I think too that the Earth can support the population it has but we aren't taking care of the planet, or each other for that matter, as we should. I guess it's kinda like you said. We just need to find better ways to live with the environment around us.

I actually come from a big family and I loved it. I have four brothers and two sisters, granted it is a mixed family so it's a bit different. I think there is a big difference of people who really love children and want a large family over people who do it either because they 'think' they need to or for TV and such. I think what bugs me the most is people who keep having kids when they can't support them and just keep living off the government. Kids not only need physical care like a home and food but emotion care as well and if you don't have the time or money to take care of those needs for all your children don't keep having them. Also I hate shows like Octa-mom or whatever the hell it's called. Honestly I don't see how having cameras around all the time in your familys life is healthy.

Yup it seems like even though we "disagree" were on the same page >.< I don't think large loving families are bad, but yeah welfare families grrr I don't mean like some people that NEED goverment help for a period of time, hell I was on food stamps for six months myself when russ wasn't working, but then there's this bitch at my work has 6 kids and she brags about how much the gov gives her *shakes fist* she not a very good mom at all drinks and smokes all the time even while she's pregnant (and I mean ALL the way through not just early on) ignores her kids and leaves them at home with no one. I dunno motherhood is the hardest job in the world, but the easiest to get o.O No instruction need... But if you adopt you have to go through this rigorous set of standards and own a home with a spare room maybe if we could just set some easy standards like "you have to have graduated high school" for starters >.< But the problem with that is how do you implement that. I don't see mothers putting there daughters on mandated birth control the second there period starts? o.O I mean it might help with the cramps lol but it would never happen, and hormons at the young of an age wouldn't be good any way. I dunno I think it should be easier to adopt. There are SO many kids out there who REALLY need someone that loves them and instead people that don't even want kids are having them </rant>

Oh wow yeah that lady sounds like a total bitch. I totally agree with you on the adopting thing. It's like if your blood you can treat your kids like shit but to adopt you have to fit the perfect standards or no go. I really think a bit portion of problems would be solved with education as well. I don't just mean high school but just everyday life stuff and even world impact stuff. Good examples are sex education, money management, and such.

YES I think education should start way earlier on a lot of things, and teach things like environmental responsibility REALLY young not wait till like ... collage. Sex ed I think shouldn't be earlier but just integrated into health class.

Indeed, I also think we need to think about HOW we educate to. Like scare tactics in sex/drug ed to. All they ever did was tell me my life would be over if I took drugs, didn't matter what kind they would all END you life or they showed me pictures of STDs ,.. and the WORST possible cases ever it seems. I couldn't understand it, why am I not old enough to see porn yet I can see a penis and balls cover in puss filled warts o.O that was not effective, it was well I think I'll notice that and know something up XD
Plus I think overall learning should be a bit more interactive. I always like classes like science because you could SEE it happing, and do it observe it screw with it and see if it changes... or blows up lol. Stuff like MATH that there is no tangible play toy i have a HARD time with it. But I can budget well because it makes sense they way it .. all comes together i guess I dunno if that made any sense but blame it on my schooling >.<

I totally agree. Educate people on stuff that is more realist and happens to a larger percent of people as well as the uncommon stuff. Like you have this sort of % of getting this and so and so % of getting this. Good ways to prevent this are. If you do get this ways to treat it are. So on and so forth instead of STDs are bad and you will die. So yeah I agree.

Exactly like they told me all these horrible things about pot and then when I tried it anyway and I just ate a bowl of cereal and went to sleep >.< So then it was like "well did they lie about everything?" So then a dealer asked if I wanted to try coke and I was like "Sure let's see what this is actually like" and it really WAS horrible oh ugh just the memory puts a bad taste in my mouth. It honestly felt like I had a whole tennis ball lodged in my throat o.O So now when I hear the "gateway drug" thing it REALLY pisses me off because yes I did try coke after pot, but I would have NEVER even tried it if they were honest (pot will make you sleepy and unmotivated, but won't kill you, on the other hand coke will put a whole in your nose) Plus it was my dealer for weed that tried to get me to try it so I would just pay for something more. So REALLY if you look at it from my perspective if it were legal and I had gone to a store, I would have never been exposed to anything harder. It seems like it's the education and the legislation that makes it a gateway besides most of the people that I know smoke only smoke and don't do anything else, so how can they say everyone that smokes weed is going to end up on meth?

Yeah they need to be honest when they teach sex ed and drug education. Just trying to scare people isn't going to do it. Give logical reasoning behind what you say and more people will listen to you. Plus it's like you said, if you aren't reasonable in what you teach then they won't believe you anyhow and then they will disregard the import stuff because you were overly dramatic with the not as important stuff. Does that make sense?
