I failed at today. I totally just fell asleep. Like, completely. And now I'm like a zombie. But my hip has stopped hurting.

You didn't fail at today, you just had a nice dream session hopefully. ^_^; I remember when I slept all day once, I had a nice dream session. ;)

I thought vegans were allowed to eat Fish?

Vegans are not allowed to eat fish, otherwise, they're not really vegans.
They're hypocrites, like vegetarians that try to eat fish. Fish are still "meat"

If you really are a veggie, you eat nothing but alternatives and organics.

I thought Vegans ate anything that came naturally from the land or w/e. No red meat basically. So Fish were okay. . .

M i r o 07-01-2012 12:47 AM

Well, in my eyes, if a living thing is to be killed then it's not considered natural.

Vegans are where they eat nothing consumed or made by animals.
That's why they don't touch anything that's processed by dairy, etc.

Vegetarians are those who still eat and consume things produced from animals.
But they are supposed to not eat meat, since that's why they became a veggie.

monstahh` 07-01-2012 12:48 AM

I can't be a vegetarian or vegan even if I wanted to be (and actually I would like to be...)

Too many allergies + gastroparesis.
Some meat is tasty, but, idk, eating too much isn't good for you, and I'd lose weight if I cut it out of my diet, and I like veggies...just cant eat them for the most part.

MoodyBats 07-01-2012 12:49 AM

my toe nail cut my wrist :gonk:

Ah, that sucks.

Someone who eats no meat but eats fish is called a pescetarian.

MoodyBats 07-01-2012 12:51 AM

my cousin eats fish and no meat. She just doesn't like eating meat and doesn't like the taste of it.

Superstition 07-01-2012 12:51 AM

Some vegetarians consider it okay to eat seafood but that's still meat so that's not really being vegetarian..... I don't like seafood so it's not a problem for me :P I'm an almost-vegan. I can't have dairy but I eat eggs and honey

M i r o 07-01-2012 12:52 AM

@ Monstahh; I knew there was a word for that! XD
I could never put my finger on it.

@ Desire; Meat makes you feel heavy and slows you down.
Unless your into extreme protein and have a high metabolism.

@ Superstition; I know! XD
I find it funny how they contradict themselves.

MoodyBats 07-01-2012 12:52 AM

Miro
is a high metabolism where you loose weight or don't gain weight? Cause I don't gain weight at all.

M i r o 07-01-2012 12:54 AM

Yeps! It's where your metabolism denigrates everything you consume.
It makes it harder for you to gain weight and you either don't gain or lose it all.

Since it's so high, you don't risk of gaining anything. But it's not good to jinx it, since a lot of my classmates from middle school boasted about it and ate as much as they want. By the time we were in high school, they grew 40lbs or more. Some didn't but those were the ones who were extremely athletic and were in sports.

Technically if you eat fish and no other meat you're a piscitarian. Likewise, with chicken only, you're a pollotarian. But nobody knows what those words actually mean in real life so most vegetarians just say they make exceptions.

Now it's dinner time. Talk to you guys later.

Superstition 07-01-2012 12:54 AM

High metabolism: don't gain weight
Low metabolism: don't lose weight

MoodyBats 07-01-2012 12:55 AM

miro
well I can't gain wait. no matter if its fast food, junk food, nothing sticks with me. I weigh like 95lbs or less now [i am pretty tall and seventeen so I am not sure if that's normal.] Though I wouldn't jinx it ether. So I eat healthy usually.

Superstition 07-01-2012 12:55 AM

See ya steel!

monstahh` 07-01-2012 12:55 AM

High metabolism means you metabolize things quickly.

I have a slow metabolism, due to a slow thyroid (hypothyroidism)... which causes me to gain weight.

What an odd name for it.

I had to look up how to spell Pescetarianism. I knew how to pronounce it but wasn't sure about the spelling.

Your such a girl sometimes, it's adorable :XD

M i r o 07-01-2012 12:58 AM

Byeeee Steeeely! ^^

@ Desire; Well, I'm not sure. What is your height? Usually the taller you are, the harder it is.
They stated somewhere in a magazine research that if you're 5'5" or below, you're supposed to be between 100-110lbs?

Any smaller than that, you're supposed to weigh less.

My boyfriend is 6'4" and he's only 180lbs. Tall, straight and lanky. XD The poor thing!
He has the same problem as you but that doesn't mean you're unhealthy or anything. It's just how your body is.

But really, I don't think anyone should go by any standards if they eat healthy and are not suffering from obesity and whatnots. Society sometimes really screws us up. And that's a good thing you take care of and not jinx yourself.

Superstition 07-01-2012 12:59 AM

Peace out guys. Gotta go make some supper
