"That was supposed to be a joke," Glory said. "I'm no good at math, and there's a lot of math in science, and any kind of biology is a science degree. I'm not good at languages, either, but I'm really good at english literature. I like words themselves."

Léan nodded idly, sighing. "Mm...I could go for a nap...how about you?" he asked, curiously.

"A nap sounds good," Glory agreed. Anything to stay close to him.

Léan curled up, nuzzling himself against her snugly. He was happy to spend time with her, curled up like this. He didn't want to move until he absolutely had to.

Glory snuggled close to him, happy. She never thought she could be this content, but she was. Now if only she wasn't so afraid to admit that she loved him...

Léan was just as frightened to admit it as she was. Unlike her, however...when he finally worked up the courage to admit it, he would clam up and wouldn't be able to say it.

Leaning up, Glory gave him a kiss before settling in for their nap. She was afraid to admit her feelings. As strong as she acted, she was horribly insecure and she was terrified that he would leave her.

Léan was also afraid. He was just as insecure as she was. Just as afraid. It would take him so long to admit it, and he would need help. Slowly, he started to drift off.

Glory gradually drifted off as well, comfortable and content in his arms.

Léan slept for a long while, peaceful and comfortable in her arms. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so comfortable in the presence of someone else.

Glory slept peacefully, though not as deeply as she would have if she was actually planning to get a full night's sleep. She'd never slept so well as when she was with him, and she had no real intention of changing that.

Léan woke up slowly much, much later. He shifted in bed, yawning softly, and then settled back down to rest. He didn't want to get up just yet.

Glory didn't wake up when he shifted a bit, having drifted into a deeper sleep. Her breathing was deep and even, and her eyes were moving rapidly under her eyelids, so she might have been dreaming.

Léan stayed where he was, yawning and resting against her snugly. He didn't feel like moving, but he watched her dream with interest.

Glory slept for a while longer, drifting in and out of a dream state. She had no problems sleeping when she got the chance, and she was very comfortable. Eventually, though, she started to wake up and she stretched a bit.

"Good morning," Léan greeted, softly. His tail was flicking back and forth beneath the blankets. He was wide awake by now.

Glory grinned.
"Morning," she replied, giving him a kiss. |
Léan responded to her kiss reluctantly at first, and then gently. "Did you sleep well? You seemed as if you were having quite an engaging dream."

"I slept fine," Glory replied. "No different than any other night, at least." Her dreams always tended to be strange, so she never paid them any mind anymore, unless they were particularly unusual or frightening.

Léan nodded, idly, and then sighed, blissfully. "I'm still too comfortable to move. Do you have to go to school?" he added, miserably. He didn't keep track of the days anymore. "If so...I can go out, and see if your mother really does need some Abrium."

"Yeah, I have school," Glory replied softly. She could hear how miserable he was at the idea and snuggled closer. "I know you don't like it, but I have to go. You didn't have this much of a problem with it before..."

Léan nodded slowly. He still seemed deflated by the idea. But, perhaps he could go and help out with Clarissa and make sure the transformation went correctly. Abrium would probably be needed.

Glory gave him a kiss.
"Like I said before... Just until the end of the spring," she said. "Then it'll be summer again and the weather will warm up." |
Léan sighed, nodding again and finally cracking a small smile. "Yes...yes, that's true." He paused. "Maybe I should head outside. If she needs Abrium, she should get it as quickly as possible.

"Alright," Glory said, standing up and stretching. "Let me grab a sweatshirt and a pair of shoes first. It's getting too cold to be running out to the beach without them."
