a typical human fashion, "I'm Vanyel Okami...You are?"

Nekojia 03-09-2010 03:19 AM

Omoi stood there for a second, shocked. Why was this wolf suddenly a human? And he talked! Well, humans usually do talk, Omoi. He thought. "Well hi there" He said after a long awkward silence. "I'm Omoi Asojo. Nice to meet you." He said casually, shaking the wolf boy's hand. "I'm 17, how old are you?" He asked, giving a warm smile that easily melted the heart of whomever he was talking with. He twiddled with his fingers.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-09-2010 03:14 PM

"Sixteen..." Vanyel replied, amusement dancing in his eyes at the other boy's nervousness. "It'll be my first year here...I just found out about Night Academy." The Academy didn't have an exact age group, letting even the youngest creatures join as long as they had no problem learning, and quickly. The youngest they had permitted to join, though, was a ten year old, all this Vanyel could easily recall, having memorized the brochure he'd been sent.

Now addressing the nervousness, Vanyel continued speaking, "Never seen a shapeshifter before? You should get used to the idea that anything can happen here...A girl on the bus told me half the girl's dormitory was taken out a few years ago, from a witch trying out a new spell..."

Nekojia 03-09-2010 11:39 PM

Omoi smiled. Sixteen, only a year younger... "Shapeshifters...no, never seen them. Witches, I've seen, but not too many." He said, sinking in Vanyel's story. "Those damn witches, they break everything." He said, slightly chuckling. "I feel out of place. I've always been normal. Normal is boring." He looked down at his bag. Talking made his headache go away. That's never happened to him before. He looked up at the large school. It had so many windows, and such a strange feel to it. "Anyways, I'm new this year, so I'm not always prepared for the extrodinary." He stated. He could tell this boy liked the fact Omoi was nervous. He hated being nervous.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 12:00 AM

Vanyel snorted, shaking his head, "You're obviously not normal...I'd never met a witch before the bus ride, and plus, you're here, right? Do you not know your power?"

Vanyel's head tilted, rather like a confused puppy, although he continued speaking, "I've only met one shapeshifter in my time, too...That's how I learned we don't get along so well...And trust me, you find out your ma is making roast chicken, and get so excited that you turn into a huge wolf." The shifter's head shook, and the male continued, "You'd wish you were a bit more normal..." He offered Omoi a grin, clearly waiting for the response.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 02:32 AM

Omoi had a stupid expression on his face. One of confusion mixed with bits of understanding and curiosity. "Me? No. I'm...I'm as normal as could be. There's no way I could have any kind of ability. I just came on a scholarship. Paranormal things are sort of a fetish for me." He said, immediatly embaressed after his comment on paranormal activity. "Anyways, I still think normal is boring. I can understand how it feels to turn into something your not when your hungry though." He said, jokingly, with a sincere smile on his face.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 02:41 AM

Vanyel nodded, then grinned at the other boy's joke, "Wonder where I could find something to eat..." The shifter mused quietly, his eyes running over Omoi's face. "Seriously, though, that's cool...I've never heard of a human in Night Academy."

The shifter poked Omoi's chest, "That make's you special already..." As an after-thought, Vanyel smiled again, "I guess I see why a big wolf would attracted your attention." Throwing Omoi another grin, Vanyel began moving off, calling behind him, "I'mma get into line and get my schedule and room number. Why don't you do the same and meet me back here...I can point out what the different people are as we head towards the dorms." It was true, too. Vanyel's sensitive nose could easily pick up the pure smell of magick, or a beast lurking in a human form, even the strange scent of a Vampyre's blood.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 02:45 AM

He blushed a little. Nobody ever told him he was special. Omoi never had real friends of his own. Maybe this kid would be an exception. "Sounds like a plan!" She shouted back to Vanyel, trying to get behind him in line. But the line was already cluttered with many other students when he made his way to the back. Friend, he kept chiming to himself. I want a friend...

