Yep, the filling is rather like pumpkin pie filling only not as creamy. I love them and you can only buy them in the fall.

I have 3 cups of pureed baked pumpkin still left from Mr. Pumpkin who became a pie... I am thinking of making pumpkin cranberry muffins ^^ and pumpkin swirl bread (need to find that recipe again ><; )

I cooked all my own food ^_^;

We cooked the turkey and made this crazy salad - and something called Tembleque, which is a lot like a coconut puddingish, custard, jello - kinda. It's freaking tasty.

There were not as many leftovers as I thought there would be - but there was PIE LEFTOVERS~!!!!

I made Turkey homemade stuffing, mashed tatoes, gravy, yams, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin swirl bread, banana bread, pumpkin pie and apple pie ^^....

It was originally just going to be my boys, husband and I. But we invited our two closet friends over and they both ate with us. Their daughter was there to but she is too little to eat dinner with us really lol...
