Here we go again (MissJiff X OokamiD)
Mel stretched slightly with her laptop on her lap humming quietly to herself. "Man...there's nothing to do around here anymore" Her eyes glanced over at her friend and pouted. "Make our life less boring..." Mel sighed and stretched slightly before she blinked staring at her screen. "Uh...D? Does that little wish icon look familiar to you?" The brunette quickly clicked on the flashing icon watching her computer go black. " Hey! All my stuff could be gone! My pictures, my games, most importantly...MY YAOI!!!!!!....You can't do this to me!!!" She pouted and crossed her arms. Mel shook her screen a little and tapped it. "Hello? Stuff? Come back to me..." Nothing seemed to be running. "No! My yaoi! The evil yaoi haters took it from me! No! I shall get revenge on them all! Ooo...look at the light....its shhhhiiinnnyyy...." She walked closer to her computer and poked the screen. FLASH!
"Ack my eyes!" She brought her hands up to cover them from the light. "Ow..." She rubbed them and opened her eyes. She blinked and looked around. "What? Where'd my room go? Why am I outside? Why does it have to be raining and WHY am I staring at a building that looks really close to HQ in FMA” Mel drooped a little and rubbed the back of her head. Was she really seeing what she thought she was seeing. “Man...I ate too much food...I’m seeing things...” She paused for a moment and held out her hand in the rain. “It’s so real though...” She looked around and raised her eyebrow. "Uh...D?" She shook her head a little. "Please don't tell me I came alone~" She whined a little slightly frantic looking for her friend. |
She grumbled covering her eyes. "Ow.. Mel.. what did you do?" She grumbled and huffed softly looking at her friend once her eyes recovered as she listened to her quietly she looked at HQ. She had been comfy on a bed, nice and war, but now she was wet, and not in a good way. "This can't be good.." She mumbled and rubbed her forehead. "Lets get out of the rain.... shit.. we're suppose to be dead..." She whined and scrambled to her feet tugging on her friend's arm. "Come on..."

"I guess I broke time and space...again~" She grinned. "Why does it always have to be raining...?" She grumbled trying to cover her head. Her looked over at her and blinked. "Oh crap that's right..." She rubbed her forehead. "Well I guess that's our fault for leaving the way we did..." She shivered slightly rubbing her arms. "I'm wet and cold...and I'd rather be wet and warm" Once D tugged on her arm Mel nodded. "Maybe we should try and find people that won't well...arrest us?"

If she had ears they would have twitched and pinned back. "I don't know if finding people we know is the best approach right now. You know the whole 'oh hay... you broke the law... get your ass in jail.' We have no clue who we'll run into. No one can know we're here until we figure out what we're doing here." She sighed and shook her head. "Maybe we should lay low... or at least scope out for someone that won't try to kill us on sight..." She smirked and tapped her chin for a moment. "Hnn.. maybe.. but where would we find that midget?"
Ed sneezed, his 'antenna' twitched slightly. "Ugh... someone's talking crap about me.. probably Mustang..." |
"You know he hates it when people call him that" She covered her mouth a bit and giggled. "Uh..." She tapped her cheek looking down the ally and sighed a bit. "Nope...My Ed radar is gone..." She shook her head. "Damn...I guess it's been too long" Mel huffed slightly before she sneezed. "If we stay out here any longer we're going to get sick"
Alphonse sweatdropped looking over at his older and now sligthly taller brother. "I really doubt it brother...He doesn't have anytime to complain since the lieutenant found out he was slacking on his work" The dark haired Flame alchemist sneeze before he raised his eyebrow. "Dammit fullmetal I haven't even said anything and he's bitching" |
"Too much time with Sanzo on the brain.." She snickered and waved her hand. "Oooh.. he's gunna be jealous..." She wiggled her fingers. "Hnn... well technically they can't exist in the same dimension.. so it's not really cheating..." She teased, smirking softly. “Though you didn’t really hook up with him.. but I’ve heard you talk in your sleep… I really wish I didn’t…” She folded her arms behind her head and made a face, scrunching her nose a bit. “I’ll call the pipsqueak what I want. What’s he going to do? Scream at me until he’s blue in the face..? sca~ry…”
He sneezed again. "Dammit Mustang!" He slapped the book closed and looked up from the piles upon piles of books standing up, his eyebrow twitching. "Al... lets go... what we're looking for isn't here that I can see yet, and it's getting late..." he grumbled and picked up his jacket slipping it on, looking to the window. “Huh.. when did it start raining? We must have been really focused to not have seen that creeping up on us. We better hurry before it gets worse…” |
"Staring at someone else isn't cheating..." Mel's nose twitched. "Besides...it ended up more like they turned into our brother's anyway..." She coughed. "Well you didn't have to listen.." Her cheeks reddened slightly. Mel leaned against the wall and sighed staring at headquarters. "Hmm..." She tapped her chin. "Why can't people we know just walk out the front door.."
