Léan didn't bring it up for her, though he seemed like he wanted to. He was nervous...there was little he or anyone else could to change his view on how he would be around children, but he didn't want the topic to come up again...

"Come snuggle in with me?" Glory finally asked him. She didn't bring up the subject of the children yet, either. They would have to talk about it soon, though.

Léan sniffed, lightly, and stood up, wordlessly nodding. He wasn't upset with her anymore...that was a good sign. He was still upset...but not upset with her.

Glory stood up as well and took his hand again, walking with him back to her bedroom. She climbed onto the bed first, so that she would be between the wall and him.

Léan lowered himself into bed beside her. His eyes were a bit red, like he'd been recently crying. That had also tuckered him out...
|
Glory snuggled close to him. She was sure they both needed the contact. She rested her head gently on his shoulder.

Léan didn't say a word. He just shifted closer to her, relaxing and settling down for rest. He didn't want to say anything...he didn't want to bring the subject up.

"I love you," Glory murmured as she settled in with him. She didn't bring up the subject either. She figured it was better to wait until they were both feeling a bit better.

Léan murmured something that sounded like 'I love you, too,' messily combined with 'I'm sorry.' He fell silent again, and then settled down to rest.

Glory snuggled closer to him, drifting off to sleep.

Léan soon followed her, drifting off uneasily, at best. Being surprised and getting himself into a fight today had taken its toll on him.

Glory stayed cuddled close to him in her sleep. Her rest was a bit uneasy as well, and bad dreams woke her up once or twice before she drifted off again.

Léan did not wake up, but he did have some nerve-wracking nightmares, a few of which caused him to toss and turn, and even shiver. He slept very deeply after a good cry...

It was partially a nightmare and partially his tossing and turning that woke Glory again. She snuggled closer to him, as if afraid that he might vanish. Her nightmares weren't violent, but they were starting to hit home.

Léan was running a slight fever, but that was probably from all the stress recently...extreme stress often made him break out in a low fever. Instinctively, he cuddled closer to her.

After waking up for a fourth time, glory didn't immediately go back to sleep. She didn't want another nightmare again, so she just laid there with him quietly. She rubbed her stomach gently. They wouldn't be able to ignore it soon, and she hoped that they would talk about things before then.

Léan finally jolted out of sleep, after a horrifying nightmare. He sat up quickly, though not roughly enough to buck her off or hurt her. He sighed, slowly, and laid back down.

"Seems neither of us can sleep tonight," Glory murmured as she sat up as well. She was tired, but she didn't want to go back to sleep. She didn't want any more nightmares.

"Ah..." Léan seemed unsettled by that. Eventually, their silence would lead to conversation...and the topic would probably be brought up.

Glory cuddled closer to him. She knew one of them would eventually break the silence, somehow, and she knew they would have to talk, but for the moment, she just wanted him to cuddle with her.

Léan was more than happy to oblige, his mind racing and trying to come up with topics to talk about...neutral topics, that wouldn't cause any issues.

Glory didn't know what to talk about, either. Everything seemed like it would lead back to the subject that they didn't want to talk about. She would bring it up herself, but she didn't want to upset him again, and her nightmares still seemed a bit too fresh for her comfort.

Léan cleared his throat, slowly. "...How about we share stories from the past? Or play a game of questions...? Just keep asking each other questions over and over..."

Glory sighed slightly. It was the middle of the night, and he was just trying to delay the inevitable.
"You're just stalling," she teased softly, giving him a kiss. |
Léan sighed, and then shuffled closer, lowering his eyes slightly. "Yes...but at least it will be interesting..." he offered, lamely.