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 09:48 PM

Vanyel's edges wavered again, the male fighting to retain his form as he neared the table at the front of the line, giving his name eagerly. He was handed a packet of papers listing a small map and room number:Three hundred twelve. Unable to control the tension swirling in his body, a mixture of excitement and nerves, the human 'melted', the wolf standing there a moment later. much better. This form was the one Vanyel belonged in, after all, an old Shapeshifter legend said the humans that began transforming had only been able to transform into the animal that resembled their personality the most. That was why Vanyel's father could be a jaguar, but Vanyel was a wolf. If the legend was true, then it hadn't changed since the shifter's had been created or evolved or whatever.

Vanyel didn't feel as if he should have been a wolf, in his heart, but in his body it was nature. His mother found it easier to deal with a big dog than a son that couldn't stay human. Vanyel shook, his pelt twitching slightly before Vanyel began trotting off to the meeting place he'd arranged, his tail wagging and the papers forgotten on the floor.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 09:54 PM

Finally Omoi was first in line. He smiled sweetly at the woman giving out the scheduals and room numbers. "Omoi Asojo." He chimed, still smiling. He was trying to keep his cool. The thing he wanted more than anything was a friend. And he was about to get one. The woman searched through her pile and finally ended up with Asojo, Omoi. "Here you go." She said, handing it to him. "Thank you!" He replied kindly back, reading it in his head. Room number 312. He could remember that. He said it a couple times in his head to let it settle in, and then raced back to the meeting point, where he saw Vanyel, in wolf form, waiting.

"I got my number." He said, holding the paper in his hands. He smiled again.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 10:19 PM

Vanyel lifted on his back legs just a bit, gazing at the paper with his strange eyes. Falling back down, Vanyel's jaws parted, revealing the forty two teeth located there. Vanyel felt his large tongue lolling out as he panted laughter. Omoi may not be able to understand, but he'd the wolves actions were pretty close to a humans. He gave a tug on Omoi's shirt, yipping once before running in front of Omoi a few steps, wagging the bushy tail the wolf held proudly, as if the tail was actually a flag.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 10:23 PM

Omoi straightend out his shirt and smiled at the wolf boy. "Three hundred twelve." He said, watching Vanyel run before him. He wondered what Vanyel's room number was. Maybe they'd be close as far as rooms go! Then he could just walk down the hall and talk whenever he felt like it. That would be cool, he thought. He watched Vanyel's tail as it wagged back and forth. "Yours?"

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 10:39 PM

Vanyel glanced back at the boy, still trotting through the crowd eagerly. The only response from the wolf was a tiny woof. Vanyel was on excitement overload at the moment. With his control, he doubted he could make it even halfway to human form. He'd simply have to explain his lack of control to Omoi later.

He'd lead the way to the room easily, however, placing his paws next to the handle and glaring at it. No thumbs did have downsides.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 10:45 PM

"Oh." Omoi said when it finally hit his head that wolves can't open doors. "Sorry." He said, opening the handle and walking in. "I still havn't found out your room." He said, smiling, as he put his bag next to the tiny dresser this room had. He sat on one of the beds, waiting for Vanyel to do something.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 10:53 PM

Vanyel woofed and dramatically rolled his eyes, before he moved to the other bed, easily hefting his large form on the bed, nudging the bags that had been placed on each students bed. The tags from Vanyels plance ride were visable, labelled in Japanese and English, Okami. Giving his tag another wag, Vanyel focused, his body changing into a human. Other than the shimmering still surrounding Vanyel, and the bushy tail, he'd done pretty good this time.

He patted the bags, "Take a guess!" Cozy little place, huh?" Vanyel leaned against the wall, gazing at the two amriours and desks placed symmetrically in the room.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 10:55 PM

Omoi had a doofy smile on his face. He was totally extatic. He leaped up. "That's awesome! Cooler than awesome. Like, super special awesome." He said, seeing Vanyel still had a tail. That made him chuckle a little. "You uh, forgot something." He said, pointing to it. He collapsed on the bed. Maybe this year would be fun for once.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 11:10 PM

Vanyel tilted his head as Omoi spoke. How strange. The little human was so interesting. Part of Vanyel wanted to cuddle him and protect him, although another part wanted to eat him. Literally.

