Ok I've think chocolate cake is a fail anytime I make it... The only exception is German chocolate... The cake was so dry yesterday!

I think it's salad for dinner tonight as well because it's going to be the easiest / I don't have to think - just chop food in the house.

I'm having chicken wings + salad, simple but tasty. =D

I would love to have chicken wings, but man! frying those babies is going to be MESSY! I'm not looking forward to that kinda clean up.

And I made some onion dip the other day, to eat with my carrots.... soooooo tasty.

Oh, I broil mine. =D I'd love to fry, but then I'd be making doughnuts every other day, and I would start to have problems seeing my toes. =D

Broiling sounds good too....

I really like broiling, it cuts cooking time and in summer it won't heat up the whole kitchen (in my case, in my apt, the living room AND the kitchen because it's open) even though the broiler is a high temperature.

I don't know why I like taco dip so much, but I do. D= It might be the fact that I can put veggies up on top of the dip and it still works. =D

Do you mind if I ask your recipe for this taco dip you speak of?! I know people make it different ways. But I'm looking for some new dinner ideas!

I made cr*p in a box today because it was just Seanny and I for dinner..... I need to come to grips with the fact that the Dillon's (other c word) boss is NEVER going to give him day shifts or shifts he can count on... I am only going to get to have family dinners twice a week if that.... Usually we are so busy catching up on Dillon's days off that we forget about Dinner until the last minute... A couple of days ago I did however successfully make California Salad... Sooo YUMMY!

What is California Salad?

Lettuce (I use romain? can't spell hearts but when I worked for Target we just used regular Iceburg) dried cherries feta cheese and grilled chicken strips... Best served with Poppyseed dressing ^^

Dried cherries?! You know - I still haven't gotten used to sweeter things in my salad. I'd be willing to try it - but if I have a choice between salty / savory / or sweet salad - I don't usually choose the sweet.

But I want to try this salad. Should I just make it - or purchase this crazy new salad I'm being introduced to?

I'm not a fan of balsamic - but my sister says it's because I haven't had it properly prepared...

Well - i see it in recipes all the damn time - so people HAVE to like it. I have some in my pantry - I just never really use it. I'm waiting for my sister to make me something tasty with it.

I prefer red wine vinegar! ^_~ but I use Balsamic in cooking...

Dried Cherries = Dehydrated cherries sorry ><;; Cherry Raisins lol... It has a nice combo of flavors leaning on the sweet side imo it is an awesome salad!

I love balsamic vinegar. I hardly ever use red wine vinegar anymore.

Dried cherries or cranberries are really good in salad - especially if there's a little spinach in it. YUMMY :drool:

I did try some Fizzy Skittles today - they are kinda mixed between Sour Skitttles and PopRoocks powder? It's... interesting.

Fish or burgers for dinner... I don't know yet.