Al nodded a little to his brother before standing up as well. "I'm sure we'll find it someday brother...we've just been busy with assignments to really get around and look" He smiled. "I mean you made it through the gate...So I'm sure they did" Al looked over at the window. "Well we have been here a while and we do get carried away in books easily" |
He sighed softly and nodded. "Yeah..maybe" He murmured and smiled softly at his younger brother. Though he should have been a year younger then himself, going through the gate had given him back his old body in exchange for his memories of what had happened before he lost his body. So his brother was now about five years younger then him, but he managed to pull some strings in order to have his brother take the State Alchemist test so he could help him with the research. "Maybe.." He repeated and made his way to the door, his back turned to his brother a slight blush on his cheeks. "It's not about that at all.. It's about learning something new and expanding our knowledge..."
"Mel.. you know that only works in movies and on tv and in anime... oh.. right...." She giggled forgetting just where exactly they where. It had seemed like forever ago since they accidentally stumbled upon that weird e-mail and found themselves driving at around ninety miles an hour into a bright light that landed them in this world. |
Al smiled up at his brother since Edward was finally a little taller then himself. He was a bit sad though since Al didn't remember anything from the time they were here. Edward told him everything again but Al just felt like things were still left out. He then raised his eyebrow staring at him when he turned his back. "Brother?" Al leaned forward catching his blush. "Are you alright brother? Why are you getting red?"
"See...It might work..." Mel placed her hands on her hips and tapped her foot. "Well it better happen soon...I'm getting wetter...and I don't really do wet unless I'm showering" Her nose twitched. "I don't even know if I can use Alchemy..." Mel sighed. "Not that me using Alchemy was a good thing last time..." She laughed. |
"He might know...." He murmured softly, referring to their father. He wasn't exactly his biggest fan, all things considered. "About the other side I mean.." He muttered as he walked down the hall and opened the main doors. "Ugh.. It’s really cmeing down out here.. great.."
"Heyya shorty..." "What!? Who the hell said ... that...? To make a bad day worse!" he looked around quickly fuming and blinked through the rain at the two girls. His mouth open slightly as he blinked a few more times in shock. "Are... are you... real...?" “Nope, a figment of your imagination, you’ve been sneaking havocs cigarettes haven’t you? You know those things are lace with illegal things.. and they stunt your growth.. oh.. too late…” |
"We don't have to ask him" Al said quietly. "We're more then qualified enough to do it" The younger Elric raised his eyebrow looking through the rain at the two figures before he looked over at his brother.
Mel lifted her head up and just stared. "E-Edward? A-Alphonse? It really is you two..." She smiled. "It's been such a long time..." She then smacked D's arm playfully. "We're not going to start bickering already are we?" She rubbed her arm before she sneezed again. "Ugh...I hate rain..." |
"Al~?" She giggled and lunged forward, glomping the small boy. "You're so adorable~" She grinned. "And much warmer then your suite of armor~" She nuzzled the top of his head, clutching him to her chest, cooing and swooning over how cute he was.