His gaze drifted to where Omoi pointed, smiling sheepishly at the other male, "This is exactly why I'm here. I don't know how to control all this, and you humans act like that, or worse, when you see something perfectly natural!" Vanyel huffed as he stood, although he was clearly teasing the other boy, "I used to it, though. I guess most shapeshifters are raised human, so it's easier to stay in that form. But, my Haha..." Vanyel paused, explaining, "Mother...Shehadn't known about my father. She was human and it seemed easier to deal with a big dog than a son who couldn't stay human." He shrugged slightly, it had been a big deal to him before, now, however, it didn't really bother him.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 11:14 PM

"Oh, right. Of course." Omoi said. He could tell Vanyel was teasing, btu something about the way he looked when he talked made everything sound a little more serious. "And, well, I cam because I'm interested in all that stuff." He said. He couldn't keep a stare off of Vanyel's tail. He wished he had a tail. He wished there was something more to him than just being Omoi Asojo. Maybe being Omoi Asojo the superhero, or something like that. But then he remembered ths wasn't a school for superheroes, and he was just being silly.

"So, uh, do students get the day off to like un-pack, and stuff like that?" He asked curiously. He didn't want to leave this cute little room.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-10-2010 11:22 PM

Vanyel nodded, thinking back to his brochure. "Yup..." His eyes floated around the cream paint, glazing over the dark borders of the room.

He turned, his tail wagging eagerly, as he began unpacking, singing softly, "I'm shaking, I'm reeling. my god I keep bleeding..." He paused in the unpacking, his hands in the middle of untangling books from clothes, "In here on a scholarship too...But I really am surprised...With the way we hide things from humans, it's strange they would let one in...Just because he was curious. Are you sure you don't have hidden witches in your family or something?" Vanyel's voice was soft, not challenging, simply curious.

Nekojia 03-10-2010 11:27 PM

Omoi's gaze went back to Vanyel. "Not that I know of." She said, "But, then again, it was my dad's idea for me to come here." He laughed. "Maybe I'm like, heir to the vampire family or something." He kneeled down on the ground and started unpacking his stuff. He chuckled a little, then said, "You know, I've never been to a sleep-away school. Only normal day schools." He said, thinking how this experience will be for him.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-11-2010 12:53 AM

Vanyel shrugged. "I've never been to school." Came the male's simple answer.

He moved next to Omoi, reaching for some items, "Want me to help ya? And you are right-this should be fun...Or at least, interesting." The shifters own packing was undone, but items didn't worry Vanyel much, and he honestly didn't care if they just got shoved under the bed.

Nekojia 03-11-2010 02:11 AM

Omoi saw that the wolf boy was next to him now. "Oh, uh, yeah sure, help would be great!" He said, still unpacking some of his stuff. "And who knows, maybe we could be able to get to know each other better, too. Depending on what classes we have and such." He said, starting to unpack his clothes. "I wonder how many guys are gonna throw me in a dumpster for being human..." He said. Omoi was the wierd kid in his old school, so he was used to that kind of thing. He sighed.

Kyuuketsuki_Kisu 03-11-2010 02:22 AM

Vanyel laughed. "With witches to vanish our garbage, why would we have garbage cans big enough to dump you in?" Actually, Vanyel had no idea if they did or didn't, but he was trying to get Omoi's spirits up. "And if anyone bothers you, point them out to me."

He stopped pulling things out of the bags for a moment, "You know...I wonder what classes you'll be put in...I know besides a general history, we have the histories of each type of us, and most of our time is spent with out own groups...So I know I'll be with other shapeshifters. Not a good combo, by the way, but I really don't know where that would leave you...Maybe with the Vampires?" Vanyel looked into the distance thoughtfully, "Most of them were humans a while back."