He flushed slightly and looked away. "Wh-what are you doing here? I thought you left.." He grumbled softly. She wrinkled her nose looking over at Ed for a moment and stuck out her tongue. “Mel broke the space time continuum.. so you’re stuck with us until you can figure out a way to get us home.. aren’t you a lucky boy..?” She smirked and went back to cuddling the young boy. “Ohh~ You’re so cute I could just pinch your cheeks!” |
Al was a smart boy he put two and two together realizing they were the girls from before but he couldn't remember which one was which. His face turned red getting pressed into her chest. "E-Excuse me..." He gulped a bit. "I don't mean to be rude but I can't breath..."
Mel wrapped her arms around herself shivering slightly. "I know we left but..." She blushed slightly when D spoke again. "Yeah...pretty much that..." She stared down at the ground shifting a bit. "We don't want to bother you but...after how we left we needed to find someone that didn't want to throw us in jail..." "Brother..." Al mumbled through D. "We should really get inside before they catch colds..." |
"Oh.. I didn't know you could break that..." He murmured and stared off to the side. He looked back at Al, and D smothering him to her chest. "H-hey! Let him go!"
She giggled and released him reluctantly, rubbing her cheek with his. "So cute~ Mel~ you have to hug him! He’s so much more squishy then last time!” She squealed softly and glomped him again out of sheer happiness before releasing him again and clearing her throat. “S-sorry…” She paused a blinked a bit. “W-wait.. you don’t remember us..do you?” She looked hurt frowning softly since he hadn't yet addressed them by their names. She might not have been a genius, but she wasn't stupid. She smiled sweetly shaking her head "Oh, never mind..." She took a step back, bowing slightly. "Nice to meet the real you Al-kun.. I'm sorry if I scared you." "Oh don't give me that.. you devil woman!" "Hey! that's not nice!" "Who's the one that can exchange souls into other bodies?" "Oh.. well.. I don't know if we.. can.. anymore..." She murmured and bit her lip her eyes wide. "Mel.. you don't think that if we can.. that.. I'll still.." She scrunched up her face, unsure of the right word. "Need a 'recharge'?" He frowned softly, remembering the odd turn of events and dropped the subject. "Come on, lets get you inside" "Damn.. I guess this means I'm not a colonel any more huh?" She blinked. "Speaking of... is he in his office...?" She smirked. "I wanna freak him out.. could be fun..." She looked to mel before she could protest. "And it'll get us out of the rain.." He blinked for a moment. "I.. think so.." He murmured softly and raised an eyebrow, smirking softly. "Torturing Mustang..? I'm in..." The blond grinned |
"Well this is me we're talking about" Mel shrugged a little rubbing her cheek. "I have talents in breaking things.." Not that that should have been something to be proud off, not that she as.
Al sighed slightly when he was let go. "thank you" He mumbled quietly before she glomped him again. "No...I can't remember you I'm sorry..." Al frowned. "Please forgive me...my brother told me as much as he could remember.." He smiled and nodded a bit. "It's alright I'm sure you didn't mean to scare me" Mel blinked looking over at D and frowned. "I don't think so...I would assume you would have needed one by now?" Mel blinked looking down at her hands. Alchemy wasn't the last power she had. She then tilted her head as if she as thinking. "Hmm...maybe it takes them a moment to catch up...or I need to rest..." Once she heard the word inside she smiled. "Ah yes inside is good I'm freezing" Mel then blinked. "Annoy Roy? Well I guess I'm up for it" Al looked between the three of them and frowned. "I really don't think we need too...he's in trouble enough as it is..." He sighed rubbing the back of his head. |
"So long as you keep quiet I can probably get away with saying you're guests of ours... it has been a while.. I don't think people will really recognize you..."
She smirked. "With the exception of those we made an impression on... Pony boy being one of them..." She grinned wickedly. “Oh.. I wonder if we could go all Christmas Carol on him… ‘You’ve done wrong by us Mustang.. so tonight you will be visited by three ghosts…’…” She retorted in a creepy voice wiggling her fingers at Mel before laughing softly. She giggled and linked arms with Mel and looked back at Al pouting softly. "What if I show you pictures of my kitty...? I promise she’s adorable…" He laughed softly and followed after them quietly. He paused for a moment and raised an eyebrow. “Um.. guys.. his office is this way…” She blinked and paused looking around and then to the direction he was indicating. “Well.. why’d you let us go this way.. some guide you are..” She teased and redirected herself and Mel to the way he indicated, practically skipping. |
Mel nodded. "Promise I won't say anything" She laughed a little before she looked over at D and shivered a little. "No ghosts~ scary" She pouted before D linked arms with her. She then looked over at Edward before she coughed. "Ah we knew that" She nodded as she followed Edward in D's arm.
Al smiled a little hearing about a cat. "okay...but I don't think I'll do anything...just stand there and listen.." He sweatdropped. Al didn't want to get fired or kicked out of the military. |
"Down this hall.. second door on the right..." he looked over his shoulder tothe girls, so what's your plan...?"
"Hnn.." she murmured and smiled softly "I think I've got it..." She looked at Mel. "Knock on the door, wait for his excuse and have you walk in anyway, accusing him of something..." She smiled. "Maybe telling him what just happened is all his fault... clueless we'll walk in and say hi?" "Sounds good.. but you know I never follow plans anyway..." Ed smiled as he kicked in the door."Mustang! I'm going to kill you!" He growled and slammed his hand down on the desk. "What the hell do you think the bid idea is? I know what you did Mustang... It's your fault this happened!" |
"Sounds like a decent plan..." Mel nodded before she went to step to the door to knock before Edward kicked the door in. She stared at him covering her mouth. "That was really hot" She whispered to D quietly.
Al facepalmed watching his brother. "You'll just have to pay for that..." Al sighed looking over at Mel. She had a rather loud whisper. Roy twitched slightly dropping his pen looking over where he door used to be. "What's the meaning of this Fullmetal?!" Roy growled standing up and staring down at the blonde. "What did I do? I've been stuck in here doing paperwork!" |
"Right.. so I suppose my brother getting attacked by some crazy was just a coincidence... I know you were behind it Colonel..."
She pouted softly. "I'm not crazy..." She murmured softly. |
Roy raised his eyebrow before he shrugged. "I had nothing to do with that Fullmetal..." He smirked. "Why would I have someone attack your brother? He doesn't annoy me..."
"Only a little crazy..?" She winked before she moved towards Roy's door and looked down at it. "Wow...I'm glad things haven't changed too much" She grinned. |
She giggled and stepped in, tugging Alphonse along. "There you are.." She mused and looked to Roy. "Hnn... nope.. he hasn't changed one bit.. slacking as always..." She murmured stepping over to his desk looking at the blank documents. "Honestly.. how hard is it to sign your name all day... You're one lazy man..."

Al hung his head slightly. Things weren't going to end well. Hopefully no one started fighting.
Roy paused for a moment staring over at Mel then at D when she walked in dragging Al. "It couldn't be...but we saw you two..." He coughed slightly. "Of course...we couldn't be rid of you that easily" He sat back down and frowned. "I do more then sign my name you know..." He smirked. "Even if you don't believe it I'm very important" "You should just get a stamp with your name on it..." Mel chuckled. Al moved over to his broken door and fixed it. |
She smirked softly sitting on his desk looking down at him, still rather wet from the rain outside, she shivered slightly. "No, all the important people are younger then you.." She teased and smirked. "If you want we can take this outside..." She murmured listening to a loud crash of thunder and the rain pouring harder.

Roy crossed his arms glancing at the window. "No thank you...I'm not starting a fighting with children..." He placed his chin in his hands. "Can I actually help you with something or did you just come here to bother me?"
Mel covered her mouth so she wouldn't say anything stupid. She shifted slightly. "We're just looking for people that you know...won't throw us in jail..." "If you keep pestering me I might think about it! Hawkeye will have my head it I don't finish my paperwork" He twitched. "What brings you two ladies back here anyway?" He raised his eyebrow. "I broke the internet" Mel nodded proudly. "Or time and space" |
